1041  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which crypto sportbooks are VPN friendly on: June 26, 2022, 05:39:33 AM
Sportsbet.io I have tried on three occasions to bet using a VPN because my ISP during the International last yr kinda sucks. Well my account is still intact, although at the time it wasn't clear whether my country isn't serviced by the casino or not. No written terms on my country, I just gambled on my gamble and said 'fuck it' anyway. I'm not comfortable doing it because I may have broken some terms without me knowing but yeah, 1 year in and nothing happened so far.

They will accept deposits but if you win enough, then they will do KYC.
I guess it might still depend on the amount and how much you've used VPN to access the website. I've also tried to used VPN on the website however I still was able to withdraw on the website and continue playing.

Just as dothebeats said, he only tried using VPN on the website for three times yet his account is still active and still continue to gamble.

Anyways, As for OP, most of the gambling platform as of now will allow you to use VPN for a few times before they detect it as suspicious activity and require you to do KYC. I suggest you that you have a backup plan before gambling your funds to avoid losing it.
1042  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why Bitcoin will never go to zero on: June 25, 2022, 06:01:43 PM
Something I don't quite understand is why is China so concerned about BTC that are spending a lot of resources just to discredit BTC, but the more they do this, the more BTC gain more popularity. They should give up already.
BTC will never die and will never become zero.
Other than China is mainly against with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency, I don't know their propaganda but they will do anything to spread fake news, countless banning and continue to try take advantage of the current and any bearish market on crypto to provide negative campaign on it.
Anyways, my guess is they're really are against decentralization which is one of the main factor on cryptocurrency especially bitcoin.
1043  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Age of bitcoiners on: June 25, 2022, 04:55:04 PM
I did not think that there would be such a small number of people between the ages of 18-22. This result actually surprised me. Actually, when I think about it, most of the bitcoin interested people you meet on the forum or social life were over 40 years old. I see that people with more life experience are more knowledgeable and profitable about bitcoin. People of that age are usually more courageous than the younger ones. And unfortunately, the people who hold the most bitcoins are not young people.
To be honest, the data and survey results doesn't really surprised me as each bracket of age has it's own reason as to why the amount or percentage of crypto/bitcoin holders are that amount. I mean, on the age bracket of 18-22, there's not many people who are willing to risk their allowance or their salary on cryptocurrency. However if you look on the bracket of 25-40 years old, more people are currently holders with these age as most of them are looking for investments other than stocks, and real states.
1044  Local / Pilipinas / Re: WORTH IT PA BA? on: June 25, 2022, 02:25:55 PM

1045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Type of Gambler Am I? on: June 25, 2022, 01:01:56 PM
Many of this types are not contradictory to each other.

For example, "social gamer" can be a "compulsive gambler" at the same time.
Also i can't find direct type which would fit me personally. I have traits from at least like 3 types of gamblers: social gambler ( major source of relaxation and entertainment), conservative gambler (modest budget or time limit) and professional gambler (Patience, self-control)

I have a better classification:
- addicted to gambling
- not addicted

 Grin
There might be different type if gambler but it doesn't state that the gambler or us can only be one type of gambler. You might be a serious social gambler and a compulsive gambler at the same time.

It also state there that there is Professional Gambler yet thereare gamblers out there that are professional gambler yet also a compulsive gambler as well.

As for me, I am a Casual Gambler, Conservative and a Relief and Escape gambler. I rarely gamble when I have a time and sometimes I follow a strict budget depending on my financial situation. Also, gambling also provides me relief and relaxations when I have a problem.
1046  Economy / Economics / Re: How Will Investing Help the Economy of a Country on: June 25, 2022, 10:40:35 AM
I don't agree that investing in crypto is an opportunity both reliable and trusted. Although I don't discount the potential return an investor could earn from crypto investments, this huge market is actually full of despicable projects that only drained a lot of people of their life savings.

Anyway, investment basically helps the economy because investment is capital. The larger the capital is, the more a company can do. A company with a million dollar in capital can only contribute a little as compared to a company that has a billion in capital. This further means jobs and tax revenue.
Investing in crypto might provide investors huge return however it really does depends on the crypto project that you're investing on if they'll be able to provide assistance and growth to the economy of a country. Most of the crypto investment out has a few usecase that will help people.

But when it comes to investment on stocks of a company, just as you've said, the more investment, the more capital the conpany has. This also means, it'll provide more jobs and opportunities to the people of once's country.
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you trust a gambler with your money/savings? on: June 24, 2022, 03:41:16 PM
- Are gamblers eligible to hold financial positions?
Depends, but mostly no. If the gambler is able to maintain his financial situation as well as control his gambling activity and profession. Also, I can only trust my gambler with my limited funds depending on there financial situation.
- Do problem gamblers deserve a second chance to hold a financial position?
On this case, I would probably say no as well as it'll be harder to trust them if they previously had an issue or problem with their gambling activities.
1048  Economy / Gambling / Re: KYC casino or no-KYC casino, but with no bonuses/no cashback? on: June 24, 2022, 02:47:34 PM
Actually, if any of the gambling casino that has a KYC requirements are much more safer compared to a casino that has no Kyc where it is prone to loss your winning price in the gambling casino. I don't know if you get what I'm talking about, therefore I would rather for a casino with KYC, and I know most of the crypto gamblers will be much in favor with this idea here in this field of business.
Just to clarify, You would rather choose to provide your identification or do the KYC process depending on the security of the online casino and also that has much lesser chance of losing on the platform, am I correct?

There are already various gambling website that offers security and trust to it's clients and gamblers that only requires to do the KYC process depending on your account status or if there is a suspicious activity on the account. Also, if there's a chance that you'll lose your winning price, then probably the gambling site is already a scam.

1050  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Casinos Vs Ethereum Casinos on: June 24, 2022, 10:44:55 AM
When you say Ethereum-based casino do you mean Dapps? If yes, then I suggest you gamble with them if you main use Ethereum as your main crypto when gambling since they have their own platform for it. However, you must choose your the Dapp platform that you'll gambling with as there are a lot of it.

I prefer to gamble on bitcoin-based casino as some of them also offer other cryptocurrency on their platform. Anyway, it on each of everyone's preference to gamble with normal crypto gambling platform or try Dapps for Ethereum-based platforms.
1051  Other / Archival / Re: Anyone have a paid Chegg account?! on: June 24, 2022, 09:33:03 AM
This suggestion might be late or even your friend might not even need it anymore but I'll say it anyways. You can try posting your Chegg link on Reddit as there are some groups there that will accept payment per question.

Also, you can try to check out this website as it provide a screenshot of the answer for your activities or exams that is available on the Chegg website. The website is homeworkify, I've using this website as reference for solutions on some exams. Not all answer or solution is available on the website especially if there's no answer to unblur on you chegg link.
1052  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Paano mahanap ang best cryptocurrency? on: June 23, 2022, 04:41:12 PM
Lahat ng crypto down kasama na bitcoin diyan -75% na nga down ng btc from ATH e so hindi stable actually its very volatile just like any other crypto ganyan naman talaga kapag bear market expect the worst pero after naman niyan uptrend na naman yan cycle lang talaga ang nagyayari so dapat expected na natin to na talagang magdown lahat including btc.

1053  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China warns Bitcoin is heading to zero on: June 23, 2022, 04:01:23 PM
Not gonna lie — they totally sucked at FUDding on this one. They could've probably used something that could convince the normies far easier such as the "quantum computing will break Bitcoin's security" or something like that.
Will all the FUDding and bad mouth that China has made against bitcoin and cryptocurrency, they couldn't really convinced a lot of people with these kind of antics. But, I can kinda admit it that they have FUDding cryptocurrency for a long time and may have affected bitcoin's price and market but I doubt that they'll be able to lower the price of bitcoin with this one.

Anyways, It's kinda funny if they'll say that or anything that includes "Quantum" like "Bitcoin's Blockchain technology has been exposed with all of it's flaws through Quantum computation from researchers from China".
1054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Length of Time Before You Learn All These Gambling Terms Or Jargons on: June 23, 2022, 02:54:41 PM
In your experience how long or the Length of Time Before You Learn All These Gambling Terms Or Jargon like wage, seed, provably fair, martingale, and so on.

This depends how serious is someone in gambling. Like me who doesn't gamble often, I still don't fully understand those terms. I only know about that martingale because I tried that strategy once when I gambled.

I also don't think that casual gamblers know much about those terms, as long as their gambling experience has no issue then they won't bother to know how those terms work completely.
It's really hard to understand all of the terminologies in the gambling industry. Those who are very dedicated to gambling will know most of them as some of the terminologies are needed to be researched and some of them are exclusively used in some gambling games only.

I myself who occasionally gamble for the past few years still can't understand most of the terminologies as I mostly gamble on dice, and sportgames. Martingale which is one of the most common strategy in dice games can be heard in various discussions however there are other strategy out there. Upon doing a quick google search, I've recently found out that there are other martingale strats out there like inverse- martingale, break-even martingale and many more.
1055  Economy / Gambling / Re: KYC casino or no-KYC casino, but with no bonuses/no cashback? on: June 23, 2022, 02:07:25 PM
It's best not to KYC, especially when gambling since we're dealing with our money, especially for crypto online gambling which has the main purpose to restrict people from knowing our identity. So, I choose to gamble on a website that will not require users to do KYC. Also, if these online casinos will try to do something like this that will give priority to KYC users than non-KYC users, then it will impact them greatly as whales and high rollers prepare to keep their identity to themselves.

Probably this kind of question will better fit online casinos that don't involve cryptocurrency and have an offline location so that users will be able to contact and go to their location in case a problem arises.
1056  Economy / Economics / Re: if you think 18k btc is low wait until autumn ... on: June 22, 2022, 04:08:26 PM
I hope that the price doesn't fall again, today there was a small correction that made bitcoin another chance to drop below $20k, if this happened it would certainly cause panic like before, focus on the goal of profit, namely not to panic when the market drops.
Hate to break it for you but there's a possibility that bitcoin may even drop lower than the current price but not as low as OP is referring. There's still a possibility that bitcoin and other crypto may even go lower on the following months however there's no need for us to panic as it is normal.

No worries, it is highly improbable that bitcoin will even go lower as 500-1000 USD as there are a lot of factors that will avoid this from happening. One factor would be support from certain price range. Also, the OP referring for whales cashing out will cash in on a lower price range. Let's just observe how the market goes and make our decision on how we can make profit with this kind of market.
1057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wechat tag violation rule on cryptocurrency accounts on: June 22, 2022, 02:32:48 PM
Being one of the main country that is against cryptocurrency especially with bitcoin, these kind of news are kinda expected from them. WeChat is one of main social media platform where users especially the citizen of China, use for transaction. With this banning and strict protocol they've made to restrict users on using crypto, it will totally affect holders from China however they may just find other ways to do transaction on other platform instead as communication has been cutted off. Anyways, they've already banned cryptocurrency on their country yet it's people are still continuously using it.
1058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Government Owned Online Casinos What Do You Think Of Its Potential on: June 22, 2022, 01:36:24 PM
Will they get enough support, will they get a huge slice of the market that is ruled by companies, they have the funds and they have the reputation because they are government who are more established and will be more compliant

Surely they'll be able to receive enough support or maybe even more than what they expect them to. I mean, being one of the main countries that support and provide casinos, they surely have a connection to huge organizations and other entities to provide enough support on their transition to an online casino.

It's actually an advantage for them to go online and provide their network with enough support and provide the needs of their clients and gamblers.
1059  Local / Pilipinas / Re: DOST naglunsad ng Blockchain Training Program -- on: June 22, 2022, 11:07:28 AM
Ang tanong iyong certification ba na binigay ay recorded thru a blockchain ledger or same old same old na PaperBased na may kalakip na kung anu-anong palamuti.

Or NFT-like ang certificate.

Also, sobrang useful nitong mga certificate na ito since applicable ito as reference kapag mag-aapply ka on a blockchain or crypto company.

Hindi ako fan ng NFT at hindi ko rin gets kung magkakaroon man ng NFT-like certification.
1060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: June 22, 2022, 10:09:13 AM
Most gamblers usually use their own money in fiat to gamble and if they manage to win some amounts, they convert it immediately so they will have funds to gamble again for the next day. These bitcoin dumps won't be a concern for them as the value will still be the same if they always convert it immediately. If you're a gambler and a trader or investor, then you should have separate funds on those activities.
There might be some gamblers who instantly withdraw their funds and convert them to fiat however not all gamblers do the same techniques. There is some gambler who let their funds stay on the platform until they reached some goal or maybe not at all and only withdraw them when they need them. Also, I don't think they really based their gambling funds on fiat but rather on crypto that they prefer such as bitcoin, ethereum, or other cryptocurrencies. So they might really not be affected much whether the price changes or not since they're basing their funds through crypto and not on fiat.

It really depends on the preference of the gambler whether they'll be basing their gambling activity through crypto or fiat.
