Let’s suppose than I had four 0.01BTC investments (plus interest) and I wanted to invest 0.05 more. I could cash out one of them (to my crypto-games.net account) and then add a new investment for 0.05BTC plus the amount I had cashed out. I suppose that isn't forbidden or anything.
Correct. If you want to increase an investment on a particular then you can simply divest that coin, then reinvest on the same coin with a higher value. So long as you wait long enough for the divestment fee to disappear, there is no downside to doing this.
302  Economy / Collectibles / Re: https://store.btcc.com/ gone? on: November 28, 2017, 07:25:28 PM
Did it have to do with any crackdown against BTC in China?   Huh
I believe that the crackdown only affected those facilitating the exchange of BTC, not those selling bitcoin related products. I'd expect that it is like greenplastic is saying, that the items on the store had no use being there as they were all sold out.

It'd be nice if BTCC_Official could comment here though, to let us know for sure.
303  Other / Meta / Re: Activity & new membergroup limits on: November 28, 2017, 07:22:04 PM
I have a question...the summer I changed the bitcoin address because the old was lost the wallet key... I have rebuilt, but many of the functions of an account is not available to me( because when you change the bitcoin addresses, blocks some of the functions of an account for six months(...is there a way to remove restrictions from an account?all the necessary evidence ready to submit?accordingly my activity came to a standstill, although the date of my registration on february 15, 2016(who can I contact about this?
Changing the Bitcoin address on your profile is aesthetic only AFAIK; it doesn't do anything to your account. You probably just don't understand how the activity system works.
304  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recommended bitcointalk escrow services on: November 28, 2017, 06:56:29 AM
Should probably add Blazed to this list.
Is Blazed doing escrow currently? It says on the CET thread that he is on leave.
305  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★Crypto-Games.net ★ 10 coins ★ 7 games ★ Since 2014 ★ Largest crowdfunded casino on: November 27, 2017, 09:20:23 PM
hello. long time no talk. i saw that was a a link on front page that went to a malicious site
it's the dash link on front page showing the bankroll.
It's not malicious, the SSL certificate just expired on the domain. However, it redirects to dash.org anyway so that may as well replace it.
306  Other / Meta / Re: This section is a mess. on: November 27, 2017, 10:16:16 AM
I've actually already started writing one. I also plan on suggesting to theymos that newbies are also forced to read the rules upon sign up so there's no excuses when they get permabanned for copy and pasting or whatnot.
Sounds great, thank you.
"how do i post image???" should probably be covered in there too, since that's an annoyingly common topic.

I haven't changed mine because there have been so many threads about password changes causing accounts to be locked.
You joined after the database was known to be compromised. You also don't have anything to worry about in terms of changing your password provided you don't use your Secret Question. Doing so will lock your account.
307  Other / Meta / Re: This section is a mess. on: November 26, 2017, 01:59:01 PM
The 'rank up' threads should just be trashed on sight especially since most are just too lazy to read because they're so eager to spam their way through the ranks to start shitposting on a campaign, but moving them to somewhere else isn't going to do anything but just create more work for Staff (most of them are already posted in the wrong sections and are moved to Meta).
My suggestion for the rank up threads wasn't to move them, it was to delete them and redirect to a central topic similar to how the [General] threads work in Beginners and Help. I'd be happy to report these threads and write the General thread if needed.
My suggestion for the 'my account is hacked' threads was to move them to another section, to make it easier for both Staff and the people that want to read this section. +1 if signatures were disabled in that section.

What about to find why those accounts are suddenly compromised.
Because the DB is now available publicly for free and people still haven't changed their passwords.
308  Other / Meta / Re: Excellent Cyrus got a promotion just another scumbag in the team on: November 25, 2017, 10:06:14 PM
Were the insults even necessary? Also, as far as I'm aware, he's Romanian.
I feel like he was just projecting.

If you ask me you're a fucking idiot for letting your account get lost in the first place, and even more so for thinking that this will achieve anything. I sincerely hope that you never get your account back.
309  Other / Meta / Re: Can I find out why my account is banned? on: November 25, 2017, 10:01:14 PM
Turkish is my mother language but I live in London.
Did you grow up in Turkey? How long have you lived in London for?
310  Other / Meta / Re: Can I find out why my account is banned? on: November 25, 2017, 05:07:11 PM
Hello Theymos
You'd likely have more luck messaging Cyrus than theymos; he's much more likely to reply.

Regarding the actual point, the quote button was always available for if you wanted to quote a section of text. It also very much does look like your account was sold; it goes from someone posting in near perfect English to poor grammar and extreme activity in the Turkish local section. If this is the case, I can't say I feel very sorry for you.
311  Other / Meta / Re: IP addresses in Bitcointalk - Addressed to the MODS & Admins on: November 25, 2017, 01:29:32 PM
If so, why do scammers not have their ip leaked? If changing the password of your account is all that is needed for the ip to be given to you, why aren't the ips of people who've stolen a shit ton of money leaked?
Because an IP address is worthless information. The most information that it can give is the ISP that the affected user is doing, and that is completely invalidated if the user is using a public WiFi hotspot or a VPN.
Not only that, but that IP may not even represent the user behind it properly. Even if I don't use the things I just mentioned, all I have to do is restart my router to get a new IP.

There is absolutely nothing that anyone can do with an IP address, and therefore it is not worth the trouble for an administrator to try and dig it up.
312  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recommended bitcointalk escrow services on: November 23, 2017, 08:04:19 PM
I retract my statement
In which case, I assert it.
313  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lauda, Sold bitcointalk accounts, Giving neg for others for same reason. on: November 23, 2017, 06:19:09 PM
How am I, as a user, sure I will not be flagged again by Pharmacist or anyone else if not by reading the rules? Do I need to be a mind reader to know that? How can I do that?
Don't do anything untrustworthy, such as try to sell an identity to someone else.

I repeat, I have followed the rules of this forum to the last letter and he gave me negative rating.
I want you to find me the rule that says 'Do not scam'.
When you're done, I want you to then tell me this: Do you think that we should give Negative trust to scammers?

I think it should not be allowed and I would not be part of that if this were the case. But IT IS NOT THE CASE. So what gives you right to flag people accounts over something which is not an unclear grey area but clearly allowed.
What do you mean 'what gives him the right'? His right is that he is a forum member, and can leave positive and negative trust to anyone for whatever reasons he chooses.
Would you prefer that people were silenced and stopped from leaving trust, just because someone doesn't like them? (I'm guessing that is a yes, so you can continue with your shitty, shady account trading).

How can you break a rule which is NOT A RULE at the moment you break it???
Has anyone said that you have broken a rule? Negative trust doesn't indicate that you have broken a rule, it indicates that you have done something untrustworthy. Try to get it through your thick noggin that the rules and the trust system are completely different and unrelated.
314  Economy / Reputation / Re: Who is judging the judge? The Lauda problem. on: November 23, 2017, 06:04:58 PM
- Why not give Ethereum believers negative trust, because it is a way to create a scam ICOs
Completely different scenario.
Ethereum isn't the issue if a scammy ICO appears, the ICO its self is. People that shill said ICO will get negative trust. Just like people that try to mislead the vulnerable into thinking that something other than Bitcoin is Bitcoin deserve negative trust.

- Why not XRP believers give negative trust, because it is "centralised", "bank owned" asset
Because no one is trying to mislead anyone and claim otherwise. You, when you say that BCH is Bitcoin, are.
315  Economy / Reputation / Re: Lauda, Sold bitcointalk accounts, Giving neg for others for same reason. on: November 22, 2017, 08:17:37 AM
Is there a reason why vod is declining to address this?
Because people are bored of your stupid, biased behaviour.
316  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion - Report to moderator on: November 18, 2017, 02:14:00 PM
Thanks, but if you use that addon and report in the big box, admins should also use that addon to view it, else they still will have the 1 by 1 box right?
I'd expect that moderators and administrators have a much nicer interface for reading reports than users do for making them. This shouldn't be an issue.
317  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestion - Report to moderator on: November 18, 2017, 02:07:18 PM
I have made a quick TamperMonkey script that replaces the input box with a larger, expandable box. Hopefully this should make it easier for more detailed reports to be made.

You can find it here.
318  Other / Meta / Re: Can't "unwatch" some threads on: November 16, 2017, 06:45:34 PM
If you want your unwatched threads to disappear from the list, you have to use the Watchlist.
319  Other / Meta / Re: banned by a forum moderator on: November 16, 2017, 03:33:20 PM
Well, we are all human beings. and should help each other.
I bet that he was really helping the person funding his signature campaign by stealing content to trick the manager. Stealing money from the campaign.

We have a big family and he found a job on the forum.
How's that job going for him now?
Signature campaigns aren't jobs, and should never be used as such for this exact reason.

Why are you so angry ??
I've seen this forum get progressively worse because of people like him, scumming up the forum for money. It's near ruined one of my favourite places to visit.
320  Other / Meta / Re: banned by a forum moderator on: November 16, 2017, 03:13:21 PM
copy and paste was once .he forgot and did not have time to remove the post
it was once. not more
Now that he doesn't have the forum to post on, he has much more time. Maybe he can even fit in pressing a button and waiting a few seconds.

forum is his work.
Get a real job.

'it was only once' -> Posts link to thread where he does almost nothing but copy and paste. Nice one.

give him one more chance.
No.
