1021  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Central Bank Digital Currencies Kill Cryptocurrencies ? on: June 30, 2022, 02:35:20 PM
Saying that these currencies will kill cryptocurrencies is an exaggeration for several reasons, the most important of which are:
- There are fundamental differences between the two currencies, and one cannot substitute for the other with the same characteristics.
- Encrypted currencies have become a reality, and if someone intends or wants to kill them, there are also many who do not aspire to that and prefer decentralized encrypted currencies over central ones.
There will more and more reasons as to why these digital currencies will never kill or replaced cryptocurrency especially bitcoin. Both of these reason are correct as cryptocurrencies and digital currencies will not be same and both will have its own supports and critic. In case this will how governments will transition in the future, both type of currency will coexist with each other and cryptocurrencies will still be considered as an asset, investment and a volatile currency.
1022  Economy / Economics / Re: How would a global economic recession affect Bitcoin's price? on: June 30, 2022, 01:56:55 PM
Global Economic Recession certainly makes many difficult things and the fastest impact is that investors will sell cryptocurrencies, although profit opportunities are very high but investors really need cash for many needs and when recession occurs, automatically makes the market red automatically.
Some crypto investors might probably sell or convert their cryptocurrencies into fiat to have cash in hand in this situation where recession occurs. However, things might be different to other investors who decided to convert crypto to fiat not because they need cash but rather they need to cut loss or
to put a stop on their trading activities to avoid future loses.
Also, there will be investors who will decide to hold as this recession might ignite or probably goes in a different direction for cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin which the OP stated.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it possible to control Gambling behaviors? on: June 30, 2022, 10:40:56 AM
Is this possible according to your opinion and what are the tips that can be followed?
To answer your question, Yes, it is possible to control or avoid gambling addiction however it will depends on the individual or the gambler if they are willing to do so.
One of the best thing for you to control your gambling activity is not to gamble for financial purpose only as you'll be desperate to gamble to earn more money and possibly greed will consume you. Also, having a hobby to keep your mind out of gambling would also help you out a lot as you will not focused to gambling. Self discipline and budgeting would also help you limit your gambling activities.
1024  Economy / Gambling / Re: Alternatives to 1xbit on: June 29, 2022, 04:17:58 PM
Currently there are many trusted gambling sites that you can play on but you should not play on new gambling sites and do not have large backup funds. In the gambling business, many problems are often found, such as operators who cheat and also users who cheat (manipulating bonuses, promotions, etc.). So the gambling sites that have survived until now are those that already have a new system and also large loyal users such as stake, roobet, 1xbit, primedice and betfury.
Yes, there are many trusted gambling sites out there, even fresh gambling sites can be more trusted than 1xbit. Also, In the gambling business, there many problems that the platform and users may encounter however operators who cheat and refuse to provide assistance to their users is one of them just like what 1xbit is.
So don't suggest 1xbit as an alternative for 1xbit.
1025  Economy / Gambling / Re: Alternatives to 1xbit on: June 29, 2022, 12:10:00 PM
I don't know what is the main intentions for this thread since you are pointing 1xbit as scam while saying that 1xbet is trust worthy when there are also similar threads saying that those 2 are managed and run by same team/person.

so are you shilling for 1xbet? just a question . .
I'm not too sure that OP's main intention is to shill the platform 1xbet. He only mentioned that he came from that gambling platform which has a similar name from 1xbit and that's why he would like to confirm it's reputation. He did not also mentioned anything good from that platform as well.

Anyways, Yes, As far as I also know both platform came from the same company and both also has a suspicious reputation. Probably, OP got lucky that he did not got scammed from that website.
1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to gambling with money. on: June 29, 2022, 08:36:33 AM
Perhaps it is one of the methods used by the casinos to limit the addiction problem that could get bigger.
I am not getting this statement correct, one of the method used by casinos to limit addiction? But what I only see is that the only people that will not later use their money to gamble are people that have no money, once they have money, they will just only realized they use some of their money to begin real gambling to enjoy the best fun of it rather than playing with fake money
Casinos would never use a method that will not help them profit much less limiting their gamblers or users on their addiction to gambling. Fake gambling or gambling using fake money doesn't provide the same thrill from the real thing as you'll be earning or doubling your money when gambling. Fake gambling would rather be use to promote and guide new users or any users to familiarise with gambling platform and probably create strategies for the real thing.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips on how I controlled my Gambling addiction. on: June 29, 2022, 07:06:39 AM
HOW I DID GET TO SOLVING THAT PROBLEM

1•I penalized myself by having myself deassociated from all kind of gambling friends and taking up a new friends who was into Bitcoin and have that time transferred to things related to crypto currency activities and it was actually part of what lead me into my discovery of Bitcoin and today here I am.

4• Relocating from my house to another area where my friends could not find me easily because there was this pressure from them why I suddenly started to ignoring them so I had to relocate.
Based from these reasons, it looks like one of the major issue why you were addicted to gambling is because of peer pressure. So, I guess that is also the reason why you decided to bet even your college tuition or fees. Anyways, it's a good thing that you were able to identify the peer pressure you've felt and was able to avoid and stop it. However, you have made extreme measures to stop your gambling addiction.

As for me, the only common situation we've had is that I've also lost and got broke and have decided to control and minimize my gambling expenditures. Also, having a support (either a friend or someone you know) and a hobby will help your gambling addiction.
1028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to gambling with money. on: June 29, 2022, 06:27:13 AM
Gambling thru games that doesn't involve real money might probably help other gambler to avoid gambling with real money and stop them from doing it. However, I doubt that it will work for everyone especially those who has gambling addiction. There are various applications that offer gambling games without betting real money especially with card games however these players still try to use real money to top up when losing. Also, one of the reason why gamblers gamble is to earn money through these games, which is also why these might not probably assist or help on aiding their gambling addiction and activities.
1029  Economy / Gambling / Re: Alternatives to 1xbit on: June 29, 2022, 03:16:56 AM
I think the op means something else when he means to find an alternative to 1xbit. The 1xbit software on their platform is very powerful and has a very wide range of sporting events. I think there are several sites that run on the same api, but I'm not sure if they are all based on the use of crypto. The sites indicated by people are also good alternatives, but in terms of offer it is a lot less than 1xbit.
Nope, the OP does not mean something else. The OP is asking for alternative website or platform other than 1xbit as the platform has a lot of issues, suspicious and scam activities. Which is why he would like to know other platform other than 1xbit.

Which casinos are overall loved around here?
Which one is safe to deposit my money on?
Which one is your personal favorite?
There are alot of gambling website that are loved by the forum members such as Sportsbet, Stake, Freebitco.in, Cloudbet, Primedice and many more. You can try exploring each platform and see which one fits you most as each of these platforms offers great bonuses and events for it's users. It is also safe to deposit your funds on these platforms as they have been on the gambling industry for a long time.
1030  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculators : Bitcoins is up now 21k buy buy buy ! but... on: June 26, 2022, 07:42:56 PM
It's for you to interpret whether the current bearish market makes bitcoin as Scam or a Ponzi scheme. However, you must keep in mind that not only did crypto market but rather even the stock market and real states has been affected with the bearish trend. Also, these kinds of cycle of bearish and bullish trend is normal with bitcoin and other cryptocurrency as they are volatile.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you Considered a Career in Betting Consultancy? on: June 26, 2022, 06:43:23 PM
Selling the idea is the key, I don't know its true that they are providing more accurate odds but it looks like a good business but he had enough reputation before executing the idea so it becomes more successful. But still there are others who can do better analysis with no revenue at all because we can't actually differentiate them from the shady ones all over the world so for an average joe its fir from achieving in short term.
Unfortunately, Betting Consultant are most likely only exclusive for high ranking people or those who are rich as these kinds of services are not for avegare joe. Also, it requires a lot of reputation so they will need to provide proofs about they're successful rate when gambling or betting.
Just like what we've seen on movies, there are rich people who hire extremely good gamblers and high percentage gambler analyst to help bet and gamble on exclusive matches.
1032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As some people want bulls some people want bears, bitcoin like season on: June 26, 2022, 06:04:52 PM
Comparing bitcoin cycle to weather season is one way to interpret how Bitcoin's price and market are changing. We may all have experience the bullish and bearish on the crypto market multiple times for the past few years and we all have seen the pattern whereas we just need to wait for the bullish market to arrive again in the next few months. Some people may not like the current bearish market as they have lost funds and it's harder to invest but there are some who take it as an advantage to invest more. Just like how people hate the rain while some enjoy it.
1033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Crossed 20k USD!! Don’t lose hope now. on: June 26, 2022, 04:25:32 PM
Bitcoin may come down again in a few days. However, at present Bitcoin is fluctuating between 21,000. This situation will not last long. Those who are interested in investing in Bitcoin should wait a few more days. Buy Bitcoin prices are actually on a downward trend step by step. I hope you will benefit .

I would not be so certain that this will only take a couple of days. I would be happy if it would be so quick and then back to better days, but "hope for the best, but prepare for the worse", you know... this bear market may still take months...
Surely, it will take a couple of months for us to see rational changes on the value of bitcoin. We really couldn't think that the current price increase will be start start of it as it is still fluctuating within the 20,000 USD price range. But still let's look on the bright side, the price of bitcoin is kinda settling in within the 20,000 USD and we don't see any sign that it will dip anytime soon.
1034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become a global currency ? on: June 26, 2022, 03:38:40 PM
hey to bitcoin is already become global currency no government no border just live on the internet and fly around thin air  Cool Grin

but to replace fiat umm i dont think so gov allowed it as investment that most gov still acceptable
Bitcoin may be considered as a Global currency by most people but there are some people who will think that bitcoin as an asset or investment due to its volatility on it's value. Also, "no government no border", Unfortunately, there are government who restrict the usage of bitcoin or even ban or made crypto illegal to their country such as China.

Anyway, I agree that bitcoin will never replace fiat however other centralized crytocurrency where the government support might replace fiat in the near future.
1035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is BTC transaction so slow on: June 26, 2022, 02:35:48 PM
Haven't you heard of the Lightning network? Moreover there are new solutions being built like scannable chips, paper-like "vouchers" from which those who scan them can claim a certain amount of Bitcoin instantly. We have great minds developing on the Bitcoin network so we should only expect incrementally better solutions for making day-to-day payments.

Nevertheless, I think Bitcoin's main use case is being a store-of-value asset and not a currency to use for mundane expenses.
Lightning Network or LN might be a great and ideal use especially if you're dealing with a transaction in a real time matter as it provides a fast transaction. Unfortunately, not all wallet provides option to use LN on them which is one of the conflict that must be done. Also, just as the OP did not use or may not know LN, more people doesn't really understand how LN work.
1036  Economy / Economics / Re: WHY ITS SO POSITIVE THIS BEARMARKET. on: June 26, 2022, 02:23:47 PM
That’s indeed needed, the cleaning of garbage is always needed time to time but the problem with crypto ecosystem is, the more you clean it the more it becomes messy here. There are huge collection of shitcoins and more and more keeps coming everyday.

You can’t clean it but you can ignore it all the time. Just to keep it less messy I’m always opting out for bitcoin, ether, and bunch of mineable coins. You know that Short and simple strategy.
There might be a lot of shitcoins that has been taken out during the bear market however there are good coins that has been affected along the way. Also, you can never clean out shitcoins since alot of people have been creating them easily and there are someone who are willing to invest on it due to the quick profit it provide to early investors. So whether the market is bullish or bearish, there will always be a market for shitcoins out there.
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Type of Gambler Am I? on: June 26, 2022, 01:45:15 PM
professional gambler yet also a compulsive gambler as well.

I'm doubt about that. Some of this types still contradictory to each other, like compulsive gambler and professional. So you can't be a professional and compulsive gambler at the same time. Do not confuse "compulsive" with "cinematic emotions"

True, compulsive and professional gambling are two conflicting traits of a gambler.  The problem here is that often time a compulsive gambler mistakenly thinks that they are a professional gambler.  Grin
Understandable, even though compulsive and professional gambler might have conflicting traits with each other but still there are some professional gambler that will get carried away and will do irrational decision that will lead them to their lost.
I have watch multiple gambling session whereas a well-known professional gambler who is on a win streak will end up losing as they got carried away with their winnings.
1039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Short story] How do I use bitcoin as a means of payment! on: June 26, 2022, 09:57:29 AM
It's great to hear that you were able to used bitcoin as a means of payment for your property however I hope that you didn't at this situation. If crypto transaction is illegal on your country, then are various ways for you to pay the property without getting in trouble, you could've just turned your crypto into fiat then bought the property as documenation and taxes apply on these transactions.

Anyways, as for me, the only transaction where I was able to use bitcoin as a payment was when I was at a mall and there was a Dental Clinic that accepts bitcoin as payment.
1040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you Considered a Career in Betting Consultancy? on: June 26, 2022, 09:19:31 AM
There's few users in this forum had opening this kind services and then since many users doubting their credibility, AFAIK the thread died and no one seems interested with it. It's doesn't make sense since if they're genuine analyst, why they not benefit themself with his analysis that have high potential win? can be said as always since gambling is still has a risk. This question is the reason why many users don't want to trust them, though there's a newbie will try due to his greediness.
The main reason why these kind of service doesn't hold it's value on the forum since most of them does not provide any kind of proof from their service. Also, most of the users that provides this kind of service are low ranks that doesn't have any substantial post on them and doesn't have any trust rating on their account.

Would you even consider these services if they don't have any creditials or claims from their work, and has a low rank that doesn't have any trust rating? No, right?
