After a great defense against Barcelona, Galatasaray must be in a better condition now. They can believe in themselves more to eliminate Barcelona too. Because even though there was a huge quality difference, Galatasaray still kept the score as 0-0 until the final moment in Camp Nou. But still, I remember the matchup between Barcelona and Napoli also. Napoli did the same in Camp Nou but Barcelona destroyed them by 4-2 in Italy. And Napoli are a much stronger team than Galatasaray. If we take this into account, Galatasaray could experience really bad things in the rematch.

I agree that Napoli is a better team than Galatasaray but this is a completely different game, and it is difficult to compare these clubs or matches.
Barcelona is the favorite in this match and that is completely clear to everyone.
Galatasaray's only advantage will be their fanatical fans, and their main strategy will probably be on defense again, as in the first game.
This is the only strategy that weaker teams can apply against much stronger teams and sometimes such a strategy is successful.
If Barcelona doesn't score in the first 60-70 minutes, then its players will become nervous and then the chances of the Turks to surprise increase.

1822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 13, 2022, 12:29:54 PM
The Premier League board has disqualified Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich as a director at the English top-flight club, the league said in a statement on Saturday.

Now it will be very interesting to see how this decision will affect the game and the results of Chelsea in the English league and in the Champions League.
I read somewhere that they will now have a very limited budget for travel expenses, salaries and other expenses.
It has even become questionable whether they will have enough money to continue competing in the Champions League.
This will now be a very difficult situation for the club and its players and fans.
Can Chelsea in these circumstances be equal to the competition in the Champions League and the national league?
The end of this season will probably be followed by a big sale of the team.

Previously Roman Abramovich had said that the proceeds from the sale would go entirely to the victims of the war in Ukraine, but after that the British government made a very unfair decision for Chelsea by freezing all income. In fact, Roman Abramovich himself will not receive money from the sale, but why does the British government seem to strongly condemn Chelsea from the war that took place there. It was a very unfair decision because Chelsea is only a football club and not a supplier of weapons, such a decision will certainly greatly disrupt Chelsea's future performance in both the EPL and UCL.
I feel the Uk government are somewhat harsh on Chelsea FC, this seem to be beyond Roman Abramovich right now as person. The club has staffs, they can seize the club till they have a buyer to purchase it but they should allow the club run as it should. It is becoming boring to see how they are literally destabilizing  that club day after day with the stiff laws/sanctions.

All clubs in any competition should have equal conditions, otherwise the question of the regularity of the competition may be raised.
I don't think it's good to mix politics and sports and that Chelsea should be allowed to compete normally in the English Championship and the Champions League, regardless of their current owner.
Chelsea players and fans deserve the same treatment and chance for sporting success as all other clubs.
I think the UK government has gone too far here.
They punished not only the owner of the club but also all employees, players and fans of the club what is not sustainable and fair.

1823  Other / Meta / Re: @Theymos @Cyrus Please give me another chance ? [after 3 years] on: March 13, 2022, 12:17:39 PM
Seeing that people are now getting temp bans or no bans at all after committing plagiarism, I think you deserve another chance. Normally I don't support these appeals but if the mods are going soft on other plagiarists, why shouldn't you get the same treatment? 3 years is a lot... You learned your lesson probably.

That is something that is not quite clear to me.
Have the rules on the forum really changed and for plagiarism you no longer get permaban?
If so, then the admins should make it public.
But in that case, it seems to me that the criteria for getting permaban have changed, which is probably not very fair for those who were expelled from the forum in previous years due to stricter criteria.
Instead of further speculation I would like a clear answer from the admins on this very sensitive issue.
But if the rules for permaban have really changed, officially or unofficially, I think we can expect a lot requests for unban in the near future and I’m not sure the admins wants to deal with that.
1824  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what you must know before investing into crypto currency on: March 13, 2022, 12:00:05 PM
Before making any investment, it is necessary to have some knowledge about the market and how to analyze the market.
It is always important not to invest emotionally but rationally, with a clear investment strategy and it is always important to have an exit strategy.
Investing should be understood as a very serious business and not as a leisure hobby.
The most important thing is to be patient and not expect quick results.
If you don't know anything about the crypto market, don't invest because you risk losing everything due to your haste and ignorance.
1825  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What happened to my motivation on: March 13, 2022, 11:51:09 AM
Losing it all in one bad move sounds like you put all your eggs in one basket, even if it's trading or buying coins you need to use the perfect amount that you are willing to throw away, sorry for your loss.
Many people don't understand that investment and more especially trading is risk, if really a newbie want to venture into cryptocurrency investment, the person should be able to understand the criteria or the disadvantages of cryptocurrency investment first, one thing i notice in freshers investment, is that they like to go in into investment without understanding the concept or the implications, so they just want to make huge profit to satisfy their objective.

I can completely agree with this.
Unlike traditional investing, where it is very difficult for ordinary people to invest directly, in cryptocurrencies and trading can be invested by virtually anyone with internet access and at least some money to invest.
Most investors are very young and without any experience and often approach investing and trading very emotionally, instead of rationally planning their investment and have a clear investment strategy and exit strategy.
We all know that the crypto market is very changeable with frequent ups and downs and that is why it is important not to be overwhelmed by to emotions but to make rational decisions.
It's very important to analyze the market and understand the basic techniques of analysis, otherwise trading comes down to luck, and luck is not a good ally.
It's possible to make big money in the crypto market, but it should be understood as a job and you should be well prepared.

Transfer rumours:

Manchester City have a deal in place to sign Borussia Dortmund and Norway striker Erling Braut Haaland, 21. If this news is correct, then the final decision on Haaland has been made.
Manchester United hope to name their new permanent manager by the end of April. Shouldn’t the current coach have stayed until the end of the season? Who will succeed him?
Paris St-Germain are set to sack manager Mauricio Pochettino but it is unclear whether they will do it now or wait until the end of the season. Expected news given the repeated failure to win the Champions League. Who will succeed him?
Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, 29, has no intention of signing the contract extension offered to him by the club in December. The Egypt international is out of contract in 2023 but talks are currently at a standstill. Does Salah seem to want a new career challenge? Real?
Juventus are looking into the possibility of signing 29-year-old Germany defender Antonio Rudiger, whose contract at Chelsea runs out in the summer. Juventus are also monitoring the future of Paris St-Germain and Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, 23. Realistic options for Juve?
Tottenham manager Antonio Conte says he would consider extending his contract if the club shows "good vision". Does a good vision for him mean spending more money on new players of his choice?  Grin

1827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: March 12, 2022, 03:07:00 PM
Anyone see Murrays match against Taro? I was following the score on and off
on my phone and after the first set to Taro 1-6 I thought Murray was on his way
out but he took the second set 6-2 and the third 6-4 so good win after a reset
from the first set.

Murray is not what he was 10 years ago and how he plays he cannot win any tournament. He is struggling against low ranked players such as Taro Daniel. Plus Murray always plays more then 2 sets and this is a serious problem in the upcoming rounds of every tournament. Lets see how far he can go in Indian Wells

I don’t think it’s realistic anymore to expect some great tennis results from Murray.
His tennis peak is long gone and I think he is aware of that too.
I also believe that he does not have any financial problems, so the only thing left is probably the desire to enjoy tennis without too much personal expectations.
And before retiring to a well-deserved tennis retirement, Murray can once again show his greatness and help children, victims of the war in Ukraine.

I was mesmerized by Galatasaray's great defensive performance against Barcelona. It really ended in a 0-0 draw and it made me very surprised. However, I don't think that Galatasaray can eliminate Barcelona. We all know how much capable Barcelona players are and they can play completely different in the rematch. Galatasaray will need to have a counter-attack game plan to have a chance I think. If they play an attacking football also, then they would leave big spaces to Barcelona which would make things easier for them.

Galatasaray has to play a defensive game as it does in other matches. To be honest, the reason why Galatasaray drew was more luck than success in defense. The goalkeeper played very well, but I think the defense could have been better, they found scoring chances almost every minute. Barcelona players played thinking that the opponent was weak and did not perform fully. It won't be like that in the next match, we'll lose if we give it that many chances Smiley

Galatasaray will definitely be a very difficult and uncomfortable opponent for Barcelona at home, with the fanatical support of their fans.
Already in the first game, Barcelona missed a great opportunity to decide on the passage to the next round of the competition and will now have to work much harder for the final victory.
I don’t believe the Barcelona players underestimated the Turks but they didn’t have enough luck and concentration to win.
Barcelona is still the big favorite for the overall win but Galatasaray now also has a chance.
The key question will be whether Galatasaray's defense can hold out until the end of the game without conceding a goal.

He also responded to hilariousetc and said he wasn't part of any bounty campaign when he got banned. If he wasn't wearing a sig, the plagiarism wasn't financially motivated. He has served a 3 year sentence already. Maybe the admins should consider bringing him back. But it's a difficult decision to make because if you bring back one user, dozens of others will request the same.

No one wants to open Pandora's box and set a precedent, although we all know that a number of people got a second chance, but probably not something like this where the OP is looking for something, and honestly doesn't have the support of more members. The question is how many banned people actually visit the forum, and how many would ask for the same thing as the OP - it seems to me that there may be isolated cases, but certainly not dozens of members would appear and ask for pardon.

I think there should be an option that would allow the banned member to return after x years with a permanent ban on signature and avatar.

Following the RegulusHr case, I would agree with your suggestion.
It was obvious that the forum community wanted RegulusHr back on the forum, but there was no reaction from the admin for 2 years.
There were a few exceptions before that, when permaban was abolished but without clear criteria, and which left room for speculations.
Given that the permaban rule has not been so strict for a long time, and there are already too many exceptions, it might be a good idea for administrators to declare clear rules for abolishing permaban.
1831  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: reason why people fall victims of scammers everyday especially on social media on: March 12, 2022, 02:25:37 PM
I would add a few more reasons here and these are despair and lack of knowledge and experience with money and finances.
Despair and financial problems can push a normal person into a financial abyss and force him to seek a solution from scammers.
Crypto is a new and unexplored area for most people and that makes it easier to deceive them.
Lately in the media and on social networks there are a lot of stories about people who got rich on the crypto and ordinary people begin to believe that anyone can do it, and then they want to invest in the crypto without thinking about the consequences and possible dangers.
Emotions, greed and despair are not very good allies.
1832  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What happened to my motivation on: March 12, 2022, 02:17:05 PM
Mr.right85, I really understand how you feel because I've been through it all in my life.
In 20 years, there is no opportunity on the Internet to make money that I have not tried, and I have mostly lost money everywhere.
I even started a few businesses offline, started firms that also failed.
It is very difficult after all these failed attempts to keep faith in yourself and your abilities, be motivated and move on.
You need to have inner strength and confidence, and never give up.
Crypto offers a lot of opportunities for financial freedom, but it is necessary to analyze all the information well and make good long-term decisions, with a clear exit strategy.
I have divided my portfolio into crypto investments and business start-up investments because I believe that diversification into different asset classes is the most cost-effective strategy in the long run.
Still, patience and long-term planning are the most important here. Good luck with your investments!

It was a fantastic 4 weeks with all of you guys. I got confirmation that Thunderpick wants 4 more weeks but the invoice I sent is yet to be paid. We will live the campaign once I get funds in my hand. For now, the campaign is closed.
You are free to remove the signature. All of you guys will have priority when we get live (if you apply of course).

U zadnje vrijeme, većina novootvorenih kampanja traje dosta kratko.
To se čini kao neki novi trend na ovom forumu.
Čini se da se kampanje na ovom forumu više ne isplate kao nekad, ili mi se to samo čini  Grin

Transfer rumours:

Manchester United's Portugal striker Cristiano Ronaldo, 37, will target a move to Paris St-Germain - which could see him link up with Argentina forward Lionel Messi - if United fail to qualify for next season's Champions League. It seems to me that his peak has passed and that PSG today could not benefit much from Ronaldo, except for marketing earnings.
Arsenal, Newcastle and West Ham are monitoring 24-year-old England forward Marcus Rashford, who is believed to be considering his future at Manchester United. A lot of clubs are waiting for his decision but what Rashford will decide in the end?
Manchester City and Real Madrid are the two frontrunners to sign Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland despite interest from Bayern Munich and Barcelona. The 21-year-old Norway striker's future is expected to be decided in the "next few weeks". So, Barcelona and other clubs dropped out and only 1 dilemma remained: Madrid or Manchester? What Haaland will decide?
Newcastle have opened talks with Real Madrid over a move for Belgium playmaker Eden Hazard, 31, who is expected to leave in the summer. Honestly, I’m not sure how much Hazard can help them?
England striker Harry Kane, 28, needs to leave Tottenham if he wants to challenge for football's major trophies, according to former Spurs and Manchester United forward Teddy Sheringham. The main question is whether Kane will really leave?

Latest tennis news:

''World number three Alexander Zverev faces an eight-week ban from tennis if he repeats the behaviour which led to his expulsion from the Mexican Open.''
''In February, the Olympic champion was fined $40,000 (Ł31,000) and forfeited all his prize money for striking the umpire's chair in Acapulco.
The German 24-year-old will be banned if he commits another similar offence within 12 months of the incident.''

I have to admit that I really like Zverev as a tennis player, but he will obviously have to learn how to control his emotions or he could be kicked out of tennis competitions, which would be a great tragedy for world tennis.
What do you think?

''As with Nick Kyrgios, who was also deemed to have committed a major offence for an ugly pattern of behaviour in 2019, Zverev's extra punishment is on hold.
Kyrgios' 16-week ban was suspended for six months, but due to injury the Australian only played half a dozen tournaments in that time.''

Kyrgios could have achieved much better results in tennis, only if he devoted more time to tennis. Too bad for so much talent, which is not fully realized.

They both have a lot of talent but obviously they lack something to fully realize their huge tennis potential.

Rapid123, you probably think your case is unique on this forum but it is not.
To gain a new perspective and understanding, study this case: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5097792.0
As you can see, it took a full 2 years for this case to be resolved.
In doing so, RegulusHr strictly adhered to all the rules, explained his case, did not write in other topics, and managed to prove that because of his contribution and importance to the forum he deserves forgiveness and a second chance.
He also received great support from his local community, which did not stop for a full 2 years.
Based on all this, he got a second chance and forgiveness on this forum.
Honestly, I don't see any of that in your case.
