1761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think? on: May 06, 2018, 06:12:12 PM
LOL dude giving option IOST to have as a investment and hodl it for sometime. ..

Enlighten me, what's so funny?

I think that making cash from them is now, cause their prices will be falling for some next weeks and it will be only harder to make nice profit from it.

Wrong.
If you're a trader for a long time, you know how to cash in on these dips. For a trader, every dip is an opportunity and every bump is a gold mine. So doesn't matter when the price rises or falls as long as there are ANY movements in the graph, the potential to make a quick buck from it would always exist.
1762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best thermal paste for GPU??? on: May 06, 2018, 05:37:30 PM
Hello, anybody know the best thermal paste? The one that chills more

It doesn't matter which paste you use. I've heard people using toothpaste ffs lol!
Just clean the paste and reapply regularly.
I stick to a local brand called Fluxon. I m pretty sure you won't find it where you stay though.

All this assuming you can disassemble the heatsink easily without causing any damage to any components.
1763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think? on: May 06, 2018, 05:32:42 PM
The last few days of bullish tokens are now falling. I really can't understand the current situation. Huh Huh Huh

Not IOST, I know that there has been a drop of ~10% give or take but this token has held it's ground. The signature campaign - which by the way you can see I am a part of right now, is also doing a great job at getting it the right exposure.

In the short term the old saying holds true, what goes up, comes down. So yeah if you're in token trades for short term, its a good time to cash out. But if you want to invest for long term, then IOSt, Tron, Telcoin, Amb are all good stuff to invest in.

May the HODL be with you.
1764  Local / Press & News from India / Re: India is going ligalize bitcoin on: May 06, 2018, 05:15:17 PM
Beautiful joke. Indian Govt and RBI have taken measures to curb bitcoin in India. It is not coming either. But rather RBI might launch its own digital currency called Lakhsmicoin.

Enough about this bullshit Lakshmicoin! I've been hearing about it for years and no there are no sources verifying this. Stop necro-ing old threads and stop spreading fuds.

Sorry for your loss.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
How many times have we warned newbies against using any exchange to store any coins on online wallets and exchanges? But it seems like you peeps are just not ready to listen.
Ab bhugto! (Now suffer)

If you want any kind of help from anyone, then move this thread to the right sub section of the forum. I think this should go under scams & accusations.
1766  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think about Jinbi - The Golden ICO? on: May 06, 2018, 05:08:11 PM
I recently joined to this wonderful and unique project. Investing time and effort here is worth it.

bounty link ~ https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3448783.0
ann link ~ https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3388735

what do you think about this project? let me hear your thoughts

Seems to me you're just trying to promote it for your own personal gains, I don't see much potential in this project, in fact if I had a shit list I'd add this there.
I am sick and tired of hearing Gold, bitcoin and blockchain kept being used in the same sentence.
1767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is IDEX exchange legit? on: May 06, 2018, 05:04:34 PM
IDEX is not avaiable for few days, it seems fishy. I hope that they won´t leave with our money.
But besides, it's a good exchange with low fess and many ICOs are listed here.

Downtimes are common with exchanges. Even Binance and Cex have been there and they have proven their worth. It may be too soon to say anything about IDEX though. And if you haven't read my previous comment, then let me repeat, do not store your cryptos in online wallets and exchanges.
1768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Coinseed - Spare Change Investment in Cryptocurrency Portfolios on: May 06, 2018, 05:02:55 PM
So you are accepting american investment? Get ready to face some serious hurdles down the road. What precautions have you taken to safeguard your investor's coins against a hack, a ban and swooping regulations? (especially in US)
1769  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The Crypto10.Fund: Cryptocurrency Investment Made Easy on: May 06, 2018, 04:58:49 PM
This looks like a surefire way to lose your money. Who is even backing this bot? Where's the team? Without some trustworthy people behind the idea I do not think you would attract much attention or investment. Unless you attract young fools looking to make a quick buck.
1770  Other / Archival / Re: Switcheo Exchange on: May 06, 2018, 04:56:38 PM
a number of coins have been delisted.

Delisted? Really?
Unless that is a typo, and ya'll above me aren't bots, I do not think I have seen any brand new exchange delisting any coins but okay if you say so..
Could you provide some backlinks to check the news about these delistings?
1771  Local / India / Re: Project Atlantis - A new nation for Bitcoin and other digital currencies on: May 06, 2018, 04:54:27 PM
There are other concepts like this you know.. the idea of forming a micronation and then hoping that nation becomes a haven for a radical new tech is not new.

Asgardia, Wirtland, etc etc already exist and they've all been down that road, what makes you think this "Project Atlantis" will gain any traction if those that have come before it have already failed? They even do not have a legal existence.
1772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is IDEX exchange legit? on: May 06, 2018, 04:34:14 PM
Its a decentralized exchange and it's pretty legit as in I haven't seen any major complains about it yet, other than the usual nitpicks. You have to understand they're pretty new to the game. I haven't used it thoroughly though, regardless do not store any coins in any exchange no matter how legit they seem.
1773  Local / India / Re: Bitcoin Price Could Hit $25,000 This Year on: May 06, 2018, 03:24:53 PM
Does it even matter what price it reaches? It matters how much it gets adopted and by the looks of it with the RBI's ban and the inability of the crypto exchanges to function normally, it stands to reason that the adoption of crypto will decline this year or at the least the transactions will move underground.
1774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How close did they get to Blockchain before it was 'invented'? on: May 06, 2018, 02:48:50 AM
Quite surprised that no one has anything to say about this..
1775  Other / Meta / Re: This user posts always copy-paste ✔ Plagiarism article ✔ 10 Proof inside on: May 05, 2018, 05:34:57 PM
Question: Should this thread be here or in Scam Accusations?
I mean I know its more closely related to spam but still.. Meta doesn't seem like the right place to do it.
1776  Other / Meta / Re: Share your thoughts : sMerit Review, Rank-Up Challenge, Signatureless Campaign on: May 05, 2018, 05:32:41 PM
Sorry to interrupt whales here Grin
I think this kind of thread should be bring up even more as it's encourage good quality posts. We just need some kind of place (maybe child-board), so instead of newbies here lost in bounties campaign. It will be better if they (include me) participate in rank-up/signature-less campaign. Personally i wanna join these signature-less campaign, but too bad i have to finish previous campaign first.

If it were upto me, I wouldn't accept you in any campaign.
1777  Other / Meta / Re: Chatbox here in forum on: May 05, 2018, 05:24:59 PM
Why not replace a Personal Messages with a some kind of chat? The one with any kind of notifications (preferably also with sound). Chatting with someone could be really painfull here so asking someone for telegram sometimes is the only way to communicate efficiently.

Well because technically that would mean the entire site would need to ditch the SMF engine and work on something that is custom built. Maybe a Flarum engine idk. Which means a lot of time and effort going into 'reinventing the wheel'. Which to me sounds like a complete waste.

But yes, I do think an additional chat system where only people with high merit could speak would be a good idea. I mean if the merit system works, then people with merit aren't those that spam anyway.

This idea is even worse. Do not replace Personal Messages. This is a forum dude, not a social media website. You're here to discuss about things not to spread memes all across.

What is a social media platform?
A place that lets you connect with people you like.
A place that lets you share ideas, discuss, debate about something of common interest.
A place that lets people collaborate to create something new.
A place that lets you troll around and shit post memes.

What does this forum do?

A place that lets you connect with people you like. - Like connecting with peeps here about Bitcoin?
A place that lets you share ideas, discuss, debate about something of common interest. - Like new projects related to Blockchain and altcoins?
A place that lets people collaborate to create something new. - Again.. altcoins?? New sites ?? New services ?? In some cases ... new national regulations??
A place that lets you troll around and shit post memes. - Err.. Off topic board.

So on the contrary, you are socializing here, albeit and this forum is already a social media platform. So lets not live in denial.
1778  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ABCC Updates:QTUM and BCH now available on: May 05, 2018, 11:22:06 AM
... Please note that o Cool....

Was that a smiley or a typo?

Regardless, very interested in knowing more about your exchange and how it functions and plans to sustain itself despite not charging any commission. Or is that commission-free experience temporary for promotion purposes?

Also, wouldn't it serve you better if you kept all the updates under a single thread? (Just a suggestion)
1779  Other / Meta / Re: Share your thoughts : sMerit Review, Rank-Up Challenge, Signatureless Campaign on: May 04, 2018, 06:10:11 PM
Theymos suggested that there could be some kind of monetary payment involved with merits, maybe then merits can be seen as a valid form of payment within the forum. And maybe then they could belong in the service section.
I agree with Hilarious, since there is no payment involved, it does not belong in the service section.

However, on the other hand, it is a chore of a thing to do and you're doing it for free - albeit receiving some merits by other users for your effort. In that instance, it is a service to the community that you're doing for free. I'd much rather see a mod / admin do this instead of any non-staff member of the forum.

Lastly, about meta, nah, I don't think it belongs here because this is a place to discuss, request and report features or issues. Your service may improve posting behaviour but neither are you discussing an issue, nor requesting a feature or reporting a bug.

I'd say even complaining about posting behaviour would fit in meta but not merit reward challenges.
1780  Other / Meta / Re: Chatbox here in forum on: May 04, 2018, 05:49:41 PM
Oh hell no.

Have you ever been on a chatbox when mods weren't around? YoBit? C-Cex? Poloniex? FaucetGame?

It's filled with nothing but trolls and spam.

Who would be responsible for moderating the chatbox? While in theory, this would be a pretty dope feature, it would be abused immensely by shitposters spamming their ref links and airdrops.

An alternative may be to allow a chatbox only for Legendary members?

Or like I said..

Well, maybe a chatbox that only allowes the Heroes / legendaries and Full members to chat. MAYBE then it'd work. Or maybe there could be a Merit gate as in you require at least XX amounts of merit to be able to use the chat box. The Merit system is already weeding out the spammers that way the forum would get it's very own dedicated troll box.
I miss a proper troll box ever since btc-e went down.
