- its clear to me dev has no idea, cant string a simple sentence together.
Yep..you sound objective.  Smiley
1622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uncensored XC thread on: June 03, 2014, 03:42:22 AM
Biggest fuckin scam since Aur.
Nearly everything about it is different to AUR.
So no, I think it is a genuine attempt at privacy that may or may not take. It's too early to say. I'm just holding a lazy 1000 just in case, which I'm prepared to lose, and keenly following developments. If you want to buy Cryptos' then you must take some risk  Smiley
If this one works it could be very big. We will have to wait and see
1623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: June 02, 2014, 11:20:48 PM
or will you explain us why noone wants to buy this particular coin?  Grin
Sure. There is no plan. No active community as such. Dev doesn't inspire. There are better organised similar coins. Focus is on miners mining.
So price is in free fall. The only buyers are those who left orders in long ago.
1624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AIRcoin on: June 02, 2014, 08:28:12 PM
Any news from TeamAir?
1625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uncensored XC thread on: June 02, 2014, 03:49:00 PM

Then why doesn't atcsecure address the issue directly like you just did. If he said exactly what you just said people would trust him more.
Possibly because this issue is important for people today who want to gamble on the coin and get rich quick.
The Dev probably has much more pressing things to do.
He might be putting all his energy into making the project work in the long run. The coin has probably enough attention now, so the trick is to develop it
1626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: June 02, 2014, 11:08:57 AM
My first steps exploring Quazar began with studing CryptoNote protocol and the CryptoNight algorithm.
That is a good first step. Then try to understand why no one wants to buy this particular coin but they will buy other CN coins
1627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: June 02, 2014, 11:07:07 AM

sorry, its been a long day Today...

QCN is already being actually used in trade. distribution and commerce is going up well!
Lies.
1628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: June 02, 2014, 11:06:17 AM

I disagree with you. They are good developers and constantly doing updates and fixing bugs
What updates or bugs that will do the coin any good???
1629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: June 02, 2014, 11:05:15 AM
hi all! I'm completely new here. is it a good time to start mining this Quazars?

At the moment the rarity of QCN is it's attraction. The sooner you start mining the better it is for you
Rarity is no reason to buy a coin
1630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: June 02, 2014, 11:04:13 AM

When coin is cheap it's the best time mine and holding  Wink
Not true....most coins end up worthless

No probs. Smiley and thank you.

... so why do I like it.. let me be very honest first , I have not read (and I should) cryptonight white paper (just to school myself on the underlying algo) so it is tough for me to know if for example GPU or fPGA or ASIC hardware will eventually mine this..

But on the principle.. is that right now, as of now, eeeeeryone can mine this.. globally around the world and interface is quite simple to anyone that remotely touched a command line.. and I suspect there is great deal of people (20 years ago was less) but not Today..

And there is this *emission curve* on which I wrote before and will quote again because this is what I really like.. it is not about the coin.. its about possibility of having QNC in the hands of many many people...
Yes, but this is just not enough i don't think.
....

and finally, coins will need to start being actually used! or nothing will help.
. hence accent of distribution and commerce, without it.. they will collect dust
in  wallets.. this problem is common to the whole landscape of cryptocoins.. be
lieve Quazar will be used and this is very attractive

(used as in buy/sell of goods and service and not just intra-day trading, our "competition" emission is intra day friendly, pile up pump then sell massive quantity (when that almost exponential curve ends and rewards and difficulty is high, price is high. then sell.. this is NOT commerce.. and I dont like it
But there is no plan to do this, is there. Compare this to XC, which is at least looking professional to some degree.
This just looks like it has been released in the hope that somehow it works.
Those days are gone IMHO
...
All we see is miners talking about mining...and that means the coin will die

1632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: June 01, 2014, 03:48:57 PM
are you by any chance from a competing coin ?  Cool
No Im not Smiley

But the point is that no one, yourself included, has been able to articulate the reason or reasons why this coin is any good.
Do you like this coin?
For what reason?
1633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uncensored XC thread on: June 01, 2014, 08:47:57 AM
Now it's up.
Was everything in order?
1634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: June 01, 2014, 08:05:47 AM
The only evidence we have here is that this is a coin with no future, and miners are happy to mine and dump.

Unless someone has a case to make?
1635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: June 01, 2014, 08:03:48 AM

precise, is just that , system draws more power.. I have a 6 core AMD processor (as a matter of fact it would be nice to tabulate hash power for each CPU at some point, make a table, just like it is done for GPU's) 5 core I use for QCN and one core goes to GPU , works great..

had to however split power line in two because of extra Watts needed., and system heats up a bit more.. but yes I am utilizing 100% of what I got.. and it feels kind of good.. nothing is idle.. and it is all making money

 Cool

All of which means the coin will probably die. No one can give any reason to buy the coin, miners are selling to fools who buy. I've seen it many times before.
1636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: June 01, 2014, 07:59:51 AM
Yeah, like most CN coins now QNC is lucky to be one of the first, while MRO still leads in innovations, this coin has enough distinctions to keep in the game.
Such as? What are these distinctions you chose not to mention?
Thanks
1637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uncensored XC thread on: May 31, 2014, 07:02:09 AM
This thread is funny. Here we are at the cutting edge of a system, a technology and knowledge that could benefit all of mankind, yet we find these childish arguments.
Lets look at the big picture
1638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uncensored XC thread on: May 31, 2014, 06:56:36 AM

If I'm wrong, I'm sorry. I have been known to be wrong.

WEll as somemone who hold s both coins, I could not see many facts in your post....can you maybe tell us the facts about the situation and link to sources? thnx
1639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: May 31, 2014, 06:48:14 AM
That's a pity that we don't see qcn on mintpal. It's not the key to success but it would be great
The key to success is convincing people that ring sigs have some chance of finding a place in the world, and explaining why QCN is a good coin WRT its specs.
Instead what we see is focus on how miners can sell to suckers and get BTC
1640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QCN] QuazarCoin | Privacy&Data protection | CPU only | Optimized miner on: May 31, 2014, 06:44:50 AM
Isn't active? I see him posting at lot on this thread, seems active to me.
Two things concern me.
1. He didn't understand why Mintpal would not accept cryptonote coins.
2. He was without internet for a whole weekend
