1201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto stuck in sports betting site, now they want KYC on: February 15, 2022, 03:59:16 PM
I hate to be victim-blaming with this kind of case, you just want to play but now you have $1500 and are confronted with the KYC, that $1500 is almost lost because of the violation of their TOS, casinos records everything time, IP address devices used there's a possibility that your mule's device and location will betray you, they know cheaters and how they worked that is why they have a strong warning they just don't put the warning in the TOS and hoping that their players will just follow.

Sometimes, we tend to break the TOS just to enjoy gambling despite the restrictions but as we take the risk, we should also keep in mind that our funds aren't in a safe place. 1500 is still a huge amount but to be honest, it would be hard for you to recover it. VPNs aren't that safe these days.
That's the thing, why would you need to break the TOS of the gambling platform especially that your money is involved. Maybe because of the thrill of not getting caught or probably that they also think that the gambling website isn't really strict with their rules. Even the OP said that he tried to access the website without using the VPN.
I suggest try other gambling platforms that is available for your country to avoid this kind of issue.
1202  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚡ Thunderpick.com ⚡ Crypto Esports Betting 🎮🖥️🖱️ on: February 15, 2022, 03:00:08 PM
Monthly withdrawal limit resets at 00:00 UTC on 1st of each month. There's a total weekly withdrawal limit for 25'000 EUR; 75'000 EUR monthly per account, this limit cannot be circumvented by using different currencies. We reserve a right to change limits on per-account basis
I feel that this limit is sufficient for most gamblers like me excluding some whales who could simply speak to the customer support in order to try and increase their limits.
Actually, I think that this limit is already too much even for other whales out there. However, it's a good thing that they have some kind of exclusion for special bit time whales out there to increase their withdrawal limit.

Do you have competitions here in the Bitcointalk I would be interested to participate if you plan to run any competitions in the Bitcointalk I think it was also a good way to attract players, I think you have proven yourself legitimate as what I see on some sports betting it was your own competition like the Counter Strike Bitcoin Series.
Their signature campaign is good enough for now, but I do agree with the fact that hosting competitions regularly in the games & rounds section can help advertise the site in a big way as long as they are entertaining.
I guess, it's not a bad thing if they will start any competitions and other promotion now as the signature campaign is mostly for advertising and promoting the platform throughout the forum. Unlike if they also have an active competitions and promotion, they will also have engagement with players. But, let's just wait for them if they will do so in the future as they have recently started beginning their promotions and events at the forum.
1203  Local / Pamilihan / Re: 3-Way Scam? on: February 15, 2022, 11:06:15 AM

From the police report, humingi daw ng pera yung hacker kay person B through FB chat. Malamang eh friends sila person B at C in real life o kaya online tapos pinapalabas na si hacker at seller ay iisang tao o magkakilala.
Salamat sa paliwanag mo, it makes sense now pero kung ganyan tlga ang case, it would be only a matter of time bago iconnect ng mga pulis ang dots [mindless attempt Cheesy].
- They shoot themselves in the foot nung nag file sila ng pulis report.
1204  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Signature campaign earnings and monthly income. on: February 14, 2022, 08:10:45 PM
-Will you quit your job if in a month, you earn more from signature campaign than you do get from working 8am - 4pm?
No, Why would I quit a full time paying job if I can earn from that job while also earning from signature campaign.

-Is it okay to hinge your life on the earnings you get weekly from your signature campaigns?
No, not all campaign can provide your needs on a weekly basis for you to hinge you life on it.

-Has the existence of signature campaigns on this forum eliminated the need to work offline for other people?
I guess there are still some people who abuse the signature campaigns on the forum especially on the altcoin sections.

Bounty programs such as signature campaigns helped me throughout my college days. Also, if you want to go full time on crypto, you may want to explore more on this forum rather than focusing on the signature and bounty campaigns.
1205  Local / Pilipinas / Re: $2.5B in stolen BTC from Bitfinex hack awakens on: February 14, 2022, 07:32:25 PM
I think this website explained it Aljazeera/Bloomberg

1206  Economy / Economics / Re: UK makes first seizure of NFTs in tax crackdown ($ 1.9 million fraud) on: February 14, 2022, 07:16:42 PM
People will always find a way to launder their money and avoid their tax. I guess it's about time they also used NFT as a way to do so Cry . I kinda expect it already as they already used bitcoin and other crypto to do so. The NFT Market right now is too big and mainstream which might also the reason why these people used it. But just as the report said "We constantly adapt to new technology to ensure we keep pace with how criminals and evaders look to conceal their assets,". Authorities will also find a ways to expose these people and avoid these from happening.
1207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto stuck in sports betting site, now they want KYC on: February 14, 2022, 07:01:29 PM
Can you share which casino you are talking about? Do they have official announcement thread or representative in this forum? If they have it, maybe you can post your issue in their thread and you may get better responses and solution for your issue. Although you have made a mistake by using VPN to bypass country restriction, but you are lucky enough that you have made a withdrawal without issue. Mostly, once a casino noticed that you came from restricted countries, the casino will block you and not asking you KYC.
I think it would be worst for him if he will try and post it on the Announcement thread of the said gambling platform, asking assistance regarding this matter as he already exposed himself violating their rules and regulations. Anyway, may be if he did that, he will have a clearer answer such as the gambling sites permanently banning his account.  Roll Eyes

I suggest he take that chance of verifying his account using his friend identity and try to reason out why he was able to use a phone number on a restricted country. But still, your chance of recovering your funds is low on this occasion. You've already taken that risk when you gamble on a site where your country is restricted. Good luck to you OP.

1209  Economy / Economics / Re: Now who are the owner of Bitfinex hacked Bitcoins which are now recovered? on: February 14, 2022, 06:06:52 PM
I was one who had their coins stolen back in 2016 and I don’t think I will get them back even if they were recovered. Basically after the hack they gave everybody some token for their company.

The token went up and I sold and my loss in fiat terms was minimal so I just moved on with my life. Then eventually the token was 1:1 with what was stolen but I already sold.

So most people especially if they held everything got paid back in fiat, not Bitcoin. I doubt they will give us our bitcoins back.
It's great to hear your response on this scenario especially that you are one of the affected users from Bitfinex incident. Also, based from the information you've provided and the information I've read online, it seems like both infos matched. I guess even though that you've almost received most of the amount you've lost at that time in terms of fiat, it's best if you will still receive some percentage of the bitcoin recovered as the price of bitcoin isn't the same as before.

Also, I hope this article is true and hopefully you'll be able to receive some bitcoin that you own way back then.

Even though those are just meme votes, I guess, still it is nice knowing that there are more people believing that bitcoin will reach more than a million dollar rather than those who believe that it will plummet back at 10,000 dollars or less.
Someone who has some satoshi left in his wallet will put in 1 M bet just for fun, we know that is impossible to happen with only 15 days. let alone to 1 M, to number 70K is almost impossible. but that no harm to try it.

~image snip~

Just enabled a lottery ticket because I got surprised when seeing the table that won only have a hundred tickets.
I already have 1000satoshis bet on the 1M bet just for fun. I enjoy seeing the bet polls knowing that there are more meme votes at 1M than those at 10,000 or below. Let's just see if the votes for 10,000 or below will overcome the 1M bet.

Anyway, I am still hoping to be one of the lucky winners at the lottery ticket just like those who won that only have a thousand of tickets or below.

EDIT:
Weekly Lottery - Win Up To $7,500 in BTC on Sunday!

Every week, 10 lucky FreeBitco.in users win a share of $7,500 in BTC through the Weekly Lottery.

These are the TEN LUCKY WINNERS from last week (Round 350) that took home the prizes.

LOOOL!! Most of the winners only have less than 1,000 tickets. And only 3rd place for the 17millions tickets  Shocked

This is a good place to promote their casino with bitcoin payment because this is a forum where bitcoin was born. Just do it like what another website did like roobet, duelbits, sportbet and etc in Games Around board. Yes, we know it certainly needs a big capital to create a game daily and weekly like them. Moreover, there is rarely one who creates a CSGO game on there, maybe there are those who are gambler addicted need refreshing with a new adventure, no harm to try it.
I'm not invalidating the concept that this forum isn't a good place to promote their platform however what I am saying is that there are other websites, platforms or forums where you can promote Thunderpick as well.
Let's just see what Thunderpick has its plans for this forum and whether they will also do events and promotion contest here like other gambling platforms are doing.
~snip~

What the f*** are you trying to express on your messed up statement? Maybe you are using auto translate software just to post here in global thread just to participate on signature campaign. They launch already there signature campaign and they are doing good since they enter here because they are following user suggestion here to improve there Casino to match the preference of user here. Stop spamming using google translate or you will get banned for burst shit posting.

He probably saw the thread only thinking that the project is new is new here at bitcointalk which he suggested for a bounty campaign for him to join to and spam to. Upon checking on his post history, I can confirm that he is just spamming and post bursting.
@Thunderpick, Are you planning to launch your exclusive contest or giveaway here in the forum? I'm waiting for the free bets. Cheesy
+1 for this, also hoping for Thunderpick for other contest or giveaway either here at the forum on at the platform itself.

1213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull Run in Bitcoin on: February 11, 2022, 03:15:47 PM
In 2013 we had a bull run but at that time bitcoin was not known to me. I myself saw the 2017 bitcoin bull run and then we had a massive altcoin bull run. We were expecting the same to happen in 2021 but it did not happen. Some people say that bull run is delayed and some say that next bull run will be after the next halving in 2024.
Yes, there have been a massive bull run on these years however I think this is all related to Bitcoin Halving. I'm exactly sure if it is about that. However most of the bitcoin bull run happens after the halving. Also, there are certain months that this happens which is mostly on December.
I sometimes think that bitcoin and crypto market are now matured and we may not see extended bull or bear runs. Bitcoin will reach a hunderd thousand dollars or more but it won't be a parabolic move. What are your thoughts on this ?
I beg to disagree with this opinion of yours. People has been saying that information that bitcoin or crypto has already reached its matured stage but it's price has been increasing exponentially and haven't been on a steady pace. I guess we will know that it fully matured when almost all of the bitcoin has been mined or before that.

Guys look at the current outcome odds for BITCOIN PRICE - FEBRUARY:

There is more money bet on "More than $1,000,000" than on "$5,001 - $10,000". And how about "$5,000 or less"? Look it up, exactly 3 years ago this would be the most favorite range, and now it's the least favorite? Isn't it amazing how Bitcoin strengthened itself in just 3 years!

Seriously tho, what range to bet on this time? Will we hit a new ATH? Should I bet on this range?

 The odds look pretty good.
Even though those are just meme votes, I guess, still it is nice knowing that there are more people believing that bitcoin will reach more than a million dollar rather than those who believe that it will plummet back at 10,000 dollars or less.
Anyway, based on the current status of bitcoin price chart and its past history that has the same chart, I guess that it's price will pump later on but I am not sure if it will reach a new ATH.

Starting a campaign here is one great act but this does not present they are totally trustworthy because this needs time and proofs to collect.

yeah they seems to be legit but of course time will tell if this can be really trust a worth.
Just for your info, Thunderpick isn’t here from this thread. They are here for quite long time, they have a thread in bitcointalk from 2019- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5160756.0
They are in the industry for a long time. So, your claiming is invalid however, it's true that they need more activity on forum to get engaged with the forum and be trustworthy.
Good thing that you mention this LM, I too thought that Thunderpick only introduced themselves on the forum on the couple of weeks. Anyway, It's great to see so much improvement on their platform. I mean, their old ANN thread did not attract to much attention before. From their, ANN thread to their website and overall have improved in the past years.
Anyway, as for bitterguy28, I don't think just starting a campaign is will make the project trustworthy if they have already prove themselves on other platform other than bitcointalk. However, they might have been just proving themselves more here at the forum that they are trustworthy.

From the registration process to the support system, everything seems smooth. It's a great thing that you've entered the forum fully equipped and well prepared for the possibilities. The deposit bonus is also impressive. I hope that you'll continue the good work so you'll build up a good reputation.
That's just the start of their plan to continue running their platform for gambling. It's a promotion and to gain trust from gamblers. Who would want to gamble on a casino or other gambling site that you cannot trust your funds. In order to gain trust, you must run promotions or events that will attract gamblers and a site that is well equipped like having a customer support 24/7 and many more. Even old gambling sites experienced problems and need the help from their gamblers like in withdrawal process or deposit process.
It common to see things like promotions from gambling platforms however most of the gambling websites that I've visited and gambled on aren't as smooth as this one. I mean, the registration process only took 1-2 minutes of my time unlike other website where the verification email won't be sent real time. Also, not all gambling sites provide a 24/7 customer support so yeah its a good great thing that they have that also.

Anyway, you're correct this is just the start and I can't wait for the upcoming future news and updates that they will provide.
1218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.com.au in probelms for unwanted gambling advertising on: February 10, 2022, 07:18:36 PM
Wow! That's a huge fine! Definitely it's an irresponsible job they have done by sending advertisements to such people who have unsubscribed from them, but the government should have been more reasonable here! Even though this fine is probably not a big thing for sportsbet considering their revenue is around 300 million usd per year, but if it was done by a small company, they would have been forced to close down their operations due to such financial penalty.
That is really not a huge fine especially for gambling company such as sportsbet. However, I think they are just doing this to notify the company about their illegal activities. It would be higher if they'll be able to do it again. Also, the difference on tax that this kind of big company produced compared to a small gambling company is also the reason why they weren't able to do harsh actions on the company.
It's has been made clear the fine levied wasn't against our reputable sportsbet.io I think it would be nice to close the lock the thread to avoid spamming as the raised issue doesn't have much to do with the casinos on the forum. The message is passed and since it should serve as a good warning casinos out there because all the consider is making money and not the health of their customers.
Yup, it has been cleared out by the OP himself at the beginning that this company isn't associated on any way to Sportsbet.io. However since this is a gambling related topic so I think there's no reason for the OP to close the thread other than to avoid spammers.

Because they said i have 3.65 BTC there, but i must put some (little) cash to reach it....  Undecided
LOL, Definitely a scam. Why would you need to cash in if you already have that much amount on the website. I might probably believe it if they ask for Identification but I'll also doubt it even if they ask for identification.

Let me try and do a quick google search on that site.

Edit: Website looks like any a new token website. For me, I'll stay away at this exchange site and try somewhere else.

I'm under no illusion that I'll be rich from any crypto venture I get into (too old for that). I just see myself not doing anything with my modest stash at this site for a year or two, it's more like emergency fun money for me. FUN looks like an option once my stash is enough for 12500, my semi-arbitrary number.
If you are looking for something arbitrary then you could do worse. 12.5k is something that gets you a good return. It means you will start to get some cashback eventually, after a year it will be 0.1 but if you increase it meanwhile for a whole year then it would be even better.

It also means 10% more daily interest which is definitely awesome (not 10% of whole, 10% of the daily interest, so at 4% that means 4.4% interest) and that difference could literally pay the whole deal if you invest enough. Then we have free spins, at 8 a day you are looking at 400 satoshi at the bare minimum, which is 146k satoshi after a year of doing it.

Basically fun token does pay for itself, it gets to be free after a while, all you have to do is buy it, hold it, and use the benefits of it to the max and you will be holding those fun tokens for free and get the money you paid back.
Agreed, FUN tokens really do pay for itself especially in the long term. I mean, you already have tons of FUN tokens on your account and investing it would produce 10% daily interest which can really do produce a lot in the long term especially for that amount.
Anyway, it your choice if you will invest it at FUN tokens or withdraw it and invest somewhere else. However, I suggest you to stick at FUN tokens for now as there have been a lot of on-going things at Fb that can be profitable on the future.
