Buy back is a strategy to create scarcity thereby increasing the price of the token. You talk about why are they not buying back the token they sold from the hunters but with the present situation about crypto market, how many ICO do you know that reach the hardcap. Even the minimum investment needed (Soft cap), many are still struggling to reach it and this is the reason why you see most ico running for 2to 3 months before they end says. The point is that the market is not favourable. ICO are not making alot of contribution like ever before. if they can not get money to develop the project, how will they get money to buy sold token

I participated in the cryptassist ICO a few months ago, and I chose this out of the many projects I could have done the ICO, but still no listing.
This is because of the market, but I strongly believe that if the project is good enough, the team should not be scared of listing
Listing of the token is a definitely important event but of course the team should not be scared of listing on any market cycle if they are strong. But there are a lot of projects still didn't not release their tokes and din't list on exchanges, Origo for example... it is not good i think and if you conduct your ico on bearish market then you must be pretty strong to come out on the same market. Many of them are not scare of listing but the reason why they have not listed their token is that they couldn't raise enough to complete the project not to talk of listing. I have seen a hardworking team like Gymreward that raise less than 10 ETH during initial coin offering. If such project is own by you, you will not consider listing even though you have giving bounty hunters token with an equivalent price greater than what you have realized in ICO. Such a project will die a natural death if listed. Ones the market is fully booming and those project see great prospect in term of development then they will surely list token in good exchanges. |

You have answered your question yourself. Yes, it is because of the market. Many of them are fearing of their token getting dump by hunters like you which might kill the project and sometimes the reason for not listing is because that is not the next thing according to their roadmap. Many ICO has already stated issue regarding listing in their whitepaper but since you will not read then you keep on thinking why they have not listed the coin. Finally, many projects want to get listed on top rank exchange platform in order to build up the volume but due to little money raise in ICO they will not be able to list the token

Regulation is good but the problem is that if the process fall into the hand of regulators who do not like crypto because of their selfish interest then the outcome will be very bad. If crypto want to be regulated it must be done by people that understand well what it is and how much potential the crypto can have in term of benefit most especially to some third world countries. regulating crypto will reduce problem associated with scam and AML. It will also bring more investors to the market because it will remove the fear associated with investing in bitcoin and above all issue of market manipulation will reduce.

yes, it is possible the reason why many blockchain introduce a token (that you call cryptocurrencies) is to provide a means through which users of such platform pay for using the services (transaction charges, mining etc). for a private financial institution that wants to improve on managing and store a large amount of data. they may not need to create crypto but in case they need some external agent (such as miner) to keep the platform running then they will need to provide a way of incentivizing them and such is what happened in cases of some coin that are created by blockchain that is used for financial activities

I do not understand well what you mean by STOP. if you mean to quitting the development of blockchain platform I will say no. when you study very well you will realize blockchain developer focus on development of new blockchain with consensus algorithm that improves the existing blockchain. Also, many new blockchain is developed to suit a particular or group of industry. E.g Smilo is focusing on developing hybrid blockchain that allows the creation of both public and private smart contract. a private blockchain will help industry like a medical sector that wants to maintain anonymities with patient medical history.

We are all here to learn lesson and this is one of the important one we will all learn from.I have heard a lot of comment about Crypto of thing (CoT) and when you check background info about this people making such info, they have no deep knowledge about the crypto. all what they want to see is crypto going down. This is a pure FUD. everyday people sell and buy crypto and for someone to make this statement it means it doesnt know what he is saying. if the people that buy at $1000 are selling, they make gain and if they keep their coin, they have not lose anything because bitcoin is still well above $1000 and I do not think we shall see bitcoin go below $1000 again.
