Watching my childhood stars play was really something Smiley And INDL winning both the matches makes me even more happy. If it wasnt for Irfan and Kaif, IND would have lost to SL yesterday. Sachin, Shewag and Yuvi getting out for few runs was a bit disappointing. But enjoyed the match anyhow. I think that SL team has better players compared to the other teams
662  Local / India / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Core 0.19.1 is now available in TAMIL [Soon in Hindi and Telugu] on: March 11, 2020, 04:42:09 AM
Wow, superb effort. I know how translating via transifex can be a pain in the ass because sometimes you can't clearly identify the context of the text. Completing the Tamil translation singlehandedly via transifex is really praiseworthy effort. Thanks on behalf of the Tamil community.

Thanks to akhjob for motivating and helping me in translating the application in Tamil
Dude, I don't deserve the credit. I promised that I would help with the translation but I couldn't be of any help. Sorry about that.
But if you think that I motivated you somehow, I am really happy  Smiley Thanks.

Nice try  Smiley Actually, I am happy that someone took time to go through all my 600 posts  Grin

Plagiarised content:
It’s been a while since I last posted in this forum, so I thought of writing something useful to the community about the latest "Libra" Project as there is not much information in the ANN. In this post, I’ll be sharing my views, information from several sources that I have read and points from the Libra Whitepaper and Website.
If you had read the first few lines, you could have understood that 29% plagiarized content are the points from Libra Whitepaper and Website.

Promoting a shitty Indian exchange with his referral links:
-edited out -
Keeps promoting that shitty Indian exchange with his fake reviews because I've been scammed by that exchange myself & couldn't believe he's promoting it in bitocintalk:
-edited out-
You almost caught me there with the messed up quote dates and where the fuck are the referral links. Those reviews were in 2017. I still don't believe that Koinex scammed you. If you were scammed why not open a scam accusation with valid proofs with your main account rather than hiding behind an alt.

Spreading Referral links " again ", but members warned him:
That's just mosprognoz pissed off because I pointed out his dumb puzzle  Grin

You can say that  Undecided Atleast I got better after June 2019
664  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos and April fools, 2020 preempt on: March 10, 2020, 02:50:56 AM
What about bitcointalk to become bitcoinsvtalk due to the financial reasons, as bsv pumps were just made for CSW to gather the funds big enough to buy the forum with all its users and unlock Satoshis account?  Grin Grin Grin
Nobody in the right mind would do that even as a joke
665  Economy / Reputation / Re: Just some Busting on: March 07, 2020, 06:11:10 PM
Damn, I still can't understand how these both accounts end up being in the same Signature campaigns. 1st they were in Best Exchange, now it's Freebitcoin managed by Hhampuz.
666  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the right time to invest in Stellar (XLM) in short term? on: March 06, 2020, 06:24:54 PM
Right now, XLM is very cheap considering the ATH. You can accumulate some if you are in it for long-term. But in short-term, the charts are not that interesting to make an investment in the coin. Once Bitcoin settles, almost the coin gets pumped.
667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: March 06, 2020, 06:05:43 PM
Even if you follow all the points and chose a good project managed by a good campaign manager there is still no guarantee that the project is going to excel when it gets listed in an exchange. But atleast they can avoid promoting a spam/scam project for nothing.

But you know what, most shitty bounty hunters don't even have the patience to read your post or mine or even research about the project they are promoting. They are just more focused on liking/sharing tweets/FB posts etc and posting their work details in the bounty threads.

And btw, as JSRAW pointed out there is only 3 weeks left for IPL, so let's decide entry fee guys.
There's no fee in PSL and no one other than Royse777 have sent any amount in the pool although I have promised to send an amount which I will say of course.
In IPL, there must be an entry fee which is flexible for everyone. May be 0.001 BTC is good for me which other may not. It would be good if Royse creates a poll to decide the entry fee.
We don't have a poll, but we already have a thread regarding IPL and the possibility of having an entry fee posted by Royse777. Make sure you post in the thread, that you are comfortable with 0.001 BTC. I think after a few more days, we can finalise on the entry fees.
Regarding PSL some of us including me weren't ready to have an entry fee, as we don't know most of the players playing in the PSL. Tbh, I still haven't watched a single PSL match and I'm betting on random team names Tongue

Forgot to update: WI won the match against SL in style. Just enjoyed Russell's hard-hitting.
669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 06, 2020, 02:44:07 PM
Anybody watching WI Vs SL match? Currently, SL are 96/5 in 14 overs. The runrate is good but WI are not allowing them to build a solid partnership. WI are picking wickets at regular intervals and I believe that they are going to wind up SL around 150 runs. I don't expect much from the Srilankan side.

670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India: Timeline on Crypto's fight against RBI crypto ban on: March 06, 2020, 11:19:27 AM
OP, Nice timeline.

But looks like the fight is not over yet and the Reserve Bank of India is planning to file a review petition on the Supreme Court's ruling.

671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stack Sats Calculator - How much bitcoin you would have if you keep saving sats! on: March 06, 2020, 10:10:13 AM
it is a fun tool as long as these stats are not taken as literal, meaning you can't really buy $2 bitcoin per day. in reality you'll have to put the money somewhere (like in a drawer or something) until it is accumulated enough to reach a higher amount and then use it to buy bitcoin.
there is also the obvious issue with accumulating dust and ending up having to pay a huge fee to spend all those transaction outputs if someone were to really stack small amounts of bitcoin in their wallets.

in any case i like the idea of setting aside some money to buy bitcoin specially in the linked article at the bottom the section about "Cutting unncessary expenses". that is what i have always suggested others to do.

And why can't you buy $2 per day exactly?

I believe What he/she is trying to say is that you cant buy 2$ worth BTC everyday unless you trust a centralised exchange to hold the funds for you until the funds become substantial enough to be withdrawn to your Wallet.
Else if you don't want to trust an exchange, you'll have to find someone who is willing to send you few satoshis worth ~2$ (because of txn fee) to your wallet. If this is the case, you'll have to pay a huge fee to consolidate your funds because of the large number of UTXOs.
672  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halving, who's closest with actual Nrs TAKE A CHANCE on the LIST !!! on: March 06, 2020, 08:24:53 AM
^ I can give you a reason why the price will go up after halving. The Big Miners are the ones that are going to be affected by the halving, halving cuts their revenue generated.  Small miners might give up, but the big ones wouldn’t sell their coins for a loss so eventually, the prices would pump. Moreover, the only way for acquiring Bitcoin is through Mining or purchasing. Miners won't sell their coins for a loss, Hodlers are holding, new coin generation is cut by half, So when the supply is limited and the demand is higher, the price is due for a Pump.
The pump after 2012 halving was ignited because many weren't aware of the halving and FOMOed in. The pump after 2016 halving was because of the rise of ICOs. In 2020, almost everyone in the Globe has heard of Bitcoin and almost everyone in Crypto is aware of the halving event and are prepared. But the thing is Crypto is getting legalised left and right by the Governments, so it is the right time for the no coiners and huge financial institutions to join the party. So just chill, the price of Bitcoin eventually rise parabolically.

673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 05, 2020, 12:06:34 PM
Honestly I didn't expect SA to take 2-0 lead and winning the series. I didn't watch the match, but was only checking the scores. So when I saw that AUS were losing wickets at regular intervals and posted a score of 271 runs, I thought a good opening start is needed for SA to win the match. But then de Kock got out in the first over and Malan/Smuts were scoring at 3 runs per over. But they went on to build a beautiful partnership resulting in the win. It looks like the partnership was built up slowly and nicely, if they can build such a partnership in ODIs when can't they manage to do the same in Tests. I know it's a different ball game. But still why can't they be a bit more resilient in Tests.
674  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Offline Machine for Cold Storage - Update Question on: March 05, 2020, 11:24:33 AM
if i were you i would never let my cold storage connect to the internet even in its initial step (installation). instead i would do everything offline:
- download a Linux OS such as Ubuntu
- verify its signature
- burn it on a DVD (or if your laptop doesn't have DVD put it on a USB disk and boot it that way)
- also download Electrum and verify its signature
- boot the DVD and install it on your laptop
- add log in password, disable network, encrypt folders you need,...
- install Electrum, add a strong password, write down the seed on a piece of paper and store it in a secure place
- send a small amount to that wallet to test this setup.
- spend that small amount to test if you can spend using an offline setup
- finish!
Understood everything said above except for the bolded part. How can you send without being online? When my Electrum is offline and I try to make a transaction, it doesn't get broadcasted until it's online.
675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Here we go again on: March 05, 2020, 11:00:35 AM
Guys don't get hyped by the title "India lifts ban on Cryptocurrencies". Infact there was never a ban on Cryptocurrencies in India, only the Reserve Bank of India directed the entities under their control not to offer their services to individuals and businesses dealing with Virtual Currencies in Q2 of 2018. Now the Supreme Court has ruled it out that it's unconstitutional. Trading was done through P2P until now. However, this is still a good news and I don't expect a huge impact on the prices except for few Pumps.
676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WazirX coin over the moon. on: March 05, 2020, 09:23:48 AM
WazirX coin is yet another exchange token with nothing special except for the fact that WazirX was acquired by Binance. Since all the tokens which are in someway connected to CZ gets pumped, you can expect the token to pump. But it's eventually going to get dumped.
677  Other / Meta / Re: Do you remember who sent you the first Merit? on: March 04, 2020, 01:22:07 PM
Ofcourse, I remember my first merit and everyone who gave me the rankup merit. My first merit was from eternalgloom. Gave me 3 merits for Libra - the Good, the Bad & the Ugly
My first merit send would be to LoyceV for answering my question regarding Vanitygen and promoting me to Member rank  Tongue
Heisenberg Hunter ranked me up to Full Member by meriting few of old posts on my Birthday.
JSRAW ranked me up to Sr.Member by meriting my post in PSL 2020 pool discussion.
I don't remember me ranking up anyone though  Undecided
678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra – The Good, The Bad & The Ugly on: March 04, 2020, 11:15:35 AM
So Facebook has decided to please the regulators and has decided to back away from Libra for the time being and will support digital government currencies. This is getting worser and worser Roll Eyes

679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What could be the court's ruling on crypto banking BAN ? on: March 04, 2020, 05:28:08 AM
It's Official: Supreme Court of India has struck off Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) banking ban against Crypto. The Court held that RBI Circular dated 6th April 2018 is unconstitutional.

This is good news as we can see more liquidity and more exchanges popping into Indian market. But there is still a chance that the Govt may bring an ordinance to ban Crypto Cheesy Anyways it's good for now.
680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] Did Binance just help Justin Sun take over the Steem network? on: March 04, 2020, 04:26:05 AM
binance used customers' coins to vote which is not okay. they will undo it or already did, not sure. it looks all very much like a power struggle.
sure, justin sun bought the project so he can do what he wants with his purchase, but if his actions are destroying the whole idea, then i wonder what he intended to achieve in the first place?
Yeah, CZ announced that he had unvoted. Huobi has also removed their vote..
Everyone should understand that keeping your funds in an exchanges is like keeping your money in a Bank. All you are having is the numbers you can't do shit with these numbers. So, if you are not holding the keys for your coins, then it's not yours. Unless you are actively trading, don't keep your funds in an exchange.
