This argument is stupid for a number of reasons, but as per Salty's request I will end it here. However:

First you complain about the deflection, then you continue it...
This can fuck off. If you make a snarky comment to try and make me look stupid, I will reply to it. Don't then try to call me out, and imply I'm a scammer for doing so.

Ridiculous that you would say USD is irrelevant. Even my forum salary is measured and taxed in USD.
Nice job ignoring the second part of my sentence that put it in context.
USD isn't irrelevant alone, however when being part of a programme based around another currency, it is.
If I open a savings account and put £100 in, I wouldn't measure the success of those savings in $. Due to exchange rates and the like, it would not give me an accurate representation of how well my savings account is performing (especially so if £ was up against the $).

The exact same thing applies with programmes like NastyFans. Seats are bought using Bitcoin, so then representing the programme's performance using USD is both inaccurate and dishonest.

I don't know about you TMAN but I measure my profits in the good old american dollar.

But my altcoins this week tanked in value against bitcoin, but actually rose in profit in terms of USD because of that USD growth I am able to buy some stuff
USD is irrelevant when the initial investment was done in Bitcoin.

Just like this conversation is irrelevant to this thread's matter.
184  Other / Meta / Re: Lauda removed from DT network via 3 exclusions on: February 15, 2018, 01:13:57 PM
Are you sure?
Is it still racist if it is likely provably correct?
185  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Lauda/TMAN/minifrij extortion attempt on: February 15, 2018, 09:57:16 AM
I also want to point out that I checked the archives and have confirmed that minifrij likes to blindly back lauda even when lauda is very clearly in the wrong.
I've been over this previously, and cannot be bothered to dig up the quote on mobile. I'm sure you can use aome of those detective skills to find it.

I'm also not sure why you're meming about nullius.
186  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Lauda/TMAN/minifrij extortion attempt on: February 15, 2018, 08:22:10 AM
Still the same people
Prove it.

Was this dude really on the DT ?
No, owlcatz was never on DT. I don't understand why people think they were.

Can't blazed rather encourage them to do productive things for the forum such as Finding Alt accounts, reporting spammers and or contributing in the 100 other constructive ways instead of taking the short-cut that is leaving a negative feedback.
Such as...

owlcatz, this is a great example of why I don't trust you.  It isn't about whose side someone is on, it's about what is best for Bitcoin.
Bitcointalk isn't Bitcoin. If Bitcointalk imploded, I can't imagine it would make most of a difference.
The majority of activity here is in the alts section anyway.

I do have evidence for what is being said in that thread. It is just not being publicly published.
And therefore, until you post it, your evidence is invalid (not to mention that is likely the case regardless). That whole thread reminds me of the Craig Wright scenario.
188  Other / Meta / Re: Lauda removed from DT network via 3 exclusions on: February 14, 2018, 08:46:55 PM
You saying something doesn't make it true.  If you didn't see him as DT2 at the time, it's because your trust list is messed up.  He was in fact DT2 at the time, and I did save your negative default rating at the time.
No, I don't believe he was. I don't remember BG4 ever being part of DT2.

I'm surprised you weren't banned to be honest.
That's just your slow learning when it comes to the forum talking.
189  Other / Meta / Re: Lauda removed from DT network via 3 exclusions on: February 14, 2018, 07:51:21 PM
if someone not trusting you anymore and excluding you from their trust list does not that mean their opinion for you is negative?
if so why none of them negged after kicked out?
Not trusting someone's ratings != thinking someone is untrustworthy.
190  Other / Meta / Re: Lauda removed from DT network via 3 exclusions on: February 14, 2018, 06:04:49 PM
I like your logic. The fact that TC excluded you is clearly evidence that OgN and myself are in cahoots. /s
You and TC were close around your escrow debarcle. TC has essentially copied Og's excludes. Og left you positive feedback very close to when this all went down. You've been a Nasty Fan for a while prior to this. All of the people excluded are people that have talked ill of Og or Nastyfans.

Of course none of this is proof, but there are a fair few coincidences.
191  Economy / Reputation / Re: Former Staff member Lauda has a pill addiction - *not disputed by lauda* on: February 14, 2018, 04:01:33 PM
Here is where you are wrong my friend. Lauda has not disputed what I am saying. In fact he made it clear he will not answer without more evidence.
Even without a literal denial, I think that Lauda has made their stance on it pretty clear.
That, along with your history with Lauda bringing down your point. Not that there was much of one to begin with.
192  Other / Meta / Re: Lauda removed from DT network via 3 exclusions on: February 14, 2018, 03:58:06 PM
Forget about DefaultTrust! Adopt the Merit System now!
These systems serve different purposes; one cannot properly be substituted for the other.
193  Other / Meta / Re: Lauda removed from DT network via 3 exclusions on: February 14, 2018, 09:01:43 AM
How beneficial to the forum. Whatever.

Let's see.. number of valid exclusions: N/A. Tomatocage just copied (most of) OgNasty's exclusions:
I think it's quite funny that TC previously left me a positive rating for a deal that never happened, but now I'm less active than ever I'm suddenly not to be trusted.

I would argue that if either Blazed or hilariousandco does not remove Lauda from their trust list in light of the above, they should be removed from being trusted directly by DefaultTrust.
You're wrong. Whether you disagree with it or not, the system is working as intended. No one should be punished for using it as such.
194  Economy / Reputation / Re: Former Staff member Lauda has a pill addiction - *not disputed by lauda* on: February 14, 2018, 08:26:58 AM
Well there is my word...
If it's your word against Lauda's, I think that anyone without ulterior motives would be against you.
195  Economy / Reputation / Re: Former Staff member Lauda has a pill addiction - *not disputed by lauda* on: February 12, 2018, 11:39:17 AM
This is not a baseless claim.
Without evidence, the claim has about as much basis as me saying that you pluck chickens for sexual gratification. Only saying that you have a source 'close to Lauda' doesn't count as evidence.
You should also realize that anecdotal evidence is invalid. Just because someone says they saw Lauda post 'Xans LOL' in some IRC channel doesn't necessarily mean that they did at all.

Also quite funny to see TC rise again. Wonder if he'll actually come back properly, or fade into obscurity for a few months more before doing something else involving trust.
196  Other / Meta / Re: The reason that Merit is working.... on: February 12, 2018, 11:22:56 AM
ie that the merit system can work only for a few exceptional members and not for the thousands of average ones.
So the merit system is working perfectly. Why should users be rewarded for being average?
197  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcoin Talk Forum Donation Page is greedy asf! on: February 12, 2018, 08:58:40 AM
and it also says "You must contact theymos prior to donating if you want to take advantage of this offer: you will be given a unique donation address. See this forum topic for more details." and he'd probably discuss the payment amount.
That is if you want either the VIP or Donator title. You can donate any amount to the forum's address, but if you want one of those you need to contact theymos. The price is firm.

Fun little tidbit: While Slush's pool is the first commercial(?) mining pool, I believe the first case of pooled mining was actually this, by puddinpop.
