1581  Other / Meta / Re: [CHARTS] Brief monthly overview of the local boards activity on: May 29, 2022, 07:16:45 PM
Hey @Rikafip. Stop Slacking! Where have you gone? How comes that it is almost the end of the month, and we both haven't published our graphs (yet??)
You are absolutely right, I am seriously slacking. First I was procrastinating at the beginning of the month when I had plenty of free time but then things got really hectic at work and on top of that I got sick. But as they say that kick in the ass is one step forward so thanks for the reminder.  Grin I will try to publish the charts this week and if not, hopefully by Tuesday (May 31st).

Rikafip, how is the progress of your long-awaited report of the local boards activity?
I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that many members of this forum are waiting with great interest for your new report  Grin
Given that I understand that due to personal commitments you don't have so much free time, maybe in the future you could make this report once in three months instead of every month and so reduce the burden a little because of this report that you certainly feel.
For me, that would be quite ok and maybe some trends of this forum would be better seen over a longer period of time.
Thank you for your effort and time for publishing these reports.

How well do you manage financial management?
If you have Bitcoin assets which wallet do you think is safe so far?

I look at crypto investment like any other business, which means that I analyze the market in detail, I have my own investment strategy and a clear exit strategy.
I think that every serious investor should thoroughly analyze the market before investing and, in accordance with their financial capabilities, develop their own investment strategy, but also set price thresholds for exit.
It is important to stick to the plan and not succumb to emotions, and I think I am doing well for now.  Grin
Current assets for trading are on my cryptocurrency exchange account and assets that I want to keep in the long run are on Ledger.

Davidvictorson, I'm really pleasantly surprised that my advice is on your list, and even in the first place.
Whenever I have time I look at this part of the forum and if I can, I help with some advice to new forum members.
After all, we have all been in the same situation once, as new and inexperienced members, but with a desire to learn and make full use of all the potentials of the crypto in our lives.
When I first came to this forum, older and more experienced members of the forum helped me a lot and now I am trying to bring it back by helping new young members with my experience and knowledge.
I'm glad my advice helped you.
I wish you good luck and success on your crypto journey.  Cheesy
1586  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Common mistakes we practice as a bitcoiner. on: May 26, 2022, 11:49:44 AM
I would add something else, based on personal experience.
Many people enter the crypto arena completely unprepared, with unrealistic expectations of quick and easy earnings.
When the crypto market grows, then the interest of the media and the public in crypto grows and it seems to everyone that crypto is a great opportunity to make money.
What people don't realize is that this is a high-risk investment that should not be entered into with borrowed money or money we need for something else.
It is also necessary to be well informed and analyze the market in detail, and to understand the technology and how to protect yourself.
In the end, everyone needs to have an investment strategy and a clear exit strategy.
Beginners who do not follow these basic rules usually end up badly and lose their money in the crypto.
1587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: May 25, 2022, 08:42:33 AM

How many tennis players think this way and who else could cancel their participation in Wimbledon?
It seems that in the end, Wimbledon GS will be severely weakened and will almost turn into an exhibition tournament due to the decision of the organizers to ban the performance of Russian and Belarusian tennis players.
If Djokovic takes this opportunity and wins his new GS tournament, it seems that this eventual triumph of Djokovic at Wimbledon will always be overshadowed by doubt and controversy.
This is really not good news for all sincere tennis fans.
Because of playing Wimbledon without points, Djokovic will actually suffer great damage because he will be the biggest loser in this story.

Two wrongs do not make a right.  No one should mix politics with sport.  I don't support Wimbledon's decision at all and ATP as well.  No one should ban anyone. This is just  ATP is trying to put its foot down but they are hurting players who worked so hard for their points. Wimbledon will be a joke this year, most players are very likely not to  turn-up as there is no incentive. Djokovic will now lose 2,000 points from last year. And it is not fair or democratic.

I agree with you.
More and more tennis players are talking about this situation and expressing their dissatisfaction.
Here are the latest statements:

Former world number one Karolina Pliskova, who like Shapovalov is set to be one of the biggest losers in terms of ranking because she will be unable to defend the points she gathered on her run to last year's final, said the outcome was "bad and unfair".
Russian player Andrey Rublev blamed Wimbledon's initial decision for creating a "toxic relationship" and his compatriot Daniil Medvedev said the All England Club's move did not seem "very logical".

Shapovalov, ranked 15th in the world, said the decision put him under "added pressure" to succeed in Paris.
''France's Benoit Paire addressed the situation unprompted in his news conference, claiming "99% of players" want points to be available at Wimbledon.
"I'm sorry for Russia and Russians, but they are the ones causing all the trouble - and all the ATP players are actually paying the price," he said.

''World number seven Rublev has spoken out against the war in Ukraine and said last month the ban by Wimbledon was "complete discrimination".
On Tuesday, the 24-year-old added he thought the move by the ATP had to be made to show the tournaments "they cannot do whatever they want".
"Tennis, in my opinion, is the only one sport that we need tournaments to work together - and tournaments need players to work together," said Rublev.
"When we have a toxic relationship, like now, only the bad things can happen."

''Medvedev, 26, has tried to distance himself from expressing his support for either the ATP and WTA, or Wimbledon.
"When I read why the ATP made this decision, I found it very logical what they said. This is what I didn't find in Wimbledon explanations," said the world number two.
"I'm not saying which decision is right, but at least so far in explaining their decisions, I found [the] ATP just more logical and more consecutive."''

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/61572236

In short, all tennis players are very dissatisfied with the recent decisions to ban Russian and Belarusian tennis players from participating in Wimbledon, but also with the later decision of the ATP and WTA to remove ranking points from Wimbledon.
No matter how this situation ended, great damage has already been done and instead of talking and enjoying tennis, we discuss the decisions of the organizers and tennis associations.
Too much politics has been in sports lately.

Israelgogo, you have started a very interesting topic.
Of course, by definition, an online forum should be a place where people can freely express their opinions and participate in various discussions.
Unfortunately, people have different opinions about many things, and we are also all different characters and we express our views and opinions in different ways.
This forum is specific because there are many ways to earn money on the forum, so many members write for this reason, which older members do not like to see, writing just to meet the quota for a signature campaign.
Don't be too sensitive, stay positive and give your personal contribution to the forum and most members will be grateful  Cheesy
1589  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: An advice for Crypto Investing on: May 25, 2022, 08:14:12 AM
Before each investment, one should be well informed about the market, make a detailed analysis, and only then start investing.
There should be a clear strategy and investment plan and a clear exit strategy.
One should beware of the euphoria of the media and other, inexperienced investors, keep their emotions under control and make rational decisions.
The crypto market has actually become very similar to classic markets and stock exchanges, and the rules are the same.
It is not realistic, nor should anyone expect it to be enriched here over night.
It takes a lot of patience and time for a concrete result.

Transfer rumours:

Real Madrid want to sign Manchester City and England forward Raheem Sterling, 27, after being snubbed by23-year-old Paris St-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe. I hope that another great failure and disappointment will not happen for Real.
Mbappe says he also spoke to Liverpool over a potential transfer before deciding to stay with French champions PSG. This is surprising news to me, I did not know that such talks were held and that there was a possibility that Mbappe would go to Liverpool.
Tottenham will challenge rivals Arsenal to sign Brazil striker Gabriel Jesus, 25, from Manchester City. Who will win this race for Jesus?  Grin
New Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has made it clear that he wants Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo, 37, to remain for another season. So, is everything finally clear? Ronaldo stays in Manchester?
Spain defender Marcos Alonso, 31, will ask to leave Chelsea, with an agreement already in place with Barcelona. Good decision for Barcelona.

Four-time major winner Naomi Osaka is not sure she will play Wimbledon, saying that without ranking points it is "more like an exhibition".
"I feel like if I play Wimbledon without points, it's more like an exhibition. I know this isn't true, right? But my brain just like feels that way. Whenever I think like something is like an exhibition, I just can't go at it 100%.
I didn't even make my decision yet, but I'm leaning more towards not playing given the current circumstances."

It is very difficult to predict bitcoin prices, ups and downs.
The wise strategy is not to buy everything at once but in stages, depending on the movement of the price of bitcoin.
Likewise, bitcoin should be sold, in stages, depending on the movement of the bitcoin price, and you should also have a clear investment plan and exit strategy.
It's never the wrong time to buy bitcoin, but beginners often make mistakes and react emotionally to changes in the crypto market, and often under the influence of emotions sell prematurely and lose money.

Transfer rumours:

Barcelona coach Xavi has confirmed they are in talks to sign 33-year-old Bayern Munich and Poland striker Robert Lewandowski. Can Barcelona have the same situation that happened to Real yesterday, a surprise at the last minute?
Paris St-Germain are preparing one final offer for Paul Pogba but Juventus are confident the France midfielder, 29, will join them on a three-year deal worth close to Ł10m a season when his Manchester United contract expires this summer. PSG has already performed one miracle, can they do it again?
Real Madrid will make signing France midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, 22, from Monaco a priority after they missed out on Mbappe. How much Tchouameni can really be a substitute for Mbappe?
Liverpool will offer Sadio Mane a contract extension but have no plans to hand a major pay rise to the 30-year-old Senegal forward, who has one year left on his current deal. Does that mean Mane could really go to Bayern?
Inter Milan want Croatia winger Ivan Perisic, 33, to agree a new deal amid reported interest from Tottenham, Chelsea and Juventus. There seems to be less and less chance of Perisic staying at Inter.

1594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: May 22, 2022, 12:48:11 PM
I believe that it is much more important for Djokovic to win Roland Garros and Wimbledon at this moment and thus surpass Nadal in the race for GOAT in tennis.
Unlike Australia, where Djokovic couldn't compete for well-known reasons, and his main rival Nadal used it well to win a record of 21 GS, this decision could now help Djokovic because one of his main Wimbledon rivals, Medvedev, will not be able to compete, and Nadal is also questionable due to the injury.
It is known that Djokovic loves records and wants everyone to agree that he is the best and that is why he wants to win as many GS as possible.
In the end, politics and sport should never get mixed up together.
that's exactly what I was going to say, and as far as I remember everyone I always heard them say that we should keep politics out of sports, but here we are banning individual tennis players because of their nationality, I am totally against the war but I'd love to see Medvedev and other players playing high level tennis, Rublev even wrote in a camera after he won a match "no war please" which shows that he's against it, but everything runs by their rules and we just have to obey them.

Personally, I have a feeling that the Wimbledon organizers were under a lot of political pressure from the UK government and probably had no choice.
This is not the first such case. Didn't the Australian minister personally ban Djokovic from appearing at the GS in Australia for political reasons?
Like it or not, politics and sports have become firmly connected.
Meanwhile, Roland Garros has finally started.
We already have some unexpected results.
These are the defeats of Thiem and Jabeur and Muguruza is struggling a lot in her match.
1595  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Final! on: May 22, 2022, 12:35:49 PM
Real Madrid no longer have the burden in other matches, so they can rotate players freely, because they have secured the title bet much faster, while Liverpool still have a target in the Domestic League, to keep points and hope Manchester City lose in the last match, this is that sets the two clubs apart in the face of the Champions League Final, but that doesn't mean Liverpool don't look to the Champions League as a top priority this season

The point is that English fans usually value domestic competition more than external competition. Of course they want to win the Champions League, but Liverpool can't discolor Premier League, the fans wouldn't like it.

Therefore, the Liverpool coach will have to manage his squad very well, to be able to maintain a high competitive level in England, and reach the Champions League final with the physical capacity necessary to face Real Madrid.

This is always a big problem for English clubs in European competitions.
The English league is very long and hard and the English still have two different cup competitions.
For fans of English clubs, all these domestic competitions are very important, so it's very difficult to prepare players for European competitions because due to the large number of matches, players are more inclined to injuries and fatigue.
Real will have a slight advantage over Liverpool here because their players will have more rest and time to prepare.
1596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Winners: Eintracht Frankfurt! on: May 22, 2022, 12:27:21 PM
I would not say that the fact that Frankfurt won this competition is so much a miracle or a fairy tale.
First of all, it is a reputable German club that has already achieved great success in the past, such as winning the UEFA Cup.
It's a club with a very long tradition, which was founded in 1899, and which was also the champion of Germany and always good in the German league.
This season they were very good in this competition and before the finals they knocked out much stronger teams than Rangers, such as Barcelona and West Ham, and they deservedly won this competition.
They won this competition thanks to the quality they showed and not because of luck.
Let’s not forget that last year’s winner of this competition, Villareal, this season knocked Juve and Bayern out of the Champions League and played the semi-finals with Liverpool and I don’t think they are better team than Frankfurt  Grin
Just because they have a good history doesn't mean that it is not a miracle for them to win, they managed to beat Barcelona, if we are going to talk about the past then Barcelona has been the team with the best past against any team in all of europa.

However, it was a miracle because they were also not a good team in bundesliga neither, they ended up with 11th in the league, can you imagine any other nations 11th to win this cup? I know that people think that they have been great at Europa and that is understandable, yes they were great, but at the same time the fact that they were great in this tournament shows that it was an unexpected result since they were not great anywhere else for a long time.

In fact, I have a feeling that during the season the coach and players of Frankfurt realized that they could not make a good result in the German championship and that they therefore focused entirely on the Europa League.
It's difficult to endure a long and difficult league if you do not have enough quality players in the team and it is usually easier to achieve a good result in the cup competition for smaller clubs.
Therefore, I think that 11th place in the league is not a realistic reflection of their strength and quality of the team.
After all, didn’t they beat Bayern in the cup final a few years ago? It can't be said that they were so bad and that they didn't achieve anything in football for a long time before this success.
1597  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Educational: Bitcoin is technically independent from Altcoins on: May 22, 2022, 11:25:14 AM
I agree somewhat with the introductory statement but it must be said that altcoins depend on the performance of bitcoin.
Bitcoin is still the main entry for most crypto investors, and altcoin is usually discovered by ordinary investors at a later stage.
When the price of bitcoin rises, so does the price of most altcoins, but when the price of bitcoin starts to fall, so does the price of altcoin.
That’s why it’s hard to say that altcoins are so independent of bitcoin, at least not in all aspects.

Na žalost, još jedna ''friška'' kampanja našeg omiljenog managera Hhampuza je upravo pauzirana:

Round 1 Payments have been sent out!

Thank you all for a fantastic first week, you all did well!

Unfortunately I have not been able to get in touch with the Fairspin guys throughout the week so the campaign has to be put on PAUSED, for now. If they get back to me we can pick it back up where it left off but for now you can remove your Signatures and Avatars and I thank you for this short but sweet campaign.

Until next time!

PSG have just confirmed on their official website that Mbappe has extended his contract with the club:

https://en.psg.fr/teams/first-team/content/kylian-mbappe-extends-contract-with-paris-saint-germain-until-2025

https://twitter.com/i/status/1528085635860504579

Mbappe extended the contract until 2025 and made the following statement:
''Kylian Mbappé: "I would like to announce that I have chosen to extend my contract at Paris Saint-Germain, and of course I am delighted. I am convinced that here I can continue to grow at a club that provides everything necessary to perform at the highest level. I am also delighted to continue to play in France, the country where I was born, where I have grown up and where I have made my name.

I would like to thank the President, Nasser Al-Khelaďfi, for his trust, his understanding and his patience. I would also like to thank all the fans of Paris Saint-Germain, both in France and around the world, for their support, especially in recent months. Together, side by side and ambitious, we will make magic in Paris.”

It is clear that the end of this story is a big shock and a blow to Real's ambitions, and obviously we will have a big football war between these two clubs in the coming months.
All the while the European and world football public was convinced that Mbappe had made a firm decision and that he wanted to play for Real but in a sudden turnaround Mbappe decided to stay at PSG.
This is a really shocking end to this story that has been going on for two years now and PSG’s big win over Real.

Transfer rumours:

France striker Kylian Mbappe has agreed deals with both current club Paris St-Germain and La Liga side Real Madrid and it is now up to the 23-year-old to make his choice between the two, says his mother and agent. his is already becoming a real drama, what Mbappe will eventually decide?
Real Madrid are reportedly interested in Manchester City and Germany midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, 31.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola wants to keep Gundogan, who has one year left on his contract, at the club. Gundogan is, it seems, in the middle. Which way will he go?
France midfielder Paul Pogba, 29, will move to either Paris St-Germain or Juventus when he leaves Manchester United on a free transfer this summer. I thought his return to Juve was already a done deal. With Pogba, last-minute changes are always possible  Grin
Spurs are also looking into signing Inter Milan and Croatia winger Ivan Perisic, who is out of contract in the summer, but the 33-year-old is believed to favour a move to Juventus. Will Perisic follow in the footsteps of Modric and play for Spurs or Mandzukic and play for Juve?
