1821  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: July 11, 2016, 11:45:01 AM
Work here on signature campaigns or just buy bitcoin....you can buy many altcoins too and waiting will price increase Smiley
Yeah buy many altcoins and wait for the price increase,
i think it's good to buy bitcoin as of now because they are cheap and still low price.
Buy a lot of coins like doge, ltc, eth and many more because i believe that just after a few months they will go up to the moon and we will get good profits.

Would be better if he will trade btc-usd  rather than altcoins. I believe your wrong coz I do believe alt will never reach the moon in just after a few months.LOL dude. No way, as long as there is bitcoin in their top they wont reach the moon even in the following year.

it depends on your definition of "moon" if you are expecting an altcoin to reach $1000 price then you are right that will never happen with the current available altcoins.

but if by moon you mean rising 100%-1000% of that small price of theirs then that is something that keeps happening everyday in altcoin market. for example an altcoin is 1000 satoshi today and reaches 2000 satoshi in one week and that is 100% profit aka moon.
1822  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Has Blockchain Halving had any impact on the Bitcoin market? on: July 11, 2016, 11:40:19 AM
There was much hype about the blockchain halving. There were predictions of the price shooting up similar to what happened in the first halving, and there were also predictions of the price falling back to as low as $100. Others said the market was going to crumble. I have not been keenly following the happenings but I am sure the halving took place. Sincerely speaking, I have not seen any changes as predicted before. What is your take?

you shouldn't mistake prediction with FUD. one is based on facts and analysis of the market which is also called speculation but the other one is mostly trolling and spreading lies for some purpose that only will benefit the person who is spreading them. and that falling back to 100 is one of them. for the rest you should visit speculation board to see all kinds of things.
1823  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: July 11, 2016, 11:35:59 AM
You would surely be able to accept bitcoin as salary!
Nothing better than being paid to a promising currency as Bitcoin.
Even, there are companies like Bitwage, working as an intermediary in wages receiving process in bitcoin.
yeah but i doubt that there are many companies, who may actually pay their
employees with bitcoin right? it is just not so popular to implement it.

actually if i recall there was a project called bitwage that did this, meaning you could sign up with them and receive your salary as bitcoin through them with the current rate but i don't recall any more detail than that, you should take a look into it if you are interested in it.
1824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Misinterpretation about halving. on: July 11, 2016, 11:31:11 AM
I made this post to clarify things. Many bitcoin users associates price increase to bitcoin. In my experience with bitcoin the price increase lies on the demand and supply. A skyrocket price increase has no relationship with halving. It's funny reading things that halving is equivalent to price increase or decrease but I would like to hear ideas from knowledgeable members. It would help and also correct me if I am wrong.

actually you are wrong about a couple of things.
1) supply and demand is not the only factor that plays a role in increasing or decreasing the price. but there are other things like other before me has suggested like hype.
2) halving can lead to a rise because of two things: the reduced supply and also the hype it brings to the market but the misinterpretation is that people think it is going to happen right away while it takes time.
1825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OMG Halving Happened AND... on: July 11, 2016, 11:24:28 AM
halving happened and nothing happened, yes but nothing good or bad happened and i find this stable 640 ish dollar price reassuring. because it is a sign that demand has not changed yet and with the supply decreasing now it should rise after a while.
1826  Economy / Economics / Re: I have 12 BTC in my Account, How should I invest this?? on: July 09, 2016, 03:30:58 PM
with 12 BTC or in general with a large amount of bitcoin if you are not sure about what to do with it and really want to invest then is suggest all of you to spread it between multiple investment opportunities and start small and test them first.

for example you can start trading, you can also invest in a casino or a gambling site's bankroll and share the profit from house edge. and many more. but never invest in ponzi, hyips and all those scams.
1827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: July 09, 2016, 03:27:42 PM
so acoinllc owns it. how much have you earned from moneypot every month if you have invested to them?
if they only require 0.01 btc like bitvest, i may also try them just to compare both and may invest more later.

Just for clarity, Acoin is one of the owners.  There are others and we use a democratic process that involves the votes of multiple majority to pass any decision on.

Speaking personally, I believe a lot of the feedback swapped between Acoin and the other members are due to personal conflicts and that Moneypot should be viewed entirely separate from these actions and comments as they are not related.

If anyone has any questions or concerns, I will be happy to answer them all in public or in private.

Thanks.
Glad moneypot's representative is hear to answer some questions, really like moneypot as investment as I believe I can make more profit as evidence by the profitable operation from the past few months.
I dont know if it is profitable to invest honestly its risky too to invest in any gambling site because sometimes someone are winning in gambling that you can also lose..

i haven't yet invested in any of these sites yet but i have been monitoring for some time, and i have to say house losing is not a common thing and even if in some rare occasion someone wins big and the house loses instead it would only be temporary and they pick up again.
1828  Other / Off-topic / Re: if you have the 10 BTC where you want to spend it on: July 09, 2016, 03:20:15 PM

if you have the 10 BTC where you want to spend it?  Wink

i don't have anything in mind that would cost 10BTC or around $6500 so i would most probably keep it for the future in my cold storage as i am doing right now with the rest of my coins that i have invested my money before.
1829  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTC Dice websites with faucet & 9900x roll possibility? on: July 09, 2016, 03:16:38 PM
Hello! Cheesy I'm a gambler since like 2014 and I just thought about this idea: finding as many bitcoin dice sites with faucets and trying the 9900x all in roll every 3-5 minutes, which basically boosts our chances to win Cheesy I'm using 4 sites already: PrimeDice, FastDice, Fun Dice and BitSler. Do you guys know any other websites that you can get satoshis from their faucet & then try your luck for a 9900x roll?

Thanks for helping me! And sorry for my english:D

this is an interesting idea, and please come back to this board and inform us with your stats after a while like in how many rolls you made so far and if you have won anything.

because i tried this a while back with a lot of difference, only one site and with smaller multiplier but after a while past i checked my stats and saw that it wasn't profitable at all based on the time i spent.

==snipitty==
Gotta love that auto-deref.

haha is that a new feature?
1830  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if price of bitcoin dont increase after halving too. on: July 09, 2016, 03:06:50 PM
once it came to my mind if it really affects people.

nothing bad really happens, miners are still happy about the current price and will continue and for the rest of us, if you are a trader then you know how to make profit even with a stable price and if you are a regular bitcoin user then again you wouldn't mind stable price and in fact you will be so much happier about it.
1831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving = Less Miners = Slower Transactions on: July 09, 2016, 03:02:29 PM
you have to understand these first before you can give your opinion about miners which you clearly don't have any idea about their operation.

halving == less block reward
halving == less profit for miners
BUT
halving != minus profit

in other words less profit doesn't mean minus profit or loss, it is still profit.
1832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Saturday is halving day what is your opinion on: July 07, 2016, 12:41:07 PM
Hi all Bitcoiners,
i am interested in your opinion will bitcoin price go up or down after the Halving?

i think bitcoin price can go both ways, and there is no way of telling which way for sure. but this is only for right after the halving because there will be a lot of excitement and panic at the same time.

but a while after it things will settle down and price will rise above all our expectations.

Quote
Selling now or after halving?

i have to see the price to decide. i maybe selling some if there is a sudden rise and buy back if there is dip but we will have to see.
1833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: July 07, 2016, 12:37:08 PM
Gambling is a dopamine-fueled risk; obviously it's going to be fun when you might profit...OP, what nonsensical thread topic is this?
But what is your basic motive behind gambling, like when you visit a dice gambling site or any casino, then what you aim first : you want to make profit or you want to have some fun, no matter how much loss / profit you give / take.

Haha I agree most of topic here is almost nonsensical, you cannot say you only gamble for fun.  The fun there is for profit. Basically to have fun you must reap a profit from your game else, you would be frustrated. Hey it's not funny when you are losing Cheesy  Anyone can tell me they are having fun if they lose 21 straight roll?
Yes basically a fun come from a winning game,  nobody leave casino smile when they lost their home staked on roulette! It is bullshit if someone tell you that he gamble just for the sake of fun.

Gambling are not a right action to get a pure fun , you might get it if you call an escort service.

while i agree with you but a lot of the fun in gambling is the gambling itself. i mean if the winning was the only thing gamblers were looking for, a lot of them (like your example who leaves the casino with no smile on his face) would have given up on gambling a long time ago.

but you see the fun is in the risk you take while you gamble and the thrill that you experience while doing this and if it leads to a win then it doubles the fun but if not it is still fun playing it.
1834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You got enough money to create a gambling site, what will you do different? on: July 07, 2016, 12:31:59 PM
An investor just gave you enough money to hire a huge team of professional developers and to create your own gambling website? What will set your gambling website apart from all the other gambling sites? Will you invent something? What are your ideas? Why would your site stand out? Discuss!  Grin

this is a hard decision to make easily. because in order to run a business and be successful in it you should have some prior experience in the field and just playing the gaming games doesn't count as experience.

but if i wanted to do that, i would gather a team to build and manage the site so that the brainstorming of all of us can lead to the success we are looking for.
1835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casino vs Land Based Casino *poll* on: July 06, 2016, 01:19:29 PM
I prefer land based casino because can enjoyed the atmosphere and meet sexy young girls in casino instead stressful desktop screen, how about you?

unlike you i prefer playing at online casinos.

because playing online is so much easier than going out and playing at a land based casino. you have to get in your car and drive there and pay for parking and then go play there and then drive back tired.
1836  Economy / Speculation / Re: Halvening 99% ready, rocket only 2 weeks to go before moon launch!! on: July 06, 2016, 01:16:46 PM
Woohoo! We're almost there! Let's be part of bitcoin history  Grin what should we do to party? Anyone hav any ideas? Half a cake and half a (24 of) beer? Is there going to be half of a ball dropping in New York City? That would be epic.

From your understanding of markets. Do markets generally price in fundamental events before, or after the event?

If markets tend to price things in 'before the event', then what tends to happen after the event?

I think the halving is not new news. We knew this several months ago. So the price is already reflecting that.

knowing or not knowing about halving doesn't make any change. there may be some hype because of knowing it is going to happen and increase the price because of it but also it is all about the supply and demand and when halving happens this supply will be even less.
1837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: July 06, 2016, 01:13:15 PM
I don't think so. Banks are the foundation of money in general.
Soon enough, banks may actually use bitcoin as one of the main currencies.
That is possible that banks will start adopting bitcoin, but there is no chance that bitcoin can replace banks as the size of banking system is too huge, comparatively bitcoin is still too small.

banks will eventually start to accept the fact that bitcoin is greater than they are and if the day comes that bitcoin becomes so much more famous then that day banks will also adopt bitcoin just because they wouldn't want to be left behind.
1838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please teach me how to grow my bitcoin on: July 06, 2016, 01:04:42 PM
Hello guys please i would love to learn how to make a living through bitcoin... I don't have much but $200 to invest in this, a regular computer with Internet and a very good head for learning thanks I think anything from 2Btc weekly is perfect... I need a source of income badly
the best thing that can do by newbie are small earning like faucet,or maybe you can buy senior or hero member account to join signature campaign.

Faucets are not a way to earn money, but a way to play with bitcoin transactions.
Even if you are a newbie you should read here and learn about the price movements, so you can make an educated guess as to when to sell or buy.

faucets are not even good to learn about anything even learning about bitcoin transactions because you receive dust from faucets and not knowing how bitcoin works you will end up with a lot of small inputs in your wallet that you have to pay a lot of fees to spend.
1839  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have BTC. Should I sell or hope for price to rise? on: July 06, 2016, 01:00:50 PM
Ïf you have allot of bitcoins i would say just hold them till the end of the year because the price will be positive in the end of 2016 and if you dont
believe me you can sell them now but you wont make any profit with it i think.

Profits depends on what price you have purchased your coins, if current price is higher for you then you should sell your coins and make profits from it and buy it again when price drops.

you will never regret holding bitcoin even if it goes down, it will come back up. but the only difference would be if you have bought bitcoin at a high price in a bubble then you have to wait a very long time to get back to the price of your purchase. so make sure to buy before it is a bubble.
1840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have any Good strategy to improved martin fail system Playing Dice Game? on: July 06, 2016, 12:53:51 PM
Hi guys as i continue my journey to seek more ways to win with the house playing dice game, I'm just curious maybe you have a good techniques using this old method as we all know that in a long term run it will only results into a big loss, I personally experience it so seeking for more insight maybe you guys add some more or some tweaks and work for you, I hope you can share it here guys. thanks in advance.

you can't really change anything about martingale strategy in dice games. it is as good as it gets. you can change your multiplier and play around with the minimum amount of bet but in the end it will lead to a big losing streak that empty your pocket so make your pocket bankroll bigger.
