1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethurum or ripple on: December 08, 2017, 02:59:41 PM
I want to buy some coins. Which is the better to buy now ethurum or ripple?

I think best one is ethurum. Because  its price rising rapidly  day by day.

it is Ethereum

It increased great this year and I hope for a greater increase in the coming years. The centralized currency ripple doesn't have much support from the people compared to ethereum. Ethereum is a very useful coin and I like making transactions using ethereum because of the low fees. Invest in ethereum and be patient enough, you won't regret it someday.
1682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late for Bitcoin? on: December 08, 2017, 08:16:01 AM
I'm not sure by the end of this year bitcoin will go up, I predict that the end of this year bitcoin will drop at the point of $ 11000. and that's with my analysis.
and about investing in bitcoin these days I do not think it's too late. because the price of bitcoin aka higher, the problem is whether we can afford to buy bitcoin at a high price?

The price may fluctuate downward a little because of the Christmas season, there is a chance that people would dump their coins for cash. This is just a prediction.

But 11000 USD is too low, with the price of bitcoin today, maybe it can go down to 12000 or 13000 USD, but still no one can predict it correctly there are many possible things to happen with the increased volatility of bitcoin.
1683  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC 20K+ on: December 07, 2017, 10:43:28 PM
It will be able to reach 20 000 usd before 2018, I believe that fact, but in return a greater volatility for its price. And in 2018, expect a greater rate of increase for the bitcoin, there is more to come.
1684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who can destroy Bitcoin ? on: December 05, 2017, 04:51:37 PM
Bitcoin has a better security today compared to its early years of existence. If some hacker can destroy the whole market, he should've done it some years ago. The growth of bitcoin helps it evolve to have a more compact security for users, for us people to enjoy the freedom of using this coin.

A stronger factor is the government, some countries ban the use of bitcoin because of the possible risks that it can bring to the people and their money, the economy of the country. If an increasing number of countries will continue to prohibit the use of bitcoin, it can become a big threat to bitcoin and to the whole crypto world.
1685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🔴Lineage🔴 ~1600 ETH equivalent to share!🔥 The fastest Blockchain [OPEN] on: December 05, 2017, 04:03:58 AM

Do you want to join? Contact us on Discord or talk to us on Bitcointalk!
What is Lineage?

“Our mission is to build a trustless, secure, self-governing, decentralized, and fast network with the capability of scaling to billions of transactions on-chain”

The Blockchain is in the current state where developers of all cryptocurrencies are trying to find a way to scale. However, they have all proposed these solutions with different types of compromises along the way. An example is the BitcoinCash fork that attempted to raise the block-size. However, the compromise was that nodes owned by less advantaged people would stop and decentralization would go down. Meanwhile, Bitcoin has scaled using Segregated Witness and will implement the Lightning Network after it’s development. This, however, is a second layer solution and base layer solutions are urgently needed.

Our mission of building a trustless, secure, self-governing, decentralized, and fast network is defined as follows:
1.  Trustless as the ability to transact with the lack of third party involvement
2.  Secure as the ability to prevent attack vectors such as a 51% attack, and a Quantum Resistant Blockchain that is futureproof. Also using the security of the blockchain to make immutable transactions.
3.  Self-governing as the ability for the Blockchain economy to govern itself without any intervention from developers.
4.  Decentralized as the ability to have immutability and many nodes that are distributed, to mitigate the risk of censorship
5.  Fast as the ability to scale to billions of transactions a second on chain with 0 second confirmations.
The campaigns will be run as follows:

1688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wages being paid in crypto on: November 13, 2017, 01:47:24 PM
Personally, I would love this. It would be amazing if an employer gave the option to pay wages in crypto currencies, of the employee's choice. Tax could be deducted before the payment, and it would almost eradicate the need for banks. However, there is that possible risk of the crypto crashing.

Is there a foolproof way to be paid in crypto?

I personally think that getting paid for real life work in crypto would be horrendous as of now. Sure, there are benefits, however, there aren't as many places that accept bitcoin itself as a currency. Furthermore, the volatility is something that could get in the way of your actual earnings. People like to put a percentage of what they earn into their investments rather than their entire portfolio. Think of if someone gets paid in bitcoin when it's at 7,800 as it was 2 days ago. Now, for every 1 bitcoin, they would have lost a little over a 1000 per coin. It's too volatile to work.
If your boss actually asked you about being paid on bitcoin or any cryptocurrencies then it's up to you whether to accept the risk or not. Actually the risk isn't only on the worker but it works both ways since the price of bitcoin will affect the boss budget whenever it's goes down. Anyway, as long as you and your boss agrees on being paid by bitcoin then it would probably be fine.

1691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Serious topic: how can we be sure Bitcoin will not be banned by most countries? on: October 15, 2017, 06:39:05 PM
Hi,
First of all, I am a holder, and Bitcoin is for me is an investment, I intend to hold for at least 5 years, so the question asked in the topic title is the last thing in the world I want.
That being said, with China, and now this rumor about Russia, I have to ask this question: how do you deal with the possibility that one day Bitcoin could be illegal in most countries?
Is it a possibility?
It is likely/unlikely?

All opinions are welcome.

Regards.
Its impossible to ban the bitcoin in all country. Because there's one country who made thw bitcoin and im sure about that. If no country create the bitcoin then why as of now the bitcoin is alive ? Im sure that the givernment of that country is make a way to sure the bitcoin can't destroy
This makes somehow makes sense. Because these kind of cases isn't rarely to happen in fact it mostly happen in a lot of stuffs. Lets make Marijuana an example, it's existence is considered not just ban but rather illegal in most countries but there are some that makes it legal to use due to its good effects from which bitcoin has a lot of.
Anyway, if bitcoin is ban on every country then it's value will just go down but will never be worthless because it will still be use on P2P transactions.
1692  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: October 15, 2017, 05:19:27 PM
I have quit trading also. I mean you are stressed all the time and a wrong entry can block you for weeks if not months. Better to buy and hold for x months. Eventually it will turn our way.

You not really need to quit trading because you lost your profit once. Try to hold your coins for a little bit longer till the value increase again. You can still work on campaigns while waiting for your coins to increase its value or rather build a mining hardware and earn coins passively while waiting for the market price to increase again.
Agreed, he didn't really quit trading since he's still saving crypto and waiting for the moment where it's price will go up so he would be able to sell it. He's like doing trading with a lot of HODL rather than instantly buying and selling.
Anyway, patience is one of the best characteristic you can have and somehow emotions since he may be able to touch his coins and sell it early once he hears a news about it going down.
1693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a True Believer? on: October 15, 2017, 04:51:47 PM
I truly believe in bitcoins. I believe it is the future of finance and it will forever change how we use money. However, I would say that bitcoins is just a jump off point of sorts and I think governments will just adopt the concepts and frameworks it has laid down. What will happen is that governments will ditch physical paper money and coins and go with cryptocurrency in their own way.
Actually, I also true believer of bitcoin. I do believe that bitcoin has good benefit and it will be good enough in our future. In addition to that, I hope all governments will allow bitcoin as real money and I do believe all country will adopt it. Lastly, I think bitcoin will be our future money and currency.

Same opinion here. I am also a true beliver of bitcoin. I agree that bitcoin has brought hope to us. It has a very good benefits to us joining bitcoins. I know bitcoin will continue to fly high. The moment that I earn from bitcoin is the moment that I believe bitcoin has something to offer to us. That bitcoin is a great opportunity to those who believe in it.
Actually the real reason why we are still believing into bitcoin because it hasn't been down below where people would have other thought about it. I'm still believing into bitcoin in the same reason as anybody, the continuously uprising of it's price. Anyway, almost all are real believers for believing unto it for almost years.

1695  Economy / Economics / Re: DON'T DO PANIC SELLING !!! on: October 12, 2017, 02:57:59 PM
Don't do panic selling. Don't do panic buying. Don't do panic trading. Don't do anything when you are in panic. When you are under the control of your emotions, the wisest and safest thing to do is to withhold your action pending a rational resolution of your thoughts. You will not benefit from it. Well, at least you are giving a chance to others who are waiting for panic movers to dump their coins.  Wink
Emotions has been the worst enemy of investors and the hard thing about it is that they don't even recognize it on their selves. You sometimes sell things in thinking that would be a rational thing to do but the real reason was that you got afraid of what happened if you don't. So you have to deal with what is currently happening and HODL on it and think the real rational thing to do or otherwise.
1696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get bitcoin every days? on: October 12, 2017, 12:24:55 PM
How can you earn 40 dollars a day in bitcoin?? , let's share the knowledge on this topic , and hopefully we get more success after share my experience in here
If you want to get btc every day just try freebitcoin any sites tahat can give btc to you.
If you're saying that freebitcoin which is the faucet site then it's better to find other ways since you won't get far from getting bitcoin on any other faucet site. Better try to do mining because you'll be able to get more bitcoin from it. Other than that try gambling and only use the in game faucet and the tips to play it and save all your winnings and invest on trading since for all I know trading is currently the best way to get bitcoin.
1697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: October 11, 2017, 06:27:31 PM
Obviously if bitcoin is just a virtual coin that doesn't have a fixed price like money that has a nominal fixed price Wink
Actually, both bitcoin and fiat money has a price but the difference is how the circulation of it being made. Fiat money looks like a fixed priced due to how strict the circulation is being done. Bitcoin is getting higher and higher on price due to a large of circulation being made and since it's unique then it's value goes high.  The only difference I see is how they are being used and the fact that bitcoin is an cryptocoin while money is fiat.

Greetings everyone! I haven't use my account for almost a month now and my activity and post went down to 0. Care to explain? Thanks for the answers!
There has been a lot of old Topics that has been and being removed so almost all has their post being less due to this event. It's better since new topics being made are just the same as the old ones but it's hard to revive those old topics once again. Better post on those Substantial Threads since they are very likely not to be removed or deleted.
1700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: October 11, 2017, 03:42:05 PM
People are holding into bitcoin because, many people knows the capability of bitcoin. And onto holding it. Well if you believe on bitcoin you can see that there are so many possibilities. Many people believed that bitcoin will be up at 1m usd in the future. So hodl and take your iron balls.
As me, although I can not sure the price of Bitcoin will increase its value to 1 million dollar in future or not, but I always spend a little amount of Bitcoin to hold in my desktop wallet. That amount is very small, but if that future become the truth, it still helps me enough to become the rich man in my country Roll Eyes
That's quite a reasonable thing to do if bitcoin's price do really go up high as people have been expecting. If it really go up in a million each then every satoshi we hold has a lot of value especially those countries where dollars has a bigger value than their own local fiat currency. Better to hold atleast some bitcoin you own than spending all of it and regretting everything for years to come. But there's a chance too for it's price to go deep down where it's value was like way back from where it started depending on how government and people do about it.
