Hi,
I am about to place an order for some GPU's but wanted to know which one of these is better?
Asus DUAL-RX580-O8G 244.62$ USD
MSI RX 580 GAMING X 8G 267.70$ USD
I read that the msi run cooler but i never had a msi so i cant vouch for them but i had some asus and those are okay.
If this matters, I would prefer a card that runs colder and can be tuned for the lowest power consumption.

Dual are the bad! The cooling is awful. Card quality is like lottery. I have 1 it's running great lowest voltages on same clocks, but the second wasn't even able run at stock settings... 69° and it was crashing... I've just bought MSI RX 480 Gaming X 4G so will let you know how it is, I will have it next week. |

Hynix won't reach 33MH/s. It's only possible with Samsung. Hynix are more tricky there isn't as much universal strap as for Sumsung. It need tweak for every card. If you got Hynix better to return it... It's cost lot of time... Elpida and Samsung those are my favorite. If you need timings for Hynix, PM me. |

Same here, I ordered 60 so far in small batches, never had problems, although shipping time is a kind of lottery, sometimes they arrive in 2 weeks, but last delivery took 6 weeks. I was happy with VENICO Store and ShenZhen TISHRIC Factory Store, but Shenzhen JX Technology CO., LTD usually ships after a week from receiving order.

Just make sure your order from 5* sellers, it's a bit like ebay. Also chinese post isn't the best option either. I always got my orders though, but it takes 3-4 weeks to arrive.
I have now ordered about 400 risers in total from aliexpress from different sellers, always got them. Last order I placed was with MJ's Retail & Wholesale Store, they've been shipped per UPS.
I've bought some risers with molex in that store too. They didn't have PCI-E 6 pin version so I ordered few risers in other store also. |

Just one question: How can you use ddu if your vbios is flashed to a non uefi modded vbios? Rebooting into safe mode will only give you a blank screen, right?
You can use DDU in normal mode. I would say there is almost no risk, use only uninstall and reboot or power off options. To boot in safe mode use iGPU. |

Sapphire was surely cheaper, I would say 30 % cheaper, for MSI I can not find a reliable price history, in some shops it's available for 400€. Prices in European countries does not differ much. But the price history does not help much.. In terms of making some returns with mining, is a expence of 300€ per card (MSI) or 350 for a Sapphire card, good or not?

RX 480 won't be in stock anymore, they do not produce them. RX 580 will be in stock, but lot's of shops says that it will be in July... |

Ok great  Thats good answer. Do you have any recommended laptops maybe? Looking at around $1k +/- $200 No, I dont. Find one with Kaby Lake or Skylake i7, the best you can have. 2 fans for better cooling. |

It will mine XMR, so use XMR-STAK-CPU it's better. You need some newer CPU, with AES support, big L3 cache, i5 or i7, best would be from two latest series. |
