1701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: can exchange services sell my personal data? on: September 06, 2019, 05:56:54 AM
I have not found any exchange selling personal data of its clients. But I have heard that our personal data given to anyone for a purpose maybe misused. Nowadays, many crypto projects and exchanges are requiring KYC information. So we have to be very careful in this matter. Crypto exchanges earn by charting its clients for trading and withdrawing.
KYC nowadays is unavoidable because every company wants to have your details as probably requested by government or effective to their drafted policy, so we just need to take your advice and then be careful with the way we just submit our details. We cannot stop them from asking for KYC but we can stop giving details to companies that we are not completely comfortable with.

KYC could be very risky, especially those who are requesting for very deep detail from us like our passport and we all know the implication of what our passport would be when it gets to the hand of terrorist. They could use our face on the passport for their various atrocities and this is one reason why we have some people that are very careful about their KYC details with strangers.
1702  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: crypto exchange friendly european banks on: September 05, 2019, 05:53:56 PM
For now, you may not get much crypto friendly banks because the use of cryptocurrency does disrupt their own operation to an extent and I am sure that they have not really factored in how they can collaborate with cryptocurrency and their own tradition fiat or way of banking.

It does not even bother me if we have any bank that is interested in cryptocurrency services at all, because my wallet now serves as my bank and if I need to exchange any money from my wallet into my traditional bank account, all I just do is to use specialized agents, that is local exchanges, and they are the one that I have been suing for a very long time now which they have been  very useful and very reliable in making y cryptocurrency transaction easy for me when it comes to exchange between fiat and cryptocurrency.

I remember there was a service discussion topic which sounds similar to you. Let me dig if I am correct.
1703  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you need to become a successful trader? on: September 05, 2019, 04:31:28 PM
you might have your own but of course, we need to see also what successful traders do before they'll got its name. That is very important to gather ideas and could help to create our own. Keep learning is what we need for in order to succeed and not just relying of a single strategy. Things might change as well as the market demand, this need to take action by then and be vulnerable in all market condition.
Therefore, you should read and watch YouTube more, but do not listen to everyone in a row, a lot of  practice and build your own strategy.
With all sincerity, I have never been to a trading school before and the level of what I know In trading today which has paid off for me was gotten through YouTube and some articles that I do read over the internet. Provided that one has the ability to learn on one's own.

YouTube is still the best place to actually learn because on YouTube, the learner will be exposed to different tutors from different part of the world, and they all have their own strategies which they usually share with their viewers, I think that it would be best sometimes to just always go on YouTube even as an already existing trader to learn from those that are better than us, and you know that developing a strategy requires getting lots of experiences from different angles.
1704  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & Ethereum Drop 3% on: September 05, 2019, 03:48:57 PM
-snip-

That will be Bitcoin's season. The alts are really underestimated and the prices of the good alts are very cheap. This is also a good time to buy and hold it until the Bitcoin trending is over.
Then the alts will increase very strong and the cycle will return to normal.
I believe that the season of alts will come soon, we need more patience.
Altcoin season will be over before bitcoin season can ever be over, the only thing that would just happen is that we will have a time that bitcoin will slow down in its dominance for a long time and you could almost confuse it for a stable coin, and when bitcoin remains stabilized, most altcoins will tend to start increasing in value and probably have their own bull run, which is when many investors starts pumping money.

For now, most stable coin will continue to drop including the Ethereum that is their leader till bitcoin dominance remain stagnant a little. While bitcoin remains dominant, any decrease we see is just the normal corrections that usually accompany the coin before it goes on breaking more barrier that will keep adjusting and shifting us to its peak price.
1705  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: questions about technical analysis on: September 05, 2019, 02:54:29 PM
Technical analysis is a strategy, and when it comes to strategy, we have lots of strategies in the market that we can use to determine our trade, but technical analyses is just still the best if you really know how to read charts, although there are some cases where technical analyses cannot function, and you have to make use of fundamental analysis for it.

to me, I believe that technical analysis is most functional for a short term trade and it would be difficult to determine the price of a cryptocurrency with it, except you mixed it with fundamental analysis, that is why many great analyst would always advise that when using analysis to determine your trade, you have to ensure you Didn’t leave the two out before you conclude on that trade that you wish to execute.
1706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Identify Good ICOs for Investment on: September 05, 2019, 11:44:59 AM
You have to study the ICO project carefully to make sure it is worth your investment, because there are so many scam ICOs right now. If the project have a good and useful product, a clear and detailed whitepaper, and backed by an experienced and talented team, then it is maybe going to succeed.
Business experience of team really matters to me a lot if I am to consider any project. At least with their past and background, we will be able to tell the future of any project, most of the newer projects that we have being released to the market now, are just full of inexperience team members who claim that they are professionals at what they are doing, theoretically, they might be good, but practically they are not, and it takes someone who can interpret any project to the practical life that will have a sustained project.

All the altcoins that has been coming up, which practical use do they really have and how have they enhance the growing technology other than the use of their coins for assets purpose alone, and not for utility.
1707  Economy / Economics / Re: Future and current Humanity, Bitcoin, Gold and Fiat. on: September 05, 2019, 06:32:29 AM
I’m not really getting your point here. Why do you now blame the schools for something that doesn’t has to do with them? The government set the rules and schools, you just go thereto learn, they were not the ones that said that you have not pay up to that for double spending. If you feel that is too much then you should stop double spending and start splitting your orders so you don’t have to pay extra. Even you thinking that bitcoin is going to be a savior is wrong as well.

If cryptocurrency is going to replace the current system we are making use of now, then that means that everything about it is going to change. The government will start to regulate it just as they regulate conventional currencies, and that means a lot of things are going to be changed. You wouldn’t pay low fees anymore for the transaction, and there wouldn’t be anything as anonymity again. And the world switching to cryptocurrency doesn’t mean that you wouldn’t have to pay taxes any longer, nah you will still pay them, because then it will be regulated by the government and there is no way you can escape paying tax.

So, don’t think that cryptocurrency will be anything better than the Fiat we are using now. I will prefer that things remain the way they are, because I don’t want the government to take over cryptocurrencies.
1708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin scammer caught tortured and killed. on: September 05, 2019, 05:45:17 AM
Even scammers can betray each other to have it all, greed usually comes with a price and that is what happens here, and how can they get the authority involved when the money was stolen? The only choice is to take matters into their own hands, this is really a sad story, losing your life this way is horrible, I hopes other scammers can learn from this.
Maybe he is the kingpin, and in my country, we believe in voodoo, probably the scammer must have scammed a voodoo man that has already done some voodoo over him. You know that we have some people that you don’t cost pain to. Do you know how many people such scammer would have caused pain for their hard-earned money, and I am happy that he met nemesis, him and his friends, in their next life, they will learn to be good and to work hard.

There are things or ways you will really work hard and get that money legally, but because of laziness, majority of people result to using all those crook means to obtain money from innocent hardworking people, so what do you expect of those type of people? They will surely end up being useless.
1709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are banks scared of crypto on: September 05, 2019, 04:51:03 AM
Of course, banks are afraid of crypto because they cannot control it and because crypto can move the entire banking system
The system of cryptocurrency is just too strong for them to be able to control and I doubt if they have that authority to place a ban, only financial regulators which they are all under too has the right to pronounce ban on those coin and they have to even do it with the approval of government.

Government might be skeptical about the use of cryptocurrency but that would not mean that they are planning on banning it, so if the government itself has not pronounced the use of cryptocurrency illegal, I don't think there is any bank that can ever ban it. The worst they can do based on their own power is to refuse any transaction that has to do with cryptocurrency and not all bank will do this, so it may generate more power for some banks that would accept it.
1710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Suspected Bitcoin mining scam on: September 04, 2019, 05:53:34 PM
Scams everywhere a lot and more and more will appear, it remains only to be vigilant and not to get involved in suspicious projects
Scamming in surely not a new thing as you said, and before bitcoin was even introduced or gained this relevance, there has been  cases of scamming,  a lot which documentary has even been done on them and we have seen how the authority has tried everything possible to ensure that they those who are involved in it is usually brought to their knee.

Cryptocurrency scamming can really be controlled if government really put an eye on it, they are government because we believe they can put things in control, so here is the chance to really proof themselves by ensuring that the cryptocurrency industry is well scrutinized through regulation and be able to always fish out those who are spoiling the purpose of it even amidst the anonymity of the system.
1711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what way bitcoin gets increased usage? on: September 04, 2019, 04:45:55 PM
Increasing the use of Bitcoin there are many ways. I think we can sample the country of Japan, that Bitcoin in this country is already regulated by the government. So to develop certainly very easy, such as:

1) Bitcoin is used as a means of payment
2) Many large stores that provide payment via crypto.

So that crypto users are given the ease to develop their assets. The Japanese Government, of course, will benefit from the taxes generated from crypto.
That is right, and we just need to understand that it is a gradual process, another country we can see that has fully supported cryptocurrency is Switzerland also, and they have regulated it in such a way that even their banks are not scared of crypto any longer which is why they could be giving license by their financial regulator to run cryptocurrency related activities legally.

I think this is why some of those countries like china and us are also beginning to calm down, as they have seen that solid nations like Japan and Switzerland has implemented it and has recorded some improvement on the growth of their economy through it.

Hence, this is how adoption will continue to grow and usage also will continue for bitcoin till the whole world gets accustomed to it.
1712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brazil: First to have Births Exclusively Recorded by Blockchain on: September 04, 2019, 04:13:07 PM
Now it's possible for your birth to be verified by the public through technology! Brazil showcases the first blockchain technology that is used for recording the birth of children without having to use the traditional registry.
One of the things that I knew blockchain technology was going to bring is transparency to the world, and it would really be a nice idea if other countries that really wants to advance can start adopting it too, I know we have too many corrupts nations that would not want this to survive and may always kick against it, but with time, as we see so many other countries adopt it, they will start adopting it gradually also.

The technology will be very much useful in countries where they have also been having election problems like some of the part of Africa, where you could even see some of them arguing on birth certificate of the so called chosen leader, but with this technology now, they don’t need to go too far to verify the details publicly, so they really need to adopt it, but they have to be willing to do so, it is because Brazil is willing to be transparent that made them key into it.
1713  Economy / Economics / Re: Tax laws create burgeoning (>$1 trill) underground economy on: September 04, 2019, 01:34:36 PM
Anyway, world without taxes is impossible. The only way  to make it better is to make them work right
That is the absolute truth that you have just revealed here. It seem baseless to me when we have people that  are calling for a tax less society and they think because bitcoin was created as anonymous coin means they should not spend money freely without taxing, I totally do not support such a thing because a country that need to function properly needs tax.

Any country without tax will be a dirty country because there will be no form of latest infrastructures, no development because of lack of money and more so, the government would not have any power which will make the country a lawless one.  that little tax you are looking at has a whole lot of roles to play in a country and when you see most of these advanced country with high technology, it's because they live on tax.
1714  Economy / Economics / Re: Global economic and trade crisis on: September 04, 2019, 07:54:57 AM
Gold is not getting more attention because people are losing money on stock markets. Gold is gaining value because dollar is losing value right now. I mean stocks and gold could go up at the same time if you really hit it on the nose at the same time.

For example, let's say 800 billion dollars printed by the Federal Reserves, that means dollar will lose value (which happened in 2008) and that would mean your 100 dollars can't buy you the same things anymore, that is how companies start to make more money again, their purchasing power doesn't rise but their stock does but since dollar lost value that means gold gains as well. Hence you can increase both of them together (bitcoin too because it is against inflation).

However, companies are losing money right now because of trade crisis hence the increase in gold is different.
1715  Economy / Economics / Re: Over 100,000,000,000 In Volume on: September 04, 2019, 06:52:52 AM
it is not always true, often time most of those values are hyped to attract traders and wanting to gain attention and position in the coin market. probably most of them make a overtargeted volume of hard cap,but when they unfortunately could not meet up it becomes an issue against fair distribution. some are moderate and real
This is why we see many of those exchanges and projects falling because they live more of fake lives by lying a lot, and even to their whitepaper., they lie so much to make people believe in their project which they eventually are not able to meet up, after which they die down. Most of those volumes that you see are actually not accurate like you said, and many people knows this, they do that to tie people’s investment and trade down unnecessarily.

I know that many of these exchanges that we have seen has used those styles in one way, but that was when ICO was still ICO, there were so many trader and investors then looking for trading platform, so it does not take that long for them to build a genuine users, but now, where we have so many competitors with low investors or users,  those fake volume would not work again.
1716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is parlay an effective betting strategy? on: September 04, 2019, 05:20:16 AM
Parlay’s are great fun if you’re putting on a small stake because you get good odds. You’re not going to win very often if you put more than 3 things in your parlay though.

I suggest if you’re a really serious gambler then stay away from them.
I do not understand the effectiveness of strategies if there are conditions attached. I always thought it’s even serious gamblers that need strategies? We must come to a point we would realize that strategies never works in any kind of gambling, be it sports, poker or dice games.

If you want to enjoy yourself and not feel frustrated in gambling is to avoid strategies and learn to depend on luck and little skills. Even skills can fail, the game is purely a game of luck and changing that aspect is out rightly impossible. What happens to the site owners? Do we really believe or think they would fold their arms and watch a strategy work for players, if it does, then how would they make their money? The earlier we erase the thoughts of using strategies in gambling out of our minds, the better for us.
1717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Would you Like to See in a New Casino Site on: September 03, 2019, 06:00:52 PM
They will never do that but it is really not something to hard for them to do. If gambling site decides to be giving out daily bonuses I believe they can but like you said, they are bunch of wicked people that will give out with one hand and retrieve back with both hands. I feel, they do not want players to make money at all, all they care about is themselves and the joy they have is that they have giving players a good platform to gamble and make money which is not really nice.

It would also be my desire if the sites can give more bonuses and make it regular unlike the ones that comes once in a while, maybe during registration o other times and its usually too small.
I have a very contrary opinion on this, do you think any business owner will find joy in his customer loosing money,? Definitely NO, this corrects your idea about gambling sites not happy about its customer’s prosperity. I bet it is the prayer of every casino owner for his clients to prosper in the business so that they can continue playing and bringing in more people. Casino make more money from traffic aside the  loses people make on their site, so they would maintain a good relationship with clients to motivate them to gambling more on their site.

It doesn’t then justify that casino owners will now be giving out daily bonuses. There are sites that do not give bonuses and some that do, choose the one you like and enjoy your game.
1718  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: September 03, 2019, 04:23:24 PM
Yesterday I saw some people were talking about "boost", some people said that they have just claimed this boost. Tried to find some more info through the forum but I cant find official topic about this boost. I only heard that it is something like a reward for VIP users but I also heard that not all VIP users get this new feature. Is it just a random feature?
They used to have these boosts as well back in the day at primedice too but it was totally different. You played and wagered a lot, than you chat a lot as well basically doing all sorts of stuff to earn "achievements" and that helped you level up, if you leveled up enough your faucet grew, now there is no faucet of course and you only get to make free money by writing on their forum (for some reason) but that was the point of leveling up on primedice, to get more faucet.

The more you wagered the more faucet you got but at the end of the day the more you wagered the more you lost as well (thanks house edge) hence getting a bit more faucet made no difference to you since that wasn't even close to money you lost. At one point faucet abusers gambled a lot once and than only used faucet to make up the loss and than even withdraw some hence they stopped. Lets hope this VIP stuff doesn't become like that.
1719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What withdrawal fee do you consider as fair in gambling sites? on: September 03, 2019, 02:58:23 PM
Fee may actually vary from casino to casino. Like we have different fee being charged on different crypto exchanges. Same is the case with casinos too. One providing great services will charge you a bit high as compared to the one that does not provide you great services. I think there should be a set amount of it to be charged. It could also increase with rise in the cost of operations of casinos.
You are very right and this is the aspect so many of us are not getting right. Different sites operate with different cost and it will be wrong an quite difficult for all sites to do the same thing or have same the same amount of withdrawal fee. Let’s learn to understand that some casino sites actually offer better services and we would not expect them to give same rate with what some other casino sites are giving, it is optional and this is the reason for a lot of sites out there, if you don’t find the conditions and withdrawal fee of one suitable for you, you are entitled to looking out for others, but we cannot impose our desires on a casino site.

I for one, I prefer a site that would give me an affordable withdrawal fee but then I would not mind paying more if safety is guaranteed on same site.
1720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what is the future of btc and eth? on: September 03, 2019, 02:21:36 PM
along with the development of the times in the world of crypto currencies, indeed more new currencies are easier to transact, but still refer to the development of BTC and ETH.
They might be easier to transact, but they are not as attractive as bitcoin and Ethereum, and as not as reliable as the two coin. These two coins will always be the king of cryptocurrency and I am not much sure that they will ever stop being. As the name alternative implies, those coins will only be an alternative solution to the two which only few people would really take such solution to use.

All my life that I have been in the cryptocurrency market or space for one thing and another, I have only considered these two coins as utility coins while I only make use of those other coins for strictly investment purpose and they are basically useful for just short-term investment purpose alone.
