1462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will you do if Bitcoin hits $1m in the future? on: January 28, 2021, 11:38:05 AM

I will see and wait for the coins price to drop to $100K and then start my own business. I live my poor life since the time I was born I guess the chain will finally break that I can give my kids a bright future. As to what I would do, I will buy properties to manage myself like Airbnb. And perhaps invest to staking coins where I could earn passive incomes like the ETH, ADA and EOS.
I don't understand why you'll wait for the price to drop to $100k to start a business when you should have started your business when it's on the ATH as you'll have more money to invest with and start your business. Anyway, If bitcoin reaches 1m$ and dump at a $100k then we might see it's price to be stable at that range instead of a million as a massive drop of 90% is way too high.

As for answering the OP if bitcoin reaches $1m, I would sold half of my coins then hold for the other half for further investment on bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. The half that I will see will be put on properties and investment such as franchise and many more. With this, I will still be on crypto while having a passive income on the my investments.
1463  Economy / Economics / Re: Are people losing faith from centralized organizations? on: January 25, 2021, 08:39:06 AM
I am not sure they are losing confidence in bank but or maybe due to the current financial emergency. Individuals have misplaced employments whereas a few are getting half compensation so by and large, individuals will make more withdrawal than storing cash that has not been winning amid the emergency. We can conversation around individuals lining to pull back their money. I think that's moreover anticipated additionally individuals need to have free get to their cash at any time they need it which is reason why numerous lean toward to hold their cash.
Most of the people have lost jobs and or have been on a skeletal workforce which may have force them to withdraw their fund instead of depositing. The pandemic is the caused of this and not the distrust of individuals to banks.
Regarding about the increase of investors on bitcoin compared to before, I might say that due to event or the bitcoin halving is one of the reason why investors are eyeing on bitcoin for some quick profit and may also be there for the long run.
1464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another insane win!! $ 1B mega million jackpot on: January 25, 2021, 01:58:55 AM

A deduction by more than 60% is a robbery not taxation, imo. If lottery tickets are subject to sales tax then the winnings should be tax free
And I used to think the 25% my country imposes on lottery winnings was unfair!.

Still, ~$400 million is a huge amount of money so congratulation to the winner, whoever he is.
I think the most taxed thing is the lottery system which is also a common and expected thing when you're betting on it. What I didn't know is that it will be as much as 60% of the winnings  Shocked I thought that it'll be as much as 50%. In this case, it's more like your taxing the government when you're winning the lottery  Grin
Anyway, I'll take whatever I can get when I won the lottery whether if the government takes 70% from it.
1465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: People die from heart attack when they hit the jackpot. on: January 25, 2021, 12:58:41 AM
It might have cross through my mind at some point but I didn't expect that these really do happen. Knowing that you've won a ton of cash or a jackpot on a lottery surely will bring you too much happiness and the excitement of how that will change your life. Even I when gambling became too nervous and too excited even with low-to-mid range of bets that I even feel my heart is pumping too much.
Anyway, It's sad to know that these kind of death really happen but dying from these kind of excitement could be one of the greatest way to die  Roll Eyes .
1466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin advertising by celebrities. on: January 25, 2021, 12:26:46 AM
Personally, celebrities do not have enough quality and knowledge to advertise bitcoin in an appropriate way. RIght now, Bitcoin price is too high and if people intend to invest their money after listening to an unknown artist, they can suffer a big loss. People will soon understand how to use bitcoin by themselves
Agreed, Celebrities don't have enough knowledge about bitcoin and it's rare to see somehow who doesn't even understand the blockchain and crypto to advertise it. They are only used for their popularity purposes such as the OP exampled. I doubt that rapper has any knowledge about crypto. Investors might not be interested on it but their followers and supporters might, which is the whole point of why they are being hired to advertised the platform.
1467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dont stay in crypto too long on: January 23, 2021, 08:15:41 PM
I thinking you are looking at it from the down side. Regulation will not overthrow Bitcoin and no government will come for your Crypto asset unless if you acquire then in a fraudulent way. Crypto gives freedom but your freedom needs to be guided.
I don't see the reason how the government will have the right to regulate bitcoin and other crypto. First of all, HOW? Bitcoin and most crypto out there are decentralized which gives every user freedom on control and their identity.
There might be some crypto that the government may regulate but it won't be bitcoin and major cryptocurrency such as ETH and BCH. XRP is one the crypto that isn't decentralized which might the government may control but I don't see how these coins will be able to surpass BTC and ETH.
Let the government control fiat and centralized crypto but I don't see how it will affect BTC.
1468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: January 2021 — share your gambling experiences on: January 23, 2021, 06:14:24 AM
I tried not to gamble this 2021 but after trying some small bets on lottery and dice, I started losing so my instinct is to go and bet more to gain what I've lost. I think you already know what happened next  Grin
Up until now, even after wins and losses, I'm still on a negative balance and I aim to earn what I've lost and I hope it won't get higher. So, yeah, I'm on the negative side and still betting.  Undecided

Sports and e-sports gambling made me return some of losses though. Might gamble this way until I earn what I've lost and return to casino games right after for those instant win  Grin
1469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Had you sold your Bitcoins ? on: January 23, 2021, 06:02:07 AM
I am not brave yet investing on bitcoin because with little money I think hard to get much profit so I change my way to invest on altcoin how ever many have potential altcoin still lower price, bitcoin take much money I think if wanna get profit but with altcoin maybe $500 more enough and could earn more than 100% profit every time depend with cheaper coin price will have big chance to get profit, but now still waiting what Bidden impact after become United President, he will support with cryptocurrency or going on to ban bitcoin like happening before on Donald Trump president.
Investment on altcoins is more complex and more risky than any other well-known crypto such as XRP, ETH, BCH, BTC, USDT etc,. Unlike these well-known cryptos, most altcoin rarely have any updates on and are likely to go dump depending on how the team of each crypto manage their coins. But yeah, the return is high once they hit the market.
Anyway, it's better to hold on coins with much strong market and only trade and invest on altcoins when you wanna have a quick buck. I too still haven't managed to invest and hold unto my coins as I needed the fiat money for my studies but once I have a stable job, I'll more likely to invest on bitcoin especially before the next halving.
1470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else still regret not buying Bitcoin in 2011? on: January 23, 2021, 01:33:35 AM
I don't think you can't blame them, I mean, who thought that bitcoin will be a thing of the future. Most people at that time we're skeptic about bitcoin and doesn't even think that it will even reach a thousand dollars but years passed and it reached the thousand dollar mark but it dump afterwards. Also, Bitcoin being a bubble is also a thing that investors fear about it.
Anyway, I don't regret anything about bitcoin as I haven't invested any money but time and effort for me to earn. It also helped me a lot financially as college student.
What I might rather regret is why I only figured and heard bitcoin on 2016 and not earlier. If only I've known bitcoin way way back then it might helped me earlier and I might have be more invested on it.
1471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the ultimate winner of Bitcoin pump? on: January 23, 2021, 01:24:45 AM
You're talking like it's all over OP, but it's not. I'll give it about 90% probability that it's not yet a reversal into a bear market and that we will see a continuation of this bull run later this year. We are where we were at 3000 dollars in 2017. Compare these two events on the chart and you'll see how similar they are.

Those who benefit the most are always people who catch the top and sell but how many are there? 1% of all investors? The second to benefit are holders.
I don't think that the current bull run will continue later this year, I might have to disagree with you. What I see on the market right now, is that we are heading on a bear market and later to be on the price correction. We might not reach the ATH that happened weeks ago.
Also, If you compare the bull run that happened to 2017 and this year, you'll see a lot of difference. Referring the bear market of bitcoin's price of 3000 to today's dump is kinda ridiculous. We haven't seen the bear market yet and we are about face it soon.

Anyway, those who benefit the most hear are those who have invested a lot and those who have tons of bitcoins laying around. It's only about how much they've gained and profited on the ATH. People who have bitcoins ever since 2016 and sold their assets today or even before the ATH is a winner as the price comparison from both times are huge. People who've invested on bitcoin before ATH and sold at ATH are winners also as they've made profit on it.

Regarding this particular Wheel of Fortune, what can possibly be sad about playing the game? You can either win a small prize or a big one, but you can't lose anything in the process cos it's free to play. Wink

From the economic perspective, I can't imagine how FreeBitco.in can stay afloat, while giving away so much. But they do stay afloat apparently. Good job! Smiley
I am also wondering how freebitcoin is still around while giving away huge amount of prizes every now and then. Freebitcoin was there when I started bitcoin and it's one of the faucet sites I've been at the beginning.
Right now, tons of prizes and events has been added on it such as the Wheel of Fortune which is also free for everyone. Except for the gambling part of the website, there's ton of rewards which free users can enjoy. For me, seeing that wheel spins as it goes by those huge rewards, I feel excitement and hope that somehow it'll land on it. Unfortunately, I've been winning small rewards and as of now my biggest win is this and I'm satisfied with it.

After winning 5000RP on yesterday's wheel of fortune, this is what I got today: I'm feeling that I'll win bigger rewards on the tomorrow's spin. My luck has been boosted from the continuous low rewards I've been receiving.

This psychological tactic works more often than not. Personally, I get tempted whenever I see wheels spinning or whenever I receive scratch cards with hidden rewards even though I know deep down that I probably will earn an insignificant amount.

This is why I usually try and avoid such stuff whenever possible in order to resist the temptations. Sadly, most gamblers cannot resist fall prey to such temptations.

Most of them don't realise that such games usually have the highest house edge when compared to games like Dice, Baccarat etc.
