Given what happened at the GS in Australia with Djokovic, and the limitations of Covid, and given the announcements that unvaccinated foreign players will not be able to play in America, I find it a little strange that at Wimbledon no one cares about it, there are no restrictions, testing, nothing...
There were even rumors that some tennis players at the GS in Paris were infected with Covid but still played because they didn't have to get tested and didn't even tell anyone.
Is this about double standards to save the tournament and allow all tennis players to play, regardless of the health hazard?
On the other hand, it seems that in America, domestic players will be able to play unvaccinated but not foreigners. There really are a lot of double standards and hypocrisy here and Djokovic and others has a right to be angry.
1442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: June 30, 2022, 12:57:59 PM
I have two favourite teams for the World Cup title from South America (Brazil, Argentina) and two from Europe (France, Germany) now. There are some teams like Belgium and Portugal too but I feel like none of them will make it to the title. The reason why I see Germany ahead of the other big teams I mentioned is that they are improving themselves again to start performing like in the old times. I see a big potential in them in this tournament and I will see if I'm wrong about them.

It seems to me that Brazil has been much more convincing and better than Argentina lately, even in the South American qualifiers.
The Argentina team is still too dependent on Messi.
Germany is a very good team but in the last a few competitions they achieved poor results due to bad strikers.
Their biggest misfortune is that Lewandowski is not German and does not play for the German national team  Grin
As for France, it seems to me that their biggest problem at the moment is bad relations in the team and the coach without authority.
However, I agree that all these national teams, regardless of the current problems, are among the favorites, and I would add Spain and the Netherlands.

JamesDaniel90, each of us has a different situation and a different investment strategy and plan.
It's very important when and at what price you bought your cryptocurrencies.
Also, there is a big difference whether you want to trade cryptocurrencies or just keep them in your digital wallet and wait for the price to rise in the future.
You can invest all at once or in stages, gradually to guess the best time to enter the market.
It's always wise to withdraw earnings, but we need to have a clear plan and exit strategy, and price thresholds that meet our investment goals.
I entered crypto a long time ago and I made serious money here already and now I just keep the funds in my digital wallet and wait for a certain price threshold when I will withdraw the remaining funds, according to my exit strategy.

Marykeller, thanks for a very inspiring post, one of the best I’ve read lately.
What you wrote touched me a lot because as a sponsor through an NGO I financially help a girl in Africa to be able to go to school regularly and have a better future through education.
She unfortunately doesn't have a computer and a cell phone, and Internet access, so I still can't teach her about bitcoin and crypto but I'm planning to do it later and change her life.
So, you are really doing what I want to teach her when she is ready and I wish you a lot of success on your crypto journey.
Even if you don't currently have the finances to buy cryptocurrencies in the services under market (on this forum), you have some opportunities to earn bitcoin through various paid projects. Maybe a good place to start.

Evo još jedne prijave. Više zbog vidljivosti posta nego zbog Merita... Radi se o drugom dijelu posta gdje pišem o Ledger Marketu.

Ledger i NFT, hmm stvarno zanimljivo 😃
1446  Local / Altcoins (Hrvatski) / Re: Altcoin novosti on: June 27, 2022, 03:10:46 PM

Ne razumiješ me, ajmo ovako.

1447  Local / Altcoins (Hrvatski) / Re: Altcoin novosti on: June 27, 2022, 10:51:46 AM

Transfer rumours:

Chelsea are thought to be open to adding their Germany forward Timo Werner, into a swap deal for Juventus and Netherlands defender Matthijs de Ligt. Werner obviously did not take their chance at Chelsea and this seems like a good exchange and a good deal for both clubs.
Manchester United and Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo, 37, was one of the topics discussed when new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly met the player's agent Jorge Mendes last week. Is that a hint that Ronaldo could eventually go to Chelsea instead of Juve or PSG?  Grin
Roma are keen to sign Ronaldo and reunite him with his former boss at Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho.
Ronaldo could be heading back to Portugal after his first club Sporting Lisbon sounded him out over a return home. How many combinations and different stories about Ronaldo lately.  Grin What he will ultimately decide?
Manchester United are growing increasingly confident of landing their number one transfer target Frenkie de Jong, with a compromise fee of about Ł69m likely to be reached with Barcelona for the Netherlands midfielder. This great deal seems to be coming to an end.
Juventus and Paris St-Germain have opened talks over a deal for Brazil forward Neymar, 30, who is also being linked with Chelsea. Neymar seems to be really leaving Paris but is he really going to Juve?

1450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: June 26, 2022, 12:09:39 PM
I totally agree with you. The 2022 World Cup in Qatar is one of its most likely to be Brazil and. Considering the current form of Brazil and Argentina, it can be seen that Brazil and Argentina have occupied the top spot. And their current team combination is much better.

That is a nice prediction but you can not predict the final game from Qatar because anything can happen inbetween (within). A team can be weak and struggled to scale through in the Qatar level but ironically can be changed at the main tournament and play the final. Although we are all here for the prediction of the main tournament. So there is liberty to say one's mind. Therefore as for me I predict Italy, because they played well in all the world cups I have watched so far. And they were once FIFA world champion, and if I would select 2nd team for finale, I would choose Brazil. These are the ones I will preferably win the cup. But as it was said in the OP, my best team was Nigeria. Since Nigeria is not around again in tournament. I go with Italy.

I have to correct you for a few mistakes in your text. Italy didn't qualify for this World Cup so they can't be world champions. Another correction is that Italy has been world champion 4 times, in 1934, 1938, 1982 and 2006.
At the 1982 World Cup, exactly what you mentioned in your post happened, Italy played very badly in the group stage and barely passed the group with 3 draws and then surprisingly beat the big favorite Brazil and eventually became world champions.
World Championships are very difficult and exhausting competitions and in the end the best team doesn't always win, but the most prepared, physically and mentally.
In any case, a very uncertain and exciting competition awaits us with a lot of candidates for the title of champion  Cheesy
1451  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Group Stage Highlights on: June 26, 2022, 12:05:49 PM
In my opinion both netherland and portugal has slightely easier groups but it does not mean they will easily make it out of the group stage i also believe that brazil will dominate their group they seem really strong at the moment i don't think any one on that group could stop them.

I agree that Brazil is a slight favorite of the group, but they will face very difficult and uncertain matches against Switzerland and Serbia.
Don't forget that Serbia was better than Portugal in the group stage of qualification.
I think the hardest opponent for the Netherlands in the group will be Senegal, and Portugal will have a very awkward and difficult opponent in  Uruguay.
Ghana must not be underestimated either.
1452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: June 26, 2022, 11:58:03 AM
You mean Brazil and Argentina will move to finals? I doubt they will pass both to the final game but I think one of them will play the last game

If the World Cup were next month, I would say that Brazil and Argentina were the main favorites to play in the final. But as it will only be at the end of the year, a lot can change, as the European football leagues will be halfway through and the performance of the players may be very different from now. I find it difficult to place bets now on who will reach the final.

Why do you think these two South American national teams are the favorites to perform in the World Cup final?
Personally, I think that the French national team is better than both Brazil and Argentina, despite a few worse results lately, and don't forget Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, England, Germany etc.
The last time a South American national team was the world champion was in 2002, 20 years ago, and since then European football has been better both on the national team and club level.
I don’t think this trend will change in Qatar.
In any case, a very interesting and uncertain world championship awaits us with a lot of candidates for the title of world champion.

Serena Williams just gave a very interesting interview, about the reasons for returning to Wimbledon:

''Serena Williams says a big motivating factor behind her Wimbledon return was not wanting last year's tearful injury retirement to be her final SW19 memory.''
''Asked about her expectations at Wimbledon, the world number 1,204 said: "I have high goals, but also I don't know. We'll see."
''She has not played singles since waving a tearful farewell to Centre Court last year after slipping in the match against Belarus' Aliaksandra Sasnovich.
It was always something since the match ended that was always on my mind," she said. "So it was a tremendous amount of motivation for that.''

"I didn't retire. I just needed to heal physically, mentally," she said at the All England Club on Saturday.
I had no plans, to be honest. I just didn't know when I would come back. I didn't know how I would come back.
Obviously Wimbledon is such a great place to be, and it just kind of worked out."

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/61936963

What a rested and recovered Serena can do at this Wimbledon?
She obviously wants a dignified farewell to Wimbledon and we may be watching the last performance of one of the greatest tennis legends in history.
It will be very interesting to watch her in the coming days.

Personally, I don’t think this forum is such a scary and dangerous place that new members don’t dare write and contribute for fear of punishment.  Grin
Where did you get such a conclusion?
I know a lot of members who started as a newbie, at first they were a little insecure because they didn't have a lot of knowledge and experience in the crypto, but over time they learned, gained experience and reached the legendary rank.
Of course, there is another category of members, who come to this forum solely because of the possibility of earning money through bounty campaigns.
If such members start spamming the forum with their posts or plagiarizing the content, it is quite clear that they will be punished for violating the rules of the forum and I do not see anything unusual there, so it is on every online forum.

Transfer rumours:

Liverpool are considering selling Mohamed Salah if they get an offer in the region of Ł60m this summer, with Real Madrid among the clubs monitoring the 30-year-old Egypt forward's situation. The famous Liverpool attack seems to be falling apart. Can Liverpool find the right replacements for Mane and Salah?
Arsenal have reached an agreement for Manchester City and Brazil forward Gabriel Jesus, with the Gunners set to pay Ł45m for the 25-year-old. After a long time finally a good job for Arsenal and a great reinforcement for the club.
The Netherlands midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum will be allowed to leave Paris St-Germain this summer. Leicester City are keen on the 31-year-old, while Everton, Wolves and West Ham are also keeping close tabs on the situation. What Wijnaldum will ultimately decide?
Bayern Munich director Hasan Salihamidzic says there is no truth in rumours that the Bundesliga club want to sign Manchester United and Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo. There have been rumors lately about Ronaldo, but it seems that in the end there will not be a big transfer this season for him, because PSG and Bayern have obviously given up on Ronaldo. What's left for him? Roma?
Manchester United and Ralf Rangnick agreed to cut ties at the end of last season in part because of new manager Erik ten Hag's reluctance to work with the German in his proposed consultancy role. A somewhat unexpected end to the collaboration between Manchester United and a man who was supposed to lead the club's sports policy for a long time and didn't even start doing his new job  Grin

Without being biase on my choices, I think most of the Affican nations a likely not going to make it past group stage. The few that would would likely get eliminated in the round of 16. Ghana most especially seems to have been placed in a group of death with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea, no bad feelings but its game over. From the way I see it, they are the least in that group although, not to mind  the best doesn't always wins but most times, they do and this is world cup.

Anyway  if I'm to pick those I project to lift the trophy and other consolation prizes, I'll go with;
1. Germany
2. Belgium
3. Brazil
I'm sure they've got a few flaws but, that's my pick.

agree.
The chances of African countries qualifying for the World Cup will be difficult to get to the last 16.  we can see the match schedule of opponents from African countries is quite heavy.  senegal vs netherlands, portugal vs ghana.  it is very clear that the opponents for the two African countries are very heavy when viewed from the statistics.  but I prefer to favor two countries.
germany
argentina

Two favorite countries that will become champion candidates.
I think that neither Germany nor Argentina will play in the final. Germany did poorly at the last World Cup and European Championships. Argentina last played against Germany in the final in 2014. I think this year's final will be different. I remember when Argentina won the Netherlands in the semi finals in 2014, I think that if it happens again this year, the Netherlands will qualify for the finals.

Ok, I agree that Germany and Argentina may not be the main favorites of this World Cup but they are not without a chance to play in the final.
In competitions like this with a lot of games in a short time and when the players are under a lot of pressure, experience plays a very important role, and Argentina and Germany have a lot of players who play in the biggest clubs in the world.
I’m not sure the Netherlands is the favorite for the final and yet I give Brazil, Spain and France a much better chance.

Anyone fancy Williams to get one last hurrah? Itching to pull the trigger... I'd have put money on Fedex had he made it.

-snip

Djokovic may still be the best player in the world, but the rankings won't reflect that any time soon.

hard to finish year as number one, not impossible, but very hard

nevertheless, probably more important to him to get back to equal number of GS title with Rafa at the moment, since he has longest number one strike, and it is not reachable by active players

Hurkacs and Alcaraz are his draw half in Wimbledon, Berrettini is with Nadal

Yeah like how Brazil's to me been the best and most consistent over the past few years, and yet Belgium somehow stayed in #1 rank for a while (not any longer apparently but I no longer keep up).

I guess in tennis it's a lot more important to be ranked as it's individual but yeah, I've to say it's really just the GS titles that makes the most impact -- whether you're following tennis closely or just a casual observer like me.

He'll hope Berrettini does him a favour and prevent Nadal from widening the gap but he's got a hell of a job on his hands!

For Williams maybe in the doubles if she plays with Jabeur depending on how serious
her injury is which she picked up yesterday
. I wouldnt fancy her chances in a singles match,
she would brobably get through a couple of rounds all right.

Beretini will be for sure a bigger chalenge to Nadal than Hurkacz and the unknown on grass Alcaraz will
be to Djokovic IMO.

I agree, Serena will have a much better chance of winning in doubles.
She is back after a long break due to injury and the big question is how ready she is for the tournament.
She obviously still dreams of winning another GS and setting a record but I don’t think that’s realistic or likely.
In fact, it would be better for her to start thinking about a tennis pension.

City has been one of the absolute top favorites for a few years now. Will be no different this year. Of course, that still applies to Paris St German. They were knocked out by Real Madrid last season, but to be honest, PSG was pretty much done with that. I think PSG is not much less than City at all. But with Haaland there, it can make a difference. But what are we talking about, PSG has Messi, Mbappe and Neymar. A dream vanguard. Final City-PSG would be nice  Tongue

You are right, in recent years Manchester City and PSG have been constantly mentioned as the main favorites of the Champions League, but every time another club wins the Champions League, from Chelsea which was a somewhat unexpected Champions League winner, to Real, Bayern and Liverpool.
It just shows how very difficult it is to predict a Champions League winner and that big money can't guarantee success.
It looks like Manchester City with Haaland will be even stronger than last season but Pep still has to prove he can win the Champions League with some other club that is not the strongest Barcelona in history, with Messi, Iniesta and Xavi.
Somehow I have a feeling Real could make it to the finals again  Grin
