1721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee Charges $105,000 for Cryptocurrency Promotions on: April 07, 2018, 11:06:13 PM
Founder of the software company McAfee, John McAfee is now promoting cryptocurrency for $105,000 per tweet to his 810,000 direct followers.
We see a lot of negative news in the market and i am sure everything is sponsored by someone, some by the banks and so on and John McAfee is promoting coins by taking a bounty, but before doing that is he checking whether the coins he is promoting is genuine or not, there were ICO that were supported sports people and some are in trouble because of scams.
1722  Economy / Speculation / Re: what would happen to bitcoin in near future? on: April 06, 2018, 08:37:29 PM
some says soon it will go up again, some says it will take years to recover.
I do not foresee any immediate recovery in the price of bitcoin because of the uncertainty about how each country will implement their regulation over the cryptocurrency market and until that is cleared, i do not see any rally and i am looking at the market a years from now and i hope all these speculation over regulation will be over and the market starts rising again.
1723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stolen bitcoin can be traced on: April 03, 2018, 09:20:57 PM
There is no doubt that you can trace your coins, but the main question is how is that you are able to recover the lost coins, it is hard to recover those coins and even if the hackers sent the coins to any major exchanges , in order for you to block them you need to have a strong case against them so that you will win in the end, it is not that easy to recover the lost coins and that is the truth.
1724  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-03] Kazakhstan to Ban Trading Bitcoin as Well as Other Cryptocurrencies on: April 03, 2018, 08:22:04 PM
Most of the national bank representatives from around the globe have said the exact same things over the years and from what i understand they are yet to ban bitcoin and this is just a warning for the people that it might ban in the future and nothing else i guess, just another news update to scare away some users.  Tongue
1725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Girls in crypto? Guys and Girls weigh in. on: April 02, 2018, 10:01:12 PM
What barriers do you see to women becoming involved in the crypto community? I want to hear your ideas, so I can start making a plan to break down those barriers.
As far as i know it is a open platform and no one is stopping anyone in anything. So what barriers are you talking about, it is all about whether you are interested in it or not. I never thought about a gender race nor i do not know what share of people are here in this platform on both sides.

Maybe it's because of the rampant sexism that apparently exists in the community.
To answer the question fully, you would also need to address why there are proportionally less women in IT and computing in general.
Do you have any idea what you are talking about, i am in the technology field and i have equal proportion of both genders in my work place and i never found any sexism in this forum in my time here.
1726  Economy / Speculation / Re: Falling is not a bad thing. on: April 02, 2018, 08:36:09 PM
I think the price reduction is a good thing. What do you think?
I would not worry about the correction but i would not like to see the price of bitcoin going down a certain level as it would scare away potential investors in the future, if we are speculating about $50 k in the future, you need to have big investors trusting their money into bitcoin and that wont happen if the price goes down to a point of no return.
1727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google has been charged in Russia. on: April 01, 2018, 11:38:03 PM
to be honest Suing google for this seems more like a joke and since the source of it is not really valid i am going to assume it is a joke. and by the way the source is in Chinese!
It looks like a joke for me too , i have not seen any legit source sharing this news and google being a multinational corporate they can decide which advertisement goes in , so there is no provision in which anyone could file anything , there has being a lot of trolls online celebrating their birthday (April 1).  Cheesy
1728  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HELP !! I have experienced phishing on: April 01, 2018, 11:18:19 PM
I lost some $ and some token on my wallet, can anyone help me return my assets?
The transactions are not reversible, always be careful while storing your coins, never store your coins in any exchange if you are not having plans to trade and make sure your system is protected by the latest antivirus software to make there is no hidden applications running which are capturing your key strokes and are you telling that you lost your coins because of phishing sites ?
1729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are bitcoin transaction prices so expensive? on: April 01, 2018, 10:52:06 PM
You're right, it has been blown way out of proportion by the press. In fiat terms, yes it was high, but it should have been put in perspective. Even so there was a point where the BTC price for transactions was higher than desirable too. There has been a lot of research to improve scaling and lower the transaction fees. It's cutting edge, a work-in-progress, but the mainstream press has been merciless, painting Bitcoin as a finalized product.
It was not blown out of proportions just by the press but it was a reality that you were not able to send your coins a few months back smoothly and you have to pay a very high fees and longer time period for the transaction to get through and as a user we need to have cheaper transaction fees because the real use of bitcoin is to transfer anywhere in the world with less fees and now the transaction charges are really low like in the past couple of years.
1730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs Ortiz on: April 01, 2018, 10:13:03 PM
This is going to be a close one. They are both good fighters but since most people are betting on Wilder I think it makes sense to bet on his opponent. Record wise they are similar fighters, anything can happen so my money is on Ortiz. As for Wilder, he's easily provoked https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aflkKR43IHo  Cheesy
Also Wilder is a bad boxer technically, he's just strong, that's all.
Even I would be getting pissed of with that Troll Charlie Zelenoff and ill punch that guy so hard, seeing on the video cant really be denied Wilder got pissed. Grin

Going back into the fight my money would really be on Wilder just basing on the strength and experience you would really able to see who do have the edge but well as you said anything can happen.
I cannot understand what you are talking about here, are you really predicting the fights that is already over and @ Pixie85 even cannot predict the event correctly even when the fight is over almost a month back  Cheesy
@Oilacris Deontay Wilder won the fight by knocking out Ortiz in the tenth round. Do you guys follow boxing at all.  Tongue
1731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best investment is bitcoin on: March 31, 2018, 11:34:14 PM
When you look at the returns and losses of all these investments, the best was stockmarkets that gave average 2%. So bitcoin has given 700% yet people are complaining that it has been a bad investment, even though it is 350 times better than the next best investment. What other investment has given you 700% profit in one year?
No one in their right senses will debate about the profit percentage major crypto currencies gave than the rest of the investment methods and majority of the players who are complaining  are the ones who are new to the market and they might have had bad experience investing in a rallying market that suddenly collapsed.
1732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCH vs BTC? on: March 31, 2018, 10:46:03 PM
To be honest I have come across various such articles stating not only BCH but many other cryptos can cross bitcoin in capitalization and value. Talking specifically about Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Cash wouldn't be able to cross bitcoin and also from what I have heard that the team behind bitcoin cash isn't a very professional one. I have also one article where Bitcoin cash asked steam to make bitcoin cash as one of their payment methods but was denied xD.
How can you tell that the team behind bitcoin cash is not a professional one, in my opinion that is the only fork that is still going strong and they have a clear vision on what they path will be, but for people or stores to accept it is another thing, i am sure many have thought about switching to bitcoin cash when the bitcoin transaction charges were getting higher, now with the transaction charges back to normal the hype behind other coins will fade away.  Cheesy
1733  Economy / Speculation / Re: how long the bearish trend will last on: March 31, 2018, 09:25:43 PM
There is no clarity to determine how long these bear market will continue, but one thing is certain, we will see a good rally by the end of this year as the regulation talks will be over by then and the countries will come up with a clear idea about what they are going to do with it, until then expect the market to be like this.
1734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 223: Ferguson vs Nurmagomedov Info and Prediction Thread, Big Event! on: March 31, 2018, 08:39:33 PM
Also, from what I have seen from Joanna, she might want to get 1 win back hehehe.
I am also waiting for that match in MMA and in my opinion Valentina Shevchenko is much more skilled than Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Joanna actually blames her weight cut for her loss and the media obligations are said to be a burden now , even in the last fight i never expected Rose Namajunas to win by knockout and i am sure no experts predicted that either, lets see whether it was a fluke .
1735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 31, 2018, 07:59:31 PM
South Africa managed to score 488, with their tail wagging quite a bit. Australia on the other hand had a procession of batsmen walking in to bat and then walking out. Except Khawaja none of the other batsmen could get set in the match. At 110/6, Australia will find it very difficult to avoid a follow on in this match.
Australia is in a really bad situation and they are not having their best team after the controversy and they lost their best players in that and it is hard for them to come back in this situation, South Africa does have a strong bowling line up and if they could pick the wicket of Tim Paine in the morning session then they will be forced to follow on.
1736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 223: Ferguson vs Nurmagomedov Info and Prediction Thread, Big Event! on: March 26, 2018, 10:55:38 PM
Jedrzejczyk's kickboxing was overrated imo. I think before Jedrzejczyk moved to american top team her kickboxing was better than Karolina's but not by a lot. Valentina vs Joanna could be a good rematch in MMA as its been said Valentina is 3-0 against Joanna in kickboxing.
Valentina Shevchenko is my favorite fighter in the women's division after Cyborg and Valentina has three wins over Jedrzejczyk and she was fighting against bigger opponents in Bantamweight division and with the new division open in the UFC she is the future champion in Flyweight division and i do not see anyone challenging her in that division as it is the right division for her size.
1737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Year of altcoins or down again? on: March 26, 2018, 09:56:44 PM
We are witnessing a strange situation on the cryptocurrency market. Over the past 2 months, the cryptocurrency has experienced a strong correction. But now I hear more and more that soon will begin a large growth of altcoins. What do you think about it, friends?
The alt coin market did not gain much of a momentum like we anticipated and i expected the alt coin market to make a move this year, but the regulation talks have seriously dented the growth and most of the coins have come down considerably and there are promising projects right now to invest as the price is going down for some time and hopefully we will see a rally this year.
1738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Current status of bitcoins in India- Completely Legal on: March 26, 2018, 09:40:18 PM
Most of the people have this confusion because there is no clear regulation regarding it and the lack of knowledge on what bitcoin is the main factor for these confusions and more over the government is giving statements against it every now and then and the media is creating some confusions over the general public , i am expecting regulation in India this year .
1739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl or sell my bitcoins and buy again when it’s gone down even more on: March 26, 2018, 07:34:41 PM
Do not take this buying opportunity for granted. One day many people will wish that they should have bought all the coins they can under $10,000.
This is without a doubt an opportunity to buy coins at a good rate considering what the price would be a few years from now, the market is really volatile and you can make a good profit with this kind of market as the price is going up and down within a weeks time, i would hold my coin for the long term rather than selling off my coins when the market turns negative.
1740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 26, 2018, 07:09:58 PM
Australian team is actually in shambles now. They've done the stuff which no one expected from them, and they're probably going to take months to recover from this damage of shamefulness. Bounce back in next match is highly unlikely.
I really doubt whether we can say that we never expected them to do, but they usually used to carry on with all the tricks in the book to win a game and now they are caught red handed and there is no way they could shy away from the fact and so is the reason they accepted it and if they could bounce back in the next match i am sure everyone will forget this incident .
