One of the factors that drove the recent Blackcoin price was the addition to this somewhat exclusive list. If only the AUR community could do what the blackcoin community did. We are almost there. https://www.coinkite.com/faq/altsUpdate: April 9th, 2014
After just one day in our list, the BlackCoin community has contributed about 265,372 BLK, valued at more than ฿25 at total's exchange rates. We will be adding BLK support, for all Coinkite members, targeting completion by June 1st.
Come May 1st, we will be returning all other donated coins to each respective foundation. If there is interest, we could add more altcoins should they make it past the goal line by then.

Why is Aurora falling so much? Is there something I missed?
50% premined to dump duh.... I guess so. I also guess I did not expect this to be such a failure as an experiment, but I probably just got hypnotised by the initial "success"

AND.. i still think the price is somehow pulled down intentionally.. i have this feeling for some time now... when you look at exchanges, there are so many "0,01" / "0,05" / "0,1" / ... AUR sells, it just doesn't make any sense to me, why is somebody selling such small amounts.. regularly.. for many days now.. even when the price is so low..

This looks extremely dubious. Any time a developer doesn't answer very easily answered questions, it's time to avoid the coin.
I have not seen the developer avoid anything...but feel free to provide some evidence if you wish. What questions do you want answered?

Guys and fellow Aussies, we asked non threatening questions and none are answered,
I just pointed to where at least one was answered.

I had some IPO's email me and they are not happy either.
I participated in the IPO and am quite happy. No one else who participated has publicly complained, as far as I know. Which makes one happy customer and no unhappy ones, as far as we know. They have not done anything wrong, as far as we can see, and you continue to provide no evidence they have. If you have some evidence then you should say what the evidence is.

@audcoindev Are you based in Australia?? What plans do you have for this coin?
No answer?? Thats correct! they won't answer! How many times would you like them to answer? They answered it here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=538580.msg6150047#msg6150047I live in WA and am willing to meet anyone any Sunday Monday in perth. I am also heading to Melbourne in two months so I'll happily meet anyone there also.

Payment gateway is in the works. This will make the adoption to accept AUS Coins far easier
Can you expand on this? Payment gateways allow through API the easy addition to any website to accept AUS as payment and get the $ in return. So this would need an exchange that had a AUS-AUD market? Or AUS to BTC to AUD? 1.Send AUS to merchants deposit address. 2.Merchant goes to the exchange and sell AUS and gets AUD? Is that how it would work?

The market is always an ebb and flow, especially in the early days of a coin. Volume is an often overlooked factor, and an important one. Having a wall up at X amount is fine and dandy, but a coin needs volume (buys and sells) to grow. The end goals of this coin are to be more than just speculative in nature. Sell a few coins, buy a few coins. Spread them around the growing community. Support the coin, and get volume going. Value will then take care of itself. Let's grow together! I think we need something to differentiate the coin. ATM the coin is pretty much like HIC, which took it's ideas from another coin anyway. But for the moment, at least, HIC seems to have had it's day in the sun, so it's a little tricky to see how this one will capture peoples attention. It's likely to get pigeon holed in the absence of that perceived differentiation IMHO.

The Price is stable now at 0.00004btc , please dont sell your lime coins so cheap it wont help the coin or you, remember that the price is set by users. Ppl are just sorry... in the begging I sold LIM ............ But surely, this is the problem. People sold LIM, rather than buying LIM. If you all bought LIM rather than selling LIM, then the price would have gone up. I came to this thread and said I was buying LIM, and what happened? No one welcomed me and one poster told me to go away. But if I go away, then that just leaves all you people wanting to sell LIM, and the price will go down.

Got it working... Thanks for you help guys.. But i have to say the price for the coin is super low at the moment. Hope it picks up.
The price of most alt coins has been under pressure this last week, so it's not just Limecoins. But if Limecoin is to rise above the hundreds of other coins then I'd imagine it needs a community working toward that goal. At the moment we have people mining the coin, which is very important, but it's unclear what other initiatives are developing. A coin IMHO needs more that just miners hoping the value will go up to rise above the many other coins. But that's just my 2 cents worth. Do people agree or disagree?

Are there any plans to be able to exchange Limecoins for goods or services or even Fiat, at this stage? Or is the plan to have Limecoins as a store of value, that one can exchange for BTC? Just asking.

well ... i only have one thing to say ... go back trading your doge joker trader ... you made me sick
Can you explain exactly what you think I have done wrong? I am happy to do something different if I have done anything wrong.

Well I bought some Limecoin, @ 0.00005 on the exchange. And I know some think that is way too cheap. I haven't mined any just spent BTC which I paid for with Fiat. However I am a little concerned about the future of the coin. The coin may be very good but that doesn't mean it will succeed. I think, people need to be educated about the coin. Yet, when I put an order in to buy some here were not too happy as my bid seemed a little low. So I asked if it could be explained why Limecoin was different to or better than say HIC (which was just an example.) So I think it's reasonable to ask those who like this coin to explain why they do like it. And i'm asking in a friendly way. Would someone be able to say why they like it? Thank you

well ... i think you're trying to defend your hirocoin's prices Defend? In what way? Surely I'd want to attack HIC price if I wanted Lime to be lower (I'm not sure if you noticed too, but I was pointing out that Lime is a lot cheaper than HIC, on the basis I used) and ... if you looked more attentively on europex you could see the trade history ... and ... if you were on europex a little bit more then you could see that there are some buy offers but you maybe looked at the wrong moment Like I said, I only looked at Lime tonight, and there were no bids. don't forget it's the people who make the price not a fallen altcoin price (this shady reputation coin price has gone down a lot do you want lime to do the same??) I have no Lime, and can't say I even understand the coin properly yet, so it doesn't matter to me where they are. you can't compare tomatos and bananas bu they're 2 fruits ... huh ? I'm all ears if you want to explain why Lime is different or better. As i said I had a quick look. and ... to finish i don't think it's a good idea, to put this kind of prices EXACLY when there's no other buy orders ...
You are welcome to outbid me if it's too cheap. I'm not meaning anything except to discover where the interest is now. The best way is for me to bid, and then maybe be outbid. Though in thinly traded coins this may not work so well. What you could also look at is the fact there are loads and loads of sell orders. It looks like people are keen to sell.
