On the topic at hand, I've not really taken out time to monitor monthly close of Bitcoin. Perhaps, it could be that I do more of trading than buying and hodling. Monthly candle close appeals more to investors than to traders. Monthly candle closes can also attract many traders if the candle is green. It doesn't really matter how the price moves right now. This can be clearly seen on today's chart, where the pump and dump happened. The same can happen on a longer timeframe as well. Even the current monthly candle might close below the previous bottom, then waiting for the next candle will become even more intriguing.
