Winklevoss twins speaking about Bitcoin at SXSW tomorrow in Texas, surprised no one has mentioned this. I didn't even know about it until my wife told me that she's going to watch.

I assumed that most people here also read the /r/bitcoinmarkets daily trading thread. Anyways we had some discussion on this yesterday:

http://www.reddit.com/r/BitcoinMarkets/comments/2z3b2d/daily_discussion_sunday_march_15_2015/cpfgylz

There are a lot of skeptics that this alone will be the spark to lead to the next rally (I'm talking about their exchange). It's an overestimated aspect if you want my opinion. Besides there were a lot of other bullish news that the market didn't even care for. The ETF on the other hand...  Roll Eyes
1342  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1.3 TH] DeepBit.net PPS+Prop, instant payouts, we pay for INVALID BLOCKS too on: March 16, 2015, 06:18:26 AM
You're not serious are you? How exactly did you do that? Couldn't you withdraw the amount? From what I know only smaller than 0.1 were non-withdrawable (left some there myself - but don't really care) but 8.78??!! Huh Huh

Oh, I have no excuses.  It was good old fashioned negligence.  I had a good run with the GPU's I was using in my rigs (this was back when that was still a thing), but they were going the natural death of all GPUs, and summer was heating up.  Also, the switch to ASICs was just beginning, which I didn't care to invest in, and in a technical sense the pools were all so big that I didn't think I was *needed*.

So I quit mining, and completely forgot that I had the pool set to autopay to wallet at 10 BTC.  Days ago, in a bit of a pinch, I thought to myself "You know, I could have sworn I had half a btc on one of these drives..."  Actually, I had 28.78, with 20 linked to a single wallet.dat!

Anyway, I set the automatic payment threshold to just a tiny bit below my current balance, and waited.  Nothing after about a day.  Pressing instant payout gives me a "please_wait!" error.
I sent them an email, also.  Nothing yet, but I'll certainly give him a little while to notice the situation.  I'm quite sure deep is still around, albeit on another alias.

I'm sure you're aware that this amount is something that you may regret a lot more that you didn't withdraw after a year or so (even earlier)... Anyway. We've all something to blame ourselves. I left a few BTCs in my Gox account hoping (!) it will be back in the future. I learned the hard way, I guess. Sad

we all support Gcoin but what is the problem with referal links Smiley

the only problem we should have here is with the trolls Smiley

There are only two posts out of seven without an askcoin referral link on this page. There's noting wrong with them, but its strange to see so many identical sigs.

We were on the same campaign before (AMhash) that ended without paying anything. That's why 3 of us ended up with Askcoin's one. Besides Askcoin is one of the 1st supporters of GCoin. Would it make a difference if it is, or not, a coincidence?  Smiley

At least you didn't carelessly leave 8.78 BTC on there.  $2,700 is, like, a whole dang paycheck.  Enough for more than a casual glance.

Anyone heard from Deep, lately?  No?  Do you think it would be more practical to inquire in the ICBit/Orderbook.net circles?  As I understand it, that was deep's next project.

Yep. It seems we're in for a hot week. Let's hope we pump to the next leg up. I support the slow CCMF, but wouldn't mind for a huge pump up... Smiley

^^
Interesting theory. What's even more interesting though is that the process has been stalled for quite sometime now. No announcements, no assurances, no explanation whatsoever. The most significant part of the story so far is, that ONE YEAR LATER nobody can say for sure, WTF happened. Period. Roll Eyes

So, the total number of coins aren't effective.. Mmm bad thing

No, the total number of coins are effective to the fullest. The gained ones into the temporary GAME wallet (ie: the ones you look at when you play the slots, for example) are not. They are "real" coins when they're withdrawn into the wallet of your android device. From there you can use them anyway you like.

May I suggest an idea? It just came to me while playing the games today. Add a market button from where you can advertise the http://www.worldofelectronics.ie stuff. This can also be used as a 1-click buy if the user is registered to the shop and the game simultaneously. This way you can promote the shop's deals also as the games itself. I'm not an android dev but I think it won't be so hard to implement (most of the work will be done via a browser window).

Cheers.

BTW: I still have had a problem withdrawing from slots - a friend of mine suggested to uninstall / reinstall and it got fixed, but 18M coins got vanished Sad
I think that your idea is good!
Greg, a question, all the coins that macsga (or other players) has won, where go if they unistall and reinstall the app? Are them gone for ever??

Matt, I think they're only in the temp wallet (internal game wallet) so when you uninstall/reinstall everything is gone forever. The funny thing is that when I tried to Cash-In from the app-wallet to the game, it worked fine! The other way around was impossible! Sad I thought it was because of lack of funds, but then again, when I reinstalled it and gained some more then I was able to withdraw without a problem...

I'm a bit confused.  Huh

1350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX] MaxCoin - Alive and Kickin' on: March 14, 2015, 10:37:34 PM
A bit of tech stuff here. Keccak is one of the most unique algos out there with Cryptonote (XMR etc) being the top class among the altcoins. If you have older h/w (it's very possible if you belong to the 1st/2nd gen miners) most possible you'd want to mine for a good alt coin. Unfortunately, if you'd choose Cryptonote your Ati card was out of luck (Nvidia is king here) so you end up with... Keccak.

Up until a certain point, mining for MAX was a nice way to make a buck (if you had the ability to mine with cheap electricity) or even hold your stash for future use and hope for the better. Well, it got a bit ugly later, and "the better" never came. At this price mining for MAX is not profitable and the only way to do so is, either because you have inside info that "MAX 2 DA MOON" etc or, you "just have that gut feeling".

Personally, I don't expect a lot from MAX. Not until a better wallet comes out, more exchanges are involved, or something else -pretty significant- happens.

Just my 0.00000002BTC
1351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XMR] Monero Client .NET - A graphical account manager made for Windows on: March 14, 2015, 12:31:25 PM
Greetings everyone!

I'm delighted to announce that I've been working on a cross-platform GUI in the past few weeks. Hopefully, I can complete the feature set as soon as possible, and release a new client which is written from scratch.

Excellent news!

If it wasn't for this client, most people I know they wouldn't have been messed with XMR. Keep up the good work Jojatekok. Smiley
1352  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 13, 2015, 12:44:08 PM
Based on my time here roughly 99% of people posting charts have literally no idea what they are doing & it's more often than not just what they want to happen.
They then go ahead & make a bull shit chart to try & convince themselves it'll happen.

Who are the successful/professional traders here?
I'd like to interview a few for a series. Obviously 'I once made $100 in a bubble' doesn't count.
TERA, but he's not around anymore.

How do you know he or she was successfull trader?? I remember she or he was wrong many times, which i believe is the reason why she or he is not posting anymore

There is no such thing as a "successful" trader. There are traders who may go well one day and bad at another. Whoever claims for his/her error-less abilities he/she may as well claim the title of the bigger liar as well. I personally suck at trading. I must classify myself to the worst trader around; that's why I'm a perma-hodler ever since. Smiley

This week, the desperate little guy has been buying, while the big traders are just holding back and waiting for the inevitable drop.
These little attempts to break 300 were as weak as they come. You could almost hear the huffing and puffing of bartenders and cab drivers around the world, who are trying to lift something that is clearly heavier then they can handle.
Maybe a white knight will arrive in the nick of time, and will start buying up all those coins needed to overcome 300$? Who knows.. I highly doubt that it will happen though.

Pretty poetic post, but I must agree with Yoda. Cuz bitcoin. Tongue

Good morning Gentlemen!

It's this time of the season where the price remains stable and the posts stall. I think I'm gonna get some sleep. Maybe tomorrow we go CCMF cuz LambTroll will go all in. Grin

Are you guys super excited now that a miner is about to pull the trigger?

I'm a miner too. I make 0.014 per day. I'm gonna crash the price.

that's.....5.88....trillion? not too absurd imo

Draghi could print that in a good weekend, to buy shit bonds from douchebag banks.

Greg is a dedicated dev and the coin has a pretty nice potential. What's needed IMHO is (and I know you're tired to read it so often) LACK OF SUPPLY! This is a very good step towards a great future.

Good job Greg!

Hi, everyone!

Are you able to cash out from Bikes today?

Nope. Not since yesterday. Both android apps say "Try it later", or "Servers Unavailable". Patience, Greg is working on it.

I haven't had a successful cashout in a couple of months... what's another week or so, right?

Try updating both apps. This may fix the problem for lightbikes (tried it just now - seems cashout is working again), but you will probably lose what you have in the game wallet (ie: what you've gained).
