1041  Other / Meta / Re: Trust system is abused. on: July 15, 2016, 12:39:05 AM
There is a way.  It's called messaging a moderator and pleading your case.
To which the moderator will say "Trust is not moderated, sorry". Especially considering that the negative feedback was given due to the user doing something discouraged by the forum.
I wonder if your account has been sold again, since I'm sure you've had this explained to you in the past.
1042  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [EDU] List of Bitcoin Scam Sites on: July 15, 2016, 12:10:52 AM
When u start betting thousands of dollars on one bet u will see thoisands of things wrong with that.
That's not the same situation though. This is about someone (who has made extremely improbable margins of profit) being temporarily unable to withdraw their funds while their account is scanned for fraudulent activity.
Not only this, but AFAIK they have already received half of their withdrawal. I would say that is more than fair considering the current situation, especially when said situation has not fully happened yet.

Also the fact that u think its trusted disnt mean it is.
While I do think the site is trusted, that isn't my reasoning for stating that the site is reputable. Stunna (the owner) is a very trusted individual in the community, and PrimeDice its self has had very few large complaints/accusations over the years it has ran (not to mention a lot of said accusations were made by scammers/trolls).
There isn't a site on this list that is there specifically because I trust or distrust it, hence why almost every site has one or more references as to why they are on the list.

I also trust most sites u have abused on this thread. But that dosnt mean theyy are trusted
I don't believe I have abused anyone on this list, nor did the previous OP. Sites on this list are there because they either stole BTC or products from someone, or did not resolve a situation which caused someone loss (whether monetary or other).
1043  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [EDU] List of Bitcoin Scam Sites on: July 14, 2016, 05:48:08 PM
snip
I suggest that you make a thread in the Scam Accusations section with all proof you have.

Primedice scam.
If u are a big gambler, avoid it. Here is proof.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1546299.0
I'll see how this pans out over the next week or two, though I don't see a huge problem in what PrimeDice is doing currently. They are a reputable company and I believe they will do the right thing.
You're also being very obnoxious in that thread by the way, doesn't help your point at all.
1044  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] $35 BTC - Have PayPal on: July 12, 2016, 08:32:58 PM
Would it be possible to trade ~$17 of BTC for your Paypal?

1046  Other / Meta / Re: 80 Shit Posts In 1 day! How come this idiot is not banned yet ? on: July 12, 2016, 05:54:52 PM
It's unfortunate that some campaigns don't care whether their members have negative rating or not, otherwise the people from DT could do something about this as well. Quickly skimming through the last two pages: I've found zero posts that are worth reading.
In this case, may I ask why he wasn't banned? I understand that banning a user isn't as simple as it sounds however, in such an extreme case of breaking the first rule of the forum, I can't think that a decision by a global mod would take very long.

I would be surprised if Namworld did anything. This type of cheap spam is probably the only thing keeping a dead site like Coinroll alive.
In some sense he (Namworld) isn't really obliged to kick him out from the signature campaign but as you said 'I would be surprised if Namworld did anything'.
IIRC Namworld doesn't particularly care about the signature campaign. He has previously delayed payments to all of his users, and allows a large amount of spammers to participate in the campaign with little to no action.
I really wish there were some sort of action to be taken against campaigns (and managers) like this. They do nothing but exploit and degrade the forum for their own gain.
1047  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: July 12, 2016, 04:07:52 PM
What will happen when there are a bunch of legendary accounts.
There will be a lot of Legendary accounts?
Theymos has said in the past that he was considering creating a rank over Legendary, so perhaps something similar to that could be implemented in the future. Considering that there are still <1,000 of such accounts however, and only a certain amount of those are active, I don't think there is a dire need for such.

Maybe there should be also a Post quality qualifier for activity.
This is close to impossible as there isn't a way for a machine to accurately judge post quality, so it would likely require manual approval. This would be unnecessary work for the staff for such an insignificant change.
1048  Other / Meta / Re: tigerfree on: July 11, 2016, 09:28:29 PM
I don't know how he is hacking those accounts,as far as I know he is an bubble headed idiot who can barely write code and he just appears dumb as shit in general.
He is most likely taking advantage of those with poor security (through either phishing or using older password hashes as Lutpin suggested). As long as you use good security practices I expect you have very little to worry about.

I had posted proof that the account was hacked before anyone else knew it.
I posted it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1546440.msg15547183#msg15547183
Now it is removed by someone, I don't know who removed it and why. It wasn't a self moderated thread, also I didn't get any notification that it was removed.
I spent like an hour researching this asshole hacker and the all my effort gets deleted, why?
Does the thread its-self still exist in a viewable format? AFAIK if a thread is deleted with all of it's posts no warning is given.
1049  Economy / Services / Re: ❃❃ ▶▷ BETCOIN.ag ◁◀ ❃❃#Signature Campaign-High Pay, Monthly Bonus, Special Award on: July 11, 2016, 09:17:20 PM
I would like to leave this campaign. Feel free to discount my posts since the last stage.
Just posting for it to be public knowledge.
1050  Other / Meta / Re: 80 Shit Posts In 1 day! How come this idiot is not banned yet ? on: July 11, 2016, 06:45:26 PM
you can check out some of my posts, and you can find many where i have actually pasted the link,
to the tutorial with earning bitcoins,i dont know what you mean about this.
i did it in many post's so this argument is invalid.
"I can't say anything about the bits of your post that mean something, so I'll reply to an invalid point."

The fact that someone is allowed to post like this, regardless of signature, shows that there is becoming a serious problem with the current system when dealing with post quality.
IMO more staff members are needed to police users like this, perhaps dedicated to dealing with post quality, and any signature campaigns ran by a bot should be removed. They are asking for spammers to exploit them.
1051  Other / Meta / Re: Help with account access Please on: July 07, 2016, 08:32:29 PM
What you should do is contacting the moderator or directly theymos.
If this is the case and you want to get your original account back, you will have to contact theymos with the information stated in this thread. Contacting a moderator will achieve nothing; they cannot recover accounts.

Keep in mind that the process of recovering your account could take several months or more, so it may be faster to cut your losses and start over with a new account.
1052  Economy / Gambling / Re: [FREE BTC] neodice.ml | MoneyPot dice game with innovative design, XP feature on: July 05, 2016, 06:43:27 PM
You should pay the people that you still owe from your previous giveaways before launching a new one. For the people that haven't see the previous ones, he offered to pay 200 bits for every 1000 bits wagered, up to 20k bits, but no one was paid, and no proof of payment was shown. He also lied about things like have a 0 house edge (moneypot doesn't support 0/+EV bets, so it isn't possible). Be aware.
Not only this, but .ml is a TLD that can be registered for free. Any sort of casino or dice site that is not even bothering to register a paid domain should not be trusted with yours, or anyone else's, money.
1053  Other / Meta / Re: why i am banned ? on: July 05, 2016, 01:09:25 AM
okay i agree i copy pasted 1-2 posts...
i accept i copy pasted 2-3 posts
Well, there's no real way that you could deny it.

but some users who scam people here may be not return loan from a person or not pay for a service only get a negative trust and allowed in a forum
See the first Q&A in the Rules. Scams are not moderated on this forum.

a newbie like me who made some mistake didnt even warned a single time and suddenly a ban....atleast moderators have given me a negative trust and given me a warning...but nothing just banned..
See the aforementioned thread. Copying and pasting posts goes against Rule 1. If you break the rules, the forum as a zero tolerance policy.

i accept i copy pasted 2-3 posts but that is my mistake but also i was making other posts which were not spammy..
Regardless, you spammed the forum. You could make 1,000 quality posts, however it will not excuse if you were to then spam several shitty copy-pasted posts (especially so if you were to be paid for such).

i think i should have been given a second chance...
The staff don't, and their opinion is the one that matters on this matter. Sorry.
1054  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: bithra.com | Free and provably fair escrow on: July 04, 2016, 12:48:27 PM
...the owner of escrow provider (Rhavar in this case) not believing in screenshots which already provides a solid proof to the case!
This is because screenshots are not valid proof whatsoever, and should never be taken as such (especially when monetary loss could ensue because of it). I mean, you even said the same thing to me over Skype, right? Wink
1055  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [EDU] List of Bitcoin Scam Sites on: July 04, 2016, 12:33:47 PM
It's not a flaw in how the system is made, it's by design. It's a free service, that is designed to take the upside out of scamming someone. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, and is strictly better than just directly sending someone money. On every page of the site (especially so on the page before you send money, it reminds you there is no arbitration).
While it wasn't technically a flaw in the system, it was a flaw by design. The fact that there is no mediator in the escrow meaning that problems such as kassadin5's can arise is inherently a flaw in the system IMO. It's a shame that it was shut down, however it is perhaps something better left to humans.
1056  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Steam Summer Sale Trading Cards (Get paid for a free task) on: July 03, 2016, 06:32:16 PM
Is there a way to send sell/send you these cards without mobile autheticator activated? I have 8 of these cards ATM.
Sorry, there isn't. By the time the trade had confirmed and gone though (15 days), the cards would have expired and become useless.

Anyway, apparently Steam is having some problems with traffic:

Sorry
The Steam Community is currently unavailable. Please try again later.
Error 503 Service Unavailable
XID: 3711530700
Steam has a lot of intermittent problems, especially considering the Summer Sale. It is no problem.
1057  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Steam Summer Sale Trading Cards (Get paid for a free task) on: July 03, 2016, 01:02:32 PM
Last chance to sell me any Summer Trading Cards you may have in your inventory! They will expire after tomorrow.
1058  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [EDU] List of Bitcoin Scam Sites on: July 03, 2016, 11:37:02 AM
this "escrow" service doesn't have any way to give you your btc back if you get scammed, you can find more info here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1534851.0 and here - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1456828.msg15446184#msg15446184

www.bithra.com
I'm hesitant to add this, since your problems are caused by a flaw in the way that the system is made. If you weren't willing to accept that, you shouldn't have used the service.
I will see how this turns out in the coming days and weeks and make a decision then.

I don't think paxful should be here
Personally, I do. Over the three reference threads associated there are several different people claiming that the site is a scam. I don't believe that any site with that many scam accusations and such little response from support staff on said accusations should be trusted with anyone's money.
1059  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] a-ads.com: Bitcoin advertising network. Advertise now! on: July 02, 2016, 10:24:01 PM
you statistics say 100 unique impressions brings me 30 000 impression Huh
snip
sorry i dont understand your system becourse i have much more than 100 unique visitors/day Huh

kind regards
Unique visitors are measured over all ad units across the network.
If someone has previously been on a website with an a-ads banner on it, then goes to your site, that user will not be recorded as a unique impression to you (they will be recorded to the banner previous to yours, or whichever a-ads banner the user saw first).
1060  Other / Meta / Re: Service Discussion > New sections. on: July 02, 2016, 05:25:21 PM
Random question (or maybe not) - where does an announcement thread for a wallet/exchange belong? Should they be in the service discussion --> exchanges (or online wallet) section or in the service discussion section?
Would the announcement not belong in the Service Announcements section, then a discussion/support thread could be made in the Service Discussion->Exchanges/Online Wallets section?

How about a Advertising networks that pays with Bitcoin such a-ads etc.. section too? (Both questions and announcements and everything related to it)
I'm not sure if there is enough demand for that, especially since the Micro Earnings section already encompasses them.
