Does anyone realistically think that Bitcoin will ever reach $50k? Don't get me wrong, I'd be more than happy if it reach even 1 zillion but...
I've watched it go from .01 to .1 to 1 to 10 to 100 to 1000. I think we can all agree that Bitcoin is far from everywhere, so the next step to 10,000 is almost assured. After that, we're just half a step away from 50k. The odds of that happening are pretty good! Are you sure that the US Dollar will not become extinct before that date? It will be better to measure the value of Bitcoin in gold or some other form of wealth than measuring it in the US Dollar. Let's say that in 2095, 1 BTC will be equal to 1kg of gold. but in 2095 gold may be considered a completely worthless entity....just like sea shells used to be the most valuable traded currency in ancient times.. so maybe in 2095 1 btc will be worth 1 litre of pure water Gold has been around for thousands of years... |
