181  Other / Meta / Re: Plagiarism: Where Do We Draw the Line? on: July 22, 2021, 04:01:20 PM
It is very important that plagiarism is avoided as much as possible here in the forum may it be accidental or intentional. It does not only destroy your reputation in the forum hence you are also stealing illegally an intellectual property of someone. Even though you are just rephrasing their idea, you should still give credits or citation on what you are getting. I think it is very much essential too that you know how to gather and combine the knowledge you getting from many so that you can simply connect it and make it a whole thought and you can avoid plagiarism at the same time as you build a new thought from many.
182  Other / Archival / Re: El Salvadorans are not happy about accepting bitcoin as a means of payment on: July 22, 2021, 03:29:13 PM
We cannot really expect unity so soon from a changed system. We should also take consideration on the type of government El Salvador has wherein it is democratic so it is much expected that the voice of people would matter a lot to the country's current situation. Also, bitcoin is not something everyone is patronizing and supporting, there are many people who are against the legalization of it still as different factors gets considered. Maybe, after a few adjustments and making people see how helpful it could be, standing against the government would not happen again.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will everyone still believe in Elon Musk? on: July 22, 2021, 02:59:53 PM
I think it is hypocritical to scold Musk when he criticizes Bitcoin, and to praise him when he is optimistic about Bitcoin. I think he should take his thoughts and concerns about Bitcoin seriously, because many outsiders have these ideas. But at the same time, people should ignore his flip-flops on Twitter or act like a child. Elon Musk is just a person like everyone else. Stop using Elon Musk as an argument for or against Bitcoin, but actually listen to what he has to say and think about whether you have the answer.

We are not hypocrites, we support Bitcoin. What do you think we are going to do?
Just with the fact that he is obviously not taking cryotocurrency seriously, we have all the reason already to stop believing in him. If it is only about real life business matters, maybe we can rely to what he will be saying since he was able to become one of the top billionaires at the present. Hence, if it is about crypto, there are more reliable and experienced huge individuals we can depend on rather than listening to his shallow concerns about crypto. It would be best if you would find other individuals to listen to than to just stick on Elon Musk just because he has a lot of money and invested lots of it in crypto.
184  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Doctor says mRNA vaccines “will kill most people” through heart failure on: July 21, 2021, 05:45:58 PM
Just like anything we would like to predict in the future, we cannot be certain over any of it. With regards to the vaccine, we cannot be so sure about the long term or sudden detrimental effects it carries. Considering how fast it was made when other vaccines that was made before took 5-10 years to be developed, there is a high probability that at some point soon, the effects will show up and everyone will be left with nothing but regret. I an personally against the vaccine yet the government is doing everything it can to force people to take the vaccine forcibly as they start regulating rules wherein only the vaccinated ones are the only few who will have the permission or advantage.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't give your bitcoins to scammers on: July 21, 2021, 05:23:48 PM
quite surprised that there are still many people who are deceived by the fake giveaway program....even though there's been a lot of news about this kind of fake giveaway, the greedy and stupid ones are still there.

It is easy to determine whether certain event or project is a scam nowadays. Usually, they offer promises that are too good to be true. Nevertheless, we should not still be too complacent about the stupidity of the scammers. There are still some who can manipulate you and deceive you up until they are able to steal your money. Regardless of how shallow and how scams can easily be known, the best way to avoid sudden loss of huge amount of money is through not trusting anyone right away. Scams are still evident in the market and we should always take extra precaution over it.
186  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think COVID19 is a scam? on: July 21, 2021, 04:55:49 PM
There rumors that says it is a biochemical weapon used by the Chinese to take over the world silently while taking away people's lives and wrecking many countries economy. Since it is just a rumor, we cannot be certain about yet if we'll take a look at it logically, maybe it can be true since China was able to recover right away after the pandemic started. Considering the number of deaths caused by the virus, it could also make sense that it is legitimate that it does exist. The pandemic has been going on for so long already and yet some countries are not yet able to take it under control. If ever this is just a scheme to reduce and prevent overpopulation or take advantage of the people's fear, rage will surely come from many as it takes away their living and the lives of their loved ones.
187  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you buy this book for your kids? on: July 21, 2021, 04:35:26 PM
Today I want to order a children's book online. A book called /B is for Bitcoin/ caught my interest, and I searched the author.

The author Graeme Moore, Canadian, born in the 90s, has always been annoyed that he missed the Internet wave, so he paid attention to the blockchain very early. He said: "I have been paying attention to blockchain and Bitcoin for a long time, probably in 2014, and I particularly hope to do something in this field. He is thinking about what else blockchain can do besides cryptocurrency? I was inspired by seeing a one and a half year old niece reading a picture book. I have been thinking about making the book "B is the B of Bitcoin" for a long time, and finally I decided to make it. Because I don't know which projects can be directly compared To contribute to the Bitcoin community, I don’t know how to program to optimize Bitcoin’s core protocol. I can only write this book."

Moore intends to let children learn literacy while learning blockchain related knowledge.

A for apple, replaced by A for Altcoin,
B for banana, replaced by B for Bitcoin,
C for cat, replaced by C for Consensus,
D for dog, replaced by D for Decentralize

In the past, I hesitated whether to tell my child about blockchain, but I decided to give him a brief introduction.
Because blockchain is a technology, its applications will be very extensive in the future, and there is no harm in knowing more about it.

Will you let your children learn about Bitcoin and the concept of decentralization from an early age?

Thank you for providing  the article.
Since it has been like you are mentioning your plans upon teaching your children to learn about the letters of the alphabet and how to read, I think it would be too much already to mention stuffs about crypto. If the simple concept of knowing the letters of the alphabet has not been reached by them yet, just imagine how complicated it would be for them to intake knowledge with regards to crypto. Maybe after they learn how to read and comrehend the things they are reading, you can start slowly explaining to them different things about crypto. At least be considered on the capacity of what they can learn and what they cannot learn yet.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am not investing in Bitcoin, I am staying with Altcoins on: July 21, 2021, 04:10:42 PM
You have all the freedom to choose wherever you want to invest in and no one can stop you from doing that. As long as you speculated and analyzed well the coin you are going to invest to, you can and you should invest on it right away. There's really no need to compare bitcoin to altcoins, we all know how different the levels are for bitcoin compared to altcoins just by taking a look at its achievement. You are saying that bitcoin has become too volatile nowadays hence you should take into your mind that every crypto existing are all volatile and altcoins value follows bitcoin price increase or decrease patterns.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lesson from bear market on: July 21, 2021, 03:49:27 PM
BE PREPARED FOR THE WORST: In this bear market,I have learnt that the worst could happen,so we should always prepare for the worst. Many have lost up to 80% of their portfolio to this bear market because they are not expecting the worst to happen, unfortunately, they are caught up in it.If they had prepare for the worst, they could have done something about their portfolio at the beginning of the bear market.
DECISION BASED ON PAST EXPERIENCE MAY NEVER BE THE RIGHT ONE:It may be risky to base your decision on assumption. At the beginning of this bear market, there was a lot of assumption, many so sure that before we close our eyes and open, bull run will be here.Nobody ever expect the bear market to be this long,so, many decision made base on this assumptions as lead to frustration today.
In crypto, today you are up and tomorrow you are down.
To those caught up in it,you can only hope for the best, don’t give up.

There are a lot of things you can learn from a bear market specially if you were present at the bull market season. One is that nothing lasts forever and it applies to crypto very much since its value is very volatile and there are a lot of things going on that affects is value. Another is that without experiencing sufferings or downfalls, you wouldn't learn to appreciate things you waited for and you strived to achieve. Lastly, patience is indeed a must-have in crypto and it can be seen clearly on those who were able to hold their bitcoin on the bear market up until the bull run.
190  Economy / Economics / Re: Life Insurance and Blockchain on: July 21, 2021, 03:28:35 PM
Collaborating blockchain and life insurance could be a good idea specially for those who are currently investing huge amount of money in crypto. Though it might work out a little different with the usual life insurance we used to have, it can be a place for innovation and it can be much more effective compared to the traditional one. Even though there's still a risk, it can still pay you back in the future once if is not a scam or a fraudulent act. Not everyone can afford getting a life insurance but I think it is necessary specially if you are currently working hard and aiming to make sure you have your future secured.
191  Other / Off-topic / Re: Back from the future on: July 21, 2021, 02:59:05 PM
If there's an electro magnetic wave that takes the whole world back in time to beginning of Bitcoin invention and other cryptocurrencies. Armed with the knowledge you have now as one who is back from the future, how much Bitcoin would you buy for a start, and what other cryptocurrencies would you invest in?

Which mistakes did you formerly make with bitcoin and cryptocurrency that you will not want repeating itself?
If ever I can go back in time together with the knowledge I currently have, I think I would be very careful on the things I will do on that time travel. Surely, your actions would affect the future you will have there as things go differently so if you would be too selfish and too greedy, for sure you'll buy plenty of bitcoin which will soon result into a massive change on bitcoin's success over the years. The obvious mistake I made before was ignoring bitcoin's capabilty and potential as I knew it while its value is still not that high like right now. If only I believed and became patient with it, I'm probably sitting on a lot of money right now.
192  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am a rookie, how to fly higher? on: July 20, 2021, 04:39:37 PM
The notes you've given does not apply for newbies alone, even for other members in the forum should make sure they commit to such reminders. The forum is too vast actually yet that does not give you the right to keep on posting unnecessary or unrelated stuffs on the topics you see. If you really wanna do well in the future, you should exert more effort on everything you do here in the forum. Do not expect anything good if you are not even making yourself more knowledgeable each day you spend here so that both the forum and the members can benefit from your presence.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your expectations for ICOs in 2019? on: July 20, 2021, 04:11:59 PM
What are your expectations for ICOs in 2019?

For no one it is a secret that this year for the ICOs was not the best  Undecided, but what do you think will happen to them by 2019?

Will it improve significantly?
We are at the year 2021 already and your questions might have been anwered already. Nothing good has ever happened with ICOs at the year 2019. ICO's being a trend has been long gone already after all the coins that failed before and after all the issues and rumors it has faced. Way back, ICO is indeed a good way of earning profit since most of it are legitimate and making efforts to be successful. Nowadays, there has been plenty of other ways to earn in crypto already. NFT's are at the top of their game right now specially Axie Infinity that has been making so much noise lately. ICO's are nothing compared to any other ways of gaining profit now.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Cryptocurrency has best future? on: July 20, 2021, 03:43:16 PM
Surely, most of us would mention bitcoin nevertheless, there are still a lot of cryptocurrency out there that has a potential of becoming more successful in the future. First will certainly be Ethereum. No matter how bad things are going on for ETH at the moment, we all know it will still be able to come back strong. BNB is also showing its potential as NFT's listed on it are making great noise right now in the market so surely its price would experience a massive change soon. Though we cannot really predict the future, we can be certain just by seeing these coins recovering each time everybody think it is already hopeless.
195  Economy / Economics / Re: Singapore, the banking industry, and Bitcoin on: July 20, 2021, 03:20:45 PM
Everyone is looking at El Salvador to be “the home” of Bitcoin, but I believe Singapore is better to be the true hub of the Bitcoin industry, with serious players.

Singapore has made a lot of effort on the technological sector. It cannot be said of El Salvador.

Singapore has clean governance, and almost zero corruption. El Salvador’s government structure might be corrupt everywhere from the bottom to the top.

Singapore’s banking industry is what made the country develop into one of the richest countries in the world. It can further develop by embracing the Bitcoin industry.

As you've mentioned the difference between the two countries, we can already see why Singapore didn't initiate on making bitcoin a legal tender. Maybe it could be because the government has a very low corruption record that they do not need the aid of bitcoin on reviving their economy. As for El Salvador, you said there are a lot of corrupt politicians and maybe soon it will show up on how they are planning to use bitcoin as something that might mess up their country's economic state as well as bitcoin's repuation once their plan fails to succeed.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons for newbies loss in bitcoin on: July 20, 2021, 02:54:50 PM
Bitcoin is becoming mainstream these days and top most choice for many investors for making investments and contribute a good portion of their portfolio allocation towards the same but still we see panic sell among these investors making the situations worse for market and for themselves also. So what are the main reason for these sell off ? Later on when they buy at peak and sell off at drop they think btc was not the right option for them but don't realize their mistake. Some common reasons for these are as follows:

1) People think Bitcoin as tool to become rich overnight

The main reason for people investing in bitcoin is that they see btc as tool to become rich overnight and according to them if they would invest $100 or $1000 in bitcoin it would be double or triple within days and when they see their investment going down next step they get nervous and want to safe themselves from any further loss. They see on news and article that btc is up 1200% this year and they think it will keep on rising and when this does not happen they panic sell and start dumping their coins. They need to be atleast have patience and know it will take certain time for btc to jump back.Apple,Microsoft and other shares have not make upto S&P 500 overnight but still bitcoin is keeping the pace very fast.

2) People ignore the volatility factor and past Crashes

Many new investors enter the market in the investment hype and hope for steady rise and ignore the main "Volatility" factor and it is the basic knowledge every investor must have prior investment. The volatility in crypto market is high and prices can fluctuates highly but when it goes down they start panicking and do the same mistake which is biggest mistake. Market have seen many dips and crash like situations but still they tend to ignore it and got nervous. They should see this chart history before any judgement:

When it have witnessed more than 70-80% crash in prices and still managed to rise to this level so why do panic sellers think it is bubble and will burst this time? It has been declared dead hundred times and still trading at $30k so if you underestimate it you will be in loss in future.

3) Whales manipulation and FUD

This is most common technique to create dump like situations in market to gain huge profits from this situation and accumulate more bitcoins at cheap prices. They spend rumours and create FUD in the market to which most of the newbies will get panic and start selling off and exactly same thing happens and the only ones who suffer loss out of this will be panic sellers.

WE ALL NEED TO TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION ALL THE FACTORS BEFORE INVESTING INTO BITCOIN AND HAVE PATIENCE FOR SOME TIME MOST IMPORTANTLY IN THESE DIPS SO THAT IT GET SOME REATAIL SUPPORT.
When it comes to experiencing loss of bitcoin, it does not occur on newbies alone. It also happen even for those who have been here for a long time already. We are all prone from FUD's considering what we went through before with bitcoin and with regards to whales, we cannot really do anything about them, they are huge individuals with massive holdings we cannot even fathom having in our hands. On the part where one experience loss due to the wrong mindset that you can get rich from bitcoin over night, probably newbies are the ones who experiences it the most.
197  Other / Off-topic / Re: It's Take Time to perfect your SKILLS on: July 20, 2021, 02:25:41 PM
There are a lot of different skills a certain individual has and it is their choice each day if they will sharpen it or not. With regards to the skills you have in the forum, there are many ways on how you can enhance it more. You can start by reading and reading and reading. Take in as much information as you can and surely you wouldn't struggle relating or sharing your thoughts on some topics. Next thing can be enhancing your grammar or the way you express your thoughts, this is still important because it enables you to share your ideas as vivid as you can so that many people will understand and learn from you.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Very soon we will see a new wave of market growth!!! on: July 20, 2021, 02:02:02 PM
I believe in the cryptocurrency market and believe in its huge potential. Though now and not the best times in the market. But experienced investors understand that this is only a correction of the market, which is a consequence of the significant growth of the market before!  But I think that many newcomers now need support. I wish us all patience! Soon we will see a new wave of growth, there is very little!!! For those who are quite sad reminded that " those who in 2013 and 2014 believed in the basic cryptocurrency ideas and invested very little in crypto-coins, then, a few years later, became super-rich»
Considering that you have posted this three years ago and a lot of things has already happened all throughout the years, you should be very happy and fortunate right now. Bitcoin and other crypto has grown a lot that it even exceeded everyone's expectation. If ever you were able to hold your bitcoin up until the bull run occured last year, then you must be sitting in piles of profits already. Even though the market is in a crisis right now, I am very certain you will keep on believing on it just like how you believed on it three years ago. You must be aware that there's no other direction bitcoin and other crypto is going but to go higher and higher.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market situation is deteriorating day by day.. on: July 20, 2021, 01:32:05 PM
How are you my friends i hope you are all well. There are two types of people in the market, some big investors and some small investors, Big investors don't care about this situation but it is very sad for small investors. When the market falls sharply, I wonder how the market situation can suddenly do that. I know that market graph charts and news mean a lot, But if you look at them, the market is going in the right condition, then suddenly it starts falling down, for no apparent reason. This shows that the market is taken up by itself and then brought down by itself. I want to know how long this market situation will last, And when will the market start to go up?
When it comes to the changes happening in the market, we cannot really blame it all to the big investors or the whales. If you'll read the news, you will understand why the market is still confusing up until now. Aside from the correction on bitcoin's price that is still going on, big news like the banning crypto mining and having El Salvador making bitcoin a legal tender makes the market more confusing. Nowadays, NFT's are getting more popular and it can open up a door for people to learn more about crypto. No one can really know yet when will the market go up again, we just need to wait and have faith.
200  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is cryptocurrency bullish in the long-term on: July 19, 2021, 10:07:41 PM
There are a lot of cryptocurrency out there right now and most of them are being successful and some are vanishing or ends up as a dead coin. In terms of identifying which crypto can be the most bullish in the long term, it is much important that you always analyze and speculate each top coins in the market if you are longing for a coin that is bullish in the long run. At least see their history also if they were able to be bullish before or not or if they ever experienced being bullish and it lasted for a while. Through that you can identify the coins that are bullish long term.
