1781  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Maybe this is the way these ponzis are lasting on: April 07, 2016, 11:42:52 PM
It's pretty much the same idea as gambling. People have made profit of ponzis before, and think they can do it again. And they get scammed. Simple. It's greed.
1782  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is a signature campaign ans how it works? on: April 07, 2016, 11:41:02 PM
It is basically advertising. People value members with good opinions, and their signatures are what people look at. If you could buy a trusted member's signature, you are buying some ad space and the member gets paid for it.
1783  Economy / Gambling / Re: Issue with Primedice on: April 07, 2016, 11:05:52 PM
How did you lose 950 BTC with a balance of 4 BTC?

Hey guys. Another week has passed and I still have no answer from PrimeDice. What would you recommend for me to do? I've a bit frustrated after almost 2 month of waiting, without even knowing that my case is being investigated.
I'm going to have to say that you might need to contact dooglus. He's the founder I think, he should be able to help you.
1784  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: what are your favourite signature campaigns? on: April 07, 2016, 10:31:22 PM
If anyone says Bitmixer, that campaign is (mostly) one of the spammiest shithouses I've ever seen. Just take a look at some of its participants, who obviously use Google translate to simply post in English.
1785  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟2016's Best Bitcoin Gambling Site Award!🌟 on: April 07, 2016, 10:24:06 PM
There's two main contenders for this award - Primedice and DirectBet. One is for dice, one is for sportsbook.

So now it comes down to which is better - Dice or Betting?
1786  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Invest in me, you may not regret it. on: April 07, 2016, 09:47:33 PM
Ponzis are "TooMainstream" for this guy. He asks for some bitcoin so he can gamble. He does this so he can make a profit without risking any losses. Only your loss.

Well played.

Not really that helpful, OP. Sad
1788  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: >>> SteadyTurtle.com - Bitcoin Web Hosting on: April 07, 2016, 09:33:08 PM
During the month of April All new orders will have unlimited bandwidth on all plans ( open support ticket after the order )

Cool! I'm going to purchase a plan then. My current provider is giving me tons of bullshit and I'm honestly fed up.

After my current plan ends, I'll join the steadyturtle family Smiley
1789  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Btcnpay.com Pay on any online shop with bitcoin! We are hiring! on: April 06, 2016, 10:35:18 PM
Dear bitcoin users,

please be careful with spending your money on btcnpay.

The website btcnpay.com seems to be a cheap copy cat of our established All4btc business. I would consider them as scam.
There's no easy way to identify the owners of Btcnpay.com, because they have no data associated with the domain. Ask yourself whether you trust them, there is no proof of a reliable service.

About All4btc.com:

As wosch76 mentioned, All4btc.com exists since early 2013. Our company is based in Berlin, Germany and we are team of bitcoin entrepreneurs.

All4btc.com makes it possible to order anything (from Amazon and eBay) while paying with bitcoin. We served thousands of customers and fulfilled a transaction volume of a few millions Euros every year. All4btc provides order confirmations, shipment tracking, premium customer support, order invoices and a 100 % money-back-guarantee with refunds. Please check out our How it works" page at About.all4btc.com if you consider shopping online with bitcoin. We order products within 12-24 hours every business day.

Please check out our independent review collection at https://www.trustpilot.com/review/all4btc.com. We got an excellent recommendation status of 9.3/10 points from 31 independent reviews.

Kind regards,
The All4btc Team
Bump!
Did you miss this Monnt?
be careful
btcnpay.com is probably scam

I have eyes, do I not? (That was rhetorical you smart-arses)

I'm giving them a chance to prove theyre legit. Because as you yourself said - probably.

Because if they aren't scam, they have much lower fees than most other proxies.
1790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you switch to a new technology, if it offers better features than Bitcoin? on: April 06, 2016, 09:49:40 PM
Hehehehe ima switch to lisk lel

I thought that ETH would be good, because the coin itself actually had a use. That's what bitcoin lacks in comparison for gold. Gold can be used for decoration, not just an asset. Even diamonds have an industrial use. Bitcoin? Well... The best you could do is stake it (not going to happen)

You can actually use ETH tho Smiley
1791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS BETTER THAN WESTERN UNION ? on: April 06, 2016, 09:46:51 PM
WU is history

Use bitcoins to enjoy much more benefits with lowest transaction costs, the day I have started to use bitcoin I haven't entered the doorstep of WU.

*Looks at Western Union*
*Looks at Bitcoin*

20 years later...

Bitcoin is $2000 apiece, and TX fees are 0.002 after so many halvings.

 Cool Still cheaper then WU.
1792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's Birthday is 5th April on: April 06, 2016, 09:41:54 PM
Belated happy day for satoshi and i think satoshi is not a one person and i think its a group. we dont know what is the real information about satoshi and they are many questionable for their group.. they are true anonymous..

Maybe Satoshi was a team. Maybe they were all coding prodigies born on April 5, 1975 Cheesy

We will never know. Maybe all the current mods were Satoshi and decided that 10 people on the Satoshi bitcointalk account at once simply want sustainable Smiley
1793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Silk Road Founder Ross Ulbricht Sentenced to Life in Prison on: April 06, 2016, 09:36:41 PM
This is very unfair and I think the BTC world just lost one of our own here.

I think the stronger message is that bitcoin was able to survive without all the darkweb transactions. And that's positive.

darkweb sustains Bitcoin as it is Smiley

dark market +darkweb = +90% from Bitcoin.

you will say that someone may use BTC for trading. I rather trade gold which is a regulated market and the earnings are much higher(losses the same) than shit Bitcoin Smiley)

Bitcoin is mainly use for illegal things as ponzi schemes, illegal forex, drugs, credit card frauds, fake IDs and so on.

yea a lot bitcoin people use bitcoin for a illegal payment before because anonymity yup
but now btc already really popular Cheesy

With no doubt people still are using bitcoin for anonymous illegal activities. Maybe not as much as they used to, now that bitcoin has recieved alot of attention. They've probably moved to bytecoin or something even more anonymous.
1794  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [Is this okay?] Post Scheduler on: April 06, 2016, 09:31:34 PM
I think this application would be fine. Just run it through Theymos or a mod, just in case.

However I do think this thread belongs in Meta, as it is asking whether a service would be against forum rules, not an announcement of a service.
1795  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Btcnpay.com Pay on any online shop with bitcoin! We are hiring! on: April 06, 2016, 11:56:13 AM
Thank you jacktheking for pointing it out.

I'm raising it to 30 Euro (or 30 USD) since no one left a comment.

I can vouch for your service. Just to clarify, I give you a link to a product, and you buy that product off eBay/Amazon, when I recieve it, I will review your service, and you will send me $30?

I don't have to spend anything? If so, id like to test out your service.
1796  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopay Bitcoin Debit card + Giveaway on: April 06, 2016, 11:51:19 AM
The problem is... You guys don't provide services for Australian Dollar! So I guess I'll have to pay the 2.5% fee every single transaction I make in this country... I better stick to online transactions.

I've recieved the code, and used it straight away. My card went into processing, and I thought it would take a day or two for someone to manually confirm it or something. Guess I was wrong. My card was active within a minute.

Also, I've deposited into my debit card. Is there any way to spend using it/find the number/VCC before I recieve the card in the mail?

Also, do you guys have a fail-safe, so if I lose my card, how can I get my money out of the card/freeze it?
1797  Other / Archival / Re: ▶ Sell us your FACEBOOK account! (we pay between $50 to $200) on: April 06, 2016, 05:42:05 AM
I have an account made in January of 2011. Please PM me how much you will pay for it.

However we must follow the local forum rule of no escrow, no deal.

If anyone asks, this is the image sent me. It looks really nice!

The site's down for me. Something about DNS. Is anyone experiencing this problem?  Do I need to restart my router?

Isn't DNS a server-side thing?
1800  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoinminersuk.com: is this legit on: April 05, 2016, 11:59:23 PM
It's a scam. So are most  cloud mining sites. They are usually either unprofitable (like Genesis mining) or ponzi scams, like (cloudminr.io, cloud mining.website, etc.)
