I think large mining operations are fcked with rising diff
With mostly the overhead costs
Owner/manufacturers like Bitfury, Knc, and Bitmain lose less because they can get the equipment at pretty much the lowest cost.
There's also the electricity costs. These things are not running on air. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I know what you're saying. People need to really think outside of the box. Don't listen to the media. What does your gut tell you about Bitcoin?..I have become successful in many areas of my life through spiritual guidance and mediation. It's not a bloodbath. The price is being pushed down on purpose by a someone or a group of people. They are making It more affordable for everyday people to hop on board. With the Russian ruble collapse and the world on the brink of another war. There is no better time for Bitcoin. Bitcoin is here for a reason. There are much larger forces at work here. We are all apart of the forum because we were guided here by our destiny. For some reason we are more aware of things than everyday people. So in turn I believe we will be very wealthy in the coming years. There are only a handfull of people who will get rich off of Bitcoin. But that wealth will help re stimulate growth into a stale united states economy and help propell us into a new Era much like the Internet did. Most people won't buy into bitcoin until it's too late to get rich. Because they are still stuck in the Matrix to some extent. Stay calm my friends and meditate.
Holy shit. Yes. FUCK yes! I agree! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Insiders learning of Bistamp's issues before the rest of us helps explain the crash. I hope it's true for different reasons. Maybe someone from the regulation crew finally understands that EVERY transaction should be posted on the ledger and start an investigation about ''database transactions'' and ''fake fiat/btcs''. Enough is enough with this gox stuff. If you want bitcoins try localbitcoins or try mining. Otherwise, ALL exchanges must fix a transparent way to do their transactions.

What is it exactly, that drives the price down?
What about everyone who said more adoption will lead to a price increase. I guess that's not the way it is.

it is always the same. i am so deeply sucked into bitcoin (very delusional perma bull i guess) that whenever we go over a cliff like today i think: "thaaaat´s it, finally. i will get out. i cannot take this anymore." of course i can´t sell right into the panic, so i promise myself i will sell them all once it has bounced back to a level that once looked so boring (but now looks so shiny). but when it climbs back up, i keep forgetting my despair and then - of course i never never sell once it has reached more comfortable levels. i know this and i still cannot escape. hope seems to be stronger than fear. it feels fucking bad to lose money. but in my case it seems to feel 10 times worse to lose btc. i will end up with lots of worthless btc i guess. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Cold wallets are the medicine against panic moves... I have to wait about half an hour just to copy mine into the computer... let along sync it... ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

God..... Are you there.....? Its me God.... All I ask is for the Bitcoin to go to 400.......... I don't think that is too much to ask for. Heck, I would be ok if it was just two bots manipulating the price. I bought 80 BTC at 500$. I refuse to sell until it hits 350-400$ So does that mean unintentionally I am going to be a permabull with bearish intentions. Come on lucky dice. I need you now
WTF? Lamby? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

A little perspective from looking back at the crashes of the past.
At least this time we don't have one single point of failure like when gox halted trading in the crash from 266 to what? 70?
At least this time trades are getting filled and people are getting what they want. You want to sell? Sure! Plenty of liquidity at these prices. You want to buy? No problem! A veritable flood of sellers.
I wonder if these high volume events are just an indication of price discovery at work. We may need to get used to sub 300 because there seems to be plenty of liquidity on either side of this price.
285 to 275 sideways range for next couple weeks would suit me just fine.
I don't know how you people make money with crashing prices. I have to learn how to trade this year ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) Easy. Buy high, sell low. Piece of cake ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)
