Iran has exported $2.5 billion for cryptocurrency

According to Bitcoin.com, Mohammad Reza Pourebrahimi, chairman of the Iranian parliament’s economic committee, revealed that Iran has already flowed out of US$2.5 billion to purchase cryptocurrencies. He believes that one of the benefits of cryptocurrency is the “absence of US regulators” that can circumvent sanctions. At present, Iran does not design national virtual currency, but the national virtual currency helps promote economic transactions and circumvent sanctions.

At the time of writing Earthcoin Price: ¥0.006593

Request Network:
The Request Network is an Ethereum-based, decentralized payment system in which anyone can request a payment and receive money in a secure way. It removes the need for trusted third-parties to provide a cheaper and more secure payment solution that works with all global currencies. Y Combinator has decided to support Request Network as well. It is we can say strong decentralized competitor of PayPal.

1743  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Full Cycle Mining Controller on: May 09, 2018, 05:21:50 AM
Not a switch - a bus. A message bus. All devices are interconnected through a message bus so any device can listen to messages on the bus or can publish messages that other devices can listen to. Full cycle supports this for very flexible deployment strategies that scale.

The miner stats and sensor readings are broadcast on the bus so you can do anything you want with them. Display on screen, push to cloud, etc. The Raspberry Pi with LCD touch screen is just an entry level starting point for a small size farm.

Software components to extend and customize the controller can be written in any language that can talk to the bus. Python, Javascript, PHP, Go, ...

How difficult would it be to;
Let's say, hooking up 5 GPU based mining rigs with a RPi and display the stats on a mini display
Versus, hooking the same setup with 5 Asic miners?

And can you teach me? How much would it cost? PM me the details.
1744  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you deal with power outages in a developing country (like India)? on: May 08, 2018, 06:28:39 PM
It is difficult in areas where there are power shortages so you need to find a way to work offline which means saving work frequently, and getting a good backup system in case the outage causes disk corruption

The only time a power outage affected any storage of mine was a couple years ago when my cellphone's memory got damaged during a power cut as it was plugged into the wall charger.
But I hear you. A backup like a UPS is something that I've always had but I need long term solution.
1745  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HERO member user is a scammer on: May 08, 2018, 03:37:58 PM
Sigh..

Listen, Mikhail.

I am not sure which community you keep mentioning. I don't see a Gastery community on this forum.
But if you have an ANN thread. Send me the link I'll issue an apology to the community for delaying designing signatures.
Yes, you were a bit too quick on the trigger to tag me with an accusation but I hope you do remember that you also said something at the beginning of our conversation on Tele which was an outright lie about me. I chose to let that slide. Remember? I am not going to dig at those old graves anymore.

You made a scam accusation for something I really did not intend to do.
Yes, I should not have taken the project if I couldn't complete it. I did not know I would not be able to keep my promises. It is just not something I do. But, off lately my circumstances have been really against me.
It's not your fault. It's mine.
You can be as trigger friendly or whatever you want to be, I am not here to change your character, you hired me for a work and I couldn't deliver. Period. Its water under the bridge lets not fight over spilt milk. It won't be good for either of us. And do forget my rash remarks about you, what you did was indeed a slap across my face for something I did not choose to do and my knee-jerk angry reaction was out of place.

Do consider locking the thread and removing the pictures of our telegram conversations. I think we both would appreciate our privacy. And remove the word Scammer from this thread if you're at it.
This is just a request. And my last and most sincerely apologetic statement regarding this issue.

Good luck.
1746  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HERO member user is a scammer on: May 08, 2018, 03:08:15 PM
I understand that it was kind of a slap in the face for the client to make this open accusation against you; it's definitely not fair, given that you're going through a bunch of issues and emergencies in your personal life. However, as a freelancer myself, the client doesn't care about personal issues. Your reputation is based on your ability to deliver the product on time.

I definitely know what it means to get bogged down and have life get in the way of things, so I know how much this sucks for you, @legendster; sorry for all the shit you're going through at the moment.

I really hope this works out for you in the end!

Nothing else to work out. He keeps being a dick and I have refunded him in full (excess) already.
I just don't appreciate people like this and I know the freelance employer mentality, I am one myself.
And thanks for understanding. And make no mistake, I fully understand this is my fault for not being online despite setting the deadline myself.

"Keep the change", "you're a dick" - what do you think about yourself? Dear Hero, stop whining and start being a man.
What are you talking about, you don't have time? You're make your posts and doing your stuff, and you don't give a f*ck about your task.
And now you told me i'm a dick?
I think everybody here can see who's a dick.
Take care.

And this is why I said;
Albeit, I agree, this could have been handled more politely. I chose not to.

"Keep the change", "you're a dick" - what do you think about yourself? Dear Hero, stop whining and start being a man.

Don't want to keep the change? Fine return the $12 here : 183fRkZ7oCZRAE7ZvYTPMtDsXXPENSJVvX

Me ? whining ? you are the one who posted a scam thread for delayed work. And what I think of myself has nothing to do with this situation. Obviously, I think I am a better person than you think I ought to be. I never intended to rip you off. You treated me like someone who was going to rip you off right from the get go. THAT should have been the first sign for me to not work with you.

Its water under the bridge, I delayed, you whined, you got your money back. I apologized for my mistake. While you keep being .. you... So, move on. Good luck with your projects.

I'm agree with you, but i'm not a harmless or anything that user thinks, i'm an usual user and also works as a freelancer) I can understand any problems and we can hire another designer, but as you can see in post by SFR10 - legenster continious doing his own staff almost all this days.
When I see that a person is engaged in his own affairs and says that he has got into trouble - it looks like a deception.

My own staff? oh you mean my own stuff? I am guessing you are talking about the forum posts.
Since you might not know, I cannot design a signature on a mobile device, I can make posts here on this forum with a mobile device.
I need a computer to work on sigs. And since I had electricity issues I really could not be online from a computer in the weekend and what little time I had I had to solve that personal issue that I keep mentioning.
But its okay, not everyone knows everything. Not everyone is a considerate person. It is my mistake this happened in the first place so I'll choose to let your ignorance slide away.
1747  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HERO member user is a scammer on: May 08, 2018, 02:52:19 PM
I wouldn't necessarily call this a scam, but I would move this thread to Reputation.

While I can understand that things have come up for you, @legendster, it sounds like @ewaiterico was planning to use your designs in order to carry out a campaign. Given that YOU dictated the delivery dates and didn't deliver, you are responsible for this mishap. I don't think it's out of the ordinary for this type of thread to have been made. The way that you responded to your client in the screenshot is very unprofessional, no matter how fucked up you think your client was for making this thread. You could have simply resolved the issue and then asked for them to edit the thread.

Just my $0.02, but I hope you guys work this out. I'd hate to see a reputation get even further tarnished.

I can be nice to people and you know that. I can't be nice to people if they raise a finger at me for something that I did not do and never intended to do.
I was apologetic and went through a lot of troubles to be online as fast as I can. Even you faced similar situations in your signatureless campaign.
I just have a low tolerance for dickery. That's all.
Albeit, I agree, this could have been handled more politely. I chose not to.

I can confirm that Legendster has been suffering from power issues due to temperate weather. I am certain he did not intend to scam, so I don't know why this is in the scam accusation section. Is that what Bitcointalk is now? Posting scam reports when someone is a couple days late with work?

I guess. But let's forget it. I'd like to forget him.
1748  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HERO member user is a scammer on: May 08, 2018, 02:37:11 PM
Here's the address for refund:
3EDd4M2cB8NHMxWjVGFyTDvZfZg3rvrtdR

I can understand if this user told me that he can't do the job.
But i don't care what kind of problems do you have, if you told me i'm a dick and "i can't wait".

A question for community: should i delete this topic after full refund?
Thanks for all.

I wouldn't take advance payment if I wasn't interested in completing your work. Life's a bitch shit happens and every once in a while we run into inconsiderate people.
You didn't even wait 24 hours for me to come back.
You opened a scam thread despite me offering a FULL REFUND.
Ergo, you're screwing with my rep = Thats being a dick.
Plus you were being a dick at the start of our conversation on Tele where I was aptly backing away from dealing with you. It was my mistake where I decided to go against that initial decision.

Keep your thread alive for all I care.

0.0219 sent. Thats $200 at current rate. Keep in mind at current rate you only sent me $188. Keep the change.
Will send Txid in a few minutes.

Regardless, this was my mistake. I apologize for not being able to deliver on time and being offline. But you're still a dick. TC
1749  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HERO member user is a scammer on: May 08, 2018, 01:35:15 PM
My bad guys.
I am bogged down with bad weather and electricity issues and a couple of personal issues that came out of no where during the weekend. Trying to get fixed.
OP your sigs are already done but given the fact you chose to open a thread instead of waiting for me to come back, I'd rather refund you your money instead of the work that you paid me to do.
Please provide an address here in this thread.
Please refrain from messaging me about this issue in the inbox from now.

-edit-
I would also request you to remove the word scammer from this thread since I did not scam you. And I offered a full refund for "DELAYED" work and I haven't even been offline for 24 hours.

I have asked the user to post his address here on this thread already. Still no response here. If I do not see the address here in this thread within the next 5 minutes. I will use the address in the image for the refund.

I will send $200 at current rate.
1750  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] IOS - Signature & Avatar Campaign | Up to $150/week in BTC & Tokens! on: May 07, 2018, 12:40:46 PM
Looks like he is the worst signature manager on this forum.

Every week he is delaying payment even though he got funds in his account. I will open up a reputation thread and ask someone to tag his account so that in future people will not take his service.

If he is busy at least should inform members when he is going to count the post and pay. Its been already few days but no response to members queries.

Quit shit talking. Nobody is going to pay any attention to you.
There was no delay in payments last week.
If there have been delays this time then there must be a good reason for it. Before beating your drums like a howler monkey, pay attention and have patience.

Try harder.
1752  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Selling btc in cash in Ranchi Jharkhand on: May 07, 2018, 10:18:10 AM
You think I should be using my old "valuable" account for this, just to let people know my location. Are you nuts  Huh

I have nuts. Unlike you, I am not pretending to hide.

This trick of "I have an old valuable account" bullshit is old. I am calling you out as a potential scammer now.
Prove me otherwise.
1753  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook CoFounder Wants $3 Trillion Tax On Rich To Fund Universal Basic Income on: May 07, 2018, 05:34:35 AM
I'm no millionaire by any stretch of the imagination but I don't see the point of sharing my income to enable freeloaders. I'm sorry. I'd much rather share my torrents rather than my income. The idea of giving away free stuff and in this case money is idiotic.
Off course the idea of receiving free money is very alluring so there would be many who'd want this. Even if they don't want it.
1754  Economy / Economics / Re: The relation between Bitcoin and stock market prices - has it changed? on: May 06, 2018, 10:21:01 PM
I think there's a reverse relation. The stock market dips and the Crypto rises.
I'll bring in some charts and evidences in this thread later on to prove this hypothesis.
1755  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] IOS - Signature & Avatar Campaign | Up to $150/week in BTC & Tokens! on: May 06, 2018, 10:08:43 PM
I am back on bitcointalk after a relax period, can I apply for this campaign? or is it over? thank you for the reply!

You can see it says CFNP. Meaning its Closed For New Participants.
1756  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Full Cycle Mining Controller on: May 06, 2018, 09:45:07 PM
I wonder if all these outputs could be displayed on a low powered LCD screen through some controller api?
Does it make sense? Maybe add a switch to switch between the stats of multiple connected miners. It could be a neat little gadget.
If anyone can gather any sense about what I am talking about, then get in touch through PM.
1757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Top ICO ;) ;) ;) on: May 06, 2018, 09:41:43 PM
The only people that are concerned about the "TOP ICO" are bounty hunters. Because it is obvious that a good performing ICO is backed up with huge amounts of funds that translates to higher rewards for bounty hunters.

However, people forget that ICO is just a phase that a startup goes through, albeit the most exciting phase so much so that it could be termed the honeymoon phase, but the hard work actually begins AFTER the ICO concludes successfully, there's a life after ICO for startups that most people who are comparing ICO's never care to factor in.

And without factoring that in you cannot truly talk about the top ICO.
1758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin portfolio management on: May 06, 2018, 09:27:22 PM
I don't use any. Yet. But I have been looking into Cointracker.io it looks nicer and feels more premium (and probably is)
From the videos and demos it seems more stable and easily scalable in the future.
The one you mentioned however, Cointracking feels cheaper and unstable.
And obviously, we have cryptocompare which has been consistently good over time.
1759  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex does not give 130 ETH, 4 month! Awaiting Approwal! Help! on: May 06, 2018, 09:06:10 PM
No one into this community would able to help him but only poloniex itself as i have seen on the printscreen thats a pending withdrawal which do need approval for a total of 45 ETH which supposedly to be $35k amount as of this current which is already a big amount.Theres nothing you can do but only poloniex would really able to resolve this one.By the way put this on scam accusations since this is not the proper board to post such thing.

Maybe not help him directly but at least Polo would be tagged negatively and people would be warned against using that platform for sure. The loss in revenue, a bad image and other PR reasons may force their hand to escalate the issue.
All that, if this guy knows how to present his case properly. For someone who stands to lose $35k the least he can do is file the threads in the correct sections.
1760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: offer an exchange on: May 06, 2018, 09:03:23 PM
Good day to all! I want to propose to change my VIP account Fortunejack for 2 - 3 coins of LTC. How much to whom such an exchange is interesting. VIP gives you a return every week 20% of the lost amount, that's all the advantage of a regular account and support for your manager.

I am not sure if selling Fortunejack accounts are allowed or not, but I can tell you that this thread is in the wrong section. It should be under Digital Goods / Accounts & Invites.

Also, you should provide ample proof of ownership of the account that you're trying to sell.
