OP, I believe that after 4 pages of this thread you should already understand how to get merit in this forum  Grin Grin
Of course, this is a common question on this forum and has been answered a hundred times already, but obviously we can expect the same questions to continue to be asked, and there is no help for that.
I suggest you forget about the merits and focus on what you personally can give to this forum, and only then start asking the question what the community on this forum can give you in return.
When you accept this advice, you will see how easy it really is to get merits on this forum Cheesy
1162  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My crypto/Bitcoin advice. on: September 17, 2022, 01:40:44 PM
OP, of course there are many aspects of the crypto industry such as mining, developing crypto applications for payments and other purposes, other jobs related to the crypto industry such as programming, translating professional articles into other languages etc.
When it is commented that crypto is risky, it means primarily crypto trading or investing in crypto.
Every investment is of course risky, and before every investment you should analyze and understand the market, set concrete and achievable goals and have a clear exit strategy.
Diversification of investments in different asset classes is also very important.

A evo, otvorila su se još neka mjesta na tržištu signature kampanja  Grin

There's still 2 spots available (1 Sr. Member, 1 Hero/Legendary). If you are interested [lease apply with the format from the first post.

Sve novije i dalje u iznosima do 15 000 kn možeš dizati anonimno u kripto mjenjačnicama, bez pokazivanja dokumenata, OIB-a...

A bit late to follow yesterday and today's games but I see weird stuff there..
Juve was leading with 1 goal and now they are late 1-2 vs Benfica!
PSG was late with 1 goal but at least they are leading 2-1..
City 0-1 vs Dortmund.. Chelsea 1-1 Salzburg..
At least Real Madrid and Napoli are leading with 1 goal, 10 minutes before the end of these games!
(OK City scored 1-1 now)

Edit: wow, City 2-1 Dortmund and PSG, Napoli and Real Madrid added 1 goal each!
What matters in football is goals not how beautiful your team played. That's what we see in today's matches. Chelsea played very well but they ended up drawing the game. Leipzig played well in the first half but they lose in the second half against Real Madrid. Playing beautiful football without goals is equal to nothing.

I was expecting Chelsea to win without a draw. Salzburg didn't even bother attacking but they left with a draw, that's to show u that goal is the aim, not fine football.

There's a whole lot of Improvement in Chelsea players, at least every player played is positioned well without a flop. The players played with confidence, a massive attack and were eager to score. A draw match is not a bad one.

After the Champions League groups were determined, I expected this to be a very easy group for Chelsea and that they would easily win the first place in the group, as one of the main favorites of the entire Champions League.
Instead, Chelsea are playing very poorly and are currently last in the Group E.
Will Chelsea suffer the same fate as Barcelona last season, not to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League?
They are playing very badly at the moment and if they don't raise the level of their game and become a more efficient team in attack, and more concentrated in defence, this Champions League season will not end well for them.

~snip~
Anyway, rules are rules. I understand that mine or yours opinion doesn't matter and it is FIFA who holds the decision making capability. With two months to go for the tournament, I don't know whether FIFA will take the drastic step of suspending Ecuador.

The appealing hearing is on September 15th, so we will be getting an answer to this very soon.

So, today we will know the final decision?
FIFA has not yet announced its decision, as far as I can see on their official website, but this will be a very difficult decision for them and a great precedent, because they have never, until now, expelled a national team that qualified for the World Cup from that championship by administrative decision.
Could this be the last chance for Italy to take part in the World Cup instead of Ecuador based on the FIFA national team ranking?
However, a more realistic possibility is that Chile will  replace Ecuador, as a South American team.
1168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: September 15, 2022, 09:31:19 AM
We agree, as long as the rules do not harm football fans, especially for those who attend the World Cup which will be held, there will be no problem.
Moreover, the Qatari government has relaxed the rules related to alcohol consumption during the World Cup, although with some conditions that are its provisions.
Qatar is the first country hosting the World Cup which is a Muslim country. of course it will have an impact on the strict circulation of alcoholic beverages which are forbidden for Muslims. however, the problem has been resolved with the easing agreed by the organizers.

The spectators will be allowed to drink alcohol three hours before kick-off and one hour after the final whistle, I think this is a win win solution.
Yes that would be a good solution, however everyone should respect this. And this is something I think should be a good solution.
The organizers have considered this, and of course it is adjusted to the conditions of the country where the World Cup is currently being held. Hopefully this can be accepted by all parties including football fans, and it should be.

Realistically, I really don't believe that any police in the world, and even the one in Qatar, would be able to control thousands of fans from many countries around the world, and check what exactly they drink from a bottle, water or maybe alcohol?  Grin Grin
It's simply an impossible mission and it is good that the organizers in Qatar realized this and adapted their very strict rules for the world championship.
Now fans going to Qatar have one less thing to worry about  Grin
1169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 15, 2022, 09:25:09 AM
The 1-1 draw was disappointing for Chelsea.  Because, statistically, they played by controlling the game.  Chelsea's front line is deadlocked.
A very great disappointmet. It was a home match for Chelsea, yet it was a draw. The match was dominated by Chelsea but unable to score more than one goal. Dinamo Zagreb won Chelsea, Salzburg drew with Chelsea. Those are two clubs I thought Chelsea would win, but Chelsea disappointed us all. It is likely and having more chances that AC Milan would defeat Chelsea too which could be both home and away match. Very likely that Chelsea is either going for Europa or the Europa Conference League. I do not think Chelsea would have a place in Champions League in this season if care is not taken.

I'm also very surprised with such poor results of Chelsea at the beginning of the Champions League.
Everyone expected that this will be a very easy group for Chelsea and that they will dominate and easily win the first place in the group, and currently they are in the last place of the group and in a very difficult situation.
Can it happen to them what happened to Barcelona last season, that they don't qualify for the knockout stage of the Champions League?
Chelsea is currently playing very badly, they are not concentrated in defense and they are not effective and concrete enough in attack.
If nothing changes, Chelsea could become the biggest disappointment of this Champions League season.

1170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: September 15, 2022, 09:18:01 AM
What do you think about Group E?
Chelsea has had a very bad start to the Champions League and has only 1 point from the first two games and is currently in last place in the group.
Can the same thing happen to Chelsea that happened to Barcelona last season, not to qualify for the knockout phase of the Champions League?
That would really be a surprise, but at the moment Chelsea is playing very poorly and will have to urgently raise the level of their play in the champions league and become much more effective in matches against other teams.
At the beginning, it seemed that these would be an easy group for Chelsea, but currently they have big problems and very bad results.
1171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stage on: September 12, 2022, 08:28:29 AM
Honestly, this whole Ronaldo story is getting a little funny or even sad.
He desperately wants to escape from Manchester and play in the Champions League but no one wants him  Grin
After all, what can he offer a new club other than great marketing value?
Ronaldo has not been playing at his usual top level for the past few years, and as a player he is very selfish and harms the unity of the team.
His only motivation for playing in the Champions League is the desire to preserve his records, so that no one else surpasses them.

You are totally right about it. Ronaldo is acting like a child now. I understand his ambition to play in the Champions League but there is nothing to do about this now. Especially because of his high cost for teams, they don't lean towards offering a deal to sign him. These days his name is called with Chelsea but I don't think that it is more than a rumour at the same time. Chelsea already have Aubameyang and they don't need to add Ronaldo to the team also.

Ronaldo should focus on helping his team to finish the season in top four in the EPL. This is the only way he can find himself in the Champions League again. Or they can focus on winning the Europa League title also which would carry them to the Champions League group stage. But their priority must be the EPL now of course.

Actually I read a rumor somewhere that the Chelsea coach was fired not because of the club's poor results at the beginning of the season but because he opposed bringing Ronaldo to the club  Grin
Of course, it is very difficult to know what is actually true, because Ronaldo as a player has a huge marketing value for every club, but of course it is questionable how much more he can give to the club as a player.
Ronaldo found himself in a situation he did not want, that he has to play in the club he wants to leave and that he will not have the chance to improve his records in the Champions League.
1172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: September 12, 2022, 08:22:06 AM
I do not think that it is a place where young players could go to showcase their talents, the nations league or whatever it is named would be a much better place to do that. World cup is the place where nations bring their best possible players and most of the time teams that join are good teams as well because they beat others to join, there are a lot of nations that failed to join.

This is why I believe that we will see players who are at the best stages of their career, and not players who are young and have potential. If you are young and already play very well like Haaland then of course you will play.

I also believe that the World Cup isn't a showcase for new talent.
Talented players who are starting their careers always manage to stand out and attract the attention of big teams even if they are playing in local and less-targeted championships.

Football moves a lot of money and has scouts all over the world, you don't have to get to the FIFA World Cup to be able to stand out.

The best teams in the world actually have their own agents who travel the world in search of new football talents. All the big clubs do it.
Therefore, it is unlikely that a good young player will not be noticed by a serious European club.
However, the world championship is the biggest stage in the world and players who manage to show their talent and quality there will increase their chances of being transferred to a better European club and get a higher salary.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: September 12, 2022, 08:12:23 AM
I think its not a big issue and football can continue even if there is a ban on alcohol and other restrictions. The world must understand that every country has its own values and we must respect those value. Alcohol is ban in Qatar since its an Islamic country but since Qatar has bowed then its good for alcohol lovers.
But before choosing the host country for this year's World Cup, FIFA was aware that tourists/players/commission staff from the countries could not drink alcohol, people who were not married could not have any type of relationship among other Qatar's rules and habits?

Would this kind of condition already be explicit before choosing an Islamic country to host the World Cup?

By the way, I believe the Qatar is the first Islamic country in history to host the World Cup, am I correct?

Of course, FIFA knew what strict rules apply in Qatar, as a Islamic country, regarding the prohibition of alcohol, the prohibition of relations between men and women who are not married, and also that the costs for fans, for travel and accommodation will be huge.
However, FIFA has long been an organization whose main priority is not the fans or the game itself, but profit.
You are right, Karar is the first Islamic country to organize the World Cup in football.
1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: September 12, 2022, 08:05:44 AM
I think this will be a very good and uncertain match.
Both teams were very good in the first round of the group, but Bayern had a much stronger opponent, and at the same time showed great quality and dominance.
I think that Bayern found a very good replacement for Lewandowski in Mane, and they dominate again in the Champions League and in the German Championship and I give them a slight advantage in this match.
Barcelona also brought in new players and raised their level of play, and I believe that there is no chance that they will be eliminated in the group stage of the Champions League this season, as they were last season, although they are in a very difficult group of the Champions League.
Bayern is a lot more established club with most of their players, even though they lost Lewandowski, they got Mane instead and he is a great player as well, on top of that they also have players that could in return play very well and been playing together for a very long time as well.

Barcelona on the other hand got new players on all positions and there are only a few players coming back from last year, they do not have the chemistry that Bayern has, and neither way more talented than them neither. I am guessing Bayern will probably just run hard and tire out Barcelona and beat them by 70th or 75th minute, and score easier after that.

I think we both agree that Bayern is currently ahead of Barcelona, and in terms of game organization, experience, team cohesion etc.
Everyone wondered how Bayern would play without Lewandowski, but in fact, you can hardly see any difference in their game, they are still a great team, maybe even a better team compared to last season.
I watched their game against Inter and it was a rarely seen dominance from an away team against Inter in Milan.
Barcelona is slowly raising the level of their game with Xavi, but it will take them some time to reach the level of Bayern.

Most of Bayern's players have long been associated with the team and have a good understanding. Barcelona have brought in a lot of new players this season, and while there are plenty of juniors, it will take some time for them to play their proper game. But do I think Bayern Munich can beat Barcelona?

Of course it wouldn't be a surprise if Barcelona beat Bayern, we're just predicting the outcome of the match based on the past results and games of both teams, but the real match is something else entirely  Grin
In fact, Bayern have been having problems in the German league lately, they have lost some points in the last minutes of the games and it seems that the Bayern players have problems with their concentration in defense and this may be a chance for Barcelona.
A very exciting and uncertain match awaits us, and the team that makes fewer mistakes and has more concentration in the match will win.
1175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ FOOTBALL: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 on: September 11, 2022, 02:12:48 PM
These are the results from the opening group games played today Tuesday 6th September 2022:

Borussia Dortmund 3-0 FC Copenhagen

Dinamo Zagreb 1-0 Chelsea

Benfica 2-0 Maccabi Haifa

Celtic 0-3 Real Madrid

Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 Juventus

RB Leipzig 1-4 Shakhtar Donetsk

Red Bull Salzburg 1-1 AC Milan

Sevilla 0-4 Manchester City

Chelsea lost this evening, their season is already in trouble. They have played six Premier League games of which they lost two and won three and now they lost their opening Champions League group game too. Haaland scored twice while helping Manchester City win 0-4.

Holders Real Madrid won 0-3 and made an excellent start to their campaign a the expense of Celtic.

It could be said that Dinamo has become an expert on clubs from London, because in the last few years Dinamo has beaten all 4 clubs from London, Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham and now Chelsea.
It is clear that this can't be a coincidence and that Dinamo is not a bad club, it seems to me that according to the UEFA ranking they are among the 30 best clubs in Europe and therefore this result is not a surprise.
I watched the game and although Chelsea had possession of the ball and constantly attacked, they did not have a clear game plan and sufficient aggressiveness for a better result.

1176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: September 11, 2022, 02:03:08 PM
More about FIFA's crooked, bend rules and against sportsmanship just for money. International league or organization like FIFA has become really disgusted. No more sportsmanship to unite the world and connect countries, different people, cultures, and beliefs,... all set aside for sport. Someone has a different value, worships different gods, wears a different cloth, and such but once the game is on, things like that don't matter, everyone is welcome.

But no, FIFA doesn't care about enforcing that sportsmanship and unity anymore, all about the money now. Rich countries can now do whatever they want to push and flex their power, for the agenda just because they can with money thanks to FIFA's crooked.
In last three decades we have too much money involved in sports just because of this now these sports organizations are completely changing their way of business and doing many wrong things which are not acceptable still running into them as we all now money is coming fluently which is important for weak and small countries as well, but they need to work on few things which are very important because if they are not going to do better things for changes then surely mafias are going to take good control which is surely never been ideal situation for sports and this game.

Now fair policy and sportsmanship things are part of books or old now money is having good power as many decisions are implementing just because of more money and power talent is going into backside with quality is improving with money which is also having decline in quality for many countries, and now they are suffering badly as moneymakers are doing their own business and having good profit with all trophies and best achievements.

I agree with you, but obviously we live in a time when only money is important and everything else is less important.
We live in a time when it is practically impossible for Steaua or Crvena Zvezda to be European club champions, Uruguay to be world champions and Hungary or the Czech Republic to be finalists in the world championship.
Now the most important things are TV and marketing rights and football has become a huge business.
I'm sorry that there is so much money and corruption around football, but the professionalization of football brought us that, and things can't go back to the way they were.
1177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: September 11, 2022, 01:55:55 PM
It is a double edged sword. Some people claim that it will increase the number of one-sided matches (although I don't share that opinion). IMO, they should add another round-robin phase after the first round. What about something like this? Out of 48 teams (12 groups), 24 teams proceed to the next round. Now these 24 teams should be divided in to 8 groups, with the top team from each group going to the Quarter-finals. I believe that this is a much more risk-free plan compared to knockout matches starting from the second round.
Wouldn't a competition system with 64 teams and 16 groups be much better?
32 teams would advance to the knockout stage of the competition and we would see even more uncertain and exciting matches at the World Cup.
In this way, even more national teams would qualify for the world championship, so many small national teams would finally get the chance to participate in the world championship.
I don't even need to explain how much this would mean for the popularization of football in many countries of the world.
There is no doubt a good idea but hosting 64 nations is not easy for any country this needs to be more than two or three countries coming at one time and doing things for event like this and with this we can surely increase quality and many countries which are having good skilled players are also able to join and have their best. Soccer popularization is already unanimous because right now FIFA having around 170 members which is amazing and from these just 32 are coming for this mega event is also not easy for many countries with quota system which is currently due to quality and increasing number from 32 to 48 is also not bad at all.

I am feeling if we are going with @Sithara007 which is implementing teams for 48 not bad at all but final decision is coming from FIFA how they will manage this all we have to wait for this until long time as now next world cup is going to play in 2026 in the USA and few other countries as well which is also good idea.

In fact, what you mentioned is already happening and the 2026 World Cup will be held in as many as 3 countries, Canada, USA and Mexico.
I really don't think it would be a problem for those 3 countries to host 64 national teams instead of 48.
European football championships are also increasingly being held in more countries, and this is almost becoming a rule.
I think I read somewhere that FIFA actually has 211 members, so it would be fair to allow more national teams to participate in the World Cup.

1179  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It Is Dangerous To Completely Rely On Cryptocurrencies on: September 11, 2022, 01:35:00 PM
Investing in cryptocurrencies is now viewed as normal and the use is now getting popularised to almost every young person growing up in the modern day to prosper financially. Even the young people who initially missed the opportunity have grown interest in it and are using it to support themselves.

With all of this taking place, I want to emphasize that purchasing and investing in bitcoin, which is undoubtedly the best cryptocurrency, does not guarantee that you will be completely sustained for the rest of your life. Consider it a reliable side business that you can use to supplement your primary income when it suffers delays or to supplement to cover up for your daily expenses.

Some people have lost their lives as a result of completely depending on cryptocurrencies due to the unexpected market downturn. Some people even committed suicide as a result of the last big decline in cryptocurrency’s price in the market. Whatever happens to you in this life, it doesn't justify ending it on your own.

For beginners, it is advised before investing in cryptocurrencies to do your own research on the subject. Check the historical performance of those who have profited from it and those who have not, this will provide you with a forecast. With this, you can plan your investment and get a solid profit over the long term. Keep in mind that this is not a quick money-making scheme, conduct your own study and invest only after full understanding and knowledge.

This is good advice that has already been mentioned several times on this forum, but it is always good to repeat it for new members.
Investing in crypto is no different than investing in the stock market or any other market.
Any such investment is very risky.
Every investor should analyze the market well, prepare his investment plan and have a clear exit strategy.

Grin Grin Grin
