Personally, hindi ko ito kinokonsider as a less riskier option dahil madalas nagkakaroon ng faulty boards at parts sa mga ASIC rigs [sa ibang salita, you might spend a lot of cash and time on repairs while you continue your mining operations "without" its full capacity].
May mga instances talagang nangyayari na magkakaroon ng faulty parts sa ASIC Rigs including yung mga GPUs since kailangan natin i-run ito with it's full capacity or maximum potential. Pero depende pa rin ito kasi with proper maintenance maari natin ma-lessen ang issue on the hardware.
Also, hindi lang sya less riskier, passive income rin sya so less hassle rin. In case din na tumigil na sa pag-mine, maari natin ibenta ang mining rigs natin with atleast 60-70 percent of it's original cost depending sa usage at condition nito.

I also believe that Dollar-cost averaging is still the better option to accumulate Bitcoin during the bear market.
It's the far better option for most people regardless if it's a bear market or a bull market. Timing markets wrecks inexperienced people, which is pretty much a huge majority of people.
I agree, it is a much better option with lower risk especially during a bearish market. I have already experienced many loses by timing the market even with experience however if you will be able to time it right, the amount you will earn might be worth it. But still I wouldn't advise people to time the market especially if you don't have enough time and knowledge for it.
1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dealing with ISP block on Gambling websites on: June 05, 2022, 12:16:42 PM

You have been warned. Once you have issues to the casino while your ISP added the casino in thier blacklist, you will find it hard to claim since you are from a blacklisted country.

The ISP seemvery  particular in banning casinos, when I tried visiting trustdice today, it asked me to solve captcha. Does that mean the casino is flagged or compromised?
I've been warned, but what else can I do? I'm not going to deposit any money of course, and only resort to use my existing balance, but there's no other choice, thus, I'm willing to take the risk, what else could I possibly do?

Regarding your issue, I don't think the casino has been flagged, it's probably just a security check to tackle spam.
Knowingly that you've been warned from a gambling website and is still willing to take risk, then the next possible move to use VPN to access the website and continue playing. Also, it is rare to encounter an issue where another users will be using the same IP with free VPN. However, using free VPN will make your account more suspicious as you will have different IP every time you use it. So you should be prepared when asked for a KYC check or any possible instance where you might be caught by the website.

Anyways, Casinos asking you to solve captcha doesn't necessarily mean anything other than avoiding spam and possibly use of bots.
1104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: taking out a loan for a sports bet on: June 05, 2022, 04:59:19 AM
recently I've come across some information for an upcoming soccer match and I'd like to place a big bet of 50-100k, how easy would it be for me to take out a loan and how long would it take? has anyone else done something like this?

feel free to message me or comment below  Smiley
No way if you're going to take a loan and tell the lender what's the purpose of the loan, gambling has no guarantee of return, and asking for a loan to bet is a huge mistake that any gambler can commit, I would not even think of getting a loan for that, and unless you are 100% sure of the win which is nonexistence in gambling unless it is fixed.
Actually, there are more factors that the lender will require the borrower when asking for a loan. One of the most important factor that they'll ask is collateral especially for loaning that amount and has no previous transaction from the bank that you're loaning from. If you will be able to provide a collateral has more value from your loan such as assets, cars, property and more then they'll approved it whatever reason for it.
1105  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online casino. What's the reliability of the technology? on: June 05, 2022, 03:50:04 AM
If the casino want to be popular to the gambler, they will not do some shady things like blatantly cheating their customer. We know that the house always win,but we can still quit while we are ahead.Regardless of the algorithm technology casino used,as the player we should have self control and don't get greedy.

In order to stay and survive in gambling world, a gambling site should be trustworthy. If they will fail to secure their players, then they should expect that sooner or later, little to no one would trust and play in their site. We're all aware that the house, most of the time, is at an advantage. This is for them to profit. Which is why there is something called rtp rate. A casino shouldn't rely on dirty tactics such as cheating just to ensure a profit out of it.

Every casino and gambling website wouldn't really give out their software and algorithm for security purposes. It should be kept hidden and unknown so that it won't be abused by the players. Because of course, once people knew how things work, they will come up with a plan to utilize it to their own advantage. Even if it means to cheat on the house. After all, some players are just after the money. Perhaps players could just find provably fair based casinos and check the reviews about them to countercheck whether it's reliable or not.
Each and every casino out there protect their brand name by the trust they've gain from their customers or gamblers. And one of the essential traits that they should properly managed are security and fair play on their platforms.

Probably Fair system is the main system that most gambling platforms used where players can verify the bets they've made to ensure no cheating will be made. Also, on most gambling platforms that has simple games such as slots, dice, etc., bets are shown publicly so that players will have knowledge who have won or loss on their bets.
1106  Local / Pilipinas / Re: KAALAMAN SA CRYPTOCURRENCY on: June 04, 2022, 03:47:12 PM
PANO BA TAYO KIKITA SA CRYPTOCURRENCY?
~Snipped~
3. MINING - Ito naman ay nagsasagawa or nagseset up ka ng mga hardware system para ikaw ay kumita.
It's worth noting na kahit may mga rewards sa mining, hindi ibig sabihin nito na kikita talaga tayo in reality [e.g. electricity rates, old/inefficient mining rigs at iba pa...].
If ikokonsider yung maintenance, then much better na i-note din yung mga cost and risk sa mga paraan ng pagkita sa cryptocurrency. Sa mining required ang maintenance like kuryente, mining rigs at iba pa.. pero when it comes sa risk, less risky itong way na ito to earn cryptocurrency. Also, parang investment rin ang mining since kailangan mong ng good mining rig para kumita ng maayos rito in the long term.
Not sure pa rin tayo kung hindi ito worth the trouble na imention dahil maaring yung makuha natin sa faucet might be a huge amount in the long run rin. I remember earning almost upto 0.02 btc every other week at mas malaki sa doge na kung iisipin mo ngayon ay malaking halaga na.

Other than Investment, Trading, at Mining, sobrang dami pang ways upang kumita sa crypto. Bounty Campaigns, Airdrop, Gambling, Tips, at Faucets ay iba pang paraan upang kumita ng crypto. Sa totoo lang sobrang dami pang iba.
1107  Local / Pilipinas / Re: WHALES investors mabuti o masama? on: June 04, 2022, 11:01:37 AM
If you think a certain asset is a good investment in the first place regardless kung bumababa or tumataas, go buy it.
Still, depends pa rin sa assets na bibilhin at sa mga certain circumstances dahil may certain times na much better bumili ng assets kapag tumaas ang presyo. Riding a hype can be a good investment in a short term matter. Also, malaki ang chance para kumita kapag nakapaginvest ka in the right time while pumping yung token.
Oo, hindi dapat and price charts and sole basis sa investment dahil kailangan din natin magresearch or (DYOR) kapag naginvest either with crypto or any investments. Pero ang price chart is one of the main basis kapag maginvest.
As for trading, totally depends on strategy.
Anyway, tama ka naman. Your opinion and/or strategy with trading or investing totally depends whether if it's for short term or long term.
1108  Local / Pilipinas / Re: WHALES investors mabuti o masama? on: June 04, 2022, 09:34:35 AM
Hindi sya applicable sa lahat ng cases whether it's for trading or investment.

I advise na maghanap ka ng ibang investment or assets to invest with. Dahil kung walang basehan like news, updates or any kind of issue para mag pump or dump ang isang asset, much better na iwasan ito dahil possibly for short term investment lang sya at maaring ma-rug in the long run.
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best UI/UX Gambling Platform? on: June 04, 2022, 08:28:34 AM
No offense to Freebitco.in but it's most likely the least favourite on the list when it comes to UI.
Freebitco.in might be one of the longest gambling and faucet platform out there but when it comes to UI, they don't offer that much as the platform is almost the same from when it started.

Anyway, for me, I guess the best UI out there when it comes for the gambling is Primedice as the simplicity of the platform is user friendly for PC and Phone users. But when it comes to sports gambling platform then Sportsbet.io might be the best for this one.

1111  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Crypto taxation in the Philippines coming soon? on: June 03, 2022, 03:33:29 AM

Anyway, mukang hinde pa talaga magkakaroon ng tax kase pinagaaralan paren nila ito and even DOF Secretary ay hesitant paren with regards to this topic. Let's wait nalang talaga for their final assessment and final decision, wala ren naman kase tayo magagawa once na maimplement ito kaya support nalang naten if ever basta nasa tama.
Always naman na walang basis when it comes to corruption lalo na sa gobyerno. As of now, sobrang konti o halos wala ang napapatong na taxation para sa mga crypto users sa Pilipinas. Atsaka, I doubt na magkakaroon ng taxation sa cryptocurrency dahil most of the official are not even familiar sa crypto. Pero sabi nga nila, if there's a will, there's a way.
1112  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Report: PH ranks 2nd in ‘ownership of cryptocurrency’ on: June 03, 2022, 02:36:24 AM
Mahirap malaman pero yes, mostly talaga altcoints at panigurado yung iba dito ay nagsimula sa NFT which is ok naman as long as nagiinvest sila sa good projects. Maraming pumapasok kapag bull market at marame ren ang umaalis kapag masyadong alanganin na sila on bear trend pero for sure babalik ren naman talaga sila
Later on.

Unfortunately, when it comes to crypto, mostly speculation lang talaga ang magagawa natin lalo na sa ganitong klase na survey kasi yung owner ng address ay pwedeng ma-dox which is not a good sign for security.
1113  Economy / Economics / Re: Enticing customers to make payment with crypto. on: May 29, 2022, 09:07:11 PM
Offering discounts or any sort of promotion for using crypto as payment will surely pique the curiosity of the customer and you might also be questions as to how to do it. So basically yes, you can attract or entice customers on paying thru crypto.

However, on you will sustain the promotion in the long run will surely depends on your decision as you are offering payments thru a volatile currency (not including stablecoin). Also, you might encounter a huge loss or even received a huge gain depending on how the market run. But you must also consider that you are promoting crypto thru your community which is a good for us in the crypto industry.
1114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PROS AND CONS OF CRRYPTOGAMBLING. on: May 29, 2022, 07:39:18 PM
Unfortunately, this is currently only true for small amounts. Theoretically, you can use any amount, but I'm sure that most casinos will ask for KYC (at least if you win and try to make a withdrawal) so you should always be prepared for wasting time on this procedure plus being able to pass KYC - if you are under 18 or gambling is prohibited in your country, then you need to have a fake identity in advance.

Yes, if you are a high roller, you should expect that the casino will ask KYC from you especially those with gambling license. So it is not true that you can deposit as much money as you want without KYC. And you need to be careful with casinos that are not active in the forum, as your funds may be at jeopardy if you send big amount. You have no way of reaching out to them if they suddenly freeze your account and decided not to answer your ticket.
In all actuality, most high rollers choose website that doesn't require KYC even when the platform is legitimate or licensed. Also, there are some deals whereas the high roller either has been some kind of deal with the website to avoid KYC process or either used fake ID or other people identity for the KYC process.
Also, it is somehow false to say that if a gambling does not have or even is not active on there forum means that your funds may be in Jeopardy as there are some gambling casino out there that has superb customer service even though not being active on the forum. There are also gambling casino that are active on the forum but has alot of report on the website such as not being able to withdraw funds or even scamming their users.
1115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: should I be concerned about the history of bitcoins when buying them ? on: May 29, 2022, 06:03:49 PM
Why don't you just use a mixer if you are not very sure? There is a popular one here in the forum Chipmixer that renders this service, enquire about the process to mix your coins and get it done with. If you are in a country where you feel this can have a negative impact later then a mixer is your best option. But you should first try and buy from a reputable p2p platform, that way the probability of buying a stolen coin is less.
This method could probably help the OP in case there's an issue with the coins he'd bought however I think this is going overboard especially if the coin is bought from a P2P platform. These coins are usually are not directly sent to the others party's wallet but rather it will be mixed on multiple nodes.
Also, it's rare to encounter such a scenario and even if that's the case, you can just explain the situation and not be liable with the coins bought.
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 29, 2022, 05:22:01 PM
You are lucky that you lose only 98$, I lost 175$ yesterday and 60$ last week. You can easily imagine how I would be feeling right now. Gambling is all about losing your hard earned money in few minutes or seconds. Despite all my efforts I can't restrict myself from gambling.
A loss is loss, and what made my loss bad is that I lost every bets to roll over 20. That is really bad, and a loss of $235 is really big for a common gambler. As far gambling is concerned, don't try to recover those losses. Give some time or take a break and this will help you atleast get back little than emotionally getting lost.
Yes, loss is a loss whatever the amount is however you must also consider the lesson you've learned from this experience. First of all, never to gamble with money that you don't even have. You've gambled funds that is supposedly for payment on your debt which ended up losing.
Also, for Blatchcorn, don't invalidate someone's loss just because of the amount they've loss on their gambling activity as compared to you that was able to afford to gamble right after losing 175$ . OP already has a debt of thr amount he had gambled with so there's the difference.
Anyway, I hope you've learned your lesson with this experience to never gamble with funds you can't afford to lose especially if it's already reserved for something else.
1117  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we embrace a cashless policy?? on: May 29, 2022, 01:41:20 PM
If possible or if the government will allow then yes, I would gladly embrace having a cashless policy as it would be much more efficient and convenient on doing transactions on a daily basis. However, it is unlikely to happen as not all people has the technological knowledge as to how cashless transaction happen.

But it might be a huge possibility to happen on the near future as everything will need to advance and that also include on how payment and transaction works whether it will be thru crypto, blockchain or other alternatives.

As of now, I fully enjoy doing cashless transactions with the help of financial application such as bank transaction, Gcash, Paymaya, Paypal and other cashless options available.
1118  Economy / Economics / Re: World has just ten weeks' worth of wheat left after Ukraine war on: May 29, 2022, 09:51:36 AM
Amazing how that one country alone is being relied on for wheat by several countries and that it not being able to export could cause unrest in these. Also starkly reminds us of how interconnected our countries has become that many are no longer able to feed themselves efficiently.

If does come to a no-more-wheat scenario, there's really no choice but to eat something else. When our country started having rice shortages a few decades ago, people ended up having to eat more sweet potato and cassava. So maybe less pita and more pilaf for the Middle Easterners, for example. Tortilla ain't that bad either.
Actually a lot of countries are bring relied on for various goods and Ukraine is one of the major exporter for wheat. And when one major exporter have been disrupted, other countries tend to be disrupted as well. However, this disruption will not last forever as government will search for alternative to import from.
Just like what happened with you when shortage happened on rice, but later on rice has been available but it came from other country instead and a price fluctuations due to changes on importer of rice.
1119  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens if BTC's price falls to $8,000? on: May 29, 2022, 07:09:35 AM
It won’t fall suddenly because that’s not how the market will work for bitcoin. Bitcoins market cap is enormous and huge, by the time it has dropped to 8k window, volume will suffer multiple bearish and bullish trends on the way. Just like now, it went up and down creating roller coaster graphs before hitting the bottom rates. However, we have to understand for every bottom there is resistance. For reaching it to 8k bottom would mean more than 50% of peeps are selling every satoshi they posses so as to cut down the prices and loosing liquidity.
It is not impossible for bitcoin's price to lower to even that much however it is highly improbable to happen. There will always be a resistance or wall to avoid these from happening from which most whales are waiting to invest to.
But it is still possible to happen such as if bitcoin will encounter some kind of predicament whereas people will be having some kind of trouble accessing crypto such as country's banning like what China is doing however in a huge wider scale.
Anyway, you are right, since these kind of scenario would not likely occured due to support from various groups, communities and some governments. Also, with the current market cap that it has right now, it unlikely to dip even lower by that much.

<snip>
Kaso nga lang when you ask them tungkol sa mga crypto, other than binance, metamask at mga NFT games, konting info lang mabibigay nila.
Pero tama ka, wag tayong mag-expect ng malaki about sa cryptocurrency dahil may ibang bagay na mas maging priority nila especially at times like this.
But I believe we are making progress as time goes by.
