1281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a business on: March 30, 2021, 04:42:25 PM
Gambling should only be a business for the company or the casino itself and not for the gamblers. Most gambling games chances of winning can be boosted with the help of knowledge, research and strategies but it cannot only depend on these factors as luck and the house itself most dictates your chances of winning.

Professional gamblers are most often find on card games as most of be strategize such as poker. A simple bluff can cost you a fortune or make you a fortune and it all depends on how you are able to interpret your stand. But even with a strong card and being a pro can also produce a loss when someone holds a strong card.

So no, you shouldn't interpret gambling alone as a business but a rather an extra way to have fun and be able to have a chance of earning money.

has anyone claimed recently reward from points? (threshold 100K RP)
is it still 1:1 rate ?

Not going to exchange mine. Smiley I had 50k+ RPs two months ago and decided to be redeeming them, from time to time, to be getting additional lottery tickets for each free roll, 100 TICKETS / ROLL, namely. No wins so far, but I still have 5k RPs, and keep winning good amounts of them on the Wheel of Fortune, so maybe I'll win more than 0.001 BTC with the lottery eventually. Smiley

I don't quite get the point of this reply.

By the way yes, the ratio is still 1:1 but all it takes to verify is going in the MORE | REWARDS section of the site and it says Price per point = 0.00000001 BTC
He meant that he rather use his reward point or RP on bonus lottery tickets every free roll which is 100 tickets per roll than converting them into BTC. This can be convenient and rewarding once you accumulated enough tickets and better your chances on the weekly lottery draw.

Lottery draw may be higher in reward rather than converting reward points directly to btc which is approximately 0.001BTC minimum for 100k RP. But still, converting rp into btc would be a better choice as you have guaranteed 0.001btc.
1283  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Quit My Full Time Job to Trade Cryptos Full Time on: March 29, 2021, 05:46:19 PM
It's a risky decision but if what you're doing is working smoothly so far why not?

There are some good arbitrage opportunities on DeFi space and Decentralized exchanges but you mentioned you do arbitrage trade on centralized exchanges too, arbitrage does not work out well on centralized exchanges and I'm interested to know how could you buy and send coins/tokens from one exchange to another exchange and sell there and be able to withdraw with profit, there are huge amount of fake volume on many exchanges and even if the exchange you're trading on has true volume, how can you be sure that the price is not going to pump/dump against your wish when your coin/token is received in that exchange wallet, Good luck and I hope the strategy that you're using works out in the long-term as well.

Considering all those factors it's really tough to find those potential project to use for arbitrage trading.

It's need a lot of time and good system to anticipate which coin will move and what percentages is your possible profits. Risky as it is, since you mentioned those fake volumes and those bots that mostly been used inside exchange. One mistake and everything will ruined the process but a successful trade means a good value to your investment.
A lot of potential issues may happen when buying and selling from one centralized exchange to another especially when the value is volatile and the transaction time it takes.

I agree with you that one mistake can produce a massive potential profit but since OP's strategy is going well and smoothly then I assume that he already anticipated and have faced of such a issue.

Quitting his job is already a proof that he is confident and have already laid plans unto his trading activity. Also, it will provide him the time and management he requires to be able to watch his trading activity and be able to lower the potential loss that having a job took.
1284  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing only for the rich? Think again on: March 29, 2021, 05:19:48 PM
Investment aren't only for the rich but there are certain assets that requires a  minimum amount to be able to buy in and get a share on their company which may be the reason behind the myth of " Only the rich can invest in the best business" but there are loopholes to be able to get a share from these companies such as pooling of funds.

But not all investments on big companies can provide a huge profit as most of the higher profitable investment came from the brand new companies. They may be higher risks but the reward behind it is worth it.

Your progress from having a huge investment fund may be faster but it doesn't mean that having low funds to start on won't be fast also as there are ways and timing where you can expedite your investment faster. More research, knowledge and being able to keep up to the market news and opportunities will help you boost your way on profiting.
1285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambling company that did hit the jackpot during the pandemic. on: March 29, 2021, 05:05:45 PM
their annual salaries is one of the biggest I have seen in western countries. (420 millons per year?!)
just as example CEO of big EU pharma can just brag 10 millions of euro per years, these numbers are really astonishing.

Another big company should be betfair. they are public available and another interesting stock related gambling.
and infofront. they are not promoted too much, but each sport streaming in EU is managed by them.
Does the annual salary filed by Mr. Coates’s daughter, Denise Coates amounting to 420 million means that it only came from the gambling company or among all of hers investitures and assets? If yes, then it means that the gambling company have improved and been affected by the Pandemic too much. Pharmaceutical and medical companies are different as they deliver healthcare products which are essential especially today's time due to Pandemic. They increase on demands of pharmaceutical and medical companies products have been thru the roof at today time which is also the reason of high numbers on their annual salary.

As for OP's question, I think that there will be no change happening on the gambling market once everything back to normal as quote from Bet365 where it is only restricted or prohibited on specific states as it won't be available on such places.

Imagine spinning just a few times getting 12 tickets for lottery round 304 in the process and then winning $5,000+ Grin Congrats to you if you are active in this forum. I cannot say I'm not jealous but, hey, there is always next time.
There is and will always will be, hopes up. A congratulations as well to that lucky guy winning with only a dozen ticket, how lucky you are to be honest.
That's one of things I hope to happen to me but up until now I will just be here envying how lucky others are to even win with just a small of amount of tickets. I'll try to be as active as much and hope that my time to come. *fingers crossed* Congratulation to the lucky who won round 304, you're a really lucky person.  Cheesy
DOGE I was a miner long ago and its a testament to memes its carried on but I can well believe its got problems behind the scenes because when I stopped using it the protocol lacked a proper long term plan.   Proof of stake coins is what I thought would be the ones to survive most easily, they are barely known except maybe ETH finally tests this idea and we'll see after 7 years is it a good system alternative to proof of work factories and energy usage.   Beyond price, this will be something exciting in crypto I want to see transform.
I firmly believe that if it's a laughable one yet continue striving it deals with success, kudos to those who hodl some shiba inu.
Doge is one the OG crypto I've known and it's one of the crypto that I have done faucet on back when I was just starting to know all about cryptocurrency. I mean, the memes, its logo, and everything about it is interesting. It's a f*cking shiba inu and I want to have that dog. Even, among every website it's logo is known for.
I remember Freebitcoin has a faucet site for Doge and I think it's gone now. It's one of the crypto that I wanted to gamble on as I feel that I'm gambling with a huge amount of $$.  Grin

1288  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Lost Relics - Isang Blockchain Game on: March 28, 2021, 05:41:52 PM
Naglalaro din ako ng Axie since Septmber last year at naka skolar lang ako.

Will check it out later.
Welcome kabayan sa Lost Relics, sana magustuhan mo yung laro dahil enjoyable RPG game naman sya. Hindi naman komplikado yung laro at tsaka  basic lang din yung controls and items na wearable and equipable.

Sana magustuhan mo yung pagpasok mo sa Lost Relics since event agad which is the easter event kaya rin nagka-maintenance.

1289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What age bracket is perfect for gambling on: March 28, 2021, 05:31:58 PM
Robert Kiyosaki the author of "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" says his rich friend traded $200,000 on stock markets as a teen or younger age.

It may not be so much about chronological age as it is about being raised to be stable with money, investments or gambling.

Many have a poor time controlling their spending and saving habits. Its not a trait reserved for an exclusive age or demographic. Rather something people of all ages struggle with.

Gambling on investments is different from gambling on casino. There are various laws regarding the age-limit for each individual to gamble which mostly is 18years old and above while there are casinos that won't allow individuals who are 16 years old below while some requires 21 years old above. These laws varies on different countries and the casino itself which we must follow and abide.

On the other hand, Investments is different thing as you risk involved are considered as a gamble due to the volatility of either the market or the asset that we are investing on. Just as Robert Kiyosaki said, where a friend of his traded on stock market at an early age isn't illegal as there aren't any laws regarding about age restriction on holding stocks.

Both has risk but the other is illegal when done at an early age while it isn't on the other one.
1290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beware of the Frauds , how pandemic is affecting gambling negatively on: March 28, 2021, 05:14:50 PM
Due to pandemic, most of our daily transaction has been moved online and one of which is Gambling. Even though, online gambling and e-casinos already existed before with gambler who rather don't want to go to physical casinos to gamble and have fun, majority of offline gamblers came to and have migrated to online casinos to continue their gambling activities.

With all of this, transactions and activities being made online comes with illegal and illicit activities of bad individuals. One of main target of these individuals are E-casino or online gambling, due to the revenue and large sum of moneys involve. One of the best example for this are the number of phishing website that imitates gambling website and most of them are advertised by google which made them first on the list when the website is search via google.

1292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: March 28, 2021, 12:13:01 PM
Signature campaign earnings that I received are being hodl in the account. I don't use it cause I prefer it to be the money for my emergency needs. I will only convert it to USD if I really need it, and if I need something which is essential to my life as a student, I use my other jobs earnings.
I don't think you will be forced to bet the money you make from a signature campaign on gambling. However, sometime someone is very inconsistent with his method, because he is too close to gambling advertisement, so that sometime he also intend to double his money by gambling. It is normal human nature because they can never get enough of what they get.

If you just want to use all the money you currently have for your daily need and education, then don't gamble and may not be interested in gambling. That is the best advice for you I think.
No company are forcing their signature campaign participants to bet or gamble on their sites as their job is to advertise and promote the company they've joined on. But still if you don't have any necessary things and have some extra coins, then there's nothing wrong if you gamble and bet it on the site.
You may be able to double or even more your signature earnings if gambled it and worst comes to worst is you'll lose that earnings that came from the gambling site.

Anyway, there's nothing wrong whether you save it, trade it, gamble it or even give it to someone as you've earned it and it's your own money. Also, it's a great thing that the signature campaign helps you provide financial support for your academics and studies.

i have a question for the team. i recently had my friend and his wife put some bitcoin on the site. but i missmanaged the refferal codes. how can they make new accounts with my ref code. i am being coutions , dont want to be flagged as a bot. as i have enjoyed your site very much
They have to make an another account with another email and use the proper codes for you to receive your referral commission from them. You won't be flagged as a bot as long as you don't cheat your referrals. If I am right, there is a maximum amount of account to be credited with the same IP address.
Also, you won't be credited with referral commission from their current account as they either have wrong referral code or have not use yours.

Same haha, Larong laro na din ako since kahapon kasi ineexpect ko talaga na mag g-grind ako for the whole day. Nakapag laro naman ako kahapon ng 1 dungeon run after releasing the update then super lag na.
Di pa nga sure kung may compensation na magaganap pero sana magbigay sila like other online games kapag nagme-maintenance like membership or Pendants. Tsaka sabi ni Cliff na it might take days to fix the issue so medjo matagal pa tayong maghihintay para makapaglaro ulit 😭
1296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wave of gambling may end with COVID recovery? on: March 26, 2021, 07:29:13 AM
They would probably start going into land-based casinos to see the difference between virtual and actual gambling. I believe a lot of people have been utilizing online gambling to pass the time and enjoy while staying at the house. Most of the people I know who regularly visit land-based casinos have been gambling online. They said that it has become comfortable to gamble in their homes and prevent exposure to other people.

In some ways, they are often going to stay like this if they are comfortable or maybe explore another option. We still can't verify since it's still a pandemic.
I guess some of these gamblers will probably visit casino once the pandemic is over but I think on most occasion, people will likely stay with online gambling especially that they already have first hand experience due to pandemic.
Just as iv4n stated above, for us it's different as we already started gambling online long before pandemic and most of us prefer it that way rather than going to physical casinos.

Based on the graph provided by OP, gambling numbers continues to climb whether the pandemic happened or not and it will continue that way especially now that the gambling are as convenient as going online. Still there would be more gamblers who would prefer to gamble offline as there are certain aspect that they can use to better their chances such as card games.
1297  Economy / Services / Re: Betnomi Sig and avatar campaign(FULL) on: March 26, 2021, 07:06:48 AM
In my opinion, the campaign operator @Yahoo62278 is not responsible for the expensive withdrawal fee.

Of course lol. Did the user Lanatsa involve the campaign manager? lol

It's good to raise it here first as the user is part of the campaign so that it won't pollute the main discussion thread.
No, he did not involve the campaign manager but he's asking questions about withdrawal fee on the Campaign Thread which does not involve the signature campaign or the manager.

Also, asking questions like this on the ANN Thread won't pollute the discussion there as it is within the betnomi system and rules about the withdrawal fee.

As for Lanatsa, I'd suggest that you withdraw your earnings on TRX, XRP, DOGE and other altcoin which is more convenient for you that has low fees. I've tried withdrawing on TRX and I haven't lose any amount on fees.
1298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: bsctalkforum can be compared to this forum on: March 23, 2021, 01:03:44 PM
The platform of bsctalkforum.com is just the same with any forum that you can see online. I don't think that they have copied anything on the forum except their web address.

But cryptotalk.org and altcoinstalks.com already has the same format on their web address and has more similarities on this forum.
1299  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin could win the currency war on: March 23, 2021, 01:00:04 PM
There’s no war since bitcoin can’t totally replace fiat money, and now that the government understand the importance of Digital currency, they are making their own digital currency using their fiat money so its hard to say that Bitcoin can really win the war because there’s none at all. Its just that Bitcoin made a better option for us, so its up to the government if they are going to improve the fiat system or not.
For me, people who thinks that bitcoin, ethereum and other major cryptos as a currency or will replace fiat is just ridiculous. Bitcoin and cryptos are a digital asset that can change their market price any moment just like on stocks. You won't think stocks market to be your currency, right?
But what I see on the future is that the government and banks to make their own crypto. Like importing your fiat into a stablecoin with the same name. This way it won't be as volatile as other crypto such bitcoin and it be the future digital currency that we will all see.
1300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a GOOD or BAD time to invest? on: March 23, 2021, 12:42:32 PM
If you are willing to invest on a long term basis then Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB and other major crypto is way to go. You wont regret on investing on them whether if it's on the short term or on a long term. If you want to invest on other more volatile crypto then you must study and watch the trading activity more often to avoid loss.
In case of the timeframe, it isn't too late to invest on major crypto as the wall for them too big due to the support of major companies and big investors especially on BTC. But if you're willing to wait on the price drop, then I suggest investing only half now and continue to invest the half after the dip happened.
Another thing, I might suggest is try to explore other trading platform such as Binance since you're just starting. Buybit might be a good platform but it's rather to explore major trading site such as binance which is used by many.
