181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you were Satoshi Nakamoto, what would you do? on: April 24, 2024, 08:33:47 PM
you have to consider the consequences when you answer yes to revealing yourself. remember that all criminals including the government will want to get much from satoshi's wallet.

the criminal will kidnap everyone from your bro and sisi and your sons and daughters including your nana threatening to sell their cochie on the black-market if you don't send 1M BTC as ransom. and the government will also surround your house with the IRS agent and then compute everything from unrealized gains to profits.  Grin
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The rate of abandoned projects on solana on: April 24, 2024, 07:59:35 PM
and this is why SOL is rising compared to the other projects that are verifying their developers. Solana is just taking part in these scams that want to take money from investors, this is also happening in ETH during the ICOs.

the bear market hasn't started yet but they are already abandoning projects, how much more will they abandon when the bear market is already here? all the memecoins probably will die before the exchanges can even dump their own holdings.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: World Of Crypto Has Changed in Last 6 Years. on: April 24, 2024, 07:47:21 PM
just figure i share thoughts on crypto world, it sure has changed in last 6 years, where it used to be the free market and we could do as we please, with trades, buying and selling crypto

now its so different now

as the governments in the world have gotten involved and trying to make it harder in crypto
as in if you need to trade out to fiat ,

u have to pay taxes and lots of it
Governments are cracking down on exchanges and regulations etc.

in one way it does prove crypto has value and here to stay
There is more adoption going on. Slowly but it is happening,.

Do you think all this will make people to drop out of crypto and leave it to the people who have high wealth only?

Or will the average person still stay in the markets?

but its too bad that the powers that be are making it difficult

ur thoughts?

It's a symbol of growth! Whenever the common people have done something extraordinary, governments always came sniffing in to get their cut. That's exactly happening in the crypto world as well. Initially no government had thought that crypto can indeed become so valuable. But when they did, governments around the world, are now trying to get their cut from our income. That's always happens!

But I am more concerned about deep-pocket corporates getting into this market. If commoners stop going into this market, that will be for these corporates and not for the governments asking to pay tax. Corporates know how to take control over anything and that dirty game will be attempted in the crypto market as well.

they will take over the market and all the prices of the coins listed in the cmc will go way higher so commoners will have no chance of buying one because what commoners can afford is just memecoins. this is why as of this time, they are putting it in the minds of the GenZ that what matters in the world of crypto is memecoins. forget BTC, it's nonsense and it's regulated and the fee is ridiculous.

yes its true crypto has changed over time. we are now, KYCed completely.

184  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance founder should be jailed for 36 months, US prosecutors say on: April 24, 2024, 07:12:49 PM

this 50m is apart from that $4B. lol how could he see himself giggling another day. that's just one case. it will pile up when they find out more. and if CZ has to get out he needs to trade something to the court.

so why is this case different from that laundering criminal case in which he paid the fine of $4B and this pleading guilty which is going to pay $50m and then jail time as well?  if he only knew it would end up this way, calling for that Hoover Max Extract Pressure-Pro, model sixty will be a better option.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Toncoin on: April 24, 2024, 05:27:39 PM

hard to buy TON since its not in Binance. an investor has to move to another exchange to buy it but it think its worth submitting KYC if you trade the TON. i am trying to trade Ton in the toonkeeper swap actually, seems worth it already is the fluctuation is this hug. from $7 down to $5.7 i guess accumulating this way is a better option than in bitget. i'm still waiting for it to be available in binance.
186  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How possible can a forum memeber visiting foreign local board here? on: April 23, 2024, 09:07:55 PM

hope that is not a violation though. there are translate to English add-ons in our browsers these days.

the Nigerian local board writes their text in English which most probably everyone here had once tried replying. if they were just writing their local language or Fench i think we would not try to reply to their threads. and also they have interesting topics especially because a lot is going on in that country related to cryptocurrency. most of the time, we can relate.
187  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Implications of War on Individuals on: April 23, 2024, 08:39:17 PM

what is crazy is that they voted billions to support Ukraine while it keeps losing. they are planning to send nukes to Poland.
they have been dragging Poland into this war already of course they have been telling Putin is going to invade all, but they are also giving him reason to do it like putting nukes in that country.

What is the economic impacts on individuals with families and how do I sustain them during war period.
The economic value of commodities will go up and the individuals will feel the heat more than the economy of the country and the most important  will be the life of individuals, and during war you hardly have access to commodities or even physical cash and things that are important during war is the safety of the people.

The simplest definition of war is a simple dispute between two countries that results in violence. It is never a pleasant experience or sight to behold. When a war breaks out, a lot of lives are lost, people go missing, children starve to death, businesses cease, and the nation is thrown into complete disarray. According to a little story, our grandparents told us, the only way to escape is to hide underground. The poor suffer the most during a war because they are unable to relocate to other safe places, cannot afford to stockpile food, lack access to healthcare, and lack guidance from security personnel. Meanwhile, the rich try their hardest to save their lives by utilizing their resources. War is the worst kind of conflict.
Even if war is dispute why cant they just settle it before taking people lives at risk, is not worth declaring anything on anyone, because if you see what people go through during war, mentally then the life's lost is not something anyone will want to experience, the sight of see dead bodies everywhere, you wont even think of the economy, the recure team during wars are trying during wars, yeah during war it is always difficult to navigate so the only people that its easy for are does that actually have money, but the government will also try their best to relocate people to a safe place.

they shouldn't start a war in the first place. but because it's just that sometimes there is the need to do it because of the country's security. if one country is just going to mind its own business and not tangled with border issues. settle these issues before they get worse then, there won't be any wars. but because they ask superpowers to back them.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Worldcoin? on: April 23, 2024, 07:05:18 PM

they were news about this coin being distributed in malls to those who permitted the silver ball to scan their eyeballs. i would certainly run away from this project it seems too futuristic that getting personal data of someone through the eyes is just too Black Mirror for me. whatever they do to those data, is not really worth supporting this project.

but right now, it poses to be attractive for investors and if they giveaway again through scanning your eyes, people will really go for it. It's scary shit.

They ran an airdrop campaign before listing on Binance for a month. These campaigns were being run in malls and other places where they can get hold of the youth. I don't remember how many tokes were airdropped but to get those token you were asked scan your iris by placing your head into the silver ball. That silver ball is called orb and it happened last year in the month of August.

yes, that orb. lots of videos of it on youtube. one man said "this is a WEF mall" when he found it in a corner of a mall.

sounds like a magical ball from the Battle Realms saga. the youngsters don't even know what those iris scans are for. who knows what they'd do with it, maybe they will just wake up one day and be hypnotized already walking dead. eyes are not called the windows of our souls for nothing.
all for a few tokens they already sold their souls, for all we know Sam Altmann will feed their souls to Ammit the Devourer. Grin

189  Economy / Economics / Re: Food shortages coming to the United Kingdom, BUT - on: April 23, 2024, 05:53:27 PM
The food and energy crisis has been going on for 4-5 years and it is getting deeper day by day, and some countries are feeling this scarcity more due to inflation. There is too much money in circulation and not enough support is given by the states for food production. Unless support is given, farmers will not do their job, in fact they will not be able to do it because they cannot make a proper profit. They are also talking about water scarcity in the future. I don't know how or when this will happen, but water scarcity is a bigger problem than food. It's interesting that you mentioned that this scarcity is artificial and an illusion, I liked this aspect as well.

there are times it would sound just an illusion because its just the government doing it and media is exaggerating the report.  governments like OPEC lessen their production rate.

food shortage could be real since the farmers are revolting. they could just be producing wheat and meat by now but only for their own consumption which is more problematic since they are just the ones going to be eating. that water scarcity is more of an illusion since we are surrounded by water. they say 90% of the world is water.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only1 has raised $5 million to build an OnlyFans clone on Solana on: April 23, 2024, 04:16:19 PM
Adult projects like this once existed when the trend was ICO, the name of the coin if I'm not mistaken is spankcoin and I don't know for sure whether it has survived so far, but what I learned was when there was a cryptocurrency-based project whose type of project was a development of something that already existed before in the real world, crypto-based ones usually don't last long, either because the developers don't have the skills or a good strategy to keep making the project develop better or because basically we prefer conventional things.
If this coin also holds promotions on this forum, such as bounties or signature campaigns, it looks like it will be successful because spankcoin makes bounty participants get big profits.

when old projects are revived with another name and at the same time revived in time when the market is about to go full throttle to bull market, you know its time also to rugpull once again. there are so many projects like this afaik

i encountered one like the sexcoin for women just interested cam2cam video and users just send them sexcoin. i don't know what happen to that coin anymore but when project like this is coming back again, the wild bull run is about to begin.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are more people getting excited about memecoins? on: April 22, 2024, 08:38:53 PM

we are not talking simsol actually, it is just you OP who promoted that memecoin here.

but its true memecoin is just sweeping the market and its stealing the BTC of users who are trying to buy these memecoins through their BTC hoping to make quick bucks. all these memecoins will soon have a price of $0.00000000000000001 but they will still be holding it hoping it will have a bull run moment.
192  Economy / Economics / Re: Food shortages coming to the United Kingdom, BUT - on: April 22, 2024, 07:34:11 PM
why is the government of all industries to mess up the farmers who feed us all? afaik they ban fertilizers as well.

people not eating enough will all be hot-tempered. people today are very dependent on the food in cans, we don't even know how to catch fish so when people get hungry, they steal food. it's not good for leaders to rule a country full of hungry men because everyone will just be looting supermarkets.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only1 has raised $5 million to build an OnlyFans clone on Solana on: April 22, 2024, 06:20:23 PM
so there is another platform that onlyfans will be competing. onlyfans is a big business and 20% is too huge for those naked celebrities to give to the platform. but don't they feel like the futuristic pimp?

on the other hand, how will the fans be assured this Newman Group or the Solana chain will not gradually take a huge chunk of their money? or worse lock their funds in the chain? this is still a centralized platform.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Worldcoin? on: April 22, 2024, 05:34:29 PM

195  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Selling BTC for foreign currencies on: April 22, 2024, 04:54:49 PM
why don't you buy the local currency before going to the country of destination?  airports usually have a foreign currency booth for travelers, it's the safest thing you can do and you need the local currency just when you arrive at the airport. it's best if you know an expat, your fellow countrymen for a guide.

you don't wanna go there unprepared or meet up with someone to trade to local fiat, it's going to be the riskiest attempt. you might wanna visit the local forum of the country.

Oh yeah. Forgot about that. If I can't find a safe way to buy foreign currencies without KYC, I'll have no choice but to do as you've told me. It would be an option of a last resort, though. I don't think selling BTC for foreign currencies would be considered "illegal", but I'll ask my laywer just to be safe.

Another option I've been exploring is Forex trading with BTC. But that's more in the investing side than anything else (like using foreign currencies as real money in a foreign country). Perhaps, it will be much easier to get access to foreign currencies once the world switches to CBDCs. Our society advances quickly, so who knows? Cheesy

CBDC i guess will make it easy for anyone to switch currencies as all are digital and swapping currencies will just be a click away.

i have traveled to a country that i have no idea myself, just going to experience it because of the vlogs i see on youtube. currency was the biggest problem i had that's why just in the airport, i already bought their currency regardless of the rates. just bear in mind that there are scammers everywhere especially when you are a stranger in a country.

not an expert as i have not traveled to countless countries but don't mention BTC. scammers know their money and they know how BTC works.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone is celebrating about the fourth halving but what is this? on: April 21, 2024, 07:28:05 PM

sooner they will just create a celebration for the sake of creating images on the block. maybe on the pizza day, they will upload pizza images too, and then the fees will also bloat just this like.

we will get used to this if they do this every day just like the Google banner that changes every day, today is Earth Day 2024.  the miners of course will like this and i think this will force users to move to altcoins.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's in For Altcoins after the Halving? on: April 21, 2024, 06:14:00 PM
It has been a good ride for Bitcoin before then halving and now that it is done with, the momentum seems to have gone down, and as we all know, after the Bitcoin Rally, altcoins react to it. Do you think the rally of altcoins will start now or we should continue with our trades like nothing happened?

continue with our trades like nothing happened. that's just it. you can never force something else to happen but pray harder for altcoin season to start.
i actually thought this high transaction fee would ignite something since it prevents the small timers from using BTC due to the fees. BTC also stops pumpin. but like they always say, it will take a few weeks to months before the halving effect will take place.

if your coins are in the exchange. you're lucky you don't have to send them to an exchange to start trading.

198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge day!!. Expectations??? on: April 21, 2024, 05:08:05 PM
it's the first time i heard of doge day. been a fan for a long time. i never saw the community celebrate anything of that but this is bitget idea trying to celebrate doge day along with BTC halving. $3000 worth of doge is fun though.

if in the halving day BTC will rise, the rest of the altcoins will also go up. $0.18 is still the resistance line. this could be where the price struggles to climb.

Though the Bitget event is commendable, Dogeday is celebrated by the community actually. Just search for Dogeday on twitter and you'll see RT about it. Fvg is in that are. 0.18-0.19. let's see if Doge will clear that. I'm anticipating

i found it. i was just not invited to any of the dogeday celebrations before. if i just found out a long time ago i would have crashed. after learning about the doge CEO who sold everything, i didn't visit their ANN thread anymore. i'm a doge holder though. so happy #dogeday!  it must have been celebrated more on twitter and not here.

as a doge holder, i think i would expect the celebration should make the price go up ?
199  Economy / Economics / Re: Young people are less likely to accept traditional employments in this era! on: April 21, 2024, 04:40:34 PM
paying memecoins to those who will help cultivate a rise farm. will probably make them come running to sign up and work to farm a land. they are so fond of posting photos of likes, working on rice fields and memecoins to show to their IG will definitely get them more likes which will motivate the GenZ.

the newer generations wants to work while having fun though, its what was being fed to them by a philosopher saying work where your heart is. so maybe allowing the younger generations to watch youtube shorts while in the assembly lines will motivate them to go outside and find this kind of employer.
200  Local / India / Re: Binance Exchange is coming back to India. on: April 20, 2024, 08:23:28 PM
I feel after agreeing to the terms and conditions of the Indian government they will lose users. Already there is a lot of issues with Binance P2P service for India. Bank account freeze are quite common when using the P2P service and now after agreeing to Indian government policies they will lose users who were using the exchange for saving tax. I think most of us were using international exchanges for only one purpose and that was tax saving. I feel rather than making money from India they will lose money

I have different point of view, if new investors are entering into the market then probably their first choice will be trading or atleast buying from Binance which is inevitable that increases the liquidity for sure. But in my opinion still trading on the p2p like Paxful seems to be the best option even though we have to pay 1% trading fee we can find deals that covers the fee and in total we can nullify trading cost but as said day trading is no more profitable if 1% TDS is in place.

Why would a new investor register on Binance when he knows taxation would be like a local exchange. Anyways you have a point that can be only verified after a few months. Another important aspect of crypto is that most new investors join this business only when they hear good outcomes from this industry through a friend or a family. They will be informed about the tax structure and they will know how to find a loophole. Earlier they used Binance as it was an easy way to hide 1% TDS now it will not be the recommended exchange. I am not against tax but I think 1 % TDS is not justified.

still the government is giving your people a good chance to use the good exchange where there are plenty of users and high liquidity. as long as binance will pay for the operation in your country, i think this is a piece of good news for all.

the tax issue is within your government. all governments today i think is looking for ways to make money and they may just find the big spender. afaik, that $2M is not yet final, i think they could squeeze more from binance as they are willing to comply.
