981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons why people avoid KYC in gambling casino ? on: July 08, 2022, 04:26:35 PM
That's why we must be careful in choosing a casino site, especially one that uses kyc because we don't know what they can do with our data.

Exactly. And the answer for question "How to choose proper casino?" is easy: Choose those who has EU/USA license. Not of grey offshore, not of some third world countries. No. EU or USA - in this case you will be sure that casino not cheating and that it will not sell your data to some shady hackers.
This got me thinking, I've only had one KYC done on a gambling platform as I am gambling on that website on a regular basis however I haven't checked their licence yet.

Could you please clarify more information on checking a proper casino? Also, Can I know more why having a EU/USA guarantees that the casino will not cheat or sell your data to anyone? Thanks!
982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Recent Experience at a Land-Based Casino on: July 08, 2022, 03:05:43 PM
If I were the casino manager, I will fire that employee right away. I do not need to here his reasoning any further. Casinos do not need emotional workers. And employees in the first place should know their place and be professional at all times.
You will be the unprofessional manager if you fire your employee without hearing his reason behind his action. Belittling someone who has a lower position to you will make you get fired in the long run. Also, knowing that the employee is asking his relative to leave is a conflict of interest and not a random emotional action that he may try to other gamblers.
If given the chance, I may also talk to that regular gambler privately. I will probably try to know his present financial situation and then I will explain to him what it's like to become a responsible gambler.
Asking for information especially personal ones may get you in trouble as you are trying to manipulate someone who you don't even know.
983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: July 08, 2022, 01:44:04 PM
Sure. Bring this someone to an isolated fishing village with nothing and in a week he will become a fisherman. Its going to change his activity within a day and although he may miss gambling, he might not find someone who'd play with him. The last thing he may just be doing is watch TV to replace the entertainment he was used to.

This is reflects to who his companions are just as the phrase "tell me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are". Your friends are part of your environment.
If he doesn't get anything like mobile internet then he will definitely be fresh but if he takes mobile then I will never believe that he will not gamble. Whenever a person at work, he doesn't give attention to the other side. However, the environmental situation does not change people in a moment, but after a long time it changes automatically. In that case, the environment must be important.
It might still depends on how much addicted a person is and how much the environmental influence he had when gambling. There are some instances that a person will not gambler in a short notice if he is not under the influence from his co-gamblers. However, it will be hard to remove gambling addiction to a person if he is not willing to and if he's too addicted that even the environmental factors does not affect him/her.
984  Economy / Gambling / Re: What makes you hide your bets in public? on: July 08, 2022, 11:34:34 AM
I usually don't use this feature often as I don't really mind people seeing my bets since I seldom do high bets but when I do I make sure to turn it on. There are various reason as to why people turn this feature on especially those who don't want to socialize on the chat or being checked by other players. It's really common for people to keep in check of your account especially if you have a high win rate and a high roller as they try to copy your strategy. However, for me, I only used this feature if I think that I'm gambling with somehow a relatively high bet and don't want people to see it especially if you win. There are some gambling platform where users will try to contact you thru chat if you win and ask for tip.
985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Recent Experience at a Land-Based Casino on: July 08, 2022, 10:04:09 AM
the worker did well, in many countries governments control this part of the casinos having to ban addicted players or prohibit people who have bad financial management from getting involved with gambling and the employee is right to have fired this person who always loses money. because the casino could have problems with the government, of course he was also helping someone he knows, but he acted well
I beg to disagree, The casino employee acted based on the conflict of interest and they cannot just kick out players especially regulars just because they keep on losing. Based on the story stated by OP, the casino worker did not ask out the gambler from the casino due to some illicit activity. Still, instead, he pities him due to his financial decision and as he was part of his family or his nephew.

The employee might receive some kind of warning and possibly receive some sort of penalty due to conflict of interest and possibly be re-assigned to another position.
986  Economy / Economics / Re: Unemplyment at least 50% how world will look like then ? on: July 08, 2022, 09:23:57 AM
The US national unemployment rate is way much lower than the figure you provided without a source. The latest number is only 3.6%.[1] That's fairly low.

But how will the world look like when unemployment is very high? Surely, one of the impacts would be on the demand of goods and services. With the decrease in demand, prices may be affected. But 80-90% might not really be a realistic figure. That huge decrease might eat up even the production cost. It's better to close shop than reduce the price 80-90%.

[1] https://www.ncsl.org/research/labor-and-employment/state-unemployment-update.aspx#:~:text=All%2050%20states%20and%20the,lower%20than%20in%20May%202021.
Having a 50% unemployment rate really is too much and isn't a realistic figure as it will affect the economy of one's country a lot. Even with 3.6% unemployment rate can even affect the services being provided by companies as the required manpower may have not be reached. Just as you've said, supply and demand chain will in chaos in case more than 50% unemployment rate will be reached. Also, the economy of one country will suffer as demands and services will not be provided appropriately which may even collapse various companies.

Tapos iyong NFTs, so ang labas parang inflation.

But sadly we can't dictate  investors kung ano ang dapat gawin nila.

Philippines, China Province . It still depends pa din naman since may mga banko na nagwewelcome sa crypto like Unionbank.

Nasubukan mo na bang kumuha ng loan from "GCash" at "Tonik"?
- I prefer to not vouch, pero mukhang nagbibigay sila ng non collateralized loans!
Based from my experience sa Gcredit. Prolly the same sa Gloan.

989  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ano ang plano niyo ngayong bear market? on: July 08, 2022, 06:08:31 AM

990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino can play a role in changing fortune? on: July 05, 2022, 08:21:18 AM
Nice story,I didn't know this one. There are very few persons on earth compared to the earth population which in percentage is less than 0.0000001% that have experienced a life changing event by going to a casino. These people are the ones who have hit a multi million dollar jackpot, only this can be considered a true life changing event.I have seen people winning small jackpots from 50.000 dollars up to 250.000 dollars but most of the time they have lost it again, while winning a multi million dollar jackpot can at least change your life for a minimum of 5-10 years even if you gamble that money away.
I beg to disagree with your opinion that only a very few percent of gamblers have experience life changing success. If you think that winning multi million dollars is the only way for you to experience life changing success then you're wrong. It actually depends on the individual and how he will manage his funds and winnings on the casino. Just as you've said, you already saw a lot of people who won more than 50,000 dollars. More than 50,000 dollars may change an individuals life depending on how he managed his winnings as not all of them lose these.

Based from the story above, 27,000 dollars is more than enough to change his life situation as he invested his money on his own company.
991  Economy / Services / Re: [FULL] WasabiWallet.io Signature Campaign | Up to 0.005 BTC/W on: July 05, 2022, 03:19:22 AM
To some guys who used to participate in the cloudbet campaign, I sent more bitcoins than I should have.

So I will deduct them from the third week of Wasabi (so as not to inconvenience you).
Got confused when I checked my wallet this morning and this explains why.

Thanks icopress!

Anyways, it looks like the uncounted post or the amount to be deducted on the spreadsheet should be 14 instead of 25.

Edit: Spreadsheet has been updated, Thanks!
992  Economy / Gambling / Re: ➡➡ STAKE.COM stole my money 🚧🚧 on: July 03, 2022, 06:44:07 PM
And the amounts you mention are not at all inviting to scam players. If it were a few hundred thousand dollars, the story would make more sense.
The amount doesn't matter in any scam accusation no matter how low it is. However, the OP is raising a scam accusation in regards with the technical difficulties on the weekly bonus link as well as unfair amount of weekly bonus provided.

Since the casino or platform mentioned is a reputable platform, OP must provide any evidence to support his claim such as the screenshot of broken weekly bonus link, conversation from customer support, estimated weekly bets and bonuses, and any other evidence that will back up his accusation to the said platform.
993  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educate my community here in Subdivision about Bitcoin on: July 03, 2022, 06:10:02 PM
Its not really that much easy to teach them because they think that you are trying to trick them to scam some money, not to offend you but this will be the first thought comes in our mind when we have no knowledge about bitcoin. Well, if you had the chance to meet people then I will just do it in the reverse way like asking do you know bitcoin or have you heard of bitcoin? And most people will say yes but they don't know what it actually is then you can teach them about how it works like what is blockchain technology, why we call it as decentralized,etc....
Not at all, It will actually depends on how you will be able to incorporate and deliberate your knowledge about bitcoin and crypto to them especially those who lacks knowledge to any information about bitcoin.
Clarification is one the key on how you will be able to explain it to them. Start with the basics and introduce what crypto or bitcoin is then proceed with further more information in a simplified way so they get confused and lost as not all the terminologies can be understood by these people. Also, having a Q and A portion will be key factor to know if they were able to absorb the information you've discussed and to provide clarity on some information.
994  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bear Market thread on: July 03, 2022, 05:18:46 PM

995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Common Types of Bonuses Offered by Online Casinos on: July 03, 2022, 04:40:52 PM
I think that he is talkin about only the crypto casino,

I dont think so since the title says "online casinos" not crypto casinos, means that it is a list of common bonuses in the whole online gambling industry.
Most of these bonuses are applicable on both online casino and crypto casino however there are some bonuses that is only applicable to crypto casino which is possibly which he thought this thread is exclusively for crypto casino only. Also, the OP mentioned a crypto casino which is livecasino.
Along with this one can add weekly bonus, Monthly bonus, rakeback, lossback, VIP bonus
These bonuses are included in the Loyalty (VIP) bonus already as these bonuses are part of the VIP program in the casino (I'm sure you get it from Stake).
One other type of bonuses that can be added to the list is BIRTHDAY BONUS, it is not really common indeed especially in crypto casinos but it is common bonus in Fiat Casino where KYC is mostly mandatory.
Not all casinos are the same that only offers these bonuses for VIP or Loyalty Bonuses. So, I think it's a good thing to mentioned or add it on the list.
996  Economy / Economics / Re: When I started driving. on: July 03, 2022, 03:42:16 PM
Happy 80th Birthday! 🎉 Cheesy Shocked I never expected someone with that age are still into bitcoin, I thought most of the holders are from the age group of 18-50 years old.

Anyways, it looks like almost all things have rise in prices, not only petrol. Within the years, a lot of things have change and inflation have affected almost any type of commodities out there.
997  Local / Pilipinas / Re: DOST naglunsad ng Blockchain Training Program -- on: July 03, 2022, 02:24:46 PM
That's nice! Matagal na pala tong sa Unionbank. Last 2020 pa pala  yung seminar nila about blockchain, Di pako nakakapag enroll since ngayon ko lang nakita. Worth it ba yung pag enroll? I know it's free pero baka about basic blockchain lesson lang yung laman and most likely we know about it. If ever good to I think I can recommend it to my friends.
Kahit basic blockchain lessons or topics to, kung may certification eh di worth it din siguro.

Webinar or face to face?

998  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Report: PH ranks 2nd in ‘ownership of cryptocurrency’ on: July 03, 2022, 11:41:08 AM
<snip>
So pangalawa daw tayo as far as owning bitcoin
<snip>

If I remember correctly, isa tayo sa pinakamaraming players sa axie at ibang NFT games.
999  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is for big bag holders on: July 03, 2022, 10:07:49 AM
Martingale strategy doesn't always work which is what happened on your case. I've tried martingale multiple times and I suffered to many lost using this strategy. Even high rollers lost using this kind of strategy. So no matter how much money you're holding you will still lose and you will lose more than others.
1000  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Another KYC requirements ng coins.ph? on: July 03, 2022, 08:58:10 AM
Payslip not an option sakin, baka mag make up na lang ng business kuno online selling or something. haha
