1021  Other / Meta / Re: Illiterate sig spammers on: July 24, 2016, 01:32:36 PM
I dont know why is for somebody annoying if forum have signature campainsg allowed. That is good for forum users and users which come just  to advertise their site.So the are in position win-win and forum admin is in win-win position because forum is more popular.
The majority of the problems with Signature Campaigns are the things that stem off of them. If you give someone an incentive to post on the forum then it is guaranteed that some people will take advantage of this, spamming the forum with useless shit.
This benefits no one but the spammer. It ruins the forum experience for a number of users, and paints the company incentivizing this posting in a bad light for allowing it (Ex. YoBit, CoinRoll).

I hate when rich peoples are moving ref link code
Because once again, it encourages spam. This forum (Especially subsections such as Micro Earnings and Gambling) would become a cesspool should ref links be allowed.

In regards to the original post, I believe that the main problem with spam stems from there not being a clear point of what is and isn't allowed. You would think that threads promoting said spam would be disallowed under the 'No Insubstantial Posts' rule, but apparently not.
If you want to ignore the majority of these posters, I would suggest DannyHamilton's ignore list. While it does sometimes block posters with constructive posts, it is a fairly good compromise to avoid seeing spam.

Signature updated, thank you for accepting me.
1023  Other / Meta / Re: Cheap troll spreading hate. on: July 24, 2016, 12:02:13 AM
Why did you say Russia is the best? They just outlawed bitcoins in their country and it doesn't look like bitcoins will spread in Russia, until maybe when Putin leaves.
They are referring to the user RussiaIsBest. At least try reading the topic before spamming for signature payment.

On topic, I don't really see the problem with this user. The only possible rule breaking post that I can find is this one, which could possibly be removed on the bounds of spam. Other than that the rest of his posts are simply just his opinion. This isn't usually removed by the forum on the bounds of trying to retain as much free speech as possible.
If you don't like what a user says, you can always press the 'Ignore' button.
1024  Economy / Services / Re: [2 OPEN SLOTS] Rollin.io Signature & Avatar Campaign on: July 23, 2016, 11:55:03 PM
Would it be possible for me to join the campaign?

I would prefer to update my signature once accepted.
1025  Economy / Services / Re: Help me find 'The Bodyguard' on: July 23, 2016, 11:52:20 PM
How's about this?
I haven't downloaded it and checked, but 1337x is somewhat known and it has a decent amount of seeds.
1026  Other / Meta / Re: I just hacked 3 and scammed 3 members. on: July 22, 2016, 10:02:43 PM
I doubt that an account gets banned just for "its hacked".
That depends. IIRC some hacked accounts have been banned (once the original owner has provided sufficient proof) by staff to prevent their misuse.
I somewhat doubt this is the case with some of these accounts however, since I remember seeing some of then didn't have a staked address.
1027  Economy / Services / Re: Paying for the DOX of a scammer on: July 22, 2016, 06:13:02 PM
He said doxx though he did not say the info was for the police else he would not use the word doxx.
Doxing someone is just getting someone's public information and compiling it, regardless of the purpose. His use of language has no significance on what he is using it for.

You are not only his victim, theres another.

Look at CD's trust page, you will find hundreds of other 'victims'.

You must report this to admin
Theymos wouldn't do anything for this. If you want to contact a higher power for this, you would have to contact the person who put CD onto the DT list (dooglus).

Why is he doing this? Have you done something wrong. Why he put negative trust on you?
Because the OP was vocally supporting a Ponzi website, which (by design) steals money from people. By doing this other members can be deceived into thinking such websites are legitimate, possibly resulting in monetary loss for said member. I would say that doing this is pretty untrustworthy, and CD is completely right to leave the trust that he does.
1029  Other / Meta / Re: I just hacked 3 and scammed 3 members. on: July 22, 2016, 10:59:09 AM
The admin should really do a force reset of all the passwords, this is going out of controll and need to be stoped right now.
Is it not possible that he simply do a force reset?
The question would be how he could go about doing something like this.
Would he set all the passwords to the same and allow every account on the website to be hacked much easier?
Would he send out user's passwords through E-mail, leaving those without an E-mail linked to their accounts locked out?

Theymos already sent out an email when the leak happened (over a year ago) warning users to change their passwords; I do not think there is not much more he could do without breaking some user's forum experience.

1032  Other / Meta / Re: Idea: ability to turn signature off for certain posts on: July 19, 2016, 01:23:12 PM
...having the ability to turn them off in certain areas it will appease many of the people who have such a hatred for the signature campaigns.  It basically keeps everyone happy.
It would only keep people who dislike Signature Campaigns happy if people were to use this feature, which I doubt the majority of Signature Campaigners would.
While it's a nice idea, I doubt it would be worth the time or effort to implement this considering most Campaigners would care more about their earnings than how other members feel.
1033  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [EDU] List of Bitcoin Scam Sites on: July 18, 2016, 06:14:21 PM
Does anybody use bitcoincloud.online?
Offline since about one week.
Does anybody know who is behind this mining service?
**********************************************
simply trash
Cloud mining websites are very rarely legit; the majority of which are Ponzi scams. Did you lose any BTC there? If so, make a Scam Accusation thread with all of the information and I will add it to the list.

I have added this site to the list, thank you for reporting.

Breaking news: mini and I are partners in crime.
Damnit, this was meant to be a secret!
1036  Other / Meta / Re: Q: Should Lauda *really* be a moderator of bitcointalk A: no on: July 17, 2016, 08:58:09 PM
i have screenshots of those deleted posts ... that's not some bumps, and nothing offensive or what in those..
Then send them to a global moderator, such as Cyrus or Hilariousandco, and ask why they were removed. Either that, or post the screenshots here and I'm sure someone will tell you what you did wrong.

by the way Lutpin have publiquely admit too ... ( i'm not so wrong) it was him ... soooo, why this hate and this mass reports since 15 jully ?
Because your post was breaking a rule, and Lutpin doesn't want posts that break the rules to be on the forum, so he reports them? Lutpin has reported over 6,000 posts, and I'm sure they're not all yours. I've had posts which are months old deleted, a few days is nothing.

it's because Lada have try to extortion for this coin , he have menace to rate me in red on my ranking if i dont sold him this coin for 25$ as i pretty well know i would sold it for 0.25 bitcoins !
That's clearly extortion/blackmail
extortion was about a coin : genesis #1 ,  not relative to these deleted posts ... scroll a bit in this thread.
Huh

@minifrij: I've captured theymos in my basement and all the mods have to answer to my askings. My plan is to take over the forum, rename it to buttcointalk and to replace all sections with either KnC discussion or ETH/Bitcoin-Ponzi FUD.
Who are you and what have you done with BadBear?

i would like to understand why this post have been deleted:
Quote from: Bitcoin Forum

Oh, I reported this one. I reported it because you did nothing to change the previous, quoted post but make some text red and blue, making it a useless post. You could have done the same thing with an edit.
1037  Other / Meta / Re: Q: Should Lauda *really* be a moderator of bitcointalk A: no on: July 17, 2016, 08:42:01 PM
extortion was about a coin : genesis #1 ,  not relative to these deleted posts ... scroll a bit in this thread.
So this is irrelevant to the extortion?

the reports ( abusives) are made by Lutpin , wich work with Lauda beind the scene , against me .
You do understand that Lauda did not delete your posts, as that is impossible, right? And that reports have to be approved by a moderator of the section before anything happens to them, so even if Lutpin did report them the reports were correct and breaking some sort of rule?
What point are you trying to make here, on this thread about Lauda? That you're unhappy a moderator, that isn't Lauda, deleted your post?
1038  Other / Meta / Re: Q: Should Lauda *really* be a moderator of bitcointalk A: no on: July 17, 2016, 08:33:49 PM
i know you do that for Lauda ,  the goal is only to having me banned ... that's the goal ..

Come on man, you're better than this. You can surely understand that, due to the way moderation works around here, there is no way that Lauda could have deleted your posts to "extort" you. Unless there is a bigger conspiracy at hand that the mods don't want us to know about. Roll Eyes
1039  Other / Meta / Re: Trust system is abused. on: July 16, 2016, 01:48:20 AM
Oh yeah, you're right.  I apologize.  I worded myself incorrectly.  By change,  I meant make it neutral or lower in that sense.
I apologize.
http://archive.is/mohqY
But still,  I was on the right path.  What I meant was to inform people that the moderators can do something about a rating if you just plead your case like this person did. Indicating that ratings are indeed monitored.
Congratulations. You have successfully proved that moderators, just like any other user here, can change their own trust ratings to neutral/negative.
AFAIK, the trust rating that BadBear removed was one that BadBear himself added to the user. Someone can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
