1141  Economy / Reputation / Re: Gianluca95 is spamming on: May 23, 2016, 06:29:04 AM
So you support the OP creating this thread well the person is banned and unable to speak for his side of the issue?
There is nothing to speak about; he was a spammer. The proof is in his posts, which are public for everyone to read. There are no excuses for spamming, especially while he was getting paid for it.

There was a bonus of 0.02 BTC for Kozan, since he published the most relevant messages.
You should probably pay closer attention to the members of your campaign before paying them.

AFAIK Kozan had received negative trust* before you paid him out (with his bonus), which is unfair as he is breaking the 6th rule of your campaign.
6. Negative trust account can't join.
...
we decided that non post and negative trust accounts are not allowed to join our signature campaign.

I hope that you pay more attention to the content of your participant's posts to the status of their accounts.

*
I've left him negative trust so he shows up as red under DT.
1143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is doing something on Bitcoin Pizza Day? May 22nd, 2016 on: May 21, 2016, 12:33:14 PM
For anyone wanting to order a Pizza using Bitcoin in celebration and living in Europe, Takeaway.com is a reputable company that accepts Bitcoin. I may consider ordering one myself.

1145  Economy / Auctions / Re: Bitcoin-related .com domains • Starting at $3 each • buyHashes, dogeStats, ... on: May 20, 2016, 09:40:20 AM

1146  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Paytoshi: Micropayments & Faucets on: May 19, 2016, 04:17:58 PM
Hi I'm a noob in paytoshi. So i tranfered the zip file to webspace. extract the zipfile to httpdocs. When i now open the domain www.bitcoinhimmel.de there is the hint Whoops, looks like something went wrong. Sooooo what's wrong? Can you help me. What do you need to help me?
Regards sneex
Considering that a non-existent page gives the same error on your webpage and that error doesn't look like one from the Paytoshi script, I'm guessing that you do not have your index.php file in the correct place. Did you accidentally leave the script in it's paytoshi-faucet-script-v# folder? If not, do you have a folder similar to public_html that you could try putting the script into?

Mods are in support of flagging people for using a sub forum that ownership set up? I can see how people get confused here. Grin
Simply being a moderator doesn't mean you have to agree with everything your superior does, similar to how being a member here doesn't mean you have to agree with the staff.
Regardless, the reasoning behind the sub-forum has been made clear in this thread. If you were to read it there is really not much to be confused about.

I know the line but you can see why these issues bubble up and it seems a member is pushing them to bubble up by leaving these trust ratings.
A user does something untrustworthy. That user gets the consequences of doing something untrustworthy. User complains about consequences.
You would think after a while there would be no issues, as people could simply use their common sense and figure out that their actions have consequences. Sadly, and as this thread shows, this is not the case.

Thought trust was to be a personal reflection of your interaction with the person, rather than a agenda tool.
Quote from: Trust Summary
Negative - You were scammed or you strongly believe that this person is a scammer.
You don't have to trade with someone to distrust them. Promoting an eventual scam is extremely untrustworthy IMO.

If we went by your logic I could steal some bitcoin from a newbie and keep my reputation clean. Since I wouldn't have traded with a DT member they couldn't tag me as a scammer with negative trust. Do you think this is how it should work?
1148  Other / Meta / Re: Please remove 'cryptodevil' from default trust on: May 19, 2016, 12:11:47 PM
Why the forum administration does not remove that forum is beyond me. Having the investor based forum here is actively supporting ponzi  schemes
This was explained above by Lauda. If the section was removed the Ponzi schemes would go back to being posted around the forum like previous and would need a lot of effort to clean up. It's easier just to have all of them in one cesspool than to have to clean them up from around the forum. See:
Removing that board is definitely problematic as it is going to push those games towards other sections

If the administration is really serious about preventing ponzi scams why would they keep that forum alive which enables anyone to openly promote such schemes.
I don't think the administration (theymos and BadBear) really cares currently. The people in the Default Trust system do not represent the views of the administration, nor Lauda or any other staff member than theymos and BadBear.
1149  Other / Meta / Re: Please remove 'cryptodevil' from default trust on: May 19, 2016, 10:21:34 AM
how should i convince him to remove cryptodevil from his list if they are probably good mates Wink
If you don't have a compelling enough argument to send to the person keeping cryptodevil on their trust list, I guess that they don't deserve to be removed from DT. Dooglus doesn't keep people on his trust list because they're his 'good mates', else he wouldn't be on DT1.
So far your argument consists of 'he negative trusted me so I can't earn bitcoin from a signature campaign'. Considering that you can live without being in a signature campaign, your argument isn't really valid enough to warrant anyone else really caring.

My suggestion would be to stop posting support in shady services' threads, wait a few months and contact cryptodevil to ask nicely if he will remove the negative trust. This would probably work better than trying to start a witch hunt against him.
1150  Other / Meta / Re: I'm Gianluca95 and my account is banned for spam. on: May 18, 2016, 05:27:55 PM
I'm curious why this dude is banned ? He should have been banned a long time ago ,the amount of shit he posts in Signature Campaign threads.
I'm just throwing a shot in the dark, however it is probably because a lot of his posts look exactly the same. They're also very frequent, I grabbed all but two of those from the first page of his recent posts.
These posts are obviously copy-pasted, which is unacceptable. Especially so when you're wearing a signature and being paid for it.

The guys running the business you advertise, aparently.
Not running, but spam checking for their signature campaign. Pretty ironic if I say so myself.
1151  Other / Meta / Re: I'm Gianluca95 and my account is banned for spam. on: May 18, 2016, 05:18:44 PM
Whats the threshold for personal messages before you are banned for spam?
There are no fixed numbers, it is a case-by-case basis.
To perhaps elaborate on this, it depends on how/what the user is spamming, and partly how the user conducts themselves on the forum. For example, posting 3-4 large advertisements around the forum would (I hope) give you a temporary ban, however posting 3-4 low quality comments on certain threads would likely be fine.
I also believe that those part of a Signature Campaign are scrutinized more harshly than those who aren't, as they would perhaps be rewarded should they spam.

Would think exceptions would be made for people running a business here or is it frowned on to run a business here?
Why's that? Running a business doesn't make you exempt from rules in real life, why would they on this forum?

1154  Other / Meta / Re: Give physical coins/notes their own board? on: May 16, 2016, 10:16:44 PM
There isn't enough of a demand for Bitcoin Collectibles outside of physical coins/notes for it to warrant it being split into two separate sub-boards. All that would likely happen is the activity from the Collectibles sub-board would move to this new one, leaving the Collectibles sub-board essentially dead.

Maybe a physical coin section with an auction subtopic?
IMO, the opposite should happen. I think that creating a Physical Coins sub-board in the Auctions board would be a better way to combat the messiness of Auctions currently, than killing a current sub-board to achieve it.
1155  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [EDU] List of Bitcoin Scam Sites on: May 16, 2016, 08:19:54 PM
Hi minifrij, could you please add fanbitcoin.com to the list as well. It is a bitcointalk.org clone and most probably a phishing site. It looks dead alike and if someone lands there and forgets to check the link in the address bar(like I did) and enter your login info there, you'd get your account hacked.
I've added it to the list with a note, since the site can (and should only) be used for archival purposes AFAIK. Thanks.
1156  Other / New forum software / Automatic URL encoding for links in URL code. on: May 16, 2016, 08:15:53 PM
The title essentially says everything. This would hopefully fix things such as spaces and [] breaking URLs on the forum.
This change is somewhat insignificant, however it would fix a few small bugs currently happening when links are handled (such as the one posted here) and would be fairly easy to implement I imagine.
1157  Economy / Reputation / Re: How clean my name if someone flag me? on: May 16, 2016, 06:05:42 AM
how exactly CAN domain names be used as collateral?
The domain is transferred to the person giving the loan, and is then sold should the loan be defaulted. If not, the domains are transferred back to the person recieving the loan once they have repaid fully.
The problem with taking domains as collateral is that most of the time they can't be sold quickly for a good price, causing the person giving the loan to be out of pocket for a while.

I have yet to see someone actually take a domain as collateral.   I'm sure it happens but.it's rare.  And I don't think your domains are worth 120% of the loan amount, which is generally what it needs to be.
I believe it happened when EcuaMobi gave a loan to liteon (which was defaulted). Not entirely sure if he has managed to get the loan amount back through collateral yet, which is the problem with accepting domains.
1158  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [EDU] List of Bitcoin Scam Sites on: May 15, 2016, 10:44:34 PM
http://smasher.info/earn.php  They are closed the page 404 not found.
i have 55k satoshi there. Be careful guys..
I don't think I will add this site as I am guessing that it is a GPT. I won't add those to the list for the same reason as Faucets.

This site "bloclkchian.info/wallet-beta/" seems to be a scam trying tu use the name of "blockchain.info" ; they paid google adwords to put ads in the search engine when you write "blockchain info". I can't contact blockchain.info to inform them...
Added to the list, thank you.
In the future, if you see something like this you can report it to AdWords as well through one of their contact methods.

Added to the list, thanks.

Thank you for removing the http:// from your original posts. I would appreciate if you would do the same to the quotes in the posts quoted. Thank you.

They Also Ban Me To When I Request To Withdraw . After 2 Year My Earning LOL

Now I Can't Login ..Huh?
Again, please make or find a thread in Scam Accusations and I will add it to the proper list.
1159  Economy / Digital goods / Re: $20 Steam account credit for only $2! BiPolarDeal! on: May 13, 2016, 10:03:47 PM
You apparently dont read or see my first posts. I lost my password so I have a new account.
Alright, since you're going with this, can you instead sign any quoted addresses from your BiPolarBob account?
Take your pick between this one, this one or this one. You can sign any message so long as it is dated with the current date.
Or, have you forgotten the password to your wallet too? Roll Eyes
