Ran some more numbers. I know everyone cares. My own actual minting results averaged out indicate that zeitcoin(IN YOUR WALLET) yields 1.372% every 20 days(without compounding). This is equal to 0.06858% daily. Obviously this is far less than some other PoS coins pay, but here's where it gets interesting. If you compute yield/day/satoshi then Zeitcoin is the single best PoS coin there is. At a cost of 5 satoshis Zeitcoin's yield/day/satoshi = 0.01371652% which is insane. For comparison purposes HBN @ 29000 is equal to 0.00000976%/day/satoshi even though it pays 100% yearly.

what is their edge over other coins? Less people that sell every time the price goes up one satoshi.

A 22btc ask wall is child's play for even a whale calf. The whale takes out a couple ask walls and puts up a healthy bid wall at 6 or 7 and a lot of silly amateur gordon gecko wannabes are going to be sad. Maybe the exchange gets hacked or closes up shop and just decides to keep everyone's coins...think we've all seen that play out a couple times now.

I can assure you guys that massive numbers of Zeitcoins are being exchanged at 5 and are not showing up on any ask walls anywhere. Hold the line, these guys will break. I just wish some folks will actually start nibbling the ask at 6. I want my 150m zeit at 6 to sell so I can accumulate more at 5 before the next big pumpity pump. IOW you're part of the problem. In that case I hope your ask gets taken out on our way to 8/7 and you never get a chance to buy back in. Cheers. lol That's less than 1.5btc profit after fees. Hardly a good incentive to suppress the price of you own investment. 150m Zeitcoin that won't be staking and adding to the money supply. Here's an alternative. Take your 150m Zeitcoin and put it in your own wallet for 20ish days. When it stakes you'll have approximately 152,054,800 Zeitcoin. *When* the price moves up to 7/6 you could then sell all your Zeitcoin for approximately 9.12btc. If you bought at 5 then this is a higher payoff than buying at 5 selling at 6 and *hoping* to buy back at 5 again later. As a bonus you needn't leave your coins sitting on an exchange, which I think we all know is a very risky play. Also the price could go to 8/7 over those 20 days and you could do even better.

That's right. The code is designed to keep them 85~88 degrees. Any extra cooling does not improve their performance or help their longevity and only generates more noise and consumes more power. so they do not throttle at 85c? When you say "keep them at 85~88" does that imply that there's an autoclocking mechanism at work? Similar to your autoclocking code with Avalons? No there is heaps of headroom at 85 degrees. Only the fans adjust to keep them at that temperature. They only clock down at much higher temperatures. Thanks for clarifying. The fans are staying, I already bled to put them there. Hard to get used to seeing your equipment exceeding 80c as normal.

Now that I've had some time to kick the tires and ambient temps have risen dramatically here, it's pretty clear that the sierra needs some cooling help, particularly overclocked. I've obtained appropriate fasteners to attach 3x delta afb1212she 120mm fans. These I will add to the front of the unit to create a push pull airflow arrangement through the radiators. Forgive me if all this has been gone over previously, I haven't been attentive to threads dealing with actual operation of the sierra as I figured I'd never see one.
I'll post the results of this operation if anyone is interested. They are supposed to run about 85C. Thats the sweet spot temperature. Absolutely no reason that I'm aware of to run them cooler. Hey jd, my understanding is that 85c is the point in which the sierra begins to throttle. That doesn's sound like a sweetspot. Heat kills electronics and 85c is hot. Not sure where the single temp reading is being generated from however. That's right. The code is designed to keep them 85~88 degrees. 84c @ 604 mhz. Got the fans on and temps are 79c presently. I don't believe I modified fan operation with my .bat file, but I'll give that a whirl too. Ambient is 28c.
REALLY ticks me off that hashlast is operated by such scumbags. I really like the unit.
Edit: well that doubled the volume. lol

Zeitpool Information
Someone has stolen all of the coins from Zeitpool........just kidding
Everything is going fine, just a little behind schedual for payouts. On top of easter weekend and all of that...my father inlaw suffered 2 heart attacks over the weekend, and it's just been very very busy...and since there is no current automatic payout right now, all calculations and sending has to be done manually.
I have the Zeitcoin...over 15Million, that's double from last payout, and pretty much in the same time frame. Congrats community, everyone here is amazing.
Once again I want to remind people that I do NOT take any percentage from the pool, and I am volunteering my time to take care of all of this, and to respond to your PM's.
(I do accept donations... MpdRKHCnenGNn4Y2ndcHjBEwUyj1ZZ8mAf) which really I'm sure will not be spent on me, but on keeping this machine well oiled.
Wtih so many rip offs in the alt coin world, I feel it's important to be as transparent as possible.
Hope to send out payments as soon as I possibly can!!
cheers Thanks for all your hard work! Donation sent. Hope your father-in-law is recovering.

I can assure you guys that massive numbers of Zeitcoins are being exchanged at 5 and are not showing up on any ask walls anywhere. Hold the line, these guys will break. There was a 25BTC buy at 5, and got eaten slowly for 2 days and then a 20BTC dump and still some crazies sell BTC worth at 4. Impatient Dumbasses Long as you don't intend to sell, a lower bid/ask is a good thing for accumulating. Let the weak hands keep dumping at 4 & 5 while true Zeitcoin freaks get cheaper coin and take them off the market. Eventually there won't be any supply for these guys to dump at these low prices and we'll move up into a new trading range...again. We're pretty stable at 6/5/4 now when we were pinned back at 3/2/1 for some while. I suspect the next major move will take us definitively to 8/7 and the guys dumping now at 5 & 4 will feel rather silly.

thanks coindevcc! i know you are only a temp operator there but youre doing a great job.
maybe people can come up with a fund to add features to our multipool. it needs some help it seems.
I plant on adding a better backend administration, time is hard to come by for me lately. If I had 4-5 hours to do it, I would gladly do it. My wife is staring daggers at me for being on here all day working on projects, then going to work all week writing code as well...but it doesn't take a genius to know, that getting into crypto dev, and being on top of it, is smart. I really wish that I could find a couple hours to add some better functionality to the backend...I will soon. For those expecting payouts, their coming as soon as I can find some time to send them. I truly am sorry that it is taking a while. Take it easy on yerself man. It's obvious to anyone you're working your tail off. Stop and smell the Easter flowers.

In wafflepool says that has send me 0.01369019 but in my zeit wallet i have`t any zeit payment
The BTC is used to buy Zeit and pay out. And I just noticed that 20BTC buy wall at 5 is gone .. really 25BTC dump at 5? I wouldn't worry much about that. No, not at all... a) More cheap Zeit for the multipool & b) Everyone dumb enuff to sell that cheap simply doesn't DESERVE to have any Feels like impatience. These guys are pushing to sell out at lower prices. When they run out of ammo there won't be anything to hold back the tide.

Mathematically speaking, a wallet with larger blocks that stake sooner will receive more HBN in the long run than a wallet with small blocks that take longer to stake, even though you are compensated for the extra days. One major factor is that in order for large blocks to accumulate faster, you would need to combine blocks immediately after they stake, or else coin days are wasted.
At the end of the day there isn't a huge difference between the two reward wise. It is all about what makes you happy and what is fun. how to make the large blocks? Just use coin control to send the dust to another addy for reassembly then send them back as a contiguous block. http://wiki.hobonickels.info/index.php?title=Coin_Control
