Is Solidcoin 4 ready for the downfall of MicroCash ?

...just wondering, as I haven't been made aware of any new developments lately from that camp and the Solidcoin prices at the exchanges seem to be tanking, while the hash rates on the Litecoin Network seem to be rising, with Bitcoin's hash rate also rising....which in turn leads me to believe that some might be jumping ship.

Any new NEWS from over there ?
I found out something about Microcash. In an IRC Chat with RealSolid,he claims that it's near completion and when I asked him when it'll be out,he replied 'when the time is right'. I did a beta test of the client he offered me and I found it was freezing and when I asked him if he knew anything about it,he told me it's because 'slc24 stopped their api' or something.Maybe this'll be of use to you.

So his client was dependent upon another site/entity/exchange?

LOL fail... Grin Grin Grin

I still support bitcoin, just I think having a choice between coke and pepsi or myspace and facebook is a good thing ultimately.

16469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Litecoin Price on: July 09, 2012, 01:41:25 AM
I think we're going to see a lot of .005-.01 for a while.  It may even fall lower after the difficulty compensates for the price increase and everyone tries to make a profit.  Running reaper greatly increases my temps and power consumption.  With LTC being as profitable as it currently is, I don't think we can expect it to be more profitable in the short term.

When ASICs reach consumers, I think it will be a different story.  All those old GPUs are going to need new homes, and Litecoin will need to be profitable for all those GPUs when the difficulty skyrockets to G/hashes.  I picked .05

I agree....short term profit....then norma prices....then when ASICS come online....another price/diff increase in the mix

16474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solidcoin Faucet Open on: July 08, 2012, 09:26:24 PM
Sorry, I was really tired when I wrote that post and the grammar was dreadful. I have not got a comment on the faucet to payout to, did you delete it?

I have noticed that the Solidcoin forum is not very active, if at all and I am wondering if this venture is worth it?

Take a stroll into the past of this subforum and look at some of the posts from "Coinhunter" the "founder and developer" of solidcoin. You may change your mind on wanting to get involved with that crew of people. They are the laughing stock of this forum and also have been labelled as SC sockies/puppets/etc.

16476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: litecoinpool.org is far over 51 % of the network-hashrate on: July 08, 2012, 01:39:51 PM
i don't think it's a big problem, because pooler is a very honest guy.

But it isn't very healthy, when 1 pool has more then 51 %.

Edit: yeah, i mine at litecoinpool.org, but ~ half of my hashrate is located at coinotron.com

go solo bro

16478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL] -- Coinotron - BTC, SC, LTC, LQC - DGM in BTC pool on: July 08, 2012, 12:13:20 PM
Pool has been fixed to support all Reaper versions.

Latest Reaper 13 beta 4 is sending requests which are being rejected by pool with info: Error 400 Bad request (invalid header)
Those requests have got multiple User-agent headers. This behavior is is not compliant with W3C and server automatically rejected them. I had to find workaround.

Bottom line is you can mine litecoins using latest Reaper now.

Wow haven't heard about nor heard from coinotron in like 10 months.

Litecoin revived that? nice...
