Wow! Hope things get better for you!

I have no Internet until the end of the week as I've now moved house!

I feel like this is a log of major events that are preventing me finishing the legal enquiries.

So I'll be sorting the document and contacting the lawyers probably next week. Will let you guys know more as soon as I do.

Spreadsheet is locked.
1664  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: T13hydra - Thread Locked, Unofficial Disscusion on: February 27, 2014, 11:05:48 AM
Thanks, the majority have contacted and provided data, I'm looking into another specialist solicitor soon. May be more appropriate.

Apologies to those that I haven't replied to yet, when I get a spare couple of hours I will wrap up the collation and then proceed to get quotes and opinions from lawyers.

Pretty much all the info in the title. New and opened but has not been used.

Reason for selling: excess to requirements

Rep thread (I've done a bunch of trades already on the forum):
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=237581.0

Make me a reasonable offer either through the thread or message. I'll try and get back to you before the night is out.

Open to bank transfer, paypal, and ant crypto. But if you want to pay in something silly like penguincoin I'll expect a percentage markup.

Postage should only be around £10. More if you would like next day ect...

I still can't help feeling that gox's bankruptcy is imminent

It will be interesting to see how this all plays out. I think there is a chance they will shamble along just about functioning for a while yet.

any possible way to recover balance in a overwritten wallet?
(I have my old address, and payout transactions from some mining pool to verify)

I did a pc migration, I ran the windows 'easy transfer tool' and it screwed my memory coin wallet.

- Can a dev send my lost balance (with proof that I mined using that payout address?)

or am I sol?

It's a long shot, have you tried using any file recovery software?

Okay, so I've collated all the pdfs, images and correspondence. It's a bit of a frankenstein but should be good for reference. Took a while, but now I'm going to enjoy my last day off for a long time before I start packing again. It's too early to have a glass of wine, so I guess I'll settle for beetroot juice!

I've got a good workflow going so new additions should be very easy to add to the current document. Due to some sensitive information in the pdf I don't think it would be appropriate to share the PDF unless I get everyone's permission. If everyone agrees to that I will, but I see no point in doing that currently.

I've emailed some people that had not provided what was needed. Those in green on the spreadsheet have been added to the document. I'm sure there are more people willing to get involved, so I'm going to shoot off a group message to those who have not emailed yet to check this thread.

Also, reading through the correspondence, I'm beginning to wonder a lot more how much we will be able to get back. I think at the very least we should claw back something if possible. As I said I will at the very least initiate civil action myself.

I should be on the forums on and off, but today is probably the most active I'll be for a while. To reiterate I'll be locking the spreadsheet at the end of the month as we don't have time to keep waiting around for the laggards.

Cheers.

If you have filled the spreadsheet in and want to be involved in any legal action you will need to email the address on there with the specified information
1675  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: T13hydra - Thread Locked, Unofficial Disscusion on: February 21, 2014, 08:25:05 AM
A few emails are trickling through, which is great. If I have time this weekend or perhaps today I will collate the all info we do have in preparation for the cutoff of submissions. Which comes to around 10 or so emails off the top of my head.

Please note that if you have not emailed the address on the spreadsheet I will only make cursory additions to the information submitted to the lawyers as they will require full names and addresses of those that wish to be recompensated. There is also the chance we will have to create a legal entity (a limited company) to go forward and wrap up all our claims into, but more on this when I have received communication from the lawyers.

Sorry to repeat myself, but after this weekend I'm going to be crazy busy with moving and final wedding plans so after the information is collated and submitted I may be missing in action for a couple of weeks to a month, but I should be able to check in on the thread from time to time. On a personal note I'm driving for close to 4 hours a day right now during the week due to my work. So I have not forgot about this and I'm still really looking forward with going ahead with some form of litigation.
Moving and wedding, probably the two most stressful moments in life. Good luck with the both, hope all goes smooth for you.  Smiley

Thanks! Moving is just time consuming, I've moved about probably a dozen times since 2007 so I'm pretty used to it. The wedding is pretty much done too, just more time we don't have right now!

1678  Economy / Computer hardware / [SOLD] Asus Maximus Extreme Motherboard Watercooled + Intel CPU + RAM on: February 18, 2014, 03:53:26 PM
This is a water-cooled motherboard (asus maximus extreme / roc edition) + Intel quad core Q9300. It would be perfect for anyone wanting to set up a nice little rig. Selling as I've finished one watercooled project and don't have time to start another currently.

I also have some RAM that works air cooled but is water cooled ready if you would like that as well (OCZ DDR3 4GB).

Comes with all the cables (SATA, USB, temperature ect..), tubing and tube connectors seen in the pictures, along with the optional CPU fan, though I believe a separate heatsink is needed to air cool the CPU. Also comes with original packaging and manuals.

Perfect for someone wanting to start out with watercooling or an experienced overclocker looking for a bargain.

It's in great condition and hasn't been used very much, some of the fins on one of the heat sinks are a tiny bit bent, but this does not affect it's use. Some of the on/off/reset pins are a little wonky, but simply need to be coaxed back into alignment and they are not loose.

Will accept cash, bank transfer, paypal or pretty much any cryptocurrency. BTC, LTC, DOGE, UNO or 42 preferred, but I'm open to any as I said.

Looking for a no hassle sale, so I can meet in Cambridge, Royston, Central London and Enfield depending on the time. Can also package it up securely and post via Royal Mail or Courier.

Looking for £50 + postage, the RAM will be extra which we can discuss.

Thanks!

So this thread is about a bunch of Bitcoin old timers who have got stuck with thousands of BTC in Gox trying to unload the coins on someone else in Gox that is willing to bear the risk???

So old time coiners trying to dupe new blood into taking on their dead coin balance in Bitcoin, did i get that right?

This thread somehow is creepy to me.

I'm no old timer, but certainly no noob, and I've made use of this thread to trade some of my relatively minor holdings on gox. There seems to be people willing to take on the risk at gox, which is great for those of us that just want out. What does it matter that they have many on there? This is free trade- there are no dupes I've seen so far. I was a dupe for leaving coin on Gox though.
