Now that all the issues seem to have been worked out we should be ready for addition.

Hey guys.. not sure if it's been discussed yet here, but is GRC going to be hitting any exchanges soon? Or coinmarketcap?
Or is there still a bit of promo and debugging to be done first?

With the new scheme I think it has to be showing around 50-60 under full load and the other half comes from the averages over time. That is my understanding of it.

thanks! a little step forward.

Now, cgminer works fine, but i have boinc utilizzation 66% when it would be 100% and, also, i see no hashrate on cgminer API in Grindcoin mining module.

I red the posts before, and i've already tried to write lodctr /r from an elevated prompt, and restart gridcoin-qt, but nothing changed.

I'm missing something...but what?

edit: my boinc thread counter is 4, and that's correct, and my boinc avg daily credits is 339...

Are you running Gridcoin as admin?

do you mean gridcoin-qt.exe? no.., but now i try running it as admin but nothing change Sad
same exactly values i had before Sad

do i need to run as admin aslo cgminer?

You don't need to run cgminer as admin but you do need to run gridcoin-qt.exe as admin.

All your BOINC info is displaying correctly then, yes...?

You are just missing cgminer hashrate info...? Are you running cgminer from inside the gridcoin client or are you starting an external instance of cgminer...?

ok, i understand. I run gridcoin-qt.exe as admin, but boinc utilizzation 66% instead of 100%, and i don't see cgminer hashrate info.

I use an external instance of cgminer..

When it gets to 8 days, how long does it stay there?

I've tried to DL the qt 3 times and then tried the .msi file and still won't sync up. Keeps getting stuck at 8-9 days behind even after I restart it. Someone please help, I can't figure out how to fix it.

Try using the "Rebuild Block Chain" option, it seems to fix just about everything for me.

I can't find that option. My mining console won't start up and neither will the project console

It's in the wallet to the right of "Projects"
There's nothing to the right of projects in my wallet, and i tried the conf idea above and nothing is working because these things you guys say are supposed to be there aren't.

I am using a backup from 2 months ago. Shouldn't matter right?

I tried re synching from the start with latest version and I am getting still wrong transaction amounts and no mined blocks showing after the 5th of December. This never happened with the previous versions.

I ma
All my wallet  at, so it seems to be the same situation that someone else was having earlier.
Try rebuild the block chain one final time from 0, and anything your private keys are for should come up correctly.

Do you have a back up of your wallet from a week ago?

All transactions stored in the chain should bring back your balances if you can replace your wallet.

All my wallet balances and transaction are way off with the new client. It is showing amounts on transactions that I have never done. Also the wallet is not showing anything mined after 12/5/2013. Very odd.

Merry X-mas everyone!

Just wanted to let Rob know I woke up this morning to find my client stalled again with the latest version.

My cgminer shows that it had a rejected block, three new blocks passed after that and then that is where the client stalled at, so it seems to be the same situation that someone else was having earlier.

I tried 2 different wallet files and on both it is showing weird transaction amounts and it is not showing anything that was mined in the last 2 weeks.

All my wallet balances and transaction are way off with the new client. It is showing amounts on transactions that I have never done. Also the wallet is not showing anything mined after 12/5/2013. Very odd.

That is pretty weird that it's not showing your mined tx's...

For the tx's you're seeing that you never created, are they perhaps the beacon tx's for cpu mining...?

The new site design is amazing. Looks really good.

Web site upgraded:

http://www.gridcoin.us

Upgraded the block explorer to a new version of IIS.

I really hope this fixes the sync issue.

All,

Version 1.1.4.4 is now available for download from the prod MSI.

Alternatively, you can type upgrade from the rpc.

Starting at block 36775 the client will reject stale mined orphans instead of storing them, and we believe this was the root cause of the syncing issues.

Best Regards,
Rob Halford

That is very good news.

is there any chance that cryptsy or something like that will add gridcoin on his market?

Have not heard from cryptsy yet (we were hoping to solve the syncing problems first; on that note, we haven't tested the newest version for a full day yet so let's hope this latest version solved it)
BUT, I did receive an e-mail this morning from https://www.coins-e.com/ saying they are considering us for their exchange!

wonderfull!

The r9 280 has proximately 2048 stream processing units.

Thread concurrency should be @ ~ 20,000 - 21000 and intensity should be @ 18-19. that will solve your speed issues. Make sure the gpu have space between them and a fan or something else blowing on them to get good air circulation. And get rid of the -g command.

Hey Zulzedd, can you add a line chart that plots the trades to the sheet? like the lotto coin trade sheet.
