Don't know much about the BCCI, ICC revenue share issues, so I'm am not going to comment on them.  But I am happy to see BCCI headed by Ganguly, hope he takes India further beyond.

While the Indian Squad for the upcoming Test series and T20 series with Bangladesh have been announced, there has been no announcement regarding the test squad from the BCB, Only the t20 squad has been announced. Does that mean the players strike which started a few days back, ended and that the tour will be played as planned?

There is a differnet between "after work approved" and 'after completion" , I think it is obivious for everyone , you did not asked for more details and we were very cautions in choosing our words,
-skip-

Yeah, you are cautious, for that, I give you credit.

We  will do half of the payment for all the new hired translators as a proof of our good seek in condition of denying every single scam claim against us , rest payment will be completed just after clearing things up ,

The rest translators will get their payment in december as the contract said. I am not sure is this is allowed in the forum regulations but I can't see other way to solve this (propositions are welcome)
-skip-
Since you are very cautious in choosing words, let's get more clarity on what you have proposed
Quote
We will do half of the payment for all the new hired translators
When is this exactly, this year? next year? or are you even planning to pay?
Quote
rest payment will be completed just after clearing things up
Clearing what? you mean clearing the mess in your room or the mess you had done to the translators by using cautious word selection.
Quote
The rest translators will get their payment in december as the contract said
So by December, you mean December 2019 or December 2100?

Why don't you cut your shitty excuses and start paying the translators to get the flag dropped. Btw, it was funny to see that Jatawneh has left you a positive feedback a few days back. I have pmed him to share his story here with payment details.
1023  Local / India / Re: Ideas and Thoughts for celebrating 10th Bitcointalk Anniversary in Indian board on: October 25, 2019, 05:11:45 PM
Like everyone said above, I have been thinking why there is not much activity or lack of interesting topics in the Indian sub-forum. While proposed bill recommending jail term for crypto users might be a reason for some to stay away from the Indian sub-forum, the main reason I believe it to be the usage of English language in this sub-forum. If you see other local boards, most topics would either be a translation of guide/announcement/resources posted in the Main boards or recreation of other English threads in their local language. That's what we lack here in this sub-forum.

Generally, there is not much localised topics available to discuss. For us we have the ongoing court case, crypto bill and some foreign countries trying to enter Indian crypto market. That's all there is.. This is the same with other countries too.

So, am I suggesting to post in Hindi or other local languages in the local board to improve active discussion? No, that's because of the diversity of languages in India. If we start posting in Hindi, you'll push the non-hindi speakers outside, the same goes with the other languages. I am sure most of the Indian forum members have good command over English and prefer to read original contents rather than translated ones. While this is not true in other local boards, where more than 50% of the members lack English knowledge. That's why the recreation of English threads in local language is necessary in those local sub-forums.

So, the only way I see to improve the activity here in the sub-forum is by attracting new members towards the forum, who might be having head full of questions. Once there is enough activity going the old users will automatically join in due time.  Creation of awareness to the fellow Indians who can/can't understand English is what that is necessary.  So, why don't we plan some awareness campaigns? Maybe we can't do it as an anniversary event. But that's what our ultimate goal is to be.

This is the reason we need a regulatory framework from the Governments at the earliest
1025  Local / India / Re: How do YOU convert your Bitcoins to INR ? on: October 24, 2019, 09:15:32 AM
Apart from the exchanges mentioned above (wazirx, giottus, local bitcoin/Ethereum, remitano), there is bitbns and coindcx. Personally, I have used bitbns, giottus and local bitcoin. Of the three, I prefer Giottus. If you looking for an exchange directly sending money to your exchange, then you can try Giottus. They also work using P2P model. Payments will be procesed within an hour.
1026  Other / Meta / Re: Add "Manager" link to signatures on: October 24, 2019, 08:05:30 AM
This can easily be solved with a user script, if enough people show interest, I'll write one.

1. We'll need a map from campaigns to their managers. Like this:

Code:
{Cryptotalk:"yahoo62278",chipmixer:"DarkStar_"}

2. Parse signatures to determine to which campaign they belong and get manager's id from the map

3. Add "contact manager" button that takes you right to PM'ing the manager

An user script is a good idea. I am not a tech guy but I have this doubt. Let's say all campaigns which are existing now are mapped and a userscript is created. What happens when  new campaigns come, Will you be updating the userscript with new mappings on a daily basis? Because a lot of altcoin campaigns pop-up on a daily basis. Just wondering.
1027  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT everyone? cryptoji.net agency cheating translators from the forum on: October 24, 2019, 05:11:02 AM
all the year with no signle problem , they are all members here in the forum and the can confirm that one by one .

The arabic translator who is also an EPIC moderator attended everything and he knows what happened with details , you can all reach him out for confirmations.

As you are the CEO of the translation, it would be better to hear it from you the real reason for the lack of communication with the translators once the work is completed rather than from another translator.

Now , we are ready to solve this problem even though the damage we got from this thread is higher than what it costs to solve it .We had limited resources since we work for unlisted tokens , we tried to reach all the project members we work with personally and they are ready to pay our translators  now in the condition of solving this problem and proving the opposite of this claim.
There wouldn't be a reputation thread, if you had just honestly answered  the private messages of the translators. The thread is result of ignoring and threatening the translators. Anyways, it's a good start that you have decided to pay the translators.

Sorry again, this is our first fault since more than a year .We learned a lot from it , We believe it wont repeat again . Sorry for everyone he put efforts and time trying to help or trying to analyse here in the comments , apologies
This was not the original agreement. Initially, I was told that the payment will be done on work approval in ETH by ChiNgad0r. So when I contacted you regarding the payments on finding my translation uploaded on the Epic Cash Website , you said that you'll be paying me and other translators in USDC on Sunday (15th September 2019). After which there has been no response from you until now. How long are you planning to feed fall hopes to your translators? Why don't you give an exact date by which we can receive the payment.

I can't speak on behalf of other translators but yeah I'm ok with receiving half of the payment before 31st October 2019 and the other half before 31st December 2019.

World Test Championship final still very far but India playing its cards right so far, next series is against Bangladesh (One Test) where Indians can fancy 120 points more and widen the gap more, unless Bengali tigers upset them which is unlikely but who knows what future holds.
-skip-
Looks like the Bangladesh tour is in doubt because the players are on strike and have decided to not take part in any cricketing activities unless the 11-point demand made to the cricket board is met. One of the main requests is the resignation of the current president and the secretary of the CWAB, and I don't think that'll be met soon.

Maybe Little Mouse could throw some light on the issue, but he has been inactive for a week.

Edit: I believe that a test series has a minimum of 2 test matches and I don't think 1 test match will be a series  Tongue

Its seems the World Test Championship is India Vs the Rest.

India:  240

Others total : 60 + 60 + 56 + 56 = 232

That's because only 4 test series (480 points) have completed as of now. Of which, India has completed 2 test series and won all the matches while others have played 2 test series with losses (SL vs NZ and ENG vs AUS). Once every team completes 6 series each, this will change Smiley But 240 points is a good lead.
1030  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Anyone Earned Bitcoin On Moon Bitcoin? on: October 22, 2019, 05:35:20 AM
What does Moon Bitcoin have to do with Gambling Huh From what I know is that Moon Bitcoin was one of the best faucets which I had used a few years back. And yeah they pay and I have earned some. It's better to move this topic to Micro earnings thread.
1031  Local / India / Re: When did you buy your first bitcoin? on: October 21, 2019, 03:20:39 PM
I didn't buy a single satosi yet but earned a lot since 2014.

Yeah, that's the benefit of being an early adopter. But had you invested some, you would be having more financial stability than you have now. Anyways good to see here and I'm just curious to know what brought you back to bitcointalk after 2 years  Smiley

I'm just happy that I didn't make the bet for a draw  Tongue

Initially, when I checked the score this afternoon, I was a happy to see the scorecard showing SA 15/2. I was thinking that rain washed away the morring sessions and was expecting that rain and bad weather would wipe out few more sessions resulting in a draw. That's when I saw the adjoining words "2nd innings".  Lips sealed

This is a terrible performance from South Africa.

https://www.t20worldcup.com/official-broadcasters/

Ok this is the best I could find regarding the telecast of the T20 world cup matches. Here you can find all the official broadcasters of ICC T20 world cup matches. You can find the broadcasters belonging to your specific region. Maybe they won't cover each and every qualifier matches. But you can see a few live matches through these broadcasters. Hope it helps  Smiley

LOL Well you are part of a signature campaign, I guess you will have to work hard for it to repay a friend. Or you can gamble again and hope for the best. You'd gonna have to give a believable story to your friend to give you a grace period. Hope you won't end up losing this valuable friendship, having a friend ready to loan $1600 is hard to find.
Suggesting to clear a gambling debt with more gambling! What is wrong with you? What if he loses again?
Don't judge me, I ain't judging you giving him a strategy on how to play. What I just told him is just an option to what he could do. But in the end I'm still concern how it would be for him and his friend to come to terms with this loan and I truly hope he can repay his friend. Believe it or not there is no way we can stop him from betting especially because he also stays in crypto where gambling is usual. It all depends to him so take a deep breath and relax.

Okay, I'm not judging you. Edited my previous post. But, I don't think that suggesting a Gambling addict to cover up the losses by gambling more is concerned advice.

@JSRAW, Just saw that you became a Hero Member. Congrats on becoming a hero  Smiley

Piedt was about to get his wicket of Rahane but the wicket keeper dropped the stumping chance.

After scoring the century Rahane was trying to increase the tempo and the South African wicket keep missed a stumping chance and i knew he will get out eventually and got cut cutting the spinner straight to the wicket keep a couple of overs later.  Grin

I am not expecting a draw but if South Africa can bat for a long time then it is possible, the pitch is favoring spin and there are foot marks for left handed batsman in the pitch and expect the bowl to spin square after pitching in that area and South Africa have some left handed batsman and that will be trouble for them.
~skipped few~

Yeah, thats true they did give a lot of free boundaries to Rahane and above all that missed stumping  Sad Missed yesterday's match but today he was directing the ball to all the corners of the stadium. I have never seen him so aggressive in a Test match. BTW, I am also not expecting a draw, if India manages a score above 500+ runs and take 1 or 2 SA wickets by today. But considering that there might be chances of rain interference today and tomorrow based on the weather forecast at Ranchi and probably a drizzle on the last day, I'll be tempted to hope for a draw and bet on it if SA didn't lose 2+ wickets before the first 30-40 overs Grin

Worst Day of My LIFE - Dice
OP, Looks like this loss is nothing to do with a bad day.  Looks like you did a lot of mistakes here. Have you heard of this Chinese proverb?

"If you must play, decide upon three things at the start: the rules of the game, the stakes, and the quitting time."

First of all, you shouldn't have borrowed money to Gamble. You should always gamble with what you have extra and afford to lose. Next, you shouldn't have used the Martingale strategy on Dice. That's a dumb decision to do. Martingale strategy on dice may give good returns in shorter format but in the long run, will end up in hefty loss. Third, you didn't know when to quit. You should have quited when you made 200$ or when you had a small loss. Forth, you let your emotions play. Never let your emotions to play while gambling.

Lastly, don't take target's advice, find a better way to pay back your friend.

I have checked this youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMITekGgsuKJtKnCuXjPT7w and it only shows the scoreboard of the matches and there is no live action on there. For scorecard only, it is better to watch the score on cricinfo and save the bandwidth.  By the way, I am still searching for a youtube channel which broadcast live matches.

Lol, Wtf. I thought they live-streamed the match video. I didn't care to check it because of the title. Btw, you have access to Star Sports in your region?

Update:  Rahane c Klaasen b George Linde 115(192)

Both Rohit and Rahane looked comfortable with the ball and have been scoring like crazy earlier today. I think they are execting rain interference in the match and looking for a big score as early as possible. Anybody expecting a draw?

I am looking to bet 5-10$ on a draw based on how it's going to end today.
1039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 20, 2019, 05:07:13 AM
Yes you are right mate the ICC has to give a live stream all matches or not broadcast on tv or youtube, now i am not going to bet on those matches because we can't predict what will be going to happen, the reason is fix matches we can't predict and it will be impacted for cricket and those players if they are doing match-fixings.
I found a Youtube Channel which has broadcasted t20 Worldcup Qualifier Matches, you can use them to watch if it's not broadcasted in TV (your locality).

-
Looks like you are interested in watching these matches, I have given a youtube channel link above you should check it maybe you can catch a match which is not broadcasted on Star Sports.

Edit: Reason in next post.

1040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 19, 2019, 05:35:59 PM

I was thinking about placing a bet, but then found out that the ICC had decided not to live stream the matches. And I never bet on matches which are not being broadcast on TV or YouTube.
That's not true. You can watch them on Hotstar and I believe they are telecasted on Star Sports Network if I am not wrong.

Anyone if still have the link of live streaming, please do let me know.

www.hotstar.com - But for watching in Hotstar, you'll need a subscription. So I would suggest you watch in Star Sports Network. And I'm sure that you can find other online sites like YouTube streaming live if you Google it
