441  Economy / Reputation / Re: Requesting proof of trade between Zepher and TMAN[Zepher engaging in fake trades on: August 04, 2017, 11:07:36 AM
Unfortunately, it seems that Zepher and many of his friends do not like it when people even ask questions about Zepher's trades.
I notice that you have a trade with xetsr for cash in the mail. The risked amount is 4BTC, and there is no reference. Due to this, I don't think that this trade happened and is a result of you farming trust with your buddies in an attempt to cover up your self escrow scandal.
In order to prove this isn't the case I require arbitrary proof of the transaction so that I can make a fair judgement about you (this is completely irrelevant to absolutely everything, and serves no purpose whatsoever). Please give me the TXid along with proof that you own the address(es) that received the BTC.
442  Other / Meta / Re: Note to admins, BCC is an alt, why threads about it are in the main forum? on: August 03, 2017, 04:43:20 PM
Does BCH have the longest chain of blocks? X
Does BCH have the most hash power behind it? X
Does BCH have the highest price? X
Does BCH have the most use cases? X
Does BCH have the highest market cap? X

There is absolutely nothing that BCH offers that should make it equal with Bitcoin. It is alternate chain with different consensus rules. It is an Altcoin. It belongs in the Altcoin section.
Perhaps if the above questions change over time this can be discussed again. For now, it belongs in the same place as the other 'Bitcoins'.
443  Other / Meta / Re: Slovenian local board on: July 31, 2017, 04:47:03 PM
There are four other topics in the Other languages/locations board that have more activity than the thread for Slovenian. I wouldn't expect to get a subforum for Slovenian until you can surpass all of their activity (or all four of those topics receive subforums of their own).
444  Other / Meta / Re: Removing Multibit section on: July 31, 2017, 12:05:39 PM
Perhaps the board should be moved to the Archival section.

I don't think that this should be done immediately though, since there are likely still people using the Multibit wallet. Perhaps after the Segwit2x Hard Fork, if it goes through, as the wallet will be incompatible at that time.
445  Other / Meta / Re: Spam Attack . beware must read and need someone to check if it is key logger on: July 31, 2017, 02:35:15 AM
Those sites do not look like phishing sites or attempting to send you keyloggers, as most of the links you receive are actually just a Google redirect to a different country domain other than the US.
I agree, there is no possible way that they can hide links like that. Just follow the link here to go to the Colombian version of Google - https://google.co.
446  Economy / Reputation / Re: I now think that kiklo is totally right on: July 31, 2017, 01:05:09 AM
You are not the only one with this opinion, however others are afraid to speak up because they know there are negative reputational consequences for disagreeing with minifrij's group.
Of course. As you can see, my 'group' has absolutely destroyed 8xbt's reputation for speaking out against me. You can see clearly just how merciless we all are.

My inbox is always open for people that want to tell me how much of a piece of shit I am, if you've not got the balls to say it publicly.
447  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Keyois Capsule, keys engraved in Tungsten wallet. Bonus pics-melted in acid! on: July 29, 2017, 10:34:37 PM
I openly support the whitepaper and Satohi's design for Bitcoin. What's wrong with that?
Please point to me where Emergent Consensus is shown in the Bitcoin whitepaper/endorsed by Satoshi. (Satoshi saying that the block size can be increased doesn't count).
Wanting to scale through increased block size is fine. Wanting to implement a broken, buggy system with limited peer review into a $4 billion dollar economy isn't.

Why are you being such a cunt? Regardless of what your opinions on scaling are, talking to people like they're challenged doesn't make you, your product or your ideas on scaling look any better. Grow up.

448  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Lauda/TMAN/minifrij extortion attempt on: July 26, 2017, 12:19:10 PM
I guess to expect the other 2 to come along as well Roll Eyes
Don't hold your breath. I'm usually the only one dumb enough to take the bait.

Don't recall looking at your profile, if I did, I would of stated where you were from.
I know you didn't. That's why I told you to.

It's not just in these two threads either.  When someone starts pushing their "friends" "associates" "suggestion" or "opinion" ya they get lumped in.  You don't have the luxury of saying I'm on the sidelines  Roll Eyes sidelines is not an observer it is an active participant although sitting
It'd be really helpful if you could split up your posts to show what exactly you are replying to. I'm not sure what you're trying to say here.

I don't consider it drama.  I consider this an Extortion.
Relating to me, this thread is drama because Quickseller doesn't like me. If you read about my 'involvement', you can see that I wasn't at all related to the extortion and was simply trying to enforce forum rules. This is something I'll be sure not to do again. Ban evaders can run wild for all I care; I'm not risking my reputation to try and make this place better.

The other thread is just another attempt at getting to OG.  Both of these things are wrong.
As I said, I couldn't care less about the drama between Og and others. I have my own gripes with Og that I may or may not address in the future, but relating to his treasurer status I am indifferent.

I'm not going to shut my mouth or get "bullied" wrong Joe Bro
Cool? I don't believe I ever asked you to.

BTW there is an ignore button you don't have to see/read/whatever I got to say.
I believe I have only ever ignored one user on this board and that was only temporary. I can't say I intend to start now, especially with people expressing semi-valid opinions.

TMAN lives in the UK, he apparently lives not far from Zepher (I would have to look up where exactly Zepher lives as I don't remember the address off the top of my head).
Neither of these claims are accurate. TMAN no longer lives in the UK AFAIK, and he has never lived near Zepher.

minifrij also lives in the UK, although not necessarily near TMAN.
Correct.

zeroaxl was bullied into also doing this.
Not from my understanding. I was told that TMAN and Zeroxal had made an agreement and was requested to adhere to it.
449  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Lauda/TMAN/minifrij extortion attempt on: July 26, 2017, 01:54:43 AM
I find it ironic those same 3 stooges Lauda/TMAN/minifrij are in the other thread.
I'm guessing you mean the OgNasty thread. In regards to that, Lauda and I like to keep up to date on current forum events. I couldn't give a fuck about the current situation between TMAN and OgNasty (or whoever else is involved), which you can see if you read my post.

Those 3 and other's in that group sure do like to pack on the posts  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
Almost like we enjoy posting here. I'm truly glad that people would like to ruin that simply because I associate myself with select groups of people.

He should of called the feds/interpol himself....Tman, and Lauda I HIGHLY suspect  Wink are not in the usa.
TMAN isn't. No idea about Lauda, but I also suspect not.

Can't say much for the last stooge.
I'm assuming you mean me. Look on my profile.

In addition, this offer isn't just open to 8xbt:
My full name and the city I live in has been posted publicly by me in the past. Please report me to the authorities for my heinous crimes of creating threads on an internet forum.

They seem to be running the gamut lately.......oh the Alt's  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
I have one alt that I have noted myself publicly with 3 posts on it.

I'm sure ya'll got some drama, I'm not in that.  Just leaving my 2 cents.
Seems to me, judging by your last posts, you're knee deep in some drama. Whatever floats your boat.
450  Economy / Reputation / Re: I now think that kiklo is totally right on: July 25, 2017, 10:27:29 PM
In my opinion Quickseller is correct on his opinion about your credibility.
FTFY.

His usage of the legendary title can be regarded as another deficiency in the forum apart from the trust system.
'Legendary' is given to anyone that passes a certain activity threshold. You'll even get it one day if you stay active enough, god forbid.

Regardless, when approaching situations like this I should remember the following saying:
"Arguing with an idiot is like wrestling with a pig. You both get dirty and the pig will enjoy it."
I just hope you can understand what this means more than you understand how this forum works.

You're wrong, stop confusing people.
You sure love digging up that quote, huh?

Regardless, my mistake. I apologize.

Are any of you on that list of donors?  If not, you don't have a say in things  Undecided
theymos said that the amount he holds currently varies. In the address listed, around 750BTC are held. This likely makes up a fair amount of what Quickseller is referring to.
452  Other / Meta / Re: With BTC splitting, what will be done with the fourms 6,000? BTC on: July 25, 2017, 12:00:37 AM
According to that there is at least 750 BTC.
Keep in mind that the forum no longer has access to the coins held by paraipan, so the figure is closer to 500BTC. see below for the correct figure.
453  Economy / Reputation / Re: [POLL] Should OgNasty be removed as a forum treasurer? on: July 24, 2017, 08:03:46 PM
Is this the deceased guy? I think I have heard the coins he was holding couldn't be retrieved and were lost a while ago. Or am I mistaken?
Yes, paraipan passed away in 2014 while holding 250BTC of the forum's money. He is a practical example of when multisig would be helpful.
454  Economy / Reputation / Re: [POLL] Should OgNasty be removed as a forum treasurer? on: July 24, 2017, 07:55:57 PM
I don't even know who the remaining treasurers are?
The only living treasurer (other than theymos) is currently OgNasty. paraipan is still holding the forum's Bitcoin, but I don't think I have to say why he isn't relevant. However, the source hasn't been updated in a while so I may be wrong.
455  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: OGnasty has been compromised. |ID!0T| on: July 22, 2017, 09:44:20 PM
How's about you stop having a mental breakdown for a few minutes, take a deep breath and post all of the proof of this before spamming both the forum and the trust system? That would be more helpful than throwing a paddy.

Also, this is thread #2 about this issue, is it not?
This is thread #1, #2, #3, #4, #5. He also posted on at least one of Og's topics with the same shit.
456  Other / Meta / Re: DT1 Changes on: July 21, 2017, 06:50:48 PM
DeaDTerra has been removed from DT1. Thank you theymos.
457  Economy / Auctions / Re: ePay.info For Sale on: July 20, 2017, 02:42:05 PM
snip
This is just the service that the owners used to host the website, probably not the owner of the website themselves. You'd be barking up the wrong tree here most likely.
458  Economy / Reputation / Re: I now think that kiklo is totally right on: July 20, 2017, 11:15:34 AM
He has zero credibility in my book, and you can/should ignore everything he says.
This is also a 'get out of jail free' card for not answering questions that don't go along with your narrative. This is a popular card in QS' hand.

Unfortunately the trust system is far too concentrated in that very few people effectively are "running" the trust system, and are deciding what is "right" and "wrong" which frequently does not align with the views of the rest of the community (I am not talking about who is trusted directly by "DefaultTrust).
OgNasty and a group of undesirables do not make up the rest of the community. Anyone credible that disagreed with what these users are doing would be fighting against them. It's just a big conspiracy that they're not, right?

Also a fairly small number are in the Default Trust network to begin with, I believe a lesser number of people than when CITM was trusted by DefaultTrust, which is probably the sole negative with removing him from being trusted by DefaultTrust.
Having a large number of people on the Default Trust system to do nothing but boost another user's trust score (as DeaDTerra has done) provides nothing to the system other than a larger attack vector for hackers. There is no negative to removing a user doing this.

I am sure it is just a matter of time before these guys will go to prison. It is not a coincidence that they are involved in some alleged extortion things.
My full name and the city I live in has been posted publicly by me in the past. Please report me to the authorities for my heinous crimes of creating threads on an internet forum.
459  Economy / Reputation / Re: I now think that kiklo is totally right on: July 19, 2017, 08:49:05 PM
Real idiot wasting time to make reply on these minor things.
I'm watching a sports game. Posting is something to keep me busy instead of waiting around during the breaks. That is the absolute opposite as far as I know.

What I say for quitting is I will not waste time to contribute on this forum, that is enough. I have quitted it.
That's a shame.

Perhaps now that you are not contributing to the forum you can finally fit in the time to actually learn how the systems that you are criticizing work so that you don't look like such a dunce when you do decide to post.

RE: Fork/split chains:
https://faucethub.io/news/post/66
Bitcoin Unlimited is irrelevant now, and it is not the fork that could possibly happen on August 1st. This is instead BIP148 a.k.a UASF. There is also a risk of Bitcoin ABC/UAHF forking. You can read more here.
You should probably read more into the several possible forks that could occur; the situation has changed significantly since BU vs Core.
