1241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOLDING VS TAKING PROFITS DURING BULL RUN on: April 24, 2021, 06:13:52 PM
Holder always win but if have much money its easy how to be holder, how we only get profit from short term trading and what the best solution way to be holder, maybe impossible without any way become source income for use looks hard to be holder. I hold maximum one week and if price not grow up I will sell and cut loss.
it all depends on what works for every individual, everyone is firstly simply aiming to making money and more money which can be achieved in different ways. each person will set his/her goals based on their needs, ability, availability, and so on.
For me, I think it is more likely to depend on the project itself rather the individual investors as most project doesn't succeed and end up being rugged or dipped is mostly because of project progress itself. Most projects isn't worth to hold unto and there are others that are too worth it too hold unto. It's just a matter of what project or tokens you are holding will make you rich.

Still, there are ways that you can easily profit and be rich by holding on a short term rather than long term. There are many tokens out there that has pumped and dumped but never reach its previous ATH which aren't  good to hold unto on a long term basis.

Also, holding on long term is much more riskier which is most of the early adopter of bitcoin did last long due to various FUDs and Dumps happening but you can never earn too much if you can tolerate these.
1242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: April 24, 2021, 06:04:47 PM

Well, today the BTC price is almost $50K. I was just wondering, how are things now.
Are you still playing with Bitcoin, or have you switched to another coin due to a rise?

Thanks,
Karl from Bitcasino
Honestly I really don't feel the price because most casinos I use peg account balances in USD,so when I choose to deposit $50 I get ~$49 or so which doesn't make a difference at the time of a surge or crash as price always remains what it was when you deposit.

One of the perks that uses a USD value on the balance but it's rare to see online casinos to be this way as they won't profit when the price goes down. If it's alright may I know what gambling site are you using? Does this website allow other cryptocurrency other than bitcoin?

Anyway, I'd like to answer Karl from Bitcasino there. Yes, I still gamble even after the price dumps or pumps as I rather look onto the bitcoin itself or other crypto I use than it's value on USD and hodl onto it. I accumulate BTC and cryptocurrencies and not USD since you can save your fiat money anytime unlike bitcoin.
1243  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoins kill Central Banks? on: April 24, 2021, 05:49:16 PM
The answer is simple - no, bitcoin will not kill banks!
Why? Because governments will never allow an uncontrolled entity to replace a government-controlled, formal payment mechanism. The only thing that bitcoin, as a technology, can influence, is to push banks to use part of blockchain technologies in banking technologies.

This answer pretty much sums up what I think. There's no chance governments are going to relinquish control over the monetary system. And as for bitcoin replacing it unwillingly, the economy was much choppier and less predictable on the gold standard, so it's really unlikely people will want to return to all the economic insecurity that accompanies a deflationary currency.
Agreed, That answer sums up the issue regarding Bitcoin and Banks. I don't see any opportunities that bitcoin and other crypto will be able to govern over banks. We may be able to progress with a stablecoin that the banks will produce which will probably the future currency that each and everyone will be using soon. A deflationary and unstable market price will not be able to considered as a mean of payment as price can change anytime from 100 to nothing.

1244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: April 24, 2021, 05:35:48 PM
Keeping your campaign earnings is really good, it's just a matter of how well you understand the opportunities.
Keeping it as bitcoin or trying to use it if your salary are inside your campaign site wallet.

I think it also highly depends on the entire market situation at the moment you receive your signature campaign bounties. If the market is at a peak it may be useful to sell them immediately. If we are at a low it is recommend to hold your earnings to double them in the course of bull market.
I prefer to move payments to signature campaigns that enforce payouts via gambling sites to my personal wallet after the campaign is over, because I don't have gambling skills and I prefer to be safe because if I play and lose the payouts will go back to the gambling site.
and after accumulating I will sell it when the price goes up high and if the price doesn't go up I will wait and hold it until the price goes up and multiply it.
It's a great way to save your earnings as you are saving your income until the bounty or the campaign ends. Most of the campaign runs for a few weeks while there are campaigns that runs for months and being able to save all your accumulated income takes alot of patience. Most of the time, I withdraw my funds as soon as the campaign pays weekly and especially when it has been sent via the site wallet.

Also, you will be saving some $$ on the withdrawal fee as most of these campaign site wallet doesn't offer free withdrawal which saves them money and cost us the participants. This is also one the reason why I gamble my earnings first and try to multiply my income.
1245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devices used for Gambling on: April 24, 2021, 05:26:33 PM
Whenever I am playing poker I prefer to use a desktop computer or personal computer because it is more comfortable to use for me as it has a big screen in which you clearly sees the game that you are playing but when I am outside the house or if I am in a certain trip obviously I prefer to use phone or tablets as it is very to bring and very accessible whenever I want to play poker online.
- I also love using the computer for gambling but over time the updates of gambling sites are relatively heavy, my computer is also quite outdated and cannot be played very often and easily, most of the time I'm forced to play with the phone, it's a pretty boring. Luckily, it also made me reduce my gambling and focus more on other jobs but in general, online gambling is still not as interesting and emotional as real-life battles, but the government is quite strict in this regard.
I also prefer to use desktop or laptop to gamble most of the time but in terms of security desktop doesn't feel more secure than iPhone in my opinion. I am always worried to click wrong link, fake address etc. Wide screen is comfortable I don't deny it but iphone's native apps are far better. For android I would most definitely say no.
Hmmm... I doubt that the security when it comes to gambling is much better on a mobile phone than on PC or laptop. There are various ways that PC and Laptop have more security and one of it the variety of usage of VPN, Anti-Virus and many more compare to mobile phone. Specially Iphone and other apple product which doesn't support programs that would provide extra layer of security to the user.

I'm not an apple hater but most of the apps, websites and other things are much more compatible with windows and android but still when a gambling website has a dedicated app and web that is dedicated for apple products, they are very much convenient compare to android.
1246  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 24, 2021, 04:59:04 PM
~snip~

I think this is the same user who just won the lambo. He had almost 900k golden tickets which was 30% of the total amount.
He is the same guy as the User ID is the same with the new Lambo winner. Looks like he's a whale gambler on Freebitcoin to even have that much golden ticket. He clearly deserve the win but I don't think that it matters a lot to him since it doesn't compare to the amount he's been gambling with.

Still, Congratulations to the winner and it was an overwhelming golden ticket entry to win from. Having that much bitcoin to gamble on and be able to reach 882k golden tickets clearly makes you the winner.

1248  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Convenient as Possible sa Pag-deposit ng Fiat to buy Crypto on: April 24, 2021, 09:02:57 AM

Yup, pinaka common way is yung Coins.ph since directly partnered sya mga money transfers like Palawan and Cebuana and also kilala na yan sa mga Banks. Pero yung maisa-suggest ko na gamitin mo pang cash in or deposit to buy crypto ay ang Binance lalo na yung platform for P2P. Tulad nga ng gusto mong ma-achieve na almost to no fee, dahil sa Binance walang fee yung mismong platform and yung price ay nakadepende sa market at sa tao mismo. Kaso limited lang ang options mo when it comes to binance unlike on coins.ph pero sure ako mas sulit doon lalo na kung trading at i-out mo yung crypto na iyon sa ibang wallet dahil yung withdrawal fee doon at minimal lang.
1249  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: New and Upcoming Blockchain Games on: April 24, 2021, 08:36:23 AM
Mukang magugustuhan ko yung Mist at Guild of Guardians dahil pareho silang RPG game which is yung tipo kong laro.

Grin
1250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which other company will support Bitcoin next? on: April 24, 2021, 08:24:46 AM
Experts from the scene are skeptical. "Still very few people own Bitcoins", even if a broader mass could be reached through PayPal, Bitcoin is not a suitable means of payment due to the high fluctuations. In addition, Bitcoin fans do not give up their coins, but rather rely on the increase in value.

But everyone who takes part will lose in the long run.
How can experts say that there are few people own bitcoin if the market itself show how much users there are and not counting those who are just hodling. But I agree to the fact that Bitcoin isn't the most efficient way to be use as a means of payment due to stability of the price to fluctuate anytime. If I were to implement a means of payment on my business then I rather choose USDT or BUSD or any other stable coin out there to avoid the pump and dump when transacting.

I just hope that more and more companies implement crypto on their business, not just Bitcoin but rather other cryptocurrencies so we may be able to pick which crypto is the most convenient when it comes to transaction fee, transaction speed and available crypto.
1251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone on Tiktok said that Bitcoin will go down zero if founder show up! on: April 24, 2021, 08:06:23 AM
I don't believe on this bullsh*t. Does that mean that Bitcoin's price and market is there because of the anonymity of Founder Satoshi Nakamoto? How about Ethereum, Vitalik Butalin's identity is a public knowledge and yet eth price and market is there at the 2nd highest ranking crypto.

If what he is referring is true and the reveal of Satoshi's Identity will cause Bitcoin's downfall on someway then there would be other crypto that would reign over bitcoin. Also, Bitcoin's price won't reach zero anytime now as the market for it is too big and there will always be someone out there who will keep bitcoin alive and running whether the price drops.
1252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: April 24, 2021, 07:52:40 AM
A litte drop of fee now on bitcoin transactions, as you cen see in https://mempool.space/.. the highest priority now is only 6 usd, compared to yesterday's 10 to 15 usd. It's now time to transact bitcoin to save fees as eventually it will again rise as the mempool gets congested.
Thanks for sharing, the price may drop but it's still high for most gamblers. I'd rather trade that bitcoin to altcoins if that's from our wallet, $6 is still higher compared to paying $1 or lower which is possible with some altcoins particularly with XRP.
That would be the most efficient way to not loss as much as possible on your funds especially that there are many out there are more comfortable on micro gambling and enjoy the thrill of their money growing from that amount. But unfortunately, there are e-casinos or gambling websites that don't allow other crypto other than Bitcoin and Ethereum on their platform which is unavoidable to lower the fees.

Hoping that the market won't be as traffic so we can experience lower fees on bitcoin and ethereum. Having 6-15 USD for just the transaction is too much and I hope that most casino adopts other cryptocurrency on their platform so we may able to pick the most convenient crypto for us to deposit and withdraw from.
1253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devices used for Gambling on: April 24, 2021, 07:40:14 AM
I love using my Realme Pro because it had a Wider screen so enough for me to have a Best result each time i gamble.

Though i also use Laptop when in office because we are not allow to bring our personal Mobile inside the premises so i prefer using lappy when there is a time to gamble.
specially when I'm joining events .
That is quite the specific device you use to gamble on. I remember back then that I only use my mobile phone which only cost around 100$ or maybe less as it is a local phone on my country. It was too laggy and I was asking my friends and colleagues hi and low because I was playing Primedice and Justdice. It was fun and especially when I'm winning.

Anyways, currently I find myself more comfortable gambling on PC or Laptop as there are more options and advantages on desktop than on a mobile phone. Also, multitasking is too easy on a PC. But still I sometimes gamble on phone when I'm outside and testing my luck.
1254  Local / Pamilihan / Re: LENDING SECTION HERE (Mores Funds Available - Wanted Borrowers! on: April 23, 2021, 05:41:57 PM

Edit:

Nahanap ko na kay Bttzed03 pala, kaya pala hindi ko na nakikita, last update nya eh last Feb 21 pa  almost 2 mos na din

~snip~

1255  Local / Pamilihan / Re: More P2P Payment options Sa BINANCE! on: April 23, 2021, 05:24:49 PM
pero mukang yung mga bangko na ang lumalapit sa cryptomarket, this is a good news to all of us!
Parang implementation lang to sa side ni binance at walang partnership or similar na nangyari.
I see, pero hopefully maging sign ito para sa mga bangko na supportahan ang cryptomarket and sana, wag sila gumaya sa ibang bansa na binaban and mga company na nagaccept ng Bitcoin as mode of payment.
Hindi ko lang sure kung hindi nila gagayahin ang ibang bansa dahil corrupt din and systema ng pilipinas at sa tingin ko mag-iimplement sila ng taxation sa bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Pero when it comes to banning naman, mukang hindi na natin kaylangan mag worry about rito dahil simula palang walang balak ang gobyerno about dito.
1256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: April 23, 2021, 05:02:49 PM
I'm not a big gambler I always make a gamble every time I just have time and just enough having a hunted dollars just to play again it's good of you to have extra money to gambling and not serve a work because it's risky right now still we can't bring back due to this pandemic.

I always set a limitation to my self like if I lose all of those balance I need to take a rest and try gambling again within an couple of months to avoid getting frustrated with too many losses the same with the losses if you make a large amount of win take hold for your self because it doesn't give you too much if you become greedy.
This is a great way to avoid a huge amount of loss and proves that you have full control over your gambling activity as you have successfully manage your funds for gambling whether it's for a daily, weekly or monthly activity. Also, controlling yourself over loss of funds is something that most of us can't overcome which is main reason why people keep coming back for more and having a huge loss or win.

I too, have managed myself to control my funds for gambling on a weekly activity and limit myself to not spend a dollar more whether I win or loss it. But most of the time, I myself loss my funds even though being able to 1000x my initial funds as I've lost control over my funds.
1257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You won today, but then you will lose often on: April 23, 2021, 04:53:32 PM
I think one of the best things to do to prevent gambling addiction could be making bets with a very little amount. It helps one have the control of it. I was making bets with a big amount in the past and it caused me to be addicted to it. Because when I lost money, I was trying to recover it as soon as possible. After I've realized what I was doing was wrong, I've started making bets with a little amount. Now, I don't try to recover immediately when I lose as I don't take a big risk.

Addiction does not look at how much is your bet amount, addiction will come when you are out of control.
Even if you are betting small amount only, but if you cant control yourself then you are addicted.
What happened to you in the past was not because you bet big amount, but it was because you think that you can recover your loses by betting bigger than before.
It is also because you think that you'll win eventually if you keep trying.
Addiction does not limit your gambling amount whether you started gambling with small amount but ended up losing and continue depositing more and more money to just have "fun" but rather you see yourself later on coming back for more until you've accumulated more money lost.
The only way to avoid addiction is when you notice it as soon as possible and take action on it or just have control over yourself when you're gambling. Whether you lose or win, you must be able to know when to stop as greed is one of reason why addiction existed.

#TheQuin - Can we have a thread for these kinds of wins, like we have for the FREE ROLL wins, where people report their winnings from the wheel? It would be nice to see if there are actually people winning anything bigger than 35 Satoshi or 3500 Lottery tickets?

This I saved because I sent to my dad to show him:

It was 18 december 2020.

I won other similar prizes, 5000 RP too and 4200 and 3200 during these months whilst the BTC increased in value, but didn't take a screenshot anymore.
I guess this would be a great idea for each users to share their winnings from the Wheel of Fortune. From what I know from this thread, I have only seen people winning the BTC, RPs, Regular and Golden Tickets but I haven't seen anyone winning the Rolex or the Phone from the WOF.
Anyways, since you've shared your winning way back 2020 might as well share mine just a few minutes ago which I've won 4k satoshi.

I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned since I have not looked at the previous answers ... but I noticed that the captcha format has changed in the wheel of fortune, which made me quite upset. Maybe this is just a matter of habit, but I would prefer to go back to the old version of the captcha.
I haven't noticed any changes. Today I got same Google ReCaptcha as usual. But I don't use h-captcha or how it;s called, maybe they have made some chjanges with it.
I guess it's normal that the captcha change from time to time. It already happened to me many times and it changes a lot for at least 5-8 times now. From H-captcha to recaptcha. The image where there are models and underwear was the most funny one I've seen.
That is some serious dedication to have achieved more than 16k rolls. I've been on the site for many years and I have 12,709 rolls. I would probably have close to 20k rolls if I had been able to claim back then as often as I do now but I did not have reliable internet and only claimed sporadically.
Well, I'm using Freebitco.in from 2015 probably and I have already made almost 28 000 free rolls already. And guess what, I have never won $2, $20 or $200 worth prizes. It's pity that I haven't won even $2, I'm not very lucky person, but when I look at my total earnings since I started to Freebitco.in, damn, it's big money.
Yes, the changes in the reward system from way back 2016 was way more higher and easier to get and at those times I remember being able to withdraw funds just by rolling in less than a week. If only we haven't spend any of our funds, we may have been able to accumulate a lot of money to date.
