From what I see Pant is better than the others  Grin Young age, Left-handed, Good average, Good number of catches and stumpings etc. So let's move on  Tongue
This is old news and almost any Cricket fan is aware of these statistics. Pant is the best choice theoretically, but he is under-performing practically at the moment. As Ravi Shastri said, he will be given more opportunities, but he can't keep letting down his team every time.

A lot of pressure is on Pant currently, but if he can deliver under these conditions, he is the best suitable choice for the future. Also, KL Rahul needs to be given more opportunities too since he has high potential(Though he is not performing well these days).

Pant is just an year old in international test cricket. I don't follow domestic cricket, so I don't know much about it. Yeah he failed in some matches, I agree with that but that's true with other players too. Yes he falls for the legside ball, but don't you remember how many times sachin fell for the swings. He is still young have a lot of time to learn all we need to do now is give him some exposure to the international cricket, if he still fails after a year, we should give another young player maybe s samson or I kishan a chance.
1102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 24, 2019, 06:05:43 AM
The T20 series is over now... what's left is the ODI series and the three test matches. I don't think that the selectors will think about too much experimentation, either during the ODIs or for the tests. They should be fielding the full strength side.

Is there ODI matches in this series? I remember the South African tour to be 3 T20 and 3 Test series. I don't think there is an ODI match in between them. Or are referring to any other series.

Edit: Just checked. India don't have a ODI match until Dec 15 with West Indies. In between India has a Bangladesh tour which is also T20, test series.
1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 23, 2019, 07:05:18 PM
By the way why were you looking to buy the tickets for the stand which is near the Bangladesh team  Huh
Maybe you wanted to jump into their dressing room and offer your batting services in case your team was struggling in the final  Cheesy
Lolzz..i could not figure out a better reason.   Tongue

If you are fan of your national team, then you would want to be near them, so that you could see them close. Almost everyone, will want their national team to win every game they play.

But yeah wasting 6 hours a day just to get a ticket for the match is too bad  Sad They should have arranged for online booking.
1104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: September 23, 2019, 06:44:04 PM
Okay, since a debate has been going on regarding the better wicket-keeper after Dhoni, let me show some Test stats of Dhoni, D Karthik, W Saha, R Pant and KL Rahul(since mentioned), shall I?

From what I see Pant is better than the others  Grin Young age, Left-handed, Good average, Good number of catches and stumpings etc. So let's move on  Tongue

I can give dozens of examples, including Ankush Bains, Sanju Samson, Harvik Desai, Smit Patel, and KS Bharat. But among all of them, I would say that Ishan Kishan looks the most promising one.
Why I didn't add this bunch? Because I cant find their test stats  Undecided
1105  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT everyone? cryptoji.net agency cheating translators from the forum on: September 23, 2019, 05:44:54 PM
Considering that I was also planning to open scam accusation against Cryptoji, sorry for being late. I'll be short with my case.

I contacted @cryptoji based on this thread in Indian Marketplace (archived). While I contacted him I was directed to contact @ChiNgad0r for the translation details. @ChiNgad0r is the one who gave me the work details. I was told that payment will be after my work gets approved. I completed the Tamil translation of the EpicCash Whitepaper and submitted the work on 19th Aug 2019. Once I saw that my work was uploaded in the EpicCash official website, I contacted both @cryptoji and @ChiNgad0r regarding payments. But both were dodging the payments, thats when I came to know the Little Mouse was paid for his work. When I pressed the issue, Cryptoji agreed to pay me by Sunday (15 Sep 2019) and got my ETH address. Original agreement was that the payment will be in ETH, but he informed that he'll pay me in USDC considering the market volatility which I agreed to. But after that, there has been no reply from Cryptoji. Meanwhile, ChiNgad0r claimed that he is not aware of anything regarding the advance payments and only on 17 Sep 2019, he told me that the payment is scheduled in December. ChiNgad0r didn't care to tell me that the payment will be on Dec for every translator until then.

Important parts of chats:
Cryptoji

ChiNgad0r

BTW, I also tried to contact few other translators mentioned on cryptoji.net as their Chief translators, but none replied except erikalui. I wish they reply to this thread atleast.

To conclude, I believe that Cryptoji broke an agreement with the translators and ChiNgad0r(COO) also had a role in this scam accusation. If ChiNgad0r claims that he is also an innocent translator like us, let him prove by sharing the chats with his boss.

India lost their 5th wicket and quite in pressure now. I expect around 150 runs after the 20 overs.

Edit: And another gone. Caught behind. South Africa is cruising now.

Anyone bet on South Africa?
It's a good chance to cash out the bet :-P

Nah I don't bet on T20s games because it's nearly unpredictable 1 over can make a big difference in the game. I only do ODIs and Tests were the chances of winning the bet is better  Smiley

BTW, now I don't think they would reach 150 in the remaining 5 overs if Pandhya or Jadega lose their wicket. Is Washington sunder an all-rounder? I completely missed previous year so really don't know about him.

Quote from: Kohli
“I know it’s a chasing ground, that’s what teams do here in the IPL (Indian Premier League) too, but heading into the World Cup we want to strengthen areas and put ourselves under pressure”

India 92/5. Looks like the pressure is winning  Tongue
Now it's all in the hands of the Pandhyas and the tail enders.
Anyone bet on South Africa?
1110  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LocalBitcoins and Tier verification's on: September 22, 2019, 11:48:49 AM
And how do we know what is my trade volume ? I mean i sometimes uses local bitcoins to buy and sell btc and i do not have a proper business setup there where i buy for less and sell at high. So for people like me , tier 0 will be enough ?

Why wouldn't know your trade volume? Like Stompix mentioned, you can find your trade history in your dashboard. If you are rarely using it and if you are purchasing power is not high as others, then yeah Tier 0 will suffice.

this is actually 80 euros a month, close to the monthly bus pass...common

In his Federal Budget 2017-18 speech, the Federal Finance Minister announced the increase of minimum wage for private sector workers from PKR14,000 to PKR15,000 per month
I believe the OP is from Pakistan, where PKR 15,000 (~87 €) is the minimum wage for a month. So 80 €  is not the same for everyone, for some its a full months salary for others it might be a one-day expense.

Hello
I would be interested in joining in the Member rank but only for Tier A. Are there or will there be open positions from next week?

You don't check most of the prerequisites required for joining a signature campaign and you demand a Tier A spot? Lol
- Not an active poster outside your local board
- Almost no posts in the Gambling section

Anyway good luck

Wow, UID=30 banned for 30 days  Tongue

If you are wrongly banned, then some MODs can see into this and can help. But, just because you were banned for a few days, you don't have to say shit about the forum. Just because you were here since 2010, doesn't make you any different than the others.

I now consider "moving on to other things" ...

1113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 22, 2019, 01:04:34 AM
@RapTarX @Haunebu haha guys don't get mad at me. Neither am I comparing Pant and Dhoni nor am I trying to replace Dhoni with Pant atleast not not until he retires. But we have to face the fact that Dhoni is nearing his retirement and we have fill his spot. And I think Pant has better chances of filling the it if he isn't reckless
1114  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LocalBitcoins and Tier verification's on: September 21, 2019, 09:52:58 AM
As you know that local bitcoins is making it compulsory for thier users to get verified prior to October 1.
Details here : https://localbitcoins.com/blog/tier-verification-deadline-extended/

I want to know what is the minimum requirement to be able to buy / sell bitcoins from the site. If i am verified at Tier 0 only, do i still need to complete the tier 1 and tier 2 verification ?

Quote
After the 1st of October, accounts that exceed their Tier transaction and trade volume limits and have not yet provided verification for the following Tier will be suspended from trading until the compatible verification is completed.

So if you are trading over 1000 € per year and you are verified at Tier 0, your account will be suspended until you complete Tier 1 or Tier 2 verification based on your trade volume. If you are trading less then 1000 € per year, you don't need Tier 1 or 2, Tier 0 will suffice. Hope this answers your question.
1115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 21, 2019, 08:15:24 AM
The next T-20 between India and SA will be an electrifying one in my opinion since it is the final one. Kohli and Sharma are basically duking it out for the highest T-20 run scorer currently in the world and their performances will be viewed closely.

Yeah tomorrow's match is going to be spectacular, with the short boundaries it going to be raining sixes and  I believe Chinnasamy Stadium is where Rohit got his 1st double century.

Edit: Some T20 Stats

Pant is receiving tips from everyone(Dravid today) and the expectations from him keep growing.

Pant has some good batting potential in him. If he isn't so recklessly losing his wickets then he would be a better replacement for Dhoni
1116  Local / India / Re: [ANN] IndiaBits - The New Beginning to India's Crypto Community on: September 21, 2019, 05:22:57 AM
I have been part of the Indiabits telegram group for a while now. They really help members with their concerns. But the thing is I was not able to actively participate in most of the time because they switch between English and Hindi, which I don't know. So, now I stick only to their announcement channel. I understand that spreading the information in Hindi is a bit more useful as the majority of Indian population understands it but it not very helpful for other language users. For now, the Indiabits forum seems to be clean and tidy and all the information are in English. But once the forum grows, the forum will attract spams like any other forum and they should be actively removing such spams.

After I spoke with Gabru last week, they are totally against any sorts of trade or marketplace like stuff in the forum and they are feeling like it would certainly pave way for scams. This seems to be right from a forum's admin point of view and it totally differs from the way bitcointalk operates. Here scams aren't moderated and users should do their own diligent research before getting involved in anything which demands their money.
Yes, a marketplace paves way for some sort of scams but I think that it is a necessary evil. If we are looking for mass adoption in future, we have to be delivering services/products for cryptos. And yeah users who are 18+ should do their own diligent research before getting involved in such trades because they are not kids anymore and I am sure that other reputed users will guide them just like here.
1117  Other / Meta / Re: The future of Bitcointalk: Low Ranking Top Merit earners in the past 30 days on: September 19, 2019, 06:19:17 PM
Yes you can make it  Wink

Personally, I was still a newbie when the Merit system was implemented and i wasn't a regular poster until towards the end of 2018 and some parts of this year but i still managed to gather 307 Merits.

I believe if I had been a much more regular poster, The activity and Merits would be enough for me to be a hero member by now.

What i realized is that so long as you are a regular quality poster, who is willing to learn and help others here, merit will always come your way.

As you can see, I registered back in 2017 and I remember to be a Jr.Member when the merit system was introduced. And then back to a newbie because of 1 merit requirement. Back then, I only stuck to my local board (India) and bounty threads. I didn't bother to explore the other important sections just because I don't know the technical stuff. With all the shit I was doing in this forum, at a point, I completely ignored this forum and went to another forum (altcoinstalk something like that)  in the hopes of earning more shitcoins Tongue I wasted 2 years going after faucets, airdrops and shitty bounties (except MB8). That's when I realised that I have been doing shit and came back to the forum with the announcement of Libra and explored most of the forum. I searched for Libra related posts in the forum but didn't find a proper ANN Thread, so I read the Whitepaper and other articles and made a consolidated post as Libra – The Good, The Bad & The Ugly and got my first merit from eternalgloom and became a Jr.Member. LoyceV made me a Member by meriting a post regarding Vanitygen and I look forward to becoming a Full Member. These are some of the unforgettable moments. I also tried to get a review of my posts here to improve my posting quality but didn't get any reply. Maybe someone could review it and give feedback.

The thing is when I get merits, I get a feeling that I am being recognised by the community. So yeah I feel highly privileged that my name is mentioned in the OP.

Now browsing through bitcointalk has become my regular for 3-4 hrs daily, while I'm travelling to my work and back to home. I now explore almost all boards of the forum. Involved in active discussions. Joined my 1st signature campaign. And I am in love with this forum (especially WO guys, completely different breed bulls  Grin)

I take pride that I never spammed and was always on topic even while I was hunting airdrops and bounties  Cool

Sorry LoyceV for messing with your list

@Duzter @Juggy777 Ofcourse, Kohli is a great player for India who the team can rely on. But, I wouldn't say that India is too dependent on Kohli. Rohit and Dhawan are good openers for India in all formats if you ask me. Rohit takes some time to settle, but once he has settled, he goes big. But Dhawan has the tendency to make some mistakes, even when he looks flawless. These 2 are backed by Kohli. Even if these 3 fail, India has few all rounders who could finish the match for them.
In the previous match, Kohli scored 70+ runs yeah so what? Dhawan score 40 and got out because of superb catch from Miller. Doesn't that count? And yeah if Kohli had got out for a duck or a few runs, the game would have been more interesting but that doesn't mean that India would have lost the match. There were still all rounders like Iyer, Jadeja, Pandhyas to bat. If they had collapsed just like the Australian players did when Smith got out, then you could say that India is too much dependent on Kohli.
1119  Other / Meta / Re: The future of Bitcointalk: Low Ranking Top Merit earners in the past 30 days on: September 19, 2019, 01:13:02 PM

13. Member akhjob (Trust: +0 / =0 / -0) earned 20 Merit in 30 days (BPIP)

Wow. Its nice to see my name on the list  Smiley When the merit system was introduced in the forum, I thought that it was hard to get merits and that ranking up is not possible, but one thing I believe now is that anyone who is genuinely interested in the forum apart from the bounties can eventually rank up, it's just a matter of time.

^^
Proteas is set for 180-200 runs, Mohali wicket is good for batsmen and when its T-20 format then bowlers can only pray. I hate this Mohali stadium though due to -Low Lights set up - Miller lost all his charm and he's hit or miss case nowadays, i just want to see De Kock 100 Grin

Edit : And he's gone $*&%

Yeah looks like the pace of scoring decreased once de cock was out. And miller has gone too while typing Grin Now I see a target around 140-150. I think everything looks in favour of India

~skip~
Nazmul Hasan Papon (President, BCB) has decided to bat for Bangladesh Cricket Team after the failure from the batsman vs Afghan  Cheesy Hence, practicing  Grin

Lol. Even if he batted well who is gonna run between the wickets  Tongue Doubt he'll ask for a by-runner

Looks like BAN will win this match afterall

Edit: My 200th post
