181  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 🗺️ Roobet.com | Rally 4 Roo Tuesday Treasure Hunt 🗺️ on: August 12, 2020, 06:22:30 PM
I don't understand from where you interpreted that there are 3 codes, as far as I know finding one code is enough.. But this treasure hunt has long ended now and the winners have been announced in their Telegram Channel.

Here, here.

Once you have found three codes

I do not know that only 1 code is needed. LOL, I keep searching for another 1 because I only got 2. I keep searching and learned about data encryption and decryption on images.
No regrets, at least I had something new in me because of my misinterpretation. Cheesy

Well looks like I missed the fine print 😅 I too am not sure if we have to find only one code or 3 codes. But the form asks for only one though. Anyways the Tuesday hunt is already over and there is no point discussing about it. But you can use the codes to increase your entries for Rally 4 Roo giveaway
182  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 🗺️ Roobet.com | Rally 4 Roo Tuesday Treasure Hunt 🗺️ on: August 12, 2020, 04:07:12 PM
Sir @Hhampuz, does this mean that all 3 codes that we have to find is embedded only to a single photo? Or can we get those three codes separately? (Ex. 1 from bitcointalk and 2 from telegram) .
Is this valid for a chance to win?

Bringing this up because I can't really find the 3rd one.  Grin

Also, start sending your entry fees too, I have update the OP with payment information.

By the way, since we will have a good pot (assuming one of the sponsor deal is final) how about we have some consolations prizes for the rounds? I am thinking to have something for the highest points earners from rounds. End of the season we will have top 3 point earning rounds and those round winners will have some prizes to in addition to the main prize. Of course in this case we will need a percentage cut down from the top three on the table.

So say for example, if we have x amount for each top round winner then Main prize pot will have:

Main prize pot = Prize pot - 3x - tx fees.

Those who will not make it to the top 3 in the leader board, they will always have chance to win something from a good round.

This is actually a good idea to pick winners for every round and give them a few % of the pool considering the pool is big. Let's go on with it. I have also shared the details of the thread in our Indian Bitcointalk Telegram community and few of them showed some interest. So, I hope we'll see some more entries soon and will get past 10 member mark.

188  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Win any BlackJack Hand | Strategy Calculator on: August 09, 2020, 07:03:07 PM
I randomly tried out the calculator provided by the OP. If anyone is wondering whether this calculator provides something new to increase your chances of winning at the game, NO, it doesn't. It just a script version which is more or less similar to the following strategy which has been widely shared online for years.

Eventhough you can minimise your losses, you cant win in blackjack, just by blindly following the strategy provided. The only way you can try to beat the house is by having a good betting strategy and by counting the cards.

List updated for akhjob and eaLiTy.

@UmerIdrees, you ask too many questions :-P
1st - 40% of prize pool
2nd - 30% of prize pool
3rd - 20% of prize pool
4th wins 10% of prize pool
How about 3 winners this time? 4th winning spot seems bit too much to me.  Tongue

1st - 50% of prize pool
2nd - 30% of prize pool
3rd - 20% of prize pool

Yeah having 3 winners is more reasonable, because if we have less than 10 members joining the pool then the prize amount of 10% for 4th winner will be less than the entry fee  Tongue We need 20+ members to join the pool to give atleast a 2x the entry fee for the 4th place.
So, let's go for 3 winners.
190  Other / Meta / Opening Mutiple Ann Threads - Allowed? on: August 09, 2020, 05:09:16 PM
User Profile: GOLD Cash

The said user created an ANN thread for his Project on June 16 in the Altcoin Announcement Section "Gold Cash(GOLD)| A Rare Cryptocurrency (POW) Long Term Scarcity Investors Coin" which is not even shown in the first 10 pages. 2 days back he posted the same ANN Thread with another title "What is Gold Cash?" which can found on the 6th page. This shows that the new bump system is worked as it is meant to be.

Today, inorder to bypass the bump system, he posts a topic in the Altcoin Discussion where the bump system is absent and diverts it to his ANN thread without any value addition. And the said topic is displayed on the front page. Is this kind of activity allowed?

So I just want to know
- Whether one can open duplicate/multiple ANN threads for the same Projects?
- Should we extent the bump system to Altcoin Dicussion board?
191  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I can't withdraw my tips on reddit on: August 09, 2020, 01:30:26 PM
I "fixed" the problem but not on reddit. I managed to send a transaction paying only 1 sat as a fee.
If you give me your lighting address I can send you one too to try again. I used the phoenix wallet. Amazing.
You want to tip him on Reddit, but not able to do so? If so make sure you have balance in the bot. If you don't have balance use !deposit <sats> to deposit and once you have balance reply to his comment with !lntip <sats>. You can't tip directly to the lightning address using the bot.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which GOLD backed coin/token do you think the best? on: August 08, 2020, 08:37:06 PM
There are a lot of Gold backed projects available in the market today. Almost all of them are centralized and most of them are dead projects. If you ask me, it's better to avoid them.
This article claims that 30 projects failed and 77 projects are existing.
193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a good bettor? on: August 08, 2020, 07:49:11 PM
Is it about knowing how to bet or what you're betting on, what do you think? And do you think betting something a person can become good at or is it that there's a low probability of there being people who bet successfully on a regular basis and these people just exist?
I would say knowing what you are betting on is the most important thing. But that doesn't make you good bettor, you should also know how to bet.  Only with the combined knowledge of knowing your bet and knowing how to bet, you can become a good bettor.

Money.

Skills doesn't matter if you're playing at a 50-50 basis.

I have read this multiple times and tried to understand what you mean, but didn't get it. Can you eloborate what is your thinking behind this ?

I believe he is mentioning about Hi-Lo, heads-or-tails types of games, where you literally don't need a skillset to place a bet even though you can devise a strategy on how to bet.

By the end of 1st innings, Pakistan is lead by 107 runs. If England manages to get Pakistanis out around 200, they'll have a target of 300-350 runs which is a chaseable score considering the English batting lineup. So, I believe that there is still a bit of chance for England to get back in to the game.

Only 77 runs needed for England to win the match and Butler-Woakes partnership looks strong. I knew that there is a chance for England to win  Smiley This is a thriller! I think, England will win this match too bad that I didn't bet on it yesterday  Undecided

Butler and Woakes completed their fifties Smiley
195  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sending BTC as a gift to someone who doesn't have a wallet on: August 07, 2020, 05:00:47 PM
Is this the best way to give sats to someone, or are there better ways to do that?

If you are thinking of physical BTC gifts, you should check the collectible section. You can go for loaded Denarium and Casascius coins, if your budget is high or you could gift him a Coldkey

I hope all those who agreed on having a fee for the IPL pool would join Smiley Summoning @RaptarX @teosanru @JohnBitCo for the approval. @deadley might also join.

199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some of the best Tether Crypto Casinos of 2020 on: August 06, 2020, 05:57:09 PM
Tether is a blockchain-based cryptocurrency whose cryptocoins in circulation are backed by an equivalent amount of traditional fiat currencies. Me personally, I love Tether (USDT) crypto casino games. In comparison to traditional fiat gambling, this is heaven!

I would personally suggest staying away from Tether (USDT) as it is not 100% backed as they claim. Its better to gamble with other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. And as Upgrade0 mentioned, some gambling platforms like Roobet have solved the volatility issues by converting your crypto deposits into fiat equivalent. So just rethink about using Tether for gambling.

Looks like this is a repeat of the England vs West Indies series. Even during that series, England was complacent in the first match and as a result of it they lost the match. Here, I would rather congratulate the Pakistani pacers, who backed up the work done by their batsmen in an excellent way. Anyway, still it is too early to predict the outcome of this match.
I am pretty sure that Pakistan will win this one by a decent margin unless rain interferes which could end the match in a draw which I hope doesn't happen since Pakistan deserves the win here.

Root is hanging on currently, but his recent form makes me feel that he won't stay for long out in the middle. They got the big fish(Stokes) very quickly which is the turning point.

Now ENG is 70/4, Root gone.
But I am not very sure that Pakistan is going to win this match with a big margin, maybe a close fight but not by a big margin. ENG can comeback well in their second innings. If you see that Pakistani 1st innings, you can find that only 3 (Masood, Babar and Shadab) performed and all others lost their wickets for a single-digit score. But the first innings will undoubtedly provide the Paks a good lead of 150+ runs, so the chance for Pak winning this match is bright though.
