Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / [Doubt] Pending Ethereum transaction
|
on: July 11, 2020, 05:26:44 PM

A few days back, a friend of mine made a transaction via Metamask with a lesser gas price. But the transaction didn't go through, so he made another transaction after checking ethgasstation with a higher fee. But that transaction also ended up as pending. When I checked the issue, I found that the transaction #14 was dropped. But the transaction #15 doesn't show up on etherscan. When I checked the wallet address, the funds are still available in the wallet. Currently, he is not in a hurry to move the funds, so what should I advise him to do? Should I ask him to leave it be as the transaction has been dropped?

@7788bitcoin, there is a good chance for you winning the bet if ENG plays through the day safely.
Before the start of the game i did not expect England would sideline their best bowler Stuart Broad who was the leading wicket taker in the past two series England played really well and won matches including the Ashes, i seriously do not understand their selection criteria, West Indies bowled really well and batted beautifully and even though i wanted England to win the match now i wanted West Indies to win the match as they played really well in the Test format after a very long time and England needs a loss to refocus things and pick the best team rather than undermining the opposition. So you don't want to win your bet Currently the lead is 89 runs and Crawley seems to have adapted to the WI bowling. So with 7 wickets in hand, if they don't make any stupid mistakes when the second new ball comes into play, they'll post a target around 250 for the West Indies. I missed yesterday's game but considering WI played good in the first innings, I think this is going to be a draw and a very small chance for WI to win. Edit: New ball taken. Let's see how this goes.

^Yeah, currently ENG is trail by only 35 runs. Both the openers were cautious about not losing their wickets and avoided unwanted shots while playing against the Windies bowlers and that helped them. If they continue the defensive stance for another session and try to put pressure on the Windies bowlers on the final session, maybe they'll get a chance to put more pressure on the WI batsmen on the final day. @7788bitcoin, there is a good chance for you winning the bet if ENG plays through the day safely.

What's your favorite crypto for gambling? Why did you choose it?
My favourite crypto for Gambling would be Bitcoin and the next would be Ethereum because I don't hold any other crypto apart from those two. Although I have traded and still trade other altcoins, I haven't really used them to gamble just because they are lesser transaction fees. I am the type of guy who does less than 1 transaction per month between my wallet and a gambling site so I really don't care about lesser transaction fees or how fast the transaction takes place. Do you think the decentralized gambling industry will grow now that crypto is becoming more popular due to COVID-19? Or is it still too early to tell? I haven't really tried gambling dapps as of now and I clearly don't know if they'll be as fast and fun as the centralised gambling sites. But in general, this pandemic has let the online gambling industry grow and I believe that there is not much exposure to gambling dapps so I think its too early to say.

So far so good for the Windies. Wrapped out England for 204 in 2 sessions and managing 57/1 without losing many wickets. Holder takes a six-er and living up to this reputation as the best all-rounder in Tests. As far as I see, we are getting a result out of this match even if we have weather interrupts This is going to be a thriller to watch not a bad match to watch after the long break

Going with England seems easy choice considering home advantage and 2 regular windies missing in the test squad due to personal reasons, would be good if you dig in and say Inning win or 100 +runs/ 8-9 wickets win. But again don't underestimate Windies bowlers and don't over estimate English batsmen. Raining.................. Whoosh There is no way West Indies could win the match but the only help they can get is if the rain keeps on interrupting the match and today just 17 overs were bowled and if that continues then we might see a draw and on the betting lines it is not a good option, i waged a bet for draw and the odds were over 7 which was really attractive to miss out. What Jsraw claimed is so true, we should never underestimate Windies bowlers. As far as weather is concerned, Google shows that we won't be having much rain interruption in the following days. Now that 4 wickets are down even before 1st session ends, there is a good chance that West Indies might get ENG all out by the end of the day and we might actually have a result But your bet on Draw is too good and is worth the risk. Edit: 5 wickets gone. Pope gone.

The problem is, I don't know where to enter the Server seed of my bet to get the result. Can someone please help Wut? AFAIK to verify your bets you can go to history -> https://roobet.com/?modal=history&tab=betsFor dice, there will be a "verify bet" button there, simply click it. I haven't placed a single bet in the crash game though (and the free money hasn't arrived yet ), so I just assume it will be the same for the crash game. <- kindly correct me if I'm wrong. Yeah, that works but it provides only the Bet ID and the result of the corresponding bet. So if I am planning to verify my last 100+ rolls, it would become tedious work. So, I am looking for help to run the code provided by the site which gives the last 100 bet ID and the results. Hope you understand.

I need a small help regarding verification of my bets in Crash. I checked the Fairness Page. It was mentioned as below- To verify this, you can input the Server Seed to your game in the code below, and you should see the server seeds and game results for the previous 100 games. const crypto = require("crypto");
const crashHash = ""; // Hash from bitcoin block #610546. Public seed event: https://twitter.com/Roobet/status/1211800855223123968 const salt = "0000000000000000000fa3b65e43e4240d71762a5bf397d5304b2596d116859c";
function saltHash(hash) { return crypto .createHmac("sha256", hash) .update(salt) .digest("hex"); }
function generateHash(seed) { return crypto .createHash("sha256") .update(seed) .digest("hex"); }
function divisible(hash, mod) { // We will read in 4 hex at a time, but the first chunk might be a bit smaller // So ABCDEFGHIJ should be chunked like AB CDEF GHIJ var val = 0;
var o = hash.length % 4; for (var i = o > 0 ? o - 4 : 0; i < hash.length; i += 4) { val = ((val << 16) + parseInt(hash.substring(i, i + 4), 16)) % mod; }
return val === 0; }
function crashPointFromHash(serverSeed) { const hash = crypto .createHmac("sha256", serverSeed) .update(salt) .digest("hex");
const hs = parseInt(100 / 4); if (divisible(hash, hs)) { return 1; }
const h = parseInt(hash.slice(0, 52 / 4), 16); const e = Math.pow(2, 52);
return Math.floor((100 * e - h) / (e - h)) / 100.0; }
function getPreviousGames() { const previousGames = []; let gameHash = generateHash(crashHash);
for (let i = 0; i < 100; i++) { const gameResult = crashPointFromHash(gameHash); previousGames.push({ gameHash, gameResult }); gameHash = generateHash(gameHash); }
return previousGames; }
function verifyCrash() { const gameResult = crashPointFromHash(crashHash); const previousHundredGames = getPreviousGames();
return { gameResult, previousHundredGames }; }
console.log(verifyCrash());
The problem is, I don't know where to enter the Server seed of my bet to get the result. Can someone please help
