It will be great idea and will be another good development for my country since it will make bitcoiner like easier to do some transaction easier and cheaper rather than I'm using fiat. But the problem is my goverment still not accept bitcoin for some reason but hope they will realize the advantage of bitcoin

Yea our country doesn't accept Bitcoin yet but i wouldn't mind earning 50% of my salary in Bitcoin so that i can use it online. I'm kind of frustated of using Paypal and paying extra charges when i use credit cards to buy stuff online. So gaining more bitcoin from my salary pay would really be convinient. Maybe in three years time, there would be some development.

Yea, BTC has cheaper fees then paypal. Let's hope that more businesses will give BTC as part of their employee's salary.

At this moment I find it to hard to predict what will happen with the price so i would prefer to get paid normally, but if will keep on performing I would be happy to accept it.
But at this moment not.

You would surely be able to accept bitcoin as salary!
Nothing better than being paid to a promising currency as Bitcoin.
Even, there are companies like Bitwage, working as an intermediary in wages receiving process in bitcoin.

yeah but i doubt that there are many companies, who may actually pay their
employees with bitcoin right? it is just not so popular to implement it.

actually if i recall there was a project called bitwage that did this, meaning you could sign up with them and receive your salary as bitcoin through them with the current rate but i don't recall any more detail than that, you should take a look into it if you are interested in it.

Well if it was part time I guess I would consider accepting bitcoin as my salary. If it was full time I wouldn't consider accepting bitcoin as my salary since I need fiat too to survive in my daily life.

I know the main reason why most of us don’t want BTC as salary because its unstable.., and the price may go too low so, people are afraid,,, but in some countries you can buy the things through BTC, they accept BTC, so we dont have any thing to lose... May be for few months it would be hard but I think after a practice it will be good and people will accept it

I think that salary in bitcoins is not so good cause bitcoin depends on fiat, for me is much better to recive my salary in dollars. But when bitcoin price is high it was not so bad to recive salary in bitcoins one time Grin

What.... I never think like you, the effect of halving is applied for the long term. yesterday are a halving day and this is very short time to see the halving effect to the price of bitcoin. a lot of miners is no yet felt about the halving effect at this time. they know the halving effect is for the long term.

Although I do keep part of bitcoins as an investment, the times that I have used bitcoin to transact online, it’s been an absolute joy. I’ve made many purchases, such as buying my computer parts online, paying for my website hosting and even games online. Id gladly accept it as salary

Curiosity strikes. You are different to the most of the answers. So I would try to make an example. If I were to give you 1 bitcoin a month as your salary then suddenly price goes back to 500 dollars per bitcoin would you still accept it? It will not change to 1.5 bitcoin or something because that is the deal.

yes that's what I'm concerned if it receives in the form of bitcoin. we know that bitcoin prices fluctuate and unexpected. so when it falls we did not get a full salary.

I would not like to have my salary in bitcoin because than I have to convert my money to pay things.
As a example I would need to pay electrical bills and this cannot be done in bitcoins.
yeah it can not be done using bitcoin you must cpverti it first to fiat in advance to pay for something yeah it was quite makes  you difficult, I have not been so accepting if my boss will pay me with bitcoin, but if the companies force it surely you must have a trick to it dude
I think what will bring a revolution and push to bitcoins popularity further more is, if the employers starts to ask their workers that they will pay 5% extra if they decide to get paid by bitcoins, but the very big question is why they will decide to pay their employees in bitcoin if their incoming source is not in bitcoin Sad

I would accept bitcoin as a salary. But only a portion of it, like 10% - 15% or so with the option to increase or decrease that percentage on a month by month or year to year basis.

That would be a cool idea.

I think all the companies should have option 4 this.

Just have 10-50% of the salary payable in digital currencies with the option to change the parameters Smiley

Yes, at this time I would accept bitcoin for my salary.  I do not have a lot of financial obligations so I am ok with volatility.

I love Bitcoin
