181  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Joinmarket - Coinjoin that people will actually use on: June 07, 2015, 02:07:08 PM
It seems the IRC server went down a few minutes ago - or is it just for me?  Note, though, that I can neither connect from JoinMarket with nor without Tor, and also not from my ordinary IRC client (with Tor) anymore.
Is cyberguerrilla IRC network composed by only one IRC server?
Code:
:irc.cgan 251 foo :There are 2 users and 116 invisible on 4 servers
:irc.cgan 252 foo 28 :operator(s) online
:irc.cgan 254 foo 61 :channels formed
:irc.cgan 255 foo :I have 65 clients and 2 servers
:irc.cgan 265 foo :Current Local Users: 65  Max: 202
:irc.cgan 266 foo :Current Global Users: 118  Max: 253
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [announce] Namecoin - a distributed naming system based on Bitcoin on: June 05, 2015, 03:12:08 PM
Namecoin is a part of top20 altcoin index Coinoindex.com

The index includes top 20 alternative cryptocurrencies with largest capitalization and tracks the value of the portfolio (in BTC) in which each coin has a 5% share.
The index was created to be an analogue of Dow-Jones or S&P indexes for the altcoins arena.

Rules of index composition:
- Coin should be traded at at least three exchanges, with cumulative daily volume above $1,000 for last 14 days
- Coins that track a value of a certain asset (USD, CNY etc) cannot be included.
- Each coin in included in the portfolio with the same weight.

You can invest in the index by using NXT Asset Exchange, NXT Asset ID 13634675574519917918

Asset tracks the index value, and constant buy/sell liquidity is maintained.
You can invest using NXT cryptocurrency (you can exchange BTC to NXT directly in the NXT client from http://multigateway.org/ or at http://coinomat.com) or BTC at https://trade.secureae.com/

I've got a stuck withdrawal on crypsy since may the 29th, are we back to square 1 with wallet issues?

Did they give you a tx ID that you cannot see on the blockchain with any block explorer?

exactly that. wrote 3 email to support, still stuck

Im also waiting for my withdrawal from cryptsy.. Same problem.
I hope that they get it sorted out soon
they werent capable the last time, why should they now be able to handle it?
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ZET] Zetacoin - SHA256 coin - Quick confirmations - 0.9.2.4 on: June 04, 2015, 02:43:40 PM
Forgot about darkgamex, thanks!
Good to see it being used/needed Smiley

Hey, thanks for the service, I use your explorers for NMC and ZET stats.
They can get stuck from time to time though, anything you could do to fix this? Wink
Seems those daemon died... will fix it. tough i will move my abe to another server sometime in the future, so there will be a downtime for 1-2 days max.

Testnet3 is discontiued, as it no longer works...
186  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: June 03, 2015, 11:26:46 AM
Are you planing to support Linux (Smart)Phones? Ubuntu Touch for example. There are others too...

It would be wiser to support Windows (phone). Microsoft is now concentrating on mobile platforms and say also say that future OS would have the ability to run android apps on windows phones.
Also the fact that windows phones currently lack of decent bitcoin wallets I believe that Mycelium could easily lead the windows market.
M$ Phones are not security/privacy acceptable, so not an option.
187  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANNOUNCE] Abe 0.7: Open Source Block Explorer Knockoff on: June 03, 2015, 06:55:25 AM
This is a fantastic asset to the crypto coin community. I was able to get my instance of ABE up and running, but was wondering how I would go about getting Apache to redirect requests for the root directory directly to a specific chain, instead of showing the "chains" screen. This is how https://blockexplorer.com/ does it, the main screen is actually /chain/Bitcoin behind the scenes. I tried various combinations of AliasMatch and Rewrite rules similar to:

Code:

Alias /favicon.ico /home/alfer/abe/Abe/htdocs/favicon.ico
Alias / /usr/lib/cgi-bin/abe.fcgi/
AliasMatch ^/(.*) /usr/lib/cgi-bin/abe.fcgi/chain/Bitcoin/$1
Alias / /usr/lib/cgi-bin/abe.fcgi/chain/Bitcoin

but havent been able to get it working. It seems to be the way the various handler functions use wsgiref.util.shift_path_info(page['env']) to determine what to display. Has anyone been able to figure out how to accomplish this?
blockexplorer.com is NOT running abe. so no, they dont do that.
why bother?

It looks like I didn't receive any earnings (file custodian, marketing) for Round 46 either.

Is there any database to see this easily again, so we can see what the amounts are for? I'd like to see if mine are credited properly but the old site is down now.

193  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 1,000,000 address generator - random keys from galactic radio noise on: May 18, 2015, 03:34:38 PM

We built special receivers to collect atmospheric noise and cosmic radio noise from center of our galaxy
and use this data to generate random Bitcoin private keys. We can deliver up to 1,000,000 address.

http://www.eaglebit.biz/p/million-keys-generator.html

Deliverable in csv. format, .zip archive protected with password, to your email address

Suported coins:
Bitcoin
Litecoin
Dogecoin
Dash (Darkcoin)

Available packages:
10,000 private keys -  price 0.005 BTC
100,000 private keys - price 0.04 BTC
1,000,000 private keys - price 0.3 BTC

For more info visit:
http://www.eaglebit.biz/p/million-keys-generator.html

1) You have the privkey, this is a NO-GO.
2) atmospheric noise is NOT random, you would have to extract entropy (i doubt you even know what that is).
3) vanitygen can create almost free (electricity for some seconds of computing) keys, more than you ever be able to deliver.
4) do you really think people are THAT stupid? scam overall.

enjoy another -1 rating
194  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Should we just remove the wallet function of Bitcoin Core on: May 18, 2015, 01:00:47 PM
Education is better than enforcement. Or placing fake limits.

If 1000 people use Bitcoin Core without an incident every day, let's educate the 1 or 10 that need to avoid the problem.

HD wallets are good, easy to use, have a purpose. I'd say that Non-HD also have its place. Let people learn about both and choose.

Or the next suggestion will be to have a "master-key" to revert transactions because a victim in China sent 10BTC to a scammer, and we need to "protect" them right?
You just forgot one thing: Sheeple dont want to think for them self.

196  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Joinmarket - Coinjoin that people will actually use on: May 11, 2015, 08:18:28 AM
Two questions:

1) Is there a way for potential "takers" to find out which UTXO entries the makers are offering?  (E. g., by starting a join?)  If there is, isn't that a huge privacy problem, since you can determine which UTXO's are from makers and thus deanonymise past transactions they were part of?  If not, I must have misunderstood how the system works (since in my understanding, the taker builds the tx and thus needs a way to get maker UTXO's).

2) If I want to run a yield generator (i. e., maker bot), do I need to accept incoming transactions or is it also possible behind a firewall / NAT?
2) You mean incoming connections not transactions, right? No you dont, the communication is done with IRC, which works behind NAT/firewalled. you only need to be able to connect to snookernet IRC.
197  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Joinmarket - Coinjoin that people will actually use on: May 08, 2015, 05:53:42 AM
This is a great project, thanks!

Do you/we need more testnet3 or/and mainnet yield bots?
Mainnet would be set as following?
Code:
network = mainnet
