701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gacha Game on: September 25, 2022, 08:21:51 AM
I will consider it as gambling as you use real money to buy in-game characters to look cool or getting good stats just like Dota 2 but Dota 2 are more on cool or awesome character designs and no stats increasing items since what they sell are most likely skins and and no stats booster items as far as I know but I do know in other game which youe character will get strong by topping up in-game currency by spending lots ot money. I have experienced it myself buying in-game currency and trying my chance to win it but that game only sell game skins to look cool and if there is then it's only +8 attack for all items/skins.
I don't consider it as gambling since there is no way to win money from it unless I plan to sell my account for profit. Or if that game is able to withdraw some money then it can consider gambling but if not it will just be a game with buy in options like how some applications have when you want to access some features of that app. Though many is interested in such games that builds the character and some might sell their account once it is high rank.
I guess, it can be considered as borderline gambling as these gacha games or mini game from various games. Since the reward isn't monetary but some of it has value outside the game which can be traded from one player to another. However, most games doesn't allow transaction outside the platform to avoid this but still there are some games that allow them to be sold such as games from steam.

Let me try provide the stats on one of my go to gambling platform.

Favorite Casino: Primedice
Wagered amount: $7,000+ (not sure since Bitcoin's price changes but approximately I think this is correct)
Profit: $1,000+
Most played games: Dice since that's the only game available on PD however I also play Slots, Poker, and Sportsbet
Biggest win: Around $1,500 on one of my Dice sessions.
Biggest loss in one game: $400, I tried to do one all in bet and lost.
Average bet size: 30-50$
OMG Shocked your bet size was 30-50$ in which is too large amount for me. Perhaps, most of the time you always win in the games
isn't?
Nope, I rarely win on each of my gambling session and just as you can see on the stats I've provided, you can that my profit is just around $1000.

I've set my bet size to that amount as I often do martingale strategy where it doubles everytime I lose and I start at around 50 cents to 1$ and it usually go up to 100$. However, at one time I tried to be greedy and tried to bet all in which is my biggest loss.

Based from my experience, the proceeds of my campaign signature was deposited in their gambling website and I usually withdraw them after getting 2-3 weeks of pay. The reason is for saving some BTCs due to transaction costs and for entertainment. If I truly want to support my campaign signature, there is this obligation that you have to at least try their gambling services since I advertised them in this forum.

Generally, however, you should not leave some large amounts of BTCs in a gambling website due to the nature of their security.
I relate to your situation as a participant on a signature campaign who also receives payment through our gambling platform's account. But, I usually withdraw my earnings depending on my financial needs such as trading, investment and even physical things. Also, I don't feel obligated to gamble on the platform especially if it doesn't suits my gambling style. I've joined multiple gambling campaigns where I did not play on the platform but rather explore and research to further advertised them properly. As of now, I've enjoyed playing on Stake and Primedice.
704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i get banned for Card Counting in online casinos? on: September 24, 2022, 03:05:41 PM
I've to many movies and documentaries about card counting whereas casino will take action in case they found out that someone is doing it. I doubt that online casinos are an exception. I think online casino will put a limit and observe your gambling activities such as if there is any possible programs being used as card counting are much more complicated compared to offline casinos.

Also, Upon researching on google, there are various methods as to why card counting online are likely to impossible to do.

Quote from: google.com
Most Online Casinos Shuffle After Every Hand

Instead, mobile developers program games to shuffle after each hand. The result is a brand new shoe in every round. Therefore, online blackjack games essentially offer zero deck penetration. They don't give you any chance to count cards and gain an advantage.

Is counting cards possible online?

Deck Penetration: If you're considering counting cards online, this one is the killer. Many online casinos employ continuous shuffle machines. Those make card counting ineffective. But for online live dealer blackjack games that don't use a “CSM,” they will have the dealer shuffle in the middle of the shoe.

705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Go home with a profit and come back to end up losing a lot. on: September 24, 2022, 02:04:08 PM
I guess the story can be related to the thread that was posted here which is When betting becomes to high. Some people often gamble a lot when they are chasing their loses however it is not always the case. Some people also gamble more than they usually gamble on when they are feeling extremely lucky and want to bet more to maximize profit.

Just as the story you've provided, the gambler bet more than his winnings as he felt extremely lucky at the time. I think this is a common scenario for most gamblers as I, myself experience this. I was on a winning streak during one of my dice gambling session and tried to bet more and more but instead of earning more, I end up losing all my bankroll including my previous winnings.

708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When betting becomes to high on: September 23, 2022, 03:40:58 PM
Mostly we experience this kind of scenario when we are facing a huge amount of loss or tons of losing streak because there's a chance that you will make revenge gameplay and make a huge amount of bet just expecting you will make your money back from the losses at the same time but of course, it is a risk play there's a chance you will lose up more double or triple that your profit or just gain the profit back again and make a stop to play gambling, mostly we stop when we don't have enough funds that's why when playing gambling always set a limit.
Actually, It doesn't usually happen when we are on a losing streak on our gambling activities but also when we are on a winning streak. It can sound weird but it is true. There are gamblers who will gamble more than what they can afford when they are on a winning streak as they felt that they are extremely lucky. Some may withdraw all their winnings then come back with more than the amount they won and continue gambling in the hope that they'll win more than they already won. As we all know, the reason behind this is greed.
709  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: September 23, 2022, 01:58:50 PM
The problem, even "Stake" have the license.

Do twitch still gonna allow them? we all know why twitch is targeting (Roobet, Stake, Duelbits), is because they have the most active advertiser by successfully bring a stream with a huge name (Follower).

I still skeptical even we have license, twitch still are gonna to restricted stake for stream on there.
I don't think that License is the real issue why Twitch is banning these gambling platforms such as Stake, Roobet, Duelbits, etc,. I think the main reason why they have been banning these platform are because they are a "crypto" gambling platform. Stake has already made a resolution in regards to the licensure issue with the US which is the Stake.us yet twitch still insists on banning them.

Anyways, there are other major streaming platforms out there for this gambler streamer so I don't think this will be a major issue with the streamers as well as the gambling platforms.
710  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph suspended my account without valid reason on: September 23, 2022, 10:24:37 AM

Yun! Salamat, bali dalawa na kayo ni baofeng na nagsabi sakin about dito so never ko na talagang gagawin para wala na mangyari sa account ko kung sakaling kaylanganin ko man. Good thing na medjo familiar na rin ako sa binance since user na rin nila ako dati pa. Stick na ako sa binance as of now.
What do you mean po?
711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: September 23, 2022, 10:03:21 AM
Actually, Stake.com might be restricted to US citizens as it has concerns regarding the regulation of US laws however there is another version of Stake that is only available to US Citizens which is at Stake.us. You can try and check out this thread about Stake.us and this is what the resolution made by Stake to allow users from US to continue gambling.

Also, I wonder if they'll allow Stake.us to continue streaming at Twitch since the main reason why they banned these websites or gambling platforms is mostly about conflict with US regulations. But still, whatever decision they'll make, these streamers can still continue streaming at another platform that is not against Gambling.
The way I interpret it, they prohibition is a blanket ban, so everything the relates to gambling specially crypto based casinos are going to be ban.

Now the question is how is this ban going to affect those mentioned gambling platform like Stake? I would say that it wouldn't put any dent though, I mean gamblers will continue to play on any platform regardless if they will be promoted by crypto influencer in Twitch. So it's going to be business as usual and they are going to continue to make money. The effect will be felt by those influencers because obviously how will they promote those sites if there are no streams sites to begin with.
Twitch mentioned that the reason for banning the said gambling platforms such as Stake is mainly because of the conflict on the regulation on the US which is the licensure issue. However, most of the platforms they've banned are gambling platforms that operate with cryptocurrency but it seems like it's more on banning the whole Gambling related streams on their platform.

Also, Twitch is just one of the streaming platforms where this streamer showcases their gambling site such as Stake but other streaming platforms are still available like Facebook. The banning will surely affect the said gambling website but not much as other advertisements and promotions are being made like what they offer here at the forum as Signature Campaign and banners on various platforms like social media influencers and events.

This means that Stakes.com, duelbits, Roobet, and Rollbit are not regulated in the U.S. so they are restricted to the U.S.

I'm also just wondering why they made the dice games different, after all that game is very simple, why not the Poker, blackjack, and baccarat games? I just ask this. Is it because the government has a greater benefit here? It's as if it's not clear what the real reason is for taking it down.

What about you guys? Do you leave your balance in your casino balance or you withdraw immediately regardless of the reputation of the casino?
Any casino reputable or not can get hacked at any time. During such periods if you have a large amount of money on their wallet, you will have to face the mental havoc of not being able to access that money.

Would you rather want to go through that painful process of when things get resolved and when the casino declares that their hot wallets were safe?

For a regular gambler I can understand that they lack the patience and they want to start playing as soon as possible. So there is a possibility that they only keep a smaller amount left on the wallet so they can start playing while having made a deposit already and waiting for it to confirm. Besides with so many bonuses and promotions going on almost every casino has some free coins for you to start off.
That's the thing, for a regular gambler who gambles on a daily basis, it will be more convenient for them not to withdraw the whole amount on their account as they will still deposit it at a later time. I don't really think that most gamblers rely on bonuses for their gambling activities as it's just a fraction of the amount they usually bet on and these bonuses are mostly sent either on a weekly or monthly basis.

In terms of safety, it might be good for seldom gamblers who gamble only once a month or once a week. However, for gamblers who gamble daily, it really doesn't affect them much as just as you've said, website hacking can happen anytime so it can happen while these gamblers are gambling.

I don't usually leave any balance on my casino account since most of time when I gamble there's nothing left to withdraw on.

However, In some cases where I win on my gambling endeavours, I either withdraw all of it depending if I want to buy something or I leave some on the account to the amount which I usually gamble on. I often deposit atleast 100$ per week on my account to gamble on but there are some instances where I win and only withdraw my winnings and leave the 100$ so I can still continue gambling for the week.

Because people are watching there has some hope as well a "Giveaway".

That's why everyone follows him even we all know "Dlive" is not quite popular, we can see the comparition between Microsoft Game Live with Twitch. Even they can bring shroud, they still can't passed twitch.
---
Back to the topic, twitch are really fight against gambling activity on their platform. The different of this case, there has some case on their streamer (That's why they take more action) rather than the previous one.
Some people may have been following or watching his stream because of possible giveaway however I doubt that everyone of them are only there for giveaway purposes. Strategies and other possible reason could also be considered as I don't think these people will waste their time watching and even following them on other platform just for a chance on the giveaway.

That's the thing, DLive isn't that popular yet they managed to retain some or most of their viewers. Anyways, even if they bought the streaming platform, we all know that they can't overtake twitch in terms of popularity.

717  Economy / Gambling / Re: I Have a Question ~ Are 1xbit Campaigners Playing on 1xbit? on: September 20, 2022, 07:45:59 AM
But what are those people who have such a bad reputation going to do for spreading the 1Xbit scam?

Those who have an inactive/active account with almost no earned merit or those who can't be accepted on any good signature campaign can join the 1xbit signature campaign. Or those who have multiple accounts may work on this project. Or those who had negative trust though 1xbit now not accepting negatively trusted users who got negative trust not for promoting 1xbit.
That's the thing, they don't really care about their account anymore as long as they get paid through promoting such an ill reputed platform. Most of them are really account farmers way back before merit has been introduced and just woke up as this campaign doesn't really care about any metrics or quality of the account.
718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: September 19, 2022, 07:24:46 PM
I continue to hope that in the future BFG will be listed on major CEX exchanges such as Binance or Kucoin, but it seems the developer has other considerations
It may take many more time  to take listed on those websites because the tokens of these gambling websites do not even come close to the requirements to be listed on Binance. The trade volume wasn't enough for that and with so many gambling websites, they are not able to achieve that amount of trade volume, and now most of the new gambling websites are coming out with their own tokens, so I think that Bitcoin, BNB, Ethereum are the top level coins from holding these coins.  Better to hold.
Well this listing of the BFG already depends a lot on what they want to do, if the Betfury team wants it to be listed, they can do it, but I understand that they do not want to list it yet due to the uncertainty of the market, it is obvious that if they list it right now they are going to give it a big Dump, so maybe for now they are giving movement to the BFG in any way, in contests or something like that, in many ways the token can be promoted, only now is not a good time to list it, of course, in Binance anyone's eyes will shine, but seeing that everything is like this with these fundamentals, it is best to wait, and those who have BFG, Hodl.
I doubt that BFG will be listed on these trading platforms anytime soon even if they want to based from the current volume they have right now. Also, I don't see any reason as to why they would not list their tokens to any of these platforms especially Binance if they really can.

What they are probably doing right now is to provide more updates and relevant news to increase the volume as well as the value of their token to be listed on these platforms.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bonus Abuse: Who is to Blame? on: September 19, 2022, 06:57:28 PM
So assuming there is no flawless security system, then the bonus abusers are the only ones to blame on the eventual losses of casinos, but i also believe that before offering very appealing bonuses to new players those platforms should be aware of the potential weaknesses their systems may have, study the losses they could suffer in order to adjust the terms and conditions before launching a bonus campaign, at least this way they may know what to expect in terms of loss/benefit ratio.

Even though this marketing strategy ends up being profitable and it is a success for casinos to attract new gamblers that does not mean the search for better ways to decrease bonus abuse should stop.
Yes I am thinking sometimes that they are already knew it or they are also aware of it, they just let it slide so that many people will create account in their website and will give them larger traffic like the way they are planning, but they also know how much losses it will come back to them, so it means they already have the estimated amount of it, I think right now there's no one to blame with.
They might be aware of it however I doubt that they would just let it slide. Bonus abusers doesn't really provide or attract more traffic or potential users or gamblers on the platform, instead what they attract are more bonus abusers.

Gambling platforms or casinos will try to act or do something about it once the loss overcome the profit that these bonuses produce. In short, they'll either remove the bonus or alter some information or prerequisites to avoid their bonus to be abused.
