1681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: May 24, 2020, 05:42:03 PM
Jordan didn't really lied about being forced to retire. He just said he wants to work with Phil Jackson and Phil knew that Jerry Krause didn't want him at all, so that would mean that Phil would come back (which he had chance to) in spite of Jerry Krause not wanting him there and when your GM hates you, your job as Head Coach will be very difficult, hell you could even get fired for not being even above average let alone be bad.

Moreover, even if Phil agreed to come back and even if Jordan agreed to come back, you had a trouble of Pippen, how could you pay him the money he deserves when there is this HUGE contract of Jordan that covers most of the cap anyway. So, Pippen would have been asked to just play for one year for a future profit and we saw that in 98 that wasn't something he liked.
1682  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun - PROVABLY FAIR Blackjack Accepts Dash/Bitcoin/Litecoin on: May 24, 2020, 03:20:35 PM
To become the most trusted, most honest, coolest looking, interactive blackjack on the market. Way to this goal is hard but we accept the challenge.

Way to go if you want to compare the site with other bitcoin casino around here but in term of most unique then the site is way ahead for now. There isnt other site that focus solely on blackjack yet as blackjack is probably niche around here compared to dice and crash game  Wink
I agree on the unique part, if it is about blackjacks this website is number one, there is no competition even close to it right now. Of course we are still sort of early days of crypto casino, in 20-30 years this could become the standard of gambling online so I do not really feel like we are even half way there yet.

However even if one day competition comes, we all know that blackjack took the first step and they will be ahead of all of them as long as they continue to improve like this. Look at bitcoin, do you really think that bitcoin has the best blockchain? Not at all, many coins improved a ton on top of it, yet bitcoin is still number one, why? Because, it was the first one. I see that kind of future for blackjack.fun and the future of online gambling.
I think picking just one game and focusing on that could very well provide a great upside for the website, not saying it is the smartest decision because I am not a casino owner and I wouldn't know the first thing about running a business like this, but we can say that there are tons of places that made one thing and became very good at it.

Look at bustabit for example, those guys have just one thing and they are doing it very good (saying their name because they are not competition since its different game) which means you can be great with just one game. And I am sorry to hear that you guys are nowhere near in plus, but I am sure as long as you guys keep going strong like this, eventually one day you will be in plus, of course its a costly business but when you reach to a point where you do not spend on anymore new stuff and only have regular upkeep costs, you will start to make profits to cover the costs.

One thing about freebitcoin that hasn't really changed too much ever since the first days has been the steady free income you could make from this place.

Everyone back in the day said similar stuff about how "getting couple cents per hour makes no sense" and so forth and didn't focused on this place and if they worked 10 times a day (takes 10 hours but it is just one click per hour so it is not even work) you would have saved so much bitcoin that at the peak of 20k it would have worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Of course that requires a lot of stuff like having a self control to not sell right away, also keep working all the time for a future profit and all of that. However it still works today, go work 10 times a day everyday all day and you are going to end up with tons of money when bitcoin will worth over 100k one day, it may not be anytime soon but in 10-20 years who knows? This could be your retirement fund.
1684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 23, 2020, 07:37:21 PM
It was already obvious for paderborn to relegate, they are literally 10 points behind the relegation zone, so I think it was already decided way before the pandemic started. However even with that in mind, they managed to get 1 points out of the game and they played pretty well too interestingly.

I still think the league is basically decided at the top and bottom though, nothing changed in my mind. Bayern will be champions, dortmund will be second, gladbach and liepzig will fight for 3rd while other one is 4th. At the bottom paderborn will relegate, so will werder bremen, dusseldorf is in big trouble. All of these are basically all set in my mind and I doubt it would change at all, there has to be some big major changes in teams to make that happen and I doubt it will happen now.
1685  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to buy - question to Hodlers on: May 23, 2020, 06:47:53 PM
I am long-term investor, and I invest when I have money! Once a month from my salary, or once in two months,
depending on bonuses on my salary and expenses for current month for family and house.
In few years when prices go up few dollars up and down will not make a huge difference in my opinion. And I
believe that will happen in few years. I started around two years ago and I think I need to hold at least 5 more years.
You can buy basically at any time, the results may vary of course but buying at every moment works wonders if you ask me. Bitcoin is a currency that is against fiat and fiat constantly loses value, look at USA right now, they have printed 2 trillion dollars, they are printing 2.2 trillion more and all of that combined makes dollars lose value as well, yet at the end of the day bitcoin gains value so to me that is awesome. I live in a country where dollar gains value as well, so to me, I am making even more and more.

Buy bitcoin right now, buy it a month later, buy it one year later, doesn't matter where you buy it. The real thing is, when will you sell it, that is the real question, if you sell it at profit that is awesome, if you can't wait and panic and sell, that is the real trouble.
1686  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people run away from trading!!! on: May 23, 2020, 05:57:36 PM
Lack Of Proper Trading Education
A wise man once said " Lack of education causes lack of progress which in turn causes lack of motivation". Most new traders have a common believe that the trading market is a Fast Money Producing market which is very wrong. Instead of learning the basics of trading and develop a reliable trading skill they settle for Signal groups or end up investing in a scam so called (money multipler groups).
In some cases I don't think that it has to do with lack of proper education. I think anyone that wants to learn about trading will always find articles that talks about it, they are everywhere and a search on Google will bring them all up, so that's not really a problem these days. The main problem is that some of them no matter how much they learn it, they still won't understand it. Some of them spend time learning technical analysis and after all that, they still don't get it and end up losing when they try to trade. It can be very frustrating in this case. And some of them don't have patience, and they don't know how to manage their risks.

If we keenly notice that trading requires something more than just education; it might be proper experiences and utilizing it at right times. Because, most traders are good in learning process but too poor while applying it in markets and the same applicable for their experiences as well.
1687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: List of bounty projects that end in a scam or void bounty agreement on: May 22, 2020, 06:33:17 PM
I doubt that blockburn is going to matter in June because I'm pretty sure they will evade the bounty distribution again, whenever this type of trust less arose in any bounty project I ignore such project as if I never joined the bounty campaign, Cartesi did a very good job today but keeping their promise, all bounty hunters received their tokens successful
I don't know much about blockburn but I can tell you guys if a team is not delivering on their promise that they made you, there is no reason why you shouldn't think of it as scam.

Even if they end up paying you in June, that is still scam, the scam is not getting your work or money and not paying you, the scam is getting your work or money and not delivering on time and instead postponing it. And that is even if they do end up paying, it is still a scam but a smaller scam, this way if they do not pay its even a bigger scam. Hence at the end of the day, if a team broker's one promise, they could break another, this is literally why I trust decentralized coins, like bitcoin and ethereum, if a coin has ownership, that ownership could do whatever they want and you can't do anything about it.
1688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT trusted to use? on: May 22, 2020, 05:05:01 PM
I wouldn't trust it myself, many many people trust it and it has over 3 billion dollars in valuation so maybe I am wrong. Think of it this way, there is a stable currency that will not move in value, you are going to own what you own and that's it, nothing more nothing less, so there is no risk involved. You can use it to buy, sell, send, receive any way you want and its pegged to worlds strongest currency. You can trade it because it has as many pairs as bitcoin nowadays. Those are all great parts.

The bad part is, its owned by people, its controlled by people, its just bunch of humans who have the total power over all of it. That doesn't mean they are bad people, I don't know them, I don't even know who they are. But I am just not willing to risk it.
1689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the best time on: May 22, 2020, 03:47:34 PM
You have to consider what could happen after this period ends as well. We are all thinking like economy is in big recovery and everything will be better, but looking at the world I do not see a path to recovery just yet. By stats and numbers it looks like we are not doing that bad, but in reality we are actually not doing that well at all.

Just to give an example (all of this is made up) if there are 100k people who lost 10k dollars that makes 100k people very poor and that country 1 billion poorer right?

However, if some company suddenly has a surge in stock price and has 10 billion more value, people react like the economy recovered 9 billion dollars total. That is why stats are quite wrong and could make you believe something that is not correct.

I just want to know your opinions to these 2 questions:
1. How does cryptocurrency help you in your daily lives?
2. How long have you been into cryptocurrency and how does it changed your life since then?
3. How did you know cryptocurreny?
Bitcoin is helping in lots of ways, especially with my weekly transactions. I have been into Bitcoin for over five years now and when I got into it I was able to study and learn a lot about it. Then I came across my first job and it was about cryptocurrency, that has been the job I'm doing till now and it has really helped my life a lot. I have also been able to do a lot with Bitcoin, and I believe there are still a lot more opportunities here that I'm yet to explore, and as time goes on I will get to discover them. I can't really imagine my life now if I was not able to discover this, because it really changed my life.

I learned about the blockchain a long time ago, but it didn't bring me any benefits other than the possibility of making a profit.
Lol, what else possibility you may need? I mean making profits will be more than enough for anyone because you may make use fo that profits for whatever you need or exactly you look for. I guess only 5% of things may get us profits in this world and all others may serve us in other ways (and most others may scam us). Just think about it.
1691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is just a brand name :( on: May 21, 2020, 12:41:57 PM
Lol, I think every currency you see is there because people trust in them. So, that same trust that you have in other currencies is the same that we need in Bitcoin. Bitcoin might not be really special but all we need to do is believe in it and keep making use of it simple because we believe. When we do this, BITCOIN will keep growing and reach a high level. And if you check the background of Bitcoin, what is really holding it all these years, you will notice that it is the community.

Without this community believing in Bitcoin, it would have failed. Yes, there are lots of other cryptocurrencies out there, but because we already have trust in Bitcoin, we decided not to choose those.
1692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto a.k.a. Glenn M. Lilly (mathematician for the NSA) on: May 21, 2020, 10:49:41 AM
You are really making some points, but the truth is that nobody would like to believe that the Bitcoin we so much love and we are using today was invented by the government, and that includes me, I wouldn't like to believe that.

While I was reading this I started calculating a lot of things in my mind and they made it seem true, and others made it seem not to be true. You're right about saying that anyone that creates something as good as this would love to take credit, and that's why there has been a lot of people coming out from nowhere and claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto. And if you check other cryptocurrencies, those that created them are not being kept secret.
1693  Economy / Economics / Re: The End of "USD" as the World's Reserve Currency on: May 20, 2020, 06:03:15 PM
Despite the US being the country with the most cases of Coronavirus, it still doesn't mean that the US dollar is going to fail. A lot of people still believe in the USD and will choose it as their reserve currency over any other currency in the world. I still hold some dollars despite the situation, and to be sincere that's one of the best decisions I made at this time, because the value of my country's currency depreciated during this pandemic. So, imagine that I never chose the dollar as a reserve currency? I would have been losing a lot. So, the USD is still good and it's not going to fall.

I believe it would take more time before USD to be losing the status of world reserve currency. Only rise of some other currency will trigger and NOT just USA's collapse. The current slow down is global and not specific to USA which means USA will remain as top rated in terms of economic strength and may get recovered like any other country. I mean it is too early to think about end of USD's reserve status.
1694  Economy / Economics / Re: How Will the current pandemic affect the crypto market? on: May 20, 2020, 03:54:59 PM
Lol and who said that altcoins were not affected by the pandemic? When the price of Bitcoin fell from $10,000 to a very low of 3k to 4k, a lot of altcoins were also affected, especially those of them that correlate with Bitcoin in price, they even got divided by half. So, don't say that altcoins were not affected by the pandemic, it's just a few that were able to stand.

But despite that Bitcoin was affected by the pandemic, it still recovered within a short time and still shows signs that there is going to be further increase as time goes on. In my opinion, bitcoin somehow managed to defeat the pandemic situations but gold and bitcoins must need to boom when stocks are not performing well. It means we can expect more rapid growth for bitcoins in coming days.
1695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the main purpose in gambling, always to make more money? on: May 19, 2020, 08:24:36 PM
Let's not talk about all gamblers like they are the same, I have talked about before how I do not gamble for money at all, to me gambling is something I have fun with and that's it, I do not see it as anything more. I personally feel like the best thing I could do with gambling would be to win money only to gamble even further, the less I deposit the more I am happy about it but in the end I know that I will gamble all my winnings and lose them, the difference between me gambling and losing versus me gambling and winning is the simple fact that when I win, I end up gambling even more to lose all of that, and that is very cool. But in no way or shape I ever gamble so I could make big profits and withdraw that and spend that, never have I done that before.
1696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Love BLV is looking for a mining pool on: May 19, 2020, 07:27:36 PM
There are dozens of bitcoin forks but this one probably has the cutest name. I do not see any other positive right now regarding this currency, never heard of it before and I wanted to check what it is, and couldn't even find it when I googled it, not on coinmarketcap and not on google. Guess why? Because when you write bitcoin love the results are all about loving bitcoin or love of bitcoin so forth, it is not a fork of bitcoin that google finds.

When you are small enough that bitcoin itself shows up when you write your name, that is basically a good enough reason for me to stay away. I wouldn't even dare to touch it before it has that "when you write the name, the result is itself" level of known, before that it makes no sense to put my money into.
1697  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice on becoming a successful trader on: May 19, 2020, 06:25:25 PM
Everyone asks to get a good response for "how to be a good trader" but there are literally tens of these topics in the last pages alone, more if you go further back. If you want to be a good trader either do not care about what the people here says and go study it from a bit more professional people who literally are professionals of this instead of internet strangers here who you have no idea about. At least if you study from the people who are more professional and have experience you would basically just learn a lot easy.

If you really want to care about people here tho? That means read the other freaking topics with the same freaking name, you don't have to start a topic, there are similar topics opened every single day, no need for another one.
1698  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading. Made 12 BTC profit last month on: May 18, 2020, 09:25:50 PM
It is not really "all scam", it is possible to make money at home if you are a good trader. However if you lost job during this crisis and you are at home and never traded before, you are not going to magically become a good trader by clicking on some ads, that is the true part, there is a 100% fail chance of that.

However if you really want to be indispensable and never lose your job again, just be a freelancer and be hired by bunch of people and have like this whole community behind you that you can drag wherever you want.

You know where the twitch streamers make the most money? You would think the streams right? Or the twitch subscribers? Not at all, I have a friend who has about 600 viewers every stream and he doesn't make even remotely similar to the ads he takes. Dude literally takes on months money from just one ad, and he can do that like 2-3 times a week, so it comes down to 10 times what he makes from the actual job. So, basically have some talents and go into that and show the people your talents, much better compared to trading.
1699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There's something Satoshi didn't think of. on: May 18, 2020, 04:36:02 PM
Well I believe that Satoshi hadn't thought that many would see bitcoin as an investment and not as a coin, and that mining will not be beneficial except if price goes up. But if price goes up then we should all go and by one BTC right now, but if we all go and buy one then price will go down and miners will not afford it. And it seems like a circle to me.
Everything in our life, works in cyclic manner; one triggers other and the last one triggers again the first one. Dependency. One simple example, how gold gets its value or trees are causing more rain and rain supports growth of trees.

I find very likely bitcoin price to get increased over time. But shhh, i don't want anyone to find it out
No, bitcoin has attracted 90% its adopters just because of "investment property". Limited supply and halving are explicit characteristics for anyone to get convinced about its future high value. You know one thing, when bitcoin was listed on an exchange for the first time, it value was decided by the cost required to mine it. So, mining (basically mining difficulties) is there to decide the value of bitcoins. When more people compete to mine bitcoins then bitcoin will value more and this is what has been happening in last 10+ years in bitcoin ecosystem.

Will miners that will mine blocks in the year 2136, be happy with their tiny reward + fees? If they can mine, it means that they will afford the electricity meaning: 1 satoshi will be much more expensive than now.
Yes, one satoshi may value some $10 or even $100 and one more thing we must need to consider here: blocks may accommodate more number of bitcoins hence more fees which may exceed 50 BTC (same to era of the first block rewards) also when summing up.
1700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we would have been nothing without Bitcoin and Bitcoin forum on: May 18, 2020, 02:31:53 PM
I think the last point you made is directed at me lol. Before I started Bitcoin things were not really good for me like it is now, but right now I'm in a better position than I was then. Although back then I was living with my father who later fell ill and died, things were really difficult for me then and I couldn't afford anything. And then I discovered Bitcoin and when I did, I started working hard towards it. It took me some time before things got better.

I was able to raise myself to my current level through what I have been able to get from Bitcoin. And now I'm trying to do other businesses as well and help myself. I honestly owe big thing of my life for bitcoins and I am sure that I will be always grateful to bitcoin in all possible ways.
