1081  Local / India / Re: What's you view on the court case ongoing in Supreme Court-Positive or Negative? on: October 04, 2019, 01:41:10 PM

That is what expected from a country like India where criminal cases are stretched so long that the victim gives up being tired and losing all his money in the case for the prolonged period of time.

Though RBI have a chance that the Supreme court will favour the RBI ban on cryptocurrencies, you never know what might happen and the unexpected might become the reality.

I wouldn't say that the current Supreme Court case against the RBI ban is being prolonged for a long time. Yes there have been cases which were dragged for a long time without judgement unnecessarily and leaving the criminals off the hook. But in this case, I haven't seen any such anomalies. No unnecessary adjournments were given, and the judges are hearing out both parties without a predetermined mind set. From the current situation, I would say that the judgement would most probably be favouring crypto.

Quote

Now that bigger companies like Facebook and Telegram are into cryptocurrencies I think that the chances of India regulating cryptocurrencies and bringing their own coin is damn very high.

Just because some major companies are launching their own cryptocurrencies, I don't think India will start their own cryptocurrency atleast not until some developed countries launch their own cryptocurrency.

Elgar and de Kock had crossed 100 runs partnership and are in good form. India should try to get their wickets early. Since a follow-on cannot be imposed, the more the time SA stay, more the chances for a draw.

As of now there is no scam accusation on Cryptotalk. If they break the promise by not giving incentives for the posts made in their forum, then the DT members will start tagging the promoters for promoting scams. As of now, there is no scam regarding Cryptotalk.

OP, you could follow these tips to improve your posts
1. Be Short and Precise.
2. Be Relevant to the Topic.
3. Avoid Unnecessary Repetition.
4. Encourage feedback.
5. Don't overwrite.

You might think that this is off topic and possibly will report to moderator but I think it's more relevant to you. Normally I would skip your long ranting posts, but I had some free time today to go through your posts.

For giving out these tips, Am I a great writer? No. But I believe I'm not in anyone ignore list.

300 looking very much possible but Amir can ruin the party for Sri Lankans. not surprise if in the death overs Pakistan manage to restrict them close to 290-295 runs.

No doubt, Chase is going to be a interesting one. Chokers or Strong?

Man you should start your own tipster thread  Grin

SL 297/9. Amir did well to limit the run flow on one-side while Riaz was not able to do the same.  Superb batting from Shanaka, enjoyed every bit of it.  I hope they win this match.
1085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: October 02, 2019, 12:35:43 PM
Can you believe it? Sri Lanka cruising at 152/3 after 28.4 overs, and looks like they'll easily set up a 300+ total. After their top order collapse during the second match, no one really expected such a performance from Sri Lanka. Once again, the Pakistani spin department has failed. They included Iftikhar Ahmed in the place of Imad Wasim, but this time also the spinners couldn't do much against the Lankans. And Wahab Riaz also looks out of touch. The only bowler looks like troubling the batsmen is the hero from the first game, Usman Shinwari.

There is a real chance of upset by Sri Lanka. Remember that the odds were really good for them (5.50-6.00). Those who made the bet are going to rejoice today.  Grin

Like I said earlier, Pak failed miserably eventhough they won the 2nd ODI. If they were skillful they wouldn't have let Sri Lanka to get past 200 runs considering the earlier loss of wickets. They were just lucky to topple the Srilankan top order batsmen. That's why I suggested that it's better to bet on Sri Lanka on the 3rd ODI given the superb odds. Now the Srilankans are playing nicely, scoring at an average of 5 runs per over. Gunathilaka got past 100 and now SL is looking for a score around 270+ runs. And if SL were able to get a few earlier wickets, then the match is lost for Pakistan.
1086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 02, 2019, 08:44:26 AM
Well it's looking like a batting paradise. A big slap to the haters who said it was a bad idea for Rohit to open up in Test Matches. They both are playing pretty comfortably and even Keshav Maharaj isn't able to get anything out of this surface. Speaking of which reminds me of the fact that even Indians are going up with two spinner and two pacers if pitch doesn't proves to be helpful to spinner then maybe India is going to face some troubles while bowling too.

Nobody would question Rohit's mettle in a home series because he has better stats at home series than abroad series in tests.

As you can see the difference in the average is huge. So, the main question is whether he'll be able to improve himself in the away series as an opener.

Edit: IND 202/0
1087  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 02, 2019, 07:34:18 AM
Both Indian openers, M Agarwal and Rohit have completed their half centuries and are at ease now with the SA bowlers except for maybe Rabada and Philander who have been bowling brilliantly well with the new ball. So at this rate, I think India will manage 350+ runs by the end of the day if they didn’t lose quick wickets and with the likes of Kohli, Pujara and Rahane India might declare the 1st innings around 650 runs tomorrow
1088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: October 01, 2019, 01:34:08 PM
Pakistan might have won the match but I think they failed to impress everyone during yesterday's match. Sri Lanka on the other hand showed some fight with its newbies. If they hadn't lost the 5 initial wickets, I think they would have had a fighting chance of winning the match. So, I think betting on Sri Lanka on tomorrow's match is worth the risk  Grin

I was lucky today that I missed the Sing Vs Zim match  Grin Otherwise I would have lost my bet on Zim. These T20 matches are highly unpredictable  Undecided Zim would have won the match they needed only 16 runs from 12 balls with 6 wkts in hand and everything turned upside down in the last 2 overs

I watched the Nepal vs Singapore match, and it was pretty exciting. Nepal is one of the emerging powers and their captain (Paras Khadka) slammed a century that day. And their leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane is quite popular across the globe, in the T20 format. I don't know much about Vanuatu or Malaysia, and I haven't heard about any of their players.

Lol. I haven't even heard of the country Vanuatu, had to Google it  Tongue Anyways since you said it was exciting, I'll try to catch up today's Singapore-Zimbabwe match and maybe bet on Zimbabwe to win the match.
1093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 29, 2019, 07:21:10 AM
If anyone is interested in watching the Nepal vs Singapore T20 match, then the online live streaming has been made available by the Singapore Cricket Association (SCA) for free. It can be viewed in YouTube here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZGC8CrgHWM

BTW, now coming back to the T20 format, the match between Malaysia and Vanuatu is ongoing now (can be watched LIVE here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMBfVt7qK1c). Vanuatu is off to a very good start. This match is a part of the Vanuatu tour of Malaysia, which includes a total of 5 T20 matches.

Do you guys even watch these matches  Shocked I thought I was a cricket fan who always checked the scores when an international match is played. I have never watched such underdog matches. Are they even worth it to watch?
1094  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestions to Improve the India forum on: September 29, 2019, 06:25:27 AM
~
1. Please unpin all the pinned threads except for Welcome to Indians. Information in rest of the threads are mostly outdated.
2. Merge Mining (India) with main board, i.e. India. Last post on it is on July 31, 2019 and that sub is pretty inactive for long.
~
5. Merge Press & News from India with main board, i.e. India. Content has no distinct difference than the main board.
~
8. Off-Topic (India) does not serve any extra purpose over Off-topic. So, better merge it with that.

I agree that the Indian Board needs a moderator and also agree with parts of your suggestions mentioned above. However, I wouldn't want to see all the subboards be merged to the Main Board. I clearly don't want the Marketplace(India) and the Hindi translation bounty threads of Altcoin(India) mixed up with the Main Board.

Then the language of the Local Board should be local which means that the language of the Indian Local Board should be Hindi. But The Indian local board is running in english language. If the language is English in local board then why would people come to post on the local board? They get everything in English everywhere. So I think language of local boards should be local so that people feel free to post anything in own native language.

As Heisenberg mentioned India is a diverse country in terms of language and traditions and in order to connect with the entire nation, English will be the better option. Afterall English is an official language of India. I am a Tamil native, who doesn't know Hindi but can understand Tamil, Malayalam and English. If the Indian Main Board is in Hindi, I (& others like me) will be forced out of the Indian Board or restricted to only Regional Languages child board. And btw I believe that only very rare few Indian who are aware of crypto doesn't know English while many Southern Indians who are aware of crypto doesn't know Hindi.

And just by conversing in the local language, we cant increase the activity in the Indian Board. We can achieve that only through increased participants.

Very strange that the entire match got washed off. Rain was not predicted for today and what happened was really unexpected. I am not sure what will happen to the remaining matches. As per the weather agencies, there is hardly any chance for rain. But you never know whether they will be right or not. Feels bad for the Pakistani fans, who waited many years for an international match.

Yeah, you are right. We'll never know if we'll be able to watch the 2nd and the 3rd ODIs. Climate change has taken a toll on international cricket this year, almost all the series experienced rain interference.  And I believe September is post rainy season in Karachi but currently experiencing heavy thunderstorms. But let's hope that we'll be able to watch atleast some cricket on Monday.
1096  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT everyone? cryptoji.net agency cheating translators from the forum on: September 26, 2019, 01:15:01 PM
My case is different, I have used escrow, Darkstar before the deal.

The point is that if they wanted to scam from the start, they wouldn't even accept escrow but they did and fulfilled their commitment with one translator. They chose not to pay others with/without escrow.

Cyramji was online today and I bet he ignored your messages. He was clearly planning for an exit scam.

I believe that Epic Cash team were looking for several Asian languages for their whitepaper, so in order to close the deal he agreed to use escrow in the case of little mouse. He just invested 150$ to look credible, only to claim a larger sum from the Epic Cash team and leave other translators hanging.

Would like to ask is Crypto market correlated to Stock market ?
I'm not a trader rather a HODLER. Crypto market is not correlated to Stock market, it depends on the bitcoin movement.
Bitcoin Pump = Altcoin Dump
Bitcoin Dump = Altcoin Dump
Bitcoin Sideways = Altcoin Pump

And can we apply Stock investment strategy & technique  in Crypto market Huh
If your investment strategy is based on fundamental analysis, there is difference. If it's based technical analysis, there is not much difference. If its based on both, you would have to understand the fundamental part better.

Tip: If you are looking for long-term investment in BTC, results will be profits Grin for short-term market fluctuates.

Could have private keys engraved into the back or something. I don’t click on links posted in this forum though.

If that's the case, then it's complete shit and doesn't make any sense. Because if you lose it, then you lose your gold and your bitcoin.

Or maybe it serves as a collectible.

OP confesses that he the owner of the alt accounts banned because of plagiarism, that means OP is a plagiarist and this account (qwe7679172) should also be banned as per the rules. If 2 accounts are banned, shouldn't the 3rd account be banned too?
