According to Charlie Shrem, several govt agencies are monitoring here.

Of course they are what do you expect?

They are monitoring automatically and with agents; you can consider it is their job, it depends how they monitor and what is the purpose
1642  Economy / Gambling / Re: MakeBTC.org is the best passive BTC income invest on: June 13, 2014, 04:00:53 PM
Guys, I've found a site that may or may not be the new makebtc.org
It is very similar and has the same features as the old site!

http://qoingrow.com/index.php

are you advertising the website on the thread of a website that sc.ammed us

makeBTC was on the forum April 5 2014 for the last time
1643  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 13, 2014, 01:03:49 AM
Now that we are in reverse it is only a matter of time before someone arbs by buying up all the cheap coins on stamp and dump on the higher exchanges. Equilibrium looks above 600 as of now.

You would think someone would do that but the market is going down so it is risky

585$ on Bistamp and it went down as low as 569$
1644  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I start earning Bitcoin ? on: June 12, 2014, 08:05:23 PM
I don't find faucets and giveaways an effective way to earn bitcoin. The best ways are to offer goods and services in exchange for bitcoin. Have anything you would normally flip on eBay or the like? Sell it here in the marketplace for some coin! Smiley

The most effective way is to sell something expensive or use your savings to buy some
The most effective way of acquiring bitcoins is the same as acquiring any other currency. There's no free money. Smiley

This.

No matter whether you consider bitcoin as money or property, you won't get "money" or "property" for free. Smiley

When you want something of value, you need to exchange something else of value to get it : work, property, overvalued fiat
Yup. Many people ignore the fact that even filling in captchas is literally working for the small amount of dust you get.

Yes and you are not paid well for your time

You can make tens of dollars an hour working hard when you will make litterally pennies an hour solving captchas
1645  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: I want to buy your Member, Full member, SR. or Hero member accounts on: June 12, 2014, 08:03:53 PM
Why don't you do that then? There's no gurantee signature deals will even be around by the time you build them up, but you'd probably be better off just using the accounts to participate in a sig deal as you wouldn't get much more than what you can on them anyway.

You need some dedication and you need to post 480posts to become a Hero Member
1646  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin listed on Yahoo Finance on: June 12, 2014, 08:03:03 PM
Shocked

Was also my reaction this is neat if I remember right and comes in second place for the Bitcoin news of the day ha-ha
Expedia won lol.
That said I am glad that Yahoo Finance is taking Bitcoin seriously enough to add its own ticker for it.

This comment summed it up
“This is literally the best news I’ve had all day, and the day is still young!” said one commenter. “Another nice stamp of approval,” said another.

Amazing to think its going by day now this might have been the news of the week a while back and a month before that.

And yet the price is going down a little bit : 607$ on Bitstamp atm

It looks like a really good time to buy bitcoins
1647  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats your best strategy on Dice game ? on: June 12, 2014, 08:01:57 PM
Best strategy is this one!

1.Never gamble more than you can lose!
2.Never get greedy!
3.Set yourself a small goal!(let's win 0.02BTC)
4.After you win stop gambling!
5.Cash-out!

Does it work for me?
Hell YES! Until I get at number 4 and lose everything!

Setting a goal can also drag you down. Like dooown.

Well the thing with gamling is, when you win you want more.
And when you lose you want your money back.
Its always(most of the time) a lose situation in the end.
learn to end with some proper earnings or learn to end when u lost some.
Gambling is all about patience and not being greedy.

I have not had any luck in the dice game,
often lost patience and that is what makes losing.
My advice when you are just starting to play, play casually, and when it was getting the first stop, and continue tomorrow when you're good mood

Patiente don't increase your chance of winning, it can change when you lose or the amount of time you play and losing patiente don't make you lose either, the mathematical edge of the casino does

1649  Economy / Services / Re: How much is my signature space really worth? on: June 12, 2014, 07:56:47 PM
Hi.

With a simple calculate, if you want to earn 2.4 BTC every month, you must to do this:

f you're 16hr connected on 24h, you don't have any problem, why?

you must to write 2400 message for 30 day, more or less 1 post every 12 min !

You can do more than 1 post every 12minutes; you can write 1post every 5minutes

If you live in a first world country you won't beat what you can earn working
1650  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: My buddy is getting a divorce. Can the court seize half of his bitcoins? on: June 12, 2014, 07:55:32 PM
'I swear your honor...I lost my private key!'
...
No problem, your ex-wife's attorney will also take a check.  Grin

These guys who get mad about being fleeced in a divorce seem to be forgetting that they signed a contract. If you agree to a shitty contract then you are to blame, not the counter-party.

It's not surprising guys are reluctant to get married when you see that it seems like a bad economical deal for them
1651  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: June 12, 2014, 07:54:24 PM
Not offering to buy someone a pizza in exchange for 10,000 BTC.

It is too bad we don't know what happened to the guy who got the 10,000BTC and if he sold the BTC
1652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Expedia Now Accepts Cryptocurrency for Hotel Bookings on: June 12, 2014, 07:53:03 PM
That's pretty awesome if you can rent a hotel room via bitcoin now. We just need more people using it daily but what's the point in trading ur used to bitcoin needs to be more publicly known benifits

You could already booked an hotel room with bitcoins but now you have a new easy way to do it

You can earn bitcoins by renting an hotel room on pointshound (not affiliated, used it twice and got my two bitcoin payments)
1653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: June 12, 2014, 07:51:45 PM
Not really thought about what I would do if money profits of Bitcoin, you gave me my dream theme night Tongue

You will find a way to spend your bitcoins believe me Grin

It is a problem you want to have
1654  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 12, 2014, 07:50:28 PM
all time recent low!

 Shocked

Was it a bull trap, is it a bear trap, are you going to go to 550$??

I would be very surprised to see the price go much lower without any bad news
1655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: June 12, 2014, 07:46:55 PM
well damn, there goes my bet that JD will make 600BTC profit this month

Not necessarily.

He could come back and lose it all.

It wouldn't be the first time a Martingale player thought they were invincible (and were wrong).

And it wouldn't be the last as well

He got a nice run, he must have felt pretty good at the end of his play; he was risking about 100BTC and won 100BTC
1656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : Invest in 1% House Edge Dice Game on: June 12, 2014, 05:51:00 PM
I wonder if I qualify, I don't have access to my account atm

Any way to know without connecting to my account?
1657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : Play or Invest : 1% House Edge : Banter++ on: June 12, 2014, 05:50:18 PM
June 20th marks the 1st birthday for Just-Dice.

To celebrate we're having a 2 BTC poker freeroll at SealsWithClubs for Just-Dice regulars old and new.

Log in to your regular account, and type /poker in the chat box to see if you qualify for a free ticket.

There's also a 0.5 bounty on the head of both doog and Deb - knock either of them out to claim your 0.5 BTC prize.

6pm PST | 9pm EST | 2am GMT | 3am CET

For chat moderators of both DD and JD there's a 2nd freeroll an hour later, with another 2 BTC prize pool and two more 0.5 BTC bounties.

See you there!  Smiley

Too bad I don't play poker. Maybe some game related to JD would be more appropriate for birthday? May I suggest something like "first user to win 1% bet after the birthday timestamp wins ..." something?

I like the idea; why not a 5-6 different give aways :
-First user to win 1% bet
-First 10 real money bets of 0.1 or more after the birthday timestamp get 0.2BTC bonus
ect.
1658  Economy / Services / Re: How much is my signature space really worth? on: June 12, 2014, 05:46:55 PM
I am in the second month of the PD-Sig-campaign.
It is nice to make some Money out of something I enjoy: being part of discussions in Forums, but I never thought about actually making "serious" money out of it. I think, that is just retarded. Either you have that much to say, that you will get some nice BTC out of it or you don't. You can not really force it without either getting pretty frustrated or being detected as a spammer.

(Yay, I earned another whatevertheamountisIgetperpost)

I think it is nice to get some "free" money to accumulate a few BTC or to gamble for those who like it

If you make 0.2-0.4/month and you save it, you will have 3.6BTC after one year which is a nice sum to add to your BTC holdings

It's about 40% but most people actually assume that a million trials of an event that has a probability of 1/1,000,000 of happening has 90% chance of seeing that event

Thank you for commenting. When guessing at his probability of winning, dooglus used P=1/50.5%^28 which I said is about 40%. A better estimate for 50% is P*ln(2)/49.5%.

Yes I read the article, it was interesting; did you write any other articles or can you tell us if you are a gambler or casino investor?
